The package includes a gift box, a watch and an instruction. They are honored to help with any problem if you send a message without hesitation. The Statue of Liberty and World Map are on the cover. The fully sealed design works well in all weather conditions. Special materials are used with a floating compass dial to improve the sensitivity and precision. The compass will always lead you in the right direction. There is a virtue of stable estates. It's ideal for all outdoor activities. If you are an outdoor person, the one is right for you. GIFTWARE: It is a great gift for family or friends.
👤I have never seen a more handsome compass in my life. It is very easy to read and use. The case is made out of a medal and has a statue of liberty on it. I paid for it and can't say enough good things about it.
👤I gave it away as a gift because I liked it so much, but I bought another one for myself. A pocket watch case has a water mounted compass. It fits in a pocket very well. There is a crude copy of the New York state quarter art work on the cover and a world map on the back. Both compasses worked well. You have to hold the compass very high to get a good reading of the magnetic north. It is not bad for this kind of compass to point close to the north. It would not make a difference if there was more accuracy.
👤There seems to be a discrepancy in the images for this item. The other reviews have different pictures of the compass. I am mostly happy with this compass. The design on the lid is not something I like. It is the same as the US. New York has a statehood quarter.
👤I haven't used it yet but it seems to be accurate. I keep it in my car because I was lost in the woods and it was cloudy. I didn't have a reference to direction or cell phone service. I don't want to be in that position again. God was good to me. A couple in a pickup drove me to my destination. The compass will be with me when I travel. It is also fun. It reminds me of a grandpa's pocket watch.
👤It is easy to read. I got it because I use my phone's gps device. Southwest on a street. I didn't know which direction was from my car. I have a precise location because of the compass. I moved to a new location and have no idea where to go. This instrument seems to be precise.
👤The compass is sturdy and attractive. You can carry it with you wherever you please. The compass app on my phone needs frequent calibration and I was tired of it. I was worried about the phone battery dying down. I don't have to worry about that with this compass. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and compact compass.
👤If I had this in my pocket while walking, I would expect to find it in the correct location. It would try to realign the magnets to its north if it detected proper north 70% of the time.
👤I liked the idea of the compass and thought it was pretty accurate. Over a month later, the accuracy is completely off and the holes are flipped. I would be lost if I didn't know the direction I was going for testing.
GoCompass is a small, lightweight compass. You won't even notice it on your watchband at just 0.2 ounces. Slip-On Wrist compass is a perfect back up compass to ensure you are headed in the right direction. It's necessary for outdoor, hiking, camping, or survival gear to have an accessory. The Slip-On Wrist compass is very durable because of the housing and compass. A gift that is reliable and long lasting. A Grade A Luminous compass helps you stay on course in low-light conditions. A companion for night time adventures. Slip-On Wrist Compass is compatible with most watch bands and can be attached to homemade paracord bracelets. The compass should be put on the band for preferred placement.
👤It was exactly what I was looking for. I got it onto my 23mm wide watch band with a little lubrication. Its maxed out. The compass is clear and accurate. A large bubble has developed in the compass and the back that wraps around the band has cracked. The accuracy of the compass seems to have been unaffected. It's very sensitive to any magnitisme. The bubble is interfering with the accuracy of the compass. It's hard to read if you hold it close to your eye.
👤It slipped on my watch band easily after I ordered one. I thought it was decent and ordered two more as gifts. By then, having used it more, I figured it wasn't accurate enough. So not great. Returned the other two. I wore the original for a couple weeks and had to keep it. I think you get what you pay for. Next time, I will spend more to get a better product. I tried some things with the original one. If the compass is not on my watchband, it works. Maybe the metal in my plastic timex is thrown off. Even a small amount of metal made it inaccurate. I'll tie a piece of string through it and hang it from a button hole on my vest.
👤I don't like flashy things. I am rugged and practical. That describes the small compass. Slips onto my watch band. I want it to be where I want it to be. It's absolutely correct. Both my primary compass and gps confirmed it. It's perfect. This is the place where one can get basic and accurate information at the end of their arm. I assure you that this small compass will be of great use to you.
👤A built in compass needed to be replaced. Matched a Sun Company slip on compass with a 20mm archer watch strap. The design of the strap made it easy to replace. The Sun Company compass is more comfortable to wear than my old one and it is better. The watch looks better now than it did when it was new.
