Mountain Valley Seed Company is a US based company. Their customer service and workforce are based in the US, along with their heirloom vegetable seeds being sustainable. Everyone should experience the joy of growing.
👤I was hesitant because of the negative reviews, but I should point out that every vendor has these types of reviews. Some people don't understand what they're buying. The MRE arrived in perfect condition. There were no leaks or damage. People are confused by the dates on items. It's not expired if it's on a 2017 date. Before leaving negative reviews, those who claim items are expired should research what they are buying. Most of the reviews on this store are completely unfair and it depends on the store's reputation. I will definitely purchase from here in the future. A personal letter that I received with my purchase made me feel confident.
👤After watching Crazy Russian Hacker eat meat spreads, canned beef and tubes of Condensed Milk, everyone wants a Russian MRE. I think we all do. I ordered a Russian MRE for the kids. It was great to ship from Exclusive Bay. There were no problems. The MRE is in its plastic pouch after we opened the box. Wow! Just like on TV! We opened the pouch and the box and found nothing. The contents list is in the photo. The canned meals that were missing were marked with an "X." crackers, cheese spread, jams, chocolates, fruit bars, and a lot of sugar were there. They were all present. No meals! Imagine a Russian soldier getting a package in the field. Russians are a tough bunch. I think he could. The crackers are heavy, but good. Excellent cheese spread. There were two different types of apple jams. The chocolate spread was thick and good. We did not get canned beef or beef with grits. We were looking forward to it. The seller reached out about the missed meals. A new MRE is on it's way. Will give more info after it's received.
👤I've ordered several European MREs in the past and I never had a problem with them. I opened this one this morning and it smelled like rotting flesh and fecal matter. The entire lower floor of the house was filled with the smell of rotting meat, and I realized the bag should not have been bloated like it was, it held a tight seal, but it was like opening up death warmed over. The mess that I saw when I looked inside was so bad that I couldn't get out to the trash. The special atmosphere is still present in my home. BUYER, be careful.
👤The item was very light when it arrived. The ration was removed from the shipping box. Someone took a utility knife to the bottom of the ration and removed all of the main dishes. Pack of crackers, cheese and pate were left. Not going to bother with a replacement. ReFUND!
👤We were excited to try out an Russian MRE but we had trouble finding one that was worth the money. This ine was one of the others that was a one-ration meal. This was worth it to me. We would recommend this to anyone. They're a great company and the note that came with the bag was very thoughtful. We got the same thing as the image show, only one packet had a tear in it and some of the sugar was loose in the bag. It was a good choice. It was fun to figure out what each item was. Highly recommended.
Party light, all night: 100% safe, longer-lasting party favors: National days, Halloween, Christmas, birthday party, concert, and sports games. If their glow sticks have a shortage of glow time, they will give you a 100% refund. Most customers buy more than one pack and give it to their friends and family. The package contains 3600 calories per package. The US Coast Guard has been approved.
👤I received one that wasn't sealed, after seeing other reviews about faulty packaging. I was going to open it to see if I liked it before buying more. The foil was folded and cracked because of the vacuum seal against the inner bars. The foil is thick and has a plastic layer inside that makes a good seal. The foil and plastic is very hard to open and it was difficult to open the package with the tear notch. I got a knife to open the package the rest of the way because I was a strong guy. The bars are the same size as your off the shelf bars. They are wrapped with thin plastic and wouldn't trust it to hold in crumbs. Take small bites and chew completely according to the directions. The coconut flavor is strong, as others have said. The texture is like oily corn meal. The oil isn't overwhelming, it's just so that you don't dry out your mouth. The bar is a bit hard, but the crumbs fall off when you bite into it. I wouldn't want to eat these often, but they are for emergency purposes. They would taste like a juicy steak if I were really hungry. When you're starving, taste is ok, but watch out for punctured seal, it's used for when you're not going for regular meals.
