The Easiestsuck camping water purifier is made of high quality materials. It can provide up to 1500 liters of drinking water. The lifespan of the filter would be different according to the water quality. 50 purification tablets for hiking, backpacking, camping, travel, survival, and emergency preparedness are included. Aquatabs protect against viruses and removebacteria, protozoa, organic compounds, and particulate. The hydration bladders are compatible with a variety of wide mouth water bottles. The filters treat up to 2,000 liters of water and each tab treats 2 quarts. The pump is 7.5 x 2.75 inches and weighs 1 pound.
👤The filter worked well on my trip. The water tasted like water from my reverse osmosis system at home. It works well with a wide mouth water bottle. I have a 32 ounce nagelene and a 24 ounce one under armor and they both attach to it. After my first few bottles were filled, it was a slow process. I got the water from northern Lake Michigan. All in all worked well.
👤I have bought at least 5 of them. I still have my original one, almost 20 years later. We bought this one for our oldest. The best filter. It's reasonable on price. This is the one for a manual water filter.
👤Provides clean water. The only downside is that you have to clean the filter every quarter of a gallon. We had a day's worth of drinking water in less than an hour after waiting for the chlorine tabs.
👤My son recommended it to us. It's easy to use in the stream. The bottles were bought to attach. The hose is long enough.
👤I have used this product on many fishing trips in Canada. Works well!
👤If you pump from clear water, this thing will pump faster than 1L per minute. It tastes great, it is small, and it is easy to clean. If you're looking for a filter, this one is for you.
👤backpacking used This system saved us when we ran out of water.
👤Customer service is very helpful.
👤D'une grosseur et fonctionne super.
The water filter is long lasting with back-flushing filter, durable survival straw, and robust construction body. There is a note here. If you want to purchase a MoKo official filter replacement, please use the search box. The included filter can be used in many different ways. Add a 29.5-inch extension tube for more distance drinking, or use as a personal water filter. You can connect onto a water bottle. The water purification camping has a lifespan of 5,000 liters (1320 gallons) for a family of four uses up to 3.5 years. It won't slow you down when you're trying to make miles. The water filter camping made up of 0.1-micron hollow fiber ultrafiltration, 5-micron coconut shell GAC filter, and 0.2-micron PP fiber filter removes over 99% bact, heavy metal, chlorine, odors, and micro-plastics. It's easy to use and lightweight, and it's hands-free, so you don't have to pump or squeeze water. The gravity water filter can be rolled up to save space in your backpack. The materials used in the camping water filter are food-grade, FDA certificated, and no chemicals are used to filter the water. You can get enough reliable pure water with the 3L gravity-fed bag. It's ideal for backpacking, camping, or just keeping on hand for emergencies.
👤I was surprised. I thought the water would be bland, but it tasted great. It's better to have water out of a tap. I can't get to the seller in time for my review to be updated. The fter is not working after two uses. I've tried blowing air and drawing air to no avail. It isn't covered with mud or silt. The fibers have just expanded to the point of obstruction, and the seller got in touch to let me know a replacement filter was not a problem. I should have it very soon. Customer service is great.
👤I used it to remove the bladder from the included one as well as sucking the water through the straw. Both worked well. It took about 7 minutes to gravity filter 2.5 liters. It takes a bit of effort to get it through the straw, but once it starts, it's pretty consistent. It would be great if the hose was longer to make it easier to sip from it on the go. The hose is short compared to a camel bladder.
👤I haven't tried the gravity bag yet, but I have some red flags. 1. The product doesn't have the words Waki on it. 2. The same product and images are used by another company. 3. The product seems to be for a bottle of water, but I bought a straw and gravity bag. I fear using this in a real life situation because I don't want it to be a fake.
👤If you have used these before, you know what you are dealing with. If you are already on your camp out and find you have no water, you are up for a surprise. Irepped this thing at home. The flow is so bad that I only got a small sip. If you are camping, this will not provide enough water. You will die. I have spoken with other campers and they all agree. The purification tablets are for sale.
👤I drank out of a lake and a river and there were no problems. Water tasted great and I didn't get sick, what more could you ask for?
👤We had to get one to treat the water at our hunting camp because we saw this on the Wooded Beardsman's YouTube channel. Our camp's water comes out of the ground into a collector, then it overflows into a reservoir, before traveling by pipe into the camp. The water should be pure, but you never know if something has died in the water source or in the collector. We hang the bag on a nail and let gravity do all the work. I've heard that pressing the bag will help it move faster, but we just let it do its own thing. The bag has a handle that can be slid on and off. The most important thing to remember is to remove the air bubbles from the tube so the water flows well. The air will be removed when the tube is tapped and squeezed. The water is clear and odorless. It's a must for anyone who has time to purify water.