👤It works but doesn't feel right, hope it surprises me. It has. I've been pleasantly surprised by this little compass. It has proven to be more durable than I thought. The company reached out to me to see that I was happy with this purchase. This business has shown me that they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy, that is rare now.
👤You get what you payed for, because it's priced low. The watch band is too narrow and thin to fit the compass on it. This is more of a toy than a compass. I tried to get my wristwatch on because I knew it wasn't going to fit my hunting watch, but the under side cracked and it was useless to me. I might add a lanyard to it and keep it on my key chain.
👤It fits nicely on my NATO watch strap and is a decent little compass. The lume could be better. It pivots well in the enclosed liquid without any air bubbles to throw it off its reading. I used to wear a swallow compass on my dogtags as a helicopter crew chief in the Army.
Slip-On Wrist Compass is compatible with most watch bands and can be attached to homemade paracord bracelets. The compass should be put on the band for preferred placement. "Go conscious in the direction of your dreams, live the life you have imagined" is the quote from Thoreau. The copper compass is under the glass cover. The top cover of the compass has an engraved passage. A unique gift for your loved one. Father's day and Christmas gifts. A brass key ring is sent as a gift. Direct to NeoVivid is the place to order a custom design/finish compass.
👤Great work. I was impressed by the quality of this compass. It is made of a dense material that feels high quality and has a nice weight to it. The compass works well. It is an impressive piece. The quote was a huge hit with the recipient and will be a great souvenir for years to come. I did not give the leather pouch with the compass because I was not a fan of it. The pouch is nice, but I don't like the brand name being put into the leather as I think it takes away from the high quality of the package. I highly recommend!
👤The company is the best kept secret and needs more exposure. They may claim to be small, but I think they are huge. I was left feeling great at the end with a very great extra that I was not expecting, because of the quality of product, great customer service, and great extra that I was not expecting. Don't be afraid to do business with this organization. Jim-Madison is in Mississippi.
👤Our son enjoys History and the outdoors so finding this was very special to him. It was the antique look and quote that moved us, as he just moved out on his own. I had no issues with the seller, delivery, or the product, it looks like it was just like the picture. If you want to engrave copper, it's probably best to use a stamp, as it's a soft metal.
👤A co-worker is retiring after 42 years. I was looking for something that was artistic, functional, and appropriate for someone entering a new phase in their life. The size was perfect. I had to make a box to store it. I will give my son a Neovivid compass when he graduates from college. There was a small sand-timer on a keychain that could be attached to the compass, and it was perfect.
👤Arrive earlier than expected. It looks beautiful and well made. The problem is that the west and east are not the same. If facing east it says west. It still points in the wrong direction even though I went outside to see if something was blocking reading. The north and south are correct. It was bought as a gift. We will have to return it if we can't figure it out. sad face
👤I bought this for my husband. The craftsmanship is amazing. I didn't realize it was a real compass boot, but it's heavier than I thought. You can see that this is made with care and they even gave a gift for purchasing around Christmas time.
👤A finely crafted compass that is functional and looks great is an artful heirloom. I am very happy with my purchase. A compass is a great gift for someone who enjoys the outdoors.
👤I was impressed with the quality. They should include mini instructions, because it's a little confusing to open the first time. I'm not sure what it's used for, but I got a free gift of a little hourglass and it was so fast that I'm not sure what it's used for. I would recommend it to others, my husband loves it and I might get myself one for hiking.
The solar charging lens uses custom power manager modes to achieve weekslong battery life. Carry out the mission, and train with a rugged yet sophisticated watch, featuring an always-on 1.4” display with black DLC-coated bezel and nylon band. There are ski maps for 2,000 ski resorts worldwide, multi-GNSS support and advanced navigation sensors. Applied Ballistics Elite software calculates aiming solutions for long-range shooting. Jumpmaster mode, waypoint projection, dual-position format, stealth mode and kill switch are some of the tactical features.