👤It was much smaller than I expected. It was surprisingly good. Not great, but good. It was like an off-brand cookie. It's very sweet, but I can't handle much more than a bite of the cookie bar. I drink water to cut the sweet taste. A point or sharp edge is required to pierce the tough packaging. I would be happy to eat this in an emergency situation and it is small enough to fit in a backpack or a boat. I have verified that I could live with eating them, so I'm going to get more for my kit. Purchasing this is a wise choice and you won't regret it when you are stuck in your car during a white out, without supplies after a Hurricane, or stranded on a dead boat at sea.
👤The S.O.S 3600 Calorie Food Bar had the greatest packaging and was one of the major emergency food ration bars. The mylar packaging is tough and tightly sealed. We dropped a full package from a four story building onto a sidewalk and it held up without cracking or penetrating the packaging. The package was put in salt water for seven days and six nights and it tasted like it was in the ocean. We tasted it for five days in the cold and snow. If you leave it in the environment for a year or so, it won't have that new taste, so it's made to be stored and provided in case of an emergency. The food is seperated into nine bars in which each is packaged in plastic once you open the mylar packaging. They have a cinnamon - coconut cookie flavor to them and are very good, they are a survival food that is good what more can you ask for. The food is not bad and it will not dry out your mouth when you eat it, so you can live longer without food than you can without water. The shelf life of this product is five years, which is great because of the ideal storage conditions. This product is great for your home survival kit or vehicle emergency kit as they are heavy for a backpack. We will purchase more of these in the future.
Cool playing cards are great gifts. If you are dissatisfied with their waterproof playing cards, you can contact them for a replacement. The dimensions are 4.5” H x 4” W x 1.5” D. It's easy to use, because it contains all the vital tools and lessons on learning the essentials for surviving emergency situations. It isdurable: The education cards are waterproof and the entire kit comes in a shatterproof case with o-ring seals. The small size of the watertight case allows for storage in small places and it has a carabiner and lanyard that can be attached to any backpack or gear. Also included: First Aid and Shelter Building cards are included.
👤I think that anyone who has ever been in the woods will be familiar with the cards. For anyone who has never been in the woods, never opened a video or read a book, these card guides are for you. There is a The cards are flimsy and can get wet. I understand that they come in a waterproof container, but there is always rain and it seems to come down when you need to make survival happen. Text is great on the back, but images are not. It would be better to include a magnifying glass and put some small images on the back to show what to do. If you have a printer and a laminator, you would be better off making your own.
👤Two of these were bought with no cards at all and a broken container the second came missing 2 cards and yet another broken container, how can this be waterproof if it comes broken
👤The case arrived broken because it was packed in a paper bag. I haven't looked at the cards yet because it would be packed with little care.
👤Don't waste your money. It doesn't show you how to survive. If you don't know already, you're dead.
👤It is a good base line product to include in your survival kit. Instructions and information are clear. I bought the UST Live and Learn outdoor skills card set and the ESEE Pocket navigation/survival cards with the Rite in Rain notebook after a discussion at my town job about survival if things suddenly go south. I live 25 miles from my town job and she lives 9 miles from the workplace. What is anyone supposed to do if I get injured, after she told her boyfriend that she expects him to kill himself in the first 5 minutes. Basic survival skills and the need for general survival training have been taught using this combination.
👤The water tight container arrived with a broken hinge, making it worthless. The cards are well made and I'm happy to have them, but without a container, I don't like the value for the price. It is not worth the time to exchange the container, which would break on the first trip.
👤I was not happy with the condition of the cards, they were in a container that made it easy to put in a pack. The back card of the first aid set had its clear coating peeling off and some of it had peeled up. It looked like it had been damaged. Due to the tightness of the fastening, two of the card sets can't be used. You have to bend them or send them back. Many of the cards are helpful and informative, but there are certain cards that make you wonder how it is supposed to help. My child has a survival pack. She might not know how to treat shock. I was disappointed to see only the symptoms of shock, not how to treat it, on the shock card.