Round pump handle for easy pumping. The world's first portable electric water filter can produce up to 100, 000 liters of water. It's easy to use and it produces 17 ounces of clean water in 17 minutes. The backwashing syringe system comes with all internal filters, tubing, and a travel bag. A super fast flow rate of 500ml (17oz) per minute is what this weighs. Can be used from a fresh water source, or pumped into a hydration pack. It's a great way to purify large jugs of water for the whole family. All manufacturing and other defects are covered by the lifetime warranty of the Survivor Filter. If you run into any problems with any of their products, simply contact them and they will make it right.
👤I have been waiting for a product like this for 25 years. I would give it 10 stars. The product is quiet and fast. I have never experienced a better portable water filter. Well done! You have a customer. It's really unbelievable. There is an update. The cooler water had a little bit of milk mixed in it, so I used the filter to remove it. I mean less than half a cup in a 30 quart cooler, but the water was clean after the filters were put in. The pump couldn't get any more water out after the intake hose collapsed on me. I'm assuming it's related to the milk. I backflushed the filter with the included needle, and it worked again, but at a reduced flow. After a cup or two of filters, the hose collapsed again. It was flushed again and used on a different source. The milk gummed up the pre filter and it worked again at a reduced flow. It was very strange. This little filter is great. Keep it away from the water.
👤I bought the manual version of the filter for my trip to the wilds of Eastern Colombia. Most of the people in our group bought a lot of bottled water, but I only had a lightweight Survivor filter and a two liter backpack bladder for my water needs. It was an easy walk to the river to fill up my bladder and the water was crystal clear. The water tasted great. The others asked if they could use the water from my filter, and so we all had great tasting water to drink. After returning home to the mountains above Medellin, I started using it again after the tap water started getting cloudy. My girlfriend in South America was amazed when she tried the water from my Survivor Filter and will only drink water that's been through the filter. I bought the Survivor Pro X Electric Filter to keep up with usage. It's the same high quality I was expecting from the Survivor Pro manual filter, but it's much faster. It plugs in with the power and quietly produces the water I'm used to. Highly recommended. This is not a paid review because I bought the systems.
👤Can't believe how amazing this is. My family used this a few days ago for our monthly camping trip and instead of lugging around large jugs of water, all we had to bring was this water filter. We left this by a creek and it was already filled with clean water before we set up camp.
👤They have sent me a new one and a backup, which is great since I experienced a rare failure. The manual Pro arrived in two days and works the same as the battery one. The filters do a great job. The battery Pro X will arrive soon.
👤The Survivor Filter Electric Pro X Water Filtration System is very easy to use and setup. It has two hoses, one for input and one for output, an ON-OFF push button, and the best part is it's electric, so no hand pumping! The electric feature is what convinced us to buy, as well as the option of battery power, the triple-filtration process, the supplier test report with positive results, and the many high reviews from other users. We have a permanent setup on our kitchen counter for the purpose of drinking water. We fill a large clear plastic pitcher with water from our home well system and use a Survivor Filter to remove nitrates from the water and put it into a large 3 gallon water dispenser with spout. Clean water is always available via the large spout. The amount of water in the pitcher takes about 4 minutes to be pumped into the large water dispensers and the dispensers hold about 7 pitchers. We refill the water dispensers at night, which takes less than 15 minutes, and use 2 pitchers of water per day. The pitcher is almost empty, and we bought a battery operated digital timer that would wake us when it was almost empty. We turn off the Survivor Filter Pro and refill the pitcher again until the large water dispensers is full again. Whenever we travel in our RV travel trailer, we always take the Survivor Filter with us. We bought the Survivor Filter hand pump model as a backup in case the electric unit goes out in an emergency situation. We're very happy with this product and recommend it to others.

👤I bought these for my bag. I will be prepared when there is a global emergency. I will write a review after it saves my life. I will probably not write a review if it doesn't save my life.
👤I was confused when I opened the bag. I bought a fake LifeStraws. I looked up the company and it looks legit. They are a Chinese company. They seem like they were paid advertisements though. I couldn't find any reviews that I could trust to be honest. I encourage you to do your own research. I'm returning these because the pictures I'm seeing on the internet aren't the same. The product does not have a brand name. I checked the other negative reviews and the box says to use fresh water to reduce the risk of infections. Is the water dirty? The user assumes all risk when using the product. If you don't have enough confidence in your product to put your brand name on it, then I won't use it. I bought them for an emergency. When my survival depends on it, I won't use a product.