👤I think a lot of people rate products without actually using them. If you are going to spend $1200 on a watch and not give it a review until after the honeymoon, then you should. I have had this watch for a couple months now and I am completely underwhelmed by the price. I bought it because I work in blue collar crummy conditions that ruin my glass and cause me to watch with dirt, dust, high chlorine water, herbicides and insecticides all corrosive. I don't want to charge a watch with Frequency. I am outside for 5 days a week. As I type this review, I am charging my watch. The battery life is under 21 days. I have a HR monitor that is always on, without a gps or pulse ox. The watch band is terrible. It will leave a rash if you put it on too tight in the first month. If you wear it in the shower take it off. You will get a nasty soap rash if you don't. Do not buy this watch if you want accurate altitude measurement. I don't know where garmin gets its altitude measurement maps, but they are not accurate to anything I have in my area, based off our actual elevation land study. I don't trust the heart rate monitor as it is unreliable and unreliable to other methods of measuring heart rate. The app and software calculations for the calories burned is something I wanted the most with garmin. I use it to calculate against my calories for the week to see how far I've come. I believe it to be consistent. The notifications make the watch better. I can't get my phone out of my pocket fast enough. I like to see if a text will stop me from doing what I am doing. You can make your own responses. It should have the same ability as an apple watch with phone calls and voice text. I don't think the watch is very intuitive and it could use a refresh on the OS. I don't use the app as there is so much garbage. It needs to be more tailored to what I want. I think this watch is a hot blonde. She looks good and everyone is jealous, but she's mostly useless and comes with a price tag. I give it 3 stars if you have $1200 and are impulsive.
👤It was over priced for what it would do.
👤Only charge this once every two weeks. It seems to track health metrics better than any Apple Watch. I use the maps and the gps while hunting. I haven't tried the app yet. I am very happy with this watch.
👤A beautiful designed watch that does a lot and lasts a long time. It is a bit pricey. It is well worth it. I'll have this watch for a long time. Thank you for that!
👤I only wore it for a few hours. I have a small wrist. About 150. I did a few tests on the watch and it was very accurate. It looked like a frisbee on my arm, as much as I wanted to keep it. It is big. I liked it more than the Apple Watch, but I looked like a fool wearing it. For those who can rock it, a great watch, but for small guys like me, it's a bit too much. It was a quick return. For a watch of this value.
Micro compass is a great compass for underwater navigation because it is so small that you can free up your hands. The compass has luminescent markings so it's operable in low light, and the direction is on a rotating bezel in 10 degree increments. Stay on course, the mechanical compasses made in Finland are great for Alpine skiing, hiking, trekking, mountain biking, trail running and more. Their compasses are easy to use, fast, and stable, and no batteries are required. Over 80 years of high quality heritage craftsmanship, relentless accuracy, and innovative innovation have been brought to the table by the team at Suunto.
👤I have put this compass in some tough situations. I wrote customer support after I lost the compass and dial. I was able to get it replaced because I had the receipt. Customer support has a lot of hats off to me. I asked them if they would glue the new one, but they said no. I have lost the second unit. The compass and dial were used again. I had the watch housing for both units, but they are gone. I wear it everywhere. I build stands, cut wood, shop, church and the whole gamete. I have lost both compasses. I can't recommend this compass to anyone who is very active. Is it possible that I am rough on Suunto? I can't recommend it to someone who is very active or who is not wearing it until they need it. When will that happen? It's not for preppers, bushcrafters or anyone else that would fall into that category. I am sorry, but there it is. I like the look of the dial. You have to find it to use it.
👤I clipped my wife's purse strap and the compass fell out of its sockets. The purse strap has the clip and sockets on it. See the photo. Who knows where the compass is.
👤I'm an officer of the law in Miami and I thought this would be helpful as I'm in the area that uses names instead of numbers to identify streets. I put it on my G-shock. It was helpful at first. After one month of use, it would start giving a bad reading, and then the actual compass fell out completely from the device it was placed inside. I didn't notice until I got back to my car and looked at my watch and saw an empty plastic part where the compass used to be. Being an Army vet I had grown to trust Suunto for its product reliability and ruggedness but this is simply a cheap poorly constructed tool than couldn't even hold up to average use. Very disappointed. I would have returned it, but there was nothing to send back.
👤The compass worked. I noticed it would point most anywhere but north when I showed it to someone. I moved away from buildings, held my body and everything else to make it true. I will not own one of these. You can't trust a compass that doesn't work. Returning it.