We offer a risk-free LIFETIME & SATISFACTION WARRANTY. A survival kit, thermal blanket, and free membership to The Atomic Bear Academy are included. Whole home indoor, gas powered tankless water heaters are 3.6 GPM and are an energy saver. It's perfect for any small home, cabin or apartment. It's easy to read the digital temperature display on a small and space-saving design. Plugs into a standard 120v electrical outlet with a UL listed cord. The water temperature controls are easy to use. Minimum flow rate is 0.65 gallons per minute. The water temperature controls are easy to use. Minimum flow rate is 0.65 gallons per minute.
👤I wanted to give a review on this water heater. It's been in my travel trailer for about three months. It was easy to install. I understand why it's not recommended for use, but I also understand how happy people can be over stupid things. I am very happy with how this little beauty performs. The shower is almost instantaneous, and the water temperature can be a bit tricky to get right, but it is worth it because it delivers unlimited hot water in about 5 seconds to the farthest part of my trailer. It doesn't intrude into the space one has in a travel trailer, and appears to "sip" propane. The heat from the unit is not an issue. I can hold my hand on the vent pipe when it's running, but it doesn't get hot enough to ignite anything because of the power vent. When it senses water flow, it ignites. After the flame is stopped, the fan continues to run. It's an absolute winner if it holds up. I will update this review if I encounter any issues. Still deserves 5 stars. I am amazed at how little propane it uses. I started with a 20 gal tank and still have some left. I had to lower the settings to account for the warmer water coming into the unit during the warm weather. I have had no issues with the water heater and am still happy with it. I am amazed at how it sips propane and heats water well. It's easy to vary the temperature even if you don't need it. Would recommend this unit to others.
👤We live in an off grid home. We love the hot water tank. 140 degree water in a second. We have no low flow issues. We use a 6 gal pump. There was one issue out of the box. The brass drain valve was leaking. A.79 cent O-ring was replaced. This tank is very good. Customer service was responsive and answered my questions. The temp controls are easy to use. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining. It is a great hot water tank.
👤I decided to replace it after two years of using it. It was just totally inconsistent. Went downhill from there after seeing to sort of work after first installing. It's useless for sinks as they won't generate enough flow to cause this thing consistently. Warm water can be made by appliances that give enough flow, but they aren't good enough to make hot water. Is it high capacity? I don't think so. Maybe they have a different definition for high capacity.
👤If you mix hot and cold water it will turn off the unit and cause a cold shower. It is a good idea to find a suitable vent pipe besides what is included. I bought the i12 when I sent the unit back. Working did a great job of keeping temp but would not ignite and give me an e1 error code. Tech support is useless. I wouldn't recommend any eccotemp products. I bought a takagi tankless water heater. Well built in Japan, it has a true 3gpm water output.
Also, note: When the oxygen has been removed, bags may not shrink like vacuum bags. Absorbers only absorb 21% of the air, which is oxygen. The air volume will be gone about 1/3 of the time. The apple-cinnamon flavor is pleasant. It is easy to store an optimal balance of cholesterol and vitamins. Each bar can be eaten in six portions with a total of 2400 calories.
👤You should ignore anyone who reviews this on the basis of how it tastes. This is not a camping or hiking snack. When you find yourself trapped in the wilderness or in your own home after a disaster, survival ration tastes bland or bad to discourage excessive eating. These taste ok. It was kind of a cinnamon shortbread. For its intended use, texture and quality are fine. I have received 6 of these packages so far and all of them have been sealed perfectly. I put a second layer of vacuum plastic over my survival food to protect it from accidental puncturing and to extend its lifespan. If you get any that have a vacuum loss, just eat it or throw it away. Poor handling in transit or a minor factory defect are the reasons why they're not worth a 1 star review. The calories come out to $.001 per calories. I've been searching for and buying long term storage emergency ration for over a decade and never have I found a better price in the market. Put these in a box in the back of a closet and then buy a bunch of canned and dry foods for your "shtf" meals. These calories are not a meal replacement. To make sure you're getting something resembling real sustenance, keep a bottle of multi vitamins, a few gallons of water, and a couple pounds of freeze dried potatoes or rice nearby. I'm up to 15. I haven't had a single issue with them losing vacuum. Don't let bad luck deter you from purchasing these. If you keep buying these low cost alternatives, the price gougers will start lowering their prices.