👤Not as advertised. I tried to drink my dogs urine. It was gross.
👤Not as advertised. It's portrayed as being a filter on the same order as a lifestraw. The company is not responsible for missed use of fresh water after receiving the package. It's marketed as a having survival applications but it's a tap water filter that I wouldn't even trust for that.
👤It tasted great when you drank out of the river silty mine.
👤I have had these stored away for future use, I decided to use one a few days ago, after blowing air through a straw to remove water, I drank from it and foam came out. I would like to get a refund. I didn't know this would happen.
👤Everyone should have a bag of clean water in their house. Multiple.
👤This is a great price. Just like a Life Straw, the quality, function, and price are the same. A must have for anyone! You should get this if you want to take camping, keep in your car, or stay away in case of emergencies. It is highly recommend buying!
👤This device was used on a week long canoeing/camping trip. I was able to drink fresh water whenever I wanted. Everyone who enjoys the outdoors is strongly recommended.
👤They said it would fit in a container. This is not true. It doesn't fit anything.
👤I used my friend's lifestraw because it didn't filter as well.
👤I will not be using the product I purchased because it is not as advertised and there is no "window" to view the water flow.
👤Works well! It was used on a hiking trip in the park.

👤This type of water system was used by me for 20 years in a developing country. It is easy to clean and maintain. It will provide a good flow of clean water. There is no need for electricity or mechanical parts that might fail. The system is very effective. I bought it in the US for an emergency.
👤If you show off what you have, it will only matter if you have a good item to have.
👤The price continues to go up. The kit contains $75 worth of filters and buckets. Don't be taken.

👤The product was open and not sealed. I was sent a used product by Amazon. There is no excuse for a sealed plastic to be opened. The damage was not a tear. It was obvious that it was cut with scissors. I can't be sure if the product was tampered with, so I might clean it and try to use it. It could be faulty, could be used, and already blocked. What a mess. I'll just shop somewhere else if you keep messing up.
👤The price for one of these straws is great. A camping trip. I wanted to be prepared. Water is a must for your body. I will make sure to drink and filter the water on the hike. I want to be safe and prepared when doing outdoor activities. The straw is light and convenient.
👤This works well when I use it for an in line filter. I used a gravity feed system to suck the water through and didn't get sick. After every use, the water tasted good and blew air through it.
👤The product was packaged well and ready to go. They are very similar to the more expensive brand. If we ever have to use them, will update review.
👤While we wanted this product and were happy to see it on sale, I was a bit dismayed to see it came from China, in the midst of the virus concerns not sure the timing is right, we sprayed the packaging down.
👤You will be happy to have it when you really need it. I like to be prepared for the worse case scenarios so this made an excellent addition to my just in case kit.
👤My very outdoorsy brother loves it.
👤The water tastes like it came out of a filter. Great purchase! These do the job for us when we can't filter tap water.
Excellent for removing grease, oil stains, tar and label. The microfiltration is able to remove 99% of waterbornebacteria and 99% of waterborne parasites. Removes microplastics and reduces the amount of water in the environment. All claims are verified with laboratories using standard testing protocols. 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons) of clean and safe drinking water will be provided by the microbiological filter. Every LifeStraw product purchased, a school child in need will receive safe drinking water for the entire school year. There are materials that are free of BPA.
👤You should get a Sawyer-Mini. I have used both on camping trips. You need steel jaws to suck water. If you use a Sawyer or other filters with pump/squeeze action, you won't have to rip out your filling. You have to lie on the ground, and other filters have a straw if the pouch breaks. You need to watch actual videos of people who use these frequently before voting down this post. Everyone uses a pump or squeeze method of filtration. Lifestraws are a great idea, but it is hard to use.
👤I am sorry to have the first one be so negative but the life straw was a total and utter disappointment. I bought it for my daughter to go to Mexico with strict instructions to not drink anything without the life straw. Had she followed my instructions she would have died of dehydration. We followed the instructions from the video to soak it, but we couldn't get any water to come through it. It was too late to return to Amazon and I did not receive a reply when I contacted Life Straw. Too bad. I was going to have one for each family member to have in an emergency pack. I will not do that after this experience.