👤In the days prior toGPS, I was tested on the water and in the wilderness. I learned how to use a transparent orienting compass using the Silva 1-2-3 method, which was used by scouts and competitors alike back in the day. You put the compass down on your map, and you want to go to Las Vegas as the crow flies. I'm ignoring the magnetic offset from true north to keep this simple, but I got 48 degrees NE from the map. If you're on a lake or rock, you can use the compass to find it by holding it in your hand and looking at the "read bearing" arrow to the far away point. If you followed that, you would be headed in the right direction if you were going from LA to Las Vegas. That's what a ring is for. It would be hard to get a accurate angle/bearing with a transparent compass, it's small and hard to lay down on a map. I glue the compass into the bezel so it never falls out, because it's unmovable when it falls out. I think the device is a toy. Why do I have it? I just want to know to go NE on a road to get to las vegas if I were to drive from LA to las vegas. It's very handy to know which way is north when I plan a new route. I know which way to turn. It is correct that it worked on a flight as a passenger. It's a great backup to a gps or real compass, but it's not a good idea. It does glow in the dark and orients quickly and accurately, I love having it. Glueing it down makes it reliable.
The rubber band is soft and durable, it protects your wrist, and it is easy to wear. The size is.94inchx.94inch( 24mmx 24mm) and the compass diameter is 1/3 inch (19mm). There was a liquid filled compass. The shell design is hard. It is much more durable. It's great for emergency survival. It's ideal for making paracord bracelets. The liquid is a good match for emergancy. The Dome Top and Black Flat Bottom are easy to read.
👤If you want a bunch of compasses that will work in a pinch, these are great, but they aren't top notch quality, and aren't accurate enough to be a main compass. I put one in each of my backpacks for scenarios like, "I went out for a day hike and it ran a little longer than I thought, now the sun is going down and everything looks different in the dark, I didn't bring a "real" compass because it was just I took my mom backpacking. I gave her my compass and she dropped it, cracking the housing and mangling the needle on a rock, thanks mom, I have a mini compass stashed in my hip belt pocket. I had one that didn't work out of the box, one that didn't point North, and one or two others that didn't point North, but for this price on Amazon. The pivots are hard to avoid with something this small, but you need to be sure you can tell the difference between the needle stopping in the North or in the South. If you're willing to deal with less than exceptional pivots, then this is a good multi pack of "backup" compasses. After some research, the smallest compass I could find with good reliability reviews costs upwards of $20, and it's larger, so more obtrusive as a backup, so you're getting workable compasses for a little over $1. They're small enough to fit anywhere without being in the way. I would love to have a mini compass in my backpack, but I can't justify the cost of a device that will probably never be used. These are great if you understand what you're getting. Buy a good compass and use it when you really need it, but also buy these for a backup plan, stocking stuffer, crafting project, or whatever else.
👤I try to read as many reviews as I can so I can see if the review is honest and not just an opinion. You need to read the directions carefully and then read them again. You need to be out away from the magnetic fields if you want to get a compass. You need to find a flat surface that is level front to back and right to left. Can spin. The magnetic field on the earth is not strong enough to cause a compass to not read correctly. When I tested all 10 compasses, they all read the same magnetic North for my location. I have taken three pictures to show you the directions and the compasses reading differently in the box because they affect each other and not being level so the needle could spin freely.
👤I compared every compass in the pack to a nicer compass I have and they all pointed to the magnetic north. If you put any metal near the compass, it will point to the object rather than the magnetic north. When they are next to each other, they point in random directions, but that is not surprising as they interfere with each other.
The classic outdoor sports watch, the Suunto Core, has many intelligent features to keep you informed of conditions while you hike, bike, or camp. It's essential for adventure. This watch has dual times, a date display, and alarm, plus predicted times for sunrise and sunset to help maximize your daylight hours and a depth meter up to 30 feet. Whether you're running, swimming, cycling, gym workouts, hiking, or other outdoor sports, you'll find a watch for you in the Suunto sports watches. Their watches track your activities and sleep to help you keep up with your training and recovery. Over 80 years of high quality heritage craftsmanship, relentless accuracy, and innovative innovation have been brought to the table by the team at Suunto.
👤Buyers should be careful. A leak in the watch caused it to break in less than a year. I was told that it would cost 130 to replace it. They don't back up junk. You would get more out of your money if you lit it on fire and kept it warm.