👤It appears to be a single pack.
👤The product is not accurate. One pack is not 4 days of food, but one day of food. This product has a shelf life of 5 years and will last 2 years. I am angry with the seller for misrepresenting the product. I would love to have my money back. I could shop locally and find a better deal.
👤We thought we were getting a box of four, not one bar. The image showed four. Since that time, it has changed. The price for 4 seems reasonable. The cost for one is out of line. The product was useless because of the broken vacuum seal. The bars are good for emergency food. We've bought them from local retailers before. The experience of this seller was not great.
👤I ordered 8 boxes and got 8 bars that were not a good value and the bars were good but not at this price.
👤The vacuum seal wasn't intact. The company uses an illustration that shows 4 packages. Caveat emptor is not for purchase.
👤Any type of emergency food is very expensive. These single packs are also selling other places for $20+ each. Also. For $5, you get 2400 calories and a 5 year shelf life, which is a good deal for something that you can just open and eat. You can get these from Wal-mart for five cents cheaper than Amazon will charge, but you have to order four of them. It's a very dense bread type bar. More powdery than bread, like gingerbread. It tastes like a sweet dessert with a hint of cinnamon. It's not something I'd go out of my way to snack on, but it tastes good and is similar to a dense bar. It doesn't taste bad like other emergency ration bars that taste like chemicals or gross. There are some that are my favorite for taste and price. It's worth $5 to have a car glove box and all your backpacks. Just in case. If you break it into the six 400 calories sections, you'll get one of these.
There are 36 bars in the value pack with 200 calories per bar. It is packaged in a way that makes it easy to ration and store in your survival and disaster kit. The coconut flavor is superior and all natural. The small and lightweight is USCG approved and has a 5 year shelf life. A high energy value and ready to eat.
👤I have put food bars in my emergency kit for a long time. They are a good product. The date is conservative as far as I can tell. I have eaten bars that I was planning on replacing and found that they tasted great. If you are eating emergency bars, the calories are more important than the vitamins. If you reach the expiration date, add a new package to your kit instead of throwing out the expired package. The bars can't be resealed. I keep a Zip-lock bag with the ration so that I can open the factory packaging and find them later. The food bars are wrapped in a thin plastic wrap that is not air tight, so they don't stick together. The material that the food bars are made out of has a compressed look to it, rather than being stuck together. The taste is similar to a bar with a nutty flavor. The bars are going to go bad if it gets punched from bouncing around in emergency kit, that's the weak point of the packaging. I use my FoodSaver to vacuum pack the factory package of bars. This protects against a hole being punched in the package.
👤Good price. It's not bad. Bland is more realistic when it comes to sugar content than another brand. They claim three days per bar. Depending on your activity level. Laying in a life raft, the instructions say to eat one every 6 hours, which would stretch them to 4 1/2 days, but they suggest one every 4 hours which makes the 3 days they claim. If you need to be active, you should plan for each pack to be good for 2 days. A bit heavy. You don't need extra water or a fire. Nothing to distract you. These are a major part of my disaster plan.
👤These are for embryology. These are easy to store and perfect for keeping in a bug out bag. Since you won't be using them except in an emergency, you won't care what it tastes like. I bought a pack of two and will be buying a further 3-6, they are not too expensive for what you get out of them, and if you get lost, you can't put a price on survival. I wouldn't recommend it as they are high in fat (9 grams per bar) and once the outer glazed aluminum foil wrap is broken your shelf life is no more. If you haven't bought these before they are quite small, they are compressed and made to be eaten slowly and chewed well. I will keep this up if there is a change, be smart and stay safe!
👤I have returned it three times because the vacuum seal failed on at least two of the four packages. I bought this product a long time ago for a disaster preparedness kit and am only replacing it now because it has expired. The old packages were sealed perfectly. Quality control is thought to have gone downhill.