👤This thing is serious. I went backpacking on Maine's Bigelow range. I ran out of water when I brought it. Bring a wide mouth bottle and fill it with water. I drank from the most disgusting looking hole on top of a lower peak. I thought it would be safe, but it wasn't. Wrong. It tasted like fresh spring water. Better than a tap. I'm from Maine, and I've tasted plenty of water from the mountain springs. It can be difficult to start. You have to prove it by soaking. Blow into it if it still doesn't work. Everyone should have a bug-out bag in case of a civil war, because the world seems to have gone mad.
👤If you don't clear the water after each use, the water will seize up. I didn't run a gallon through either of the break I had.
👤I dropped it from my mouth to the countertop and it stopped working, which is ridiculous. There was no impact at all. It is dangerous to have a water source out in the woods if it can't take an impact. This bad review is solely about that fact.
👤I've used these in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Works as advertised. The system is safe to use. When we deploy, we use it as a standard procedure to have one in everyone's room. It's called Semper Fi.
👤I drank from a steam. I have become a hippie. I'm in a transformation.
👤We got what we ordered. I've used this product before in Afghanistan, and I'm happy with it.
👤The price was right, so I wanted to get one for a while. The water out of the Lake of Two Mountains tasted good and did not have any ill effects.
The pump is 7.5 x 2.75 inches and weighs 1 pound. The kitchen system holds a lot of water at a time. It's a great water purification system for 3 to 5 people and its space-saving design makes it the perfect size for a small kitchen, apartment, college dorm room, or anywhere space is at a premium. Large enough to provide ample water and still small enough to fit in areas that larger units wouldn't. The high quality water filter system is simple to use. The water is poured into the upper chamber. The water can be accessed via a tap on the front of the filter. In the kitchen, the Gravity Countertop Filter provides clean water for drinking and cooking. It can also be used on the road. Each filter has millions of tiny pores that are big enough to allow water to pass through but small enough to block many contaminants, which reduces the bad while leaving the healthy elements of your water intact. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6,000 gallons. It's ideal for protect environments and reduce plastic waste by using high grade 304stainless steel with coconut activated carbon filters. It is very durable and doesn't oxidize or rust. It is ideal for daily use. It's worth your family. You can setup and move where you please with the Purewell gravity water filter system. It is a water purification system that uses gravity and does not require electricity. It is an ideal choice for those looking to improve their drinking water with a portable, easy to use system.
👤There is a slight taste problem with bottled water. The water filter I bought tasted like chemicals and I didn't like it. The family got sick from drinking the water from this filter. I didn't know the filter wasn't made in the US. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known.
👤The water purification system did not work for us. We all got sick after drinking the water.
👤This was what I needed. The tap water in my city tastes bad. I wasn't drinking it and wasn't staying hydrated. The system is simple and effective. I can't get enough of the fresh water. The coffee tastes better when I use the filters in my machine. This is worth the money. I appreciated the care that went into the packaging and shipping of the system. This is a high quality product and a real game change for me.
👤The product was very good. It does what we need it to do. Customer service quickly sent me replacements for the filters that wouldn't let water pass through. They were quick to respond and deserved a great rating. If you're looking for this kind of product, I can show you how good it is. It's just as good as the others.
👤Our water tastes better. It might be better if the filters were anchored with a screw type fitting.
👤It is very easy to set up and use. I had to get used to the fact that the water didn't have a flavor.
👤It works and is small, but there are some things I didn't like about the design. It does what it is supposed to do, but it is very slow. The type of bag used is not very user friendly and hard to fill in streams. The Katadyn Be Free was my comparison unit. We hiked for two days and wanted to try out some new filters. If you are going to use this frequently, you should get the Be Free.
The pump is 7.5 x 2.75 inches and weighs 1 pound. A simple turn can engage a ceramic pre-filter for long life in dirty water or a glass fiber filter in normal conditions. In the faster flow mode, it can produce up to two quarts per minute. A replaceable Katadyn carbon core and cleanable ceramic disc is used. The base can be used to fill hydration systems or larger containers. A simple turn can engage a ceramic pre-filter for long life in dirty water or a glass fiber filter in normal conditions. In the faster flow mode, it can produce up to two quarts per minute.