👤I have had my core for over 6 years. This thing has been in my wrist for over 6 years. I am an enlisted military service member with 11+ years in the infantry, and I am also a firefighter/paramedic for one of the busiest departments in the country. I have abused the life out of this watch. Military deployment to Iraq and Africa has been through hell and back. It has been inside burning houses, heavy interior fire fighting inside structures, car fires, in the ocean on shallow dives, on hikes and countless other events. This watch has been around for 6 years and still running strong. I have read about straps being bad but mine has been great to me. I ripped the small strap band. I contacted the company about getting a new one and they could give me a piece for free. They wanted me to buy all the new straps for $60. I didn't want to buy a new pair of straps just for that. I made my own out of the same cord. It has been on for about 4 years without any issues. The band on this watch is said to be fragile, dry rots and cracks by the top current review. Six years later, I have not changed out my bands. They might be time for a swap but won't do it until these fail me. The battery life is good if you don't add unnecessary features. I don't need to know if the watch senses a storm or a change in pressure. When I am in the field, I turn on when I need to, but until that is off, I don't need to chirp. Do things that extend my battery life. I swap batteries about 1-2 times a year. I love this watch and will continue to wear it. I've had friends buy them for me. I get jealous when I see a new one, but wouldn't trade my broken in, scarred up, battle worn one for anything. Take a look at my pictures. I have shown no mercy to this thing. I'm currently overseas and still wearing this.
👤I loved this watch for a long time. There are great options for altitude, temp, compass, and so on. A good band and great look. The buttons on the right side of the watch were failing to spring back to their original positions after about a year. This isn't a Navy Seal situation, but rather a desk job situation. The buttons had to be manually pulled out. I am not alone in my research of this glitch. No other brands of watches have this problem. Can't recommend.
👤I've been looking at this watch for a year. The price kept me from buying something. Do I need to watch ABC? You never know when it will be useful. I thought I could return if it wasn't what I wanted. That was a lot for a watch for me. I used to buy $12 "sport" watches from Amazon and expect them to last 6 months or less. I was usually correct. I'm not a fan of all of the items in the store. I was expecting a brighter day. If you actually read the instructions, the setup is clear, logical and relatively easy. It's great look, fit and feel, and it's solid without being clunky, heavy or cumbersome, but I don't want or need a gps on my wrist. It's very accurate. I've made my profile default to barometric pressure, and I'm learning it. The storm warning works. I don't think I'll be able to return this watch. It's part of my project. I have a long way to go to learn how to access the capabilities quickly. There are many online videos. If you want an ABC watch or just curious to see what uses you can find for it, you'd be crazy to pass on this price. Most places are in the high $200s and the closest price I have seen online is around $180.
It can be made in the USA or imported.
👤I needed a watch that could keep going and take a beating. I realized I didn't have a watch that was comfortable exposing to that kind of abuse when I got a job where I am constantly getting dirty, sweating and crawling around in the dirt. What did I do? I spent a lot of time researching G shock and similar watches. I read many reviews on Amazon and watched a lot of videos. I was in deep. This is what I came up with in the end. It was like love at first sight when I opened the box, I only had it for a week. I have no worries about it being6753167531675316753167531675316753167531 Once I have broken this bad boy in, I would like to do an update review. Stay informed. I still wear this watch seven months after I got it. I work 5 out of 7 days a week. This watch has seen some things that are quite literally, as well as metaphorically. I have never once been concerned about getting this watch dirty or wet, because it is built like a tank and I have never been concerned about getting it too wet. This watch is large. There is no arguing about it. Only you can decide if that is something that will bother you. It is a fair trade off to me. Unless I have a lot of layers on, I don't care about the size. If you have a lot of layers on, most watches might feel uncomfortable and bunched up on your wrist. It's not really a big deal. I thought it was worth mentioning. I find it to be quite comfortable, even though it is larger. I have a wrist that is less than 7 inches. This watch does not affect my wrist. It is extremely accurate in its ability to keep time, and that is my favorite thing about it. I don't have to worry about changing the time or date. It is easy to read in all light and conditions. The feature where you raise and turn your wrist to turn on the backlight is particularly useful. I almost never have to use that feature. Press any of the buttons. There are a lot of features on this watch. I don't use a compass or a thermometer. I don't use them. The moon phase icon is the same. It is cool to have it there, but I don't use it very often. It is tucked away to the side and out of the way. The second hand icon is pretty cool, but I think it is just that. Adding a little wonder to the face of the watch is what it does. I find myself staring at it sometimes. This watch is powered by the sun. The battery has mostly stayed on High since I had it, with only dropping down to Medium over the past month or so. I've never set it out in the sun to replenish it. I might do that some time. I am happy with my purchase, and I plan on updating my review later on. Cheers!