Their survival kits are suitable for birthday gifts or Christmas presents for dads, boyfriends, or children. They want you to love your purchase. They will give you a replacement or full refund if you are not satisfied. The 'Just in Case' Food Supply, The Survival Tabs, and the Bugout Food are backup for situations such as natural disasters. This is the best food in the smallest amount. When facing uncertainty, the body needs all the daily essential vitamins and minerals. The design is small and easy to store. The Bugout food contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals. It is made with the highest quality meat. GLUTEN free and non-GMO. This calculation is based on one average person. Consumption requirements can be different from person to person. The flavor is mixed. There are 4 x 180 tablets. 20 calories per tab for 12 chewable tablets. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D.
👤How many tabs do you have? More like 180 and won't answer my messages.
👤I received one of the containers. For one container, it's $150. Hope you correct the mistake.
👤The description says there are 4 bottles. I received 3 bottles and 540 tabs. I was going to buy more if I liked these, because it's a simple way to prepare for emergencies and it has a long shelf life, but I was shorted an entire bottle.
👤This will be a great back up for any emergency. Natural disasters, stranded somewhere, or anything else can happen in this day and age. I laughed at a reviewer who was complaining about the daily calories. Something is better than nothing in an emergency. It's not a gourmet meal, but it's a great back-up for either nothing or filling in on limited food choices you may have in your pantry, as well as being a great way to meet your daily calories intake. In an emergency, you will have to use what you have on hand, and this is just another reassurance you can have somewhere in your home, or even take while camping for weeks on end in the middle of no where! This is a great addition to anyone who cares about preparing for an emergency, or just doesn't want to be taken by surprise in the event of an emergency. The Red Cross believes in a few days of preparation. Does it matter how it tastes if you are desperate?
👤Not bad. I tried a few. I can't say the flavor is exactly as described, but I can see how they'll help you feel like you've eaten something, even if you don't have vitamins or minerals.
👤I bought these for a worst case scenario to have the key minerals and ingredients. For 15 days, each container has 100 percent of your key nutrients. It's definitely expensive but it's cheaper than freeze dried food as I have quite a few of these and ramen for pure empty calories. I think they taste really good. It's a key component to any survivalist.
👤If this keeps 25 years, I think you'd need more than that to survive, but it works for me. They tasted really good when I tried them. You would need about 3 times the ration per day. They don't take a lot of space. I'll buy a few.
👤I only received a 30 day supply of survival tabs after ordering a 60 day supply. I paid 158 dollars for a 60 day supply.
👤Good product. It took a long time to get here. Canada customs is to blame for that.
The US Coast Guard approved a 12-day supply of food. 2 packets Each packet contains fortified food bars. The US Coast Gaurd was approved for 5 years shelf life. The USCG No 160.046.36 was approved. No 168.006. It is designed to sustain life until rescue or addtional food is available. The coconut flavor is great. The coconut flavor is great.