👤When it was brand new, this purifier worked great. The o-rings failed after a few seasons of use. This is not a minor maintenance issue. There are 7 o-rings, but it's not obvious which has given out. The o-rings failed on my last trip, so I replaced them with new ones, which were coated with Silicone grease. The purifier is still leaking. The worst part is to come. When the o-ring seal fails, the unit drips water into your bottle. A few drops of giardia-contaminated water can ruin your trip and put you in the hospital. There is a chance that the connecting rods for the pistons will come loose when you replace the o-rings. It's like solving a level 5 Hanayama 3D puzzle. I don't like Hanayama puzzles when they are part of wilderness equipment. This is a device that you will rely on to keep you alive and healthy in the wilderness and it has very bad design flaws that may put your health at risk. It's time for Katadyn to go back to the drawing board. I don't think you should buy it.
👤I bought this product to be my main system for backpacking. I read the owner's manual and did a 2-liter test pump before taking it out on a multi-day trip up the Bogachiel River on the Olympic Peninsula. The unit did a great job in my apartment. It failed during the filling of the second (2nd!) in the field, despite being light and relatively compact in the pack. It's called Nalgene. I had packed the lubricant and replacement O-rings just in case, but no level of repair was able to resolve the issue: there was simply no water flow. I had downloaded the instructions onto my phone. The fundamental flaws of the design were not helped by the recommended lubricating the O-rings, cleaning the ceramic filter, or replacing the O-rings entirely. Replacing and lubricating the new O-rings got it to leak a bit out the side, but I took it as an improvement. Should I have started repairs after 5 liters? The answer is no. I briefly considered throwing the whole thing in the river, however the environmental impact along with the realization that I would never get my $90 back stayed my hand. I boiled my water for two days. I made it off the trail in good health, had a wonderful spot under three old-growth spruce, and I now sit in front of a generous pour of 17-year Caol Ila unpeated single malt. At Katadyn, apparently confusion reigns.
👤If you get this, take it apart and lubricate the rubber rings and moving parts because it doesn't come pre-lubed. I have had this filter for a long time. I've taken it on several trips. It worked well twice. I have had issues with this pump before. It was difficult to pump because of the build up of backpressure inside the pump. I have to break it down and put it back together. Customer service from Katadyn is great. They sent me a new head section because they thought it was faulty. Same problem. I maintained this after every trip, so it isn't a maintenance issue, and there seems to be an actual flaw. I found others who fixed the pump by removing the ceramic portion, which turned it into a single stage pump. This design doesn't work well for Katadyn, it is high quality. The Katadyn "Hiker" was purchased by me and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm getting rid of the Vario and sticking with the Hiker model.
We cover all manufacturing and other defects for the lifetime sales support of the Survivor Filter. If you run into any problems with any of their products, simply contact them and they will make it right. 6L capacity is the most appropriate solution for group water needs. Their water filter camping can provide you with reliable sources of water at any time. Especially in an emergency. The camping water filter is made up of four stages: hollow fiber ultrafiltration, coconut shell GAC, and double PP fiber filters. The minimum amount of bact, micro-plastics, odor, Iribane, chlorine, heavy metals, and filters can be removed. The backwash solution has a replaceable mouth and no need for an extra needle. The fittings are light and cumbersome. The gravity water filter is easy to carry. Adding an extension tube on water straw for more distance using is one of the Versatile Use Ways you can find. The backpack water filter can be used to clean drinking water. The tree strap is easy to hang on trees. Thanks for the one-piece design, no worries about losing. Their water purification system is food-grade and free ofBPA. The EPA Est. 97260-CHN-1 is listed.
👤I tested this at home with some stagnant pond water and it didn't take away all the color that people like to see but there was a lot of dirt taken out when I cleaned it. It tasted fine and did not have any ill effects. Will be taking it on a backwater canoe trip to see how it works.
👤The water purification system was life-saving. It was the most important part of the equipment list on the 10 day trip to the BWCA wilderness in NE Minnesota. Simple, fast and perfect! I can't say enough good things about this product. It was a solution to provide all 6 of us with a safe and fresh water supply.
👤The headline says that this filter works very well and it's cheaper than most reasonable alternatives. The flow of water was slower than I was hoping for, but it was fine. Nine of us just got done using this filter. It's a good thing. We had to fill it with water that had bits of algae and a number of tiny bugs in it. : No one got sick because neither came through the other side. It's a good thing. It can be difficult to fill a bag to the maximum level, so be sure to get a bigger size than you think you need. The material has some weight and rigidity, which helps.
👤I replaced a pump filter with this and was very happy with the decision. Everyone else who went camping with me was so impressed that they are buying one of their own. Some had issues with other brands of the same type and plan to buy this one. Great for large groups. If it isn't flowing, back wash it.
👤My husband used this backpacking and it was a problem for a while. He had to continue cleaning it. He was not happy with the brand he used.