The solar powered MultisportGPS watch uses the sun's energy to extend battery life and assure more on-wrist time for off-grid activities. This is not a medical device and is not intended for use in the diagnosis or monitoring of any medical condition. There are advanced training features that include pace guidance, VO2 max, and training status estimates. There are over 2,000 worldwide ski resorts, multiple global navigation satellite system (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) support and built-in sensors for 3- axis compass, barometric altimeter, and preloaded TOPO maps. Not all countries and payment networks are eligible for support for Garmin Pay, music storage with premium streaming service, and more. The internal, rechargeable battery provides up to 21 days of battery life in smart watch mode with an additional 3 days when solar charging, and 15 hours in gps mode with an additional hour when solar charging is used in 50,000 lux conditions.
👤This is amazing, it came from an Apple watch series 4. Both of them have their purposes. The watch has held up well in Iraq. A solid watch with great battery life, build quality, reliability, and useful features. I would buy another one just for formal use, it can be a fancy watch or a duty watch.
👤After 2 weeks, I can say it was well worth the $700+ price tag. The ability to put my audiobooks on my watch is my favorite feature. This was a must because I don't like carrying my phone around. The battery life, button control, and solid feel of the watch made me buy the Fenix, even though other models also offer this feature. The default watch face is gorgeous. I like the ability to put it into power saving mode very quickly. All watches do that, so I won't say anything except that it has everything I need and more. I had to take two stars off the app because it is awful. Sometimes it fails when I want to transfer my Audiobooks. Sometimes it doesn't find the watch. It doesn't see my audiobook as being on the device after I transfer it.
👤The Fenix X Pro is not worth the price because the supporting software is junk. It does the basics of a watch very well, but the whistles and beeps that I paid for seem like they were from a version of the tv show. There is a navigation. I bought this watch to use on the trail. I would expect it to default to trails when in hike mode. It tracked to the nearest road nearly half the time, and a few times it followed the interstate. It is clear that the Fenix recognized the trail because it would backtrack several miles along the trail to get to a road, then find the trail again for the final miles to the desired point. If I chose to avoid roads, it did. It would go hundreds of miles out of the way to reach the waypoint. There is a The fenix navigation calculations were not accurate. Every time I stopped, the estimate would become more and more inaccurate because it was based on elapsed time. The hike would average in paused time even after I paused it. Climb pro. This tool is a joke. ClimbPro appears to calculate its own route without a link to where I was hiking, rather than following the map or climb profile. ClimbPro would show a descent, but I would climb for several miles. I would get to the top, but the distance and elevation would not shift to the next segment for up to a mile. The redundant calculations caused the battery to deplete 50% quicker and occasionally freeze up, which is the worst part. Time is moving. When in the dense woods, it was inevitable that the gps would drop out. The moving time was much faster than I ever hiked, because the miles covered during the drop were not counted by the Fenix. There is a The instructions for the echo system are not good. It's easier to ask questions on the internet than it is to get anything from Garmin. The improved heart rate monitor is marginally more accurate than the vivoactive 3 and the pulse ox is not very good. Even with the band pulled snug, it doesn't record well even if you wanted to take the battery hit continuously. You have to hold it and keep it motionless for a minute, which is also hit or miss. The maps are easy to read but hard to navigate, which is the downside of no touch screen. If you don't have a phone, they are ok, but don't replace the phone map apps. I used the maps on my hike to conserve phone battery life. There are limited choices of paid services with music. There is no practical way to load audiobooks. It's easy to access the music controls and I can use my head phones to do it. There is a The min, max are not practical if I take it off and lay it in the shade. I used a device that recorded the min/max of the activity, rather than the min/max that it displayed.
No problem with a 50M waterproof, shower, and shower. 5ATM is water resistant. Also, note: Do not press buttons in the water. There are multiple functions. Timekeeping, World Time, 3 Alarm, Stop Watch, and 50m waterproof are included. The large numbers are easy to read and have a chime hourly. The rubber band is soft and durable, it protects your wrist, and it is easy to wear.