👤I'm only eating these for 3 days. A personal challenge. The Final Day is day 3. If you like coconut, the taste is great. I score there. The main ingredient in the biscuits/cookies is sugar. They haven't spiked my blood sugar, I've taken my blood sugar 3 times, twice the first day and once yesterday. It was either 81 or 82 each time. The brick of food is 1.6 pounds, there are 9 biscuits/cookies, and each one weighs almost 3 ounces. The package felt greasy when I opened it and I was looking at a block of food. I cut a third of the cookies away with a knife, but they were wrapped individually and stuck together. They are wrapped in plastic. I've been drinking water with each cookie because of the promotion of thirst. That is important to keeping hunger away. I drink about 480 ounces of water and 6-7 cups of tea each day. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, I cut the cookies in thirds and eat 1/3 of a cookie. I save the last third for a snack. It seems to work until about 4pm when I get hungry and have to wait for it to pass. I continued to work out in the morning for 45 minutes. I feel the weight on my eye lids in the evening because I'm a little more tired than usual. I usually sleep for 7 hours but last night I slept for 8. I feel great in the mornings. I feel tired in the late afternoons and evenings. Breakfast was my strategy. I haven't had it yet. I ate it on the day before. A 1/3 of a cookie is enough to eat. Before you eat, drink at least 20 ounces of water. Yesterday was almost 11 am, so you should wait as long as you can. Again drink water and tea. There is a Yesterday was 1 pm. Drink water. The snack was at 3:30 pm. Drink water and tea. The dinner was close to 6 pm. Drink water and tea before and during snack. Water and tea are good for you. I lost over 6 pounds in 2 days. There were no ill effects. The first night was cold. I had to drink tea and put a warm cup against my neck to warm me up after taking my temperature. It might have been that I was incorporating a lot of tea into the plan last night, because I didn't have the same effect. Put one in your car, your wife's car, your kid's car. They're great for emergencies. Live off them for 3 days if they're about to expire. Update I lost 9 pounds after completing the challenge and felt great the whole time. The hunger is not the only thing. It's worth keeping your cars in case of an emergency.
👤The apocalypse won't be bad after all. I decided to eat one and see if I want to keep this in my closet. They are so delicious that I've already gone through a 3 day pack. There was nothing wasted. I "lived" off of 3 bars a day for 3 days, and they do eradicate hunger. I accomplished everything I could on a day to day basis, except for the desire for a cheeseburger. It was an interesting 3 days but I am confident that S.O.S. Rations will be a great addition to the long term food storage. If I can stop eating them. I had them with coffee, so maybe that was cheating.
It isdurable: Sturdy, plastic rim and base provide stability. There is a material called Polyester. Mae: Gemsekorb is 14 cm. Children can learn about different types of vegetables through play. The pretend playset has a basket, cucumber, tomato, carrots, and potatoes. This set will make a great addition to your child's play kitchen, even if they are plucking a raw tomato or carrot from their garden, baking up a potato or creating a delicious soup. The vegetable basket is 5.75" in diameter and has 2 fabric handles so children can easily tote around their veggies. They are machine washed on cold/delicate.
👤The vegetables and basket are easy to clean. Colorful, soft and high quality are included. Money was well spent.
👤These are the same as the 888-666-1846 I bought the item for our infant daughter because I thought it would be funny for her to be eating her vegetables while she worked on her motor skills. They are soft and cute.
👤These look realistic and are perfect size. They will be up to the task!
👤The only complaint I have is the size, it looks bigger in the ad.
👤I used this for a story basket. The basket was soft and safe for young children to play with. They were able to act out parts of the story in their imaginations.
👤The HABA set is a great choice for soft play food.
👤The Preis ist habtisch und optisch. HABA ist aber das Schnste/ Beste.
👤Cestino e verdura ben fatti. Alla realt specie le patate. Mia figlia.
👤Im Haba blich ist das gute Verarbeitung. Schnes is a product. Schn wre, man das Gemse zerteilen knnte.
👤In der Spielkche meiner Enkelin, gerne.
It measures 10-1-5 by 5-1-5 by 4 inches. Get what you need in a professional camping kit. The kit includes: a personal water filter straw, a multi-functional tool, a first aid tourniquet, a wire saw, an emergency blanket, a flashlight, a band-aids whistle, and a fishing card. The upgrade hard case can hold all items. The water filter straw can remove harmful substance. The smallest solid particles are found in the environment. It is helpful to reduce plastic water bottles using the water filter. A good partner for disaster water supply. The camping kit case is portable and lightweight, with a weight of only 1.28 pounds. It is easy to put it in a backpack. The water filter straw provides clean water, the multi function tools can quickly cutting branches, and the emergency blankets can retain 90% of body heat. All items are packaged in a good quality box. It's a good gift for fathers day, Christmas, new year, and other special days. It is a perfect gift for Dad Men Father Boyfriend.
👤I like to be prepared and this kit looked like a good lightweight addition to my pack. In my video, I show you everything. There is a small black bag that holds everything. Everything seems to be in working order. The kit has a filter straw in it.
👤A good knife, a spork/opener, and a pen are included in the kit. There are fire starter, filter straw, and more. The pieces are well designed and seem sturdy, but this is not a complete kit. The flashlight case is too big for a AA battery. It's probably smaller than a 18500 battery, but you can easily adapt it to use AA batteries. I wrapped a layer of Moleskin around it. It will be safe and dry in the flashlight if you have moleskin around.
👤The survival kit arrived on time. We used most of it this past weekend to see if it works. Yes, it does. My boys started a fire with the flint, we cut small limbs with a saw and used a knife for many applications. This set is worth a lot of money. Some of the ware on the tested products are shown in the pics. We have more to try on our next camping trip. Enjoy and thank you!
👤This was a perfect gift for my son. He enjoyed opening it and seeing the items. He thought about how he would use each implement. We thought the flashlight's battery was missing a part. It works so don't be confused. It requires a AA. It is a win. Two whistles that aren't loud, one goes on your key ring, but they do the trick. To be prepared!
👤You get what you pay for, with no instructions, nothing to tell you what to do, and not everyone is a master of the outdoors. The all in one tool is a perfect size but the finish is rough. The knife has everything I wanted, but it feels cheap. The mini flashlight is the worst part of the kit. They didn't grind the inside enough and the battery didn't fit. This has nothing to do with the seller. There are some things that I would change to make it a better kit. The value is great. I wanted to point out a few things that could be better, so I would recommend it.
👤You can't beat this for the money, I'm an emergency supply collector. You can put everything in the velvet case. A personal water straw, a durable foldable knife with case, 2 flash lights, emergency blanket, Paracord with compass, a spoon/fork combo fire starter/striker, whistle, multitool can opener, and more are included. I'll be buying gifts for these kids.
👤It is a good quality kit. A good knife. The limb cutting saw iscent. A good fire starter. A good pen, glass breaker, and defense tool. The straw has 2 good accessories. The contents are good. If you don't already have a storage bag, get one that is visible and easy to access. I would recommend this kit to anyone.

👤Not an MRE alternative. 5 large bags of dry ingredients cost more than what I could buy at the store and still require a pot and water to make. It's only useful in the ideal survival scenario. It is worthless for survival and a waste of money.
👤The bag is sealed with rice, beans, macaroni and pancake mix. It would be cheaper to buy it at the store. You need a pot and water to cook food. It is not like a MRE that you just add water and cook. The packaging is thick and seals tight. Customer service is great.
👤I was expecting a premade meal. The money was wasted.
👤It comes out to about 16 cents per 100 calories. You can't beat that. Some of it is white rice. It's in a package for 25 years. You have to replace it every couple years. I'm going to buy more. You could eat 1000 calories a day with the other 2 week supplies, but only if you had one box. Think about it. A family of 4 can have a month's supply of food for $200.
👤I bought these because I wanted to save them for a rainy day or flash flood, but I haven't opened them yet. I like the packaging, it makes it look nice to get a box of food, but I wish there was a different type of box for storage since I live in the Pacific Northwest and everything gets damp. I could put the food in a tote. The food is in a nice package. I thought it was cute that it told you when it was born. We can make it last for a while if we give a lot of serving for practical reasons. I was happy to get the emergency food and put it in a cute box. Maybe take it camping this summer.
👤It is a great price for a basic meal prep. It comes in a box that is crushed by your door. The company needs a better package after the contents were not damaged. I would buy one a month if it came better packaged. It is difficult to stack the product when the box is bulging. I'm going to buy some buckets to put it in. It seems to be good.
👤I don't buy military ration if there's no fuel or fire. This is a lot of food for a small amount of money. Having long lasting grains like this gives me some peace of mind.
👤I found that I should start just in case. The case was worth the price for a first timer. It doesn't take up much space in our limited storage and the packaging is secure, so there are no worries about anything going bad. The ingredients are straight forward and easy to make. I recommend!