👤This thing is amazing. The look and feel of it makes me happy. It's mostly useless for the average person, but very useful if needed. You will need to calibrate the compass to work, but this can be done automatically, and you can turn the watch in a circle twice. I've never had a watch with a timer before, but I love how many features this watch has. It's probably hard to program anything with this many features when you only have 4 buttons to use. I'll probably need the manual again, but this is the first watch that I'll be sure to keep. There is a swimmer symbol on both sides of the band next to the watch face. I know the watch is waterproof, but I don't need people to think I'm a professional swimmer. The watch is not as bright for the display. The image has the backlight on. It's a bit darker than I'm used to, but it's still readable. The dark background color is great for the watch. I'm very impressed with the feel and features of this watch, and it's for less than $20! It would be a great Christmas gift. If this watch lasts, I'll update my review just in case. I will be wearing this watch everywhere.
👤It is about to give out. As I was taking a shower, the light turned on and never turned off, so I guess we know how long the battery will last. The time is not changing and the light is slowly fading. I thought the watch would last longer. It's time to look for another one.
👤I can't change time anymore. I can't find online instructions to make sure I'm doing it right. The buttons are too large. When not in use, I take my watch off and put it in my pocket or bag. No matter how I handle my bag, a few buttons get pressed and you can hear the beep. I'm not buying this watch again. January 2020 was bought. I bought it because I volunteer to ref kids soccer. It has a timer. I needed a timer that sounded an alarm when it reached zero. My watch doesn't have that. I bought this watch because of this. When you set the timer for 25 minutes for 10 year olds and under soccer league, it flips back to the clock screen after a few seconds, which is a problem. I don't know how to turn off this so it doesn't go off. I have to press the mode button a few times to get me back to the timer so I can play. I missed a throw-in foul because I looked at my watch and realized it was on the regular time screen, and had to push the button a few times to see the timer. If you're a referee looking for a timer, I would only find it if it goes back to the main screen. Every time you press the mode button, you are making it worse. Pros: looks good on the wrist, easy to read display, and sturdy.
Solar power, Silicon band, Direction Bezel, Mineral Glass, Black IP, 200-meter water resistance,LED Backlight. Calibration signals, digital compass, barometer, and full auto-calendar are low-temperature resistant. Water resistant 200m is suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not diving. The display range is 260 to 1,100 hPa (7.65 to 32.45 inHg). The graph shows the atmospheric pressure over the past 42 hours. The Barometric pressure tendency information alarm shows significant changes in pressure.
👤I have owned dozens of G-Shock watches and this is my first ProTrek so I am going to compare this watch to my G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000-1A3 which is a phenomenal analog watch with a black and green strap. The Mudmaster is a large watch, but I prefer my larger firearms and hands. The Mudmaster and ProTrek are the same color. I did research on the watch and found some discrepancies in the colors. It is a dark OD green color, which I wanted. The watch is larger than the Mudmaster. It is light and comfortable to wear. The band is flexible. A dive watch has a single direction, but the bezel rotates both directions. It rotates smoothly, unlike when you click it. The screen is amazing. The biggest complaint I have with most models of the G-Shock is that the numbers and information on the screen are often small. The information on the screen is easy to read. This is the clearest negative display I have ever seen. It's easy to read from almost any angle. The only thing I'm worried about is that it will scratch easily and look bad, but only time will tell. I stopped wearing my black Suunto Core because the paint was starting to wear off and it was hitting things. The G-Shocks excel in that area due to their material. My watches are exposed to a lot of physical abuse, as well as dust, mud, rain, and snow. My watches are often submerged in water. The G-Shocks hold up in the same way.
👤I have owned a few analog solar watches from the same brand as this one. This is my first time using a time watch. The features of the Protrek line make me happy. The blacked out screen has clear numbers. I look great in your wrist! The auto-on feature is helpful in the dark and the backlight is bright. The OD band was the only thing I didn't like. I switched it out for a black strap. You can see from the pictures that the band matches the watch well. I am thinking of getting another band with red stripes to complement the red accents on the watch. The watch is going to last me a long time.
👤It has been done again by Casio. The negative display has been improved. It's called STN, which means super-twisted nematic. It requires less power than other displays. The dot matrix display is visible in bright or dark environments with or without the led backlight. I like the option for the duration to be from 1 to 3 seconds. The information on the display can be seen from many angles. It is what I have always wanted in a blacked out screen. The color combination of black and red, and army green band, is stealth military presence at its best. For its size, the watch is light. It has become my favorite protrek of all time. The triple sensor is the newest version of the technology. It is a must-have accessory for outdoor enthusiasts because it is getting more accurate and faster. I am very happy with this purchase.
