Fresh doesn't expire. 1200 vertical drops per 2 oz. container 3-6 drops per liter of water is enough to make a water purifier. Keep out of the sun. No need to keep it cool. During the summer months, products may arrive warm but Amazon stores and ships products in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. It is always fresh. 1200 vertical drops per 2 oz container.
👤People, do your own research before you buy this product. I've been using this product for weeks and have had no problems. I've felt amazing taking it. There are people who are paid to speak ill of natural remedies and other positive things that make daily life better. These people will try to convince you to look the other way. Everyone should understand this. Do your own research. Be healthy. And love. Thank you all.
👤I have suspected for a while that drinking tap water was the reason I have never really dreamed at night. I started with a few drops after ordering this stuff a year ago. It floors you after a lifetime of taking bromide and fluoride. I have been working to decalcify my pineal gland ever since I had vivid dreams about it. I dream at least a few times per week. Both vaccines and fluoride are harmful.
👤Many doctors don't know how important it is. I've been using this for 6 months and one symptom that lasted over a year has completely disappeared after I started taking this. I contacted Lugol's after reading reviews about the density and safety issues of the iodine they sell in Amazon. Storage may affect the color. The one piece cap we use shows a ring that separates when you open the bottle and falls to the shoulder of the bottle. We know all the Amazon sellers. They store in bins and not upright. The product is guaranteed for the life of the bottle. I told them that there was nothing that fell upon opening my bottle. It's possible that the ring did not disengage, but usually it separates from the cap. * The Amazon sellers of this iodine seem to change quickly. I trust Lugol's claim that Iodine is effective for a lot of problems. Most of us are deficient. I take 3 drops in the morning to wake you up. I use Himalayan salt to reduce side effects of my Selenium supplement. I didn't have a lot of side effect, but I got very sleepy. If you get headaches, skin disorder, fatigue, or both, reduce the amount and if needed gradually increase it. If you have a KIDNEY issue, you should not take more than a single drop, but I understand that overtaking iodine causes health issues. My mom who has a problem with the kidneys takes only 1 drop a day, and her high blood pressure started to go down soon after. * Please do this on your own. Hope this information is useful.
👤If you have done your research on the internet, you will see a lot of hype about the fact that we don't have enough iodine in our diet. Guess what? They are correct. I just had my blood work done and it said my thyroid was fine. I started taking one drop per day in a glass of water after ordering this product. I am up to three drops per day now. I don't get a cold or sick. I lost 10 pounds and am in great shape. My wife is taking a small amount of medicine. She has lost 20 pounds and is healthy. I feel that there is a missing link in our diet.

Relief of menstrual pain, as well as relief of muscle aches, and pains from the common cold, can be achieved with a variety of medicine, including headaches, back pain, joint pain, and minor arthritis pain relief. Advil tablets are easy to swallow and provide relief for up to 6 hours. For adults and children 12 years and older, there are a number of pain relief and medicine options. If you don't feel better after taking one tablet every 4 to 6 hours, you can take two tablets. The product is eligible for both theHSA and theFSA.
👤Advil can get too intense for back pain. I think Advil is a better choice for me as it is not as hard on my body. It helped with the pain. It makes a world of difference if I take it with a good supplement. Advil helped manage the pain better than usual. According to some of the info I read, theTurmeric can act as a liver protector and help with the inflammation.
👤Having short nails didn't help me tear the package open, I was very frustrated at first. If I needed scissors to open my travel packs, what was the point? I figured it out. The corner has an arrow and a dotted line. If you look closely, you'll see a small crease in the middle of the perforation. You can see through the perforation if you fold it back and front. Now you're ready to open it.
👤I had to get my first aid kits. I live on-the-go and pill bottles don't cut it. The brand was cheaper than generic versions. It's nice to get the more expensive version for the first time. I bought some non-aspirin packets and the packaging didn't inspire much confidence, both with lessDurability and less info on it. See the picture for comparison. My box came with 51 packets. It's nice to know that they'll make the right decision. I find the date to be acceptable, as it was 10 months from when I received it. The convenience of the packets, as well as the design of the box they came in, are what I like the most. The packets have all the information on them. There are warnings, contraindications, side effects, and usage guidelines. I feel confident tossing the box. We will definitely buy more when we run low again.
👤A box of individual packets is what one would expect. There are 2 capsule in each packet. I received this in January of last year and it has a January 2020 expiration date printed on the outer box. We will use these in our house, my husband's shop, and individual emergency medical kit I made for each family member in an Altoid container. I don't have to carry around a container of pills because they are perfect. I like buying individual packets. They are easy to give to people when they need one and simple to replace when you get home.
👤These were added to the welcome bags for our guests. This bag is perfect for fitting in. Would definitely do so again.
👤I know the title makes it sound like I fed it to my kids, but that's not the case. As a parent, I'm constantly running around and end up in situations where I'm not taking care of myself and I end up with headaches. I'm getting old and I just bang myself. Do you know how hard it is to keep up with kids? My joints are not the same as they were when I was 18. I pop an Advil and move on. I can tell visitors to grab it without getting their fingers in the jar because of the convenience of the packaging. It's convenient to bring a few for travel. Highly recommended!
Can draw from almost any fresh water source. The water is lightweight and extremely compact. Individual sachets are ideal for storage. 60 ft3 (1.70 m3) is the pallet volume. It's easy to put in a survival kit with a pre-measured sachet. Such, Canadian Coast guard, EC and New Zealand approval.
👤I am a prepper nerd and I have been checking the water being sold in these small pouches. Many are just tap water and bags. The total dissolved solids are referred to as theTDS. I have seen a range from 100-300 parts per million. The water is pure. I did a simple test here and the lab tested it and both came out as 4 parts per million. The purity of the water is 10 parts per million. The soft taste and slightly acidic PH of around 5 is what Reverse Osmosis Water has been heavily Filters through for taste. Very happy with the package.
👤I received a case of water with an expired date on it. The bottom of the box was wet, so I knew we had a leak when I put the case with my emergency storage. When I opened the case to look for the leaking packet of water, I found that all but 19 of the 64 packs had expired by the time I received the package. The other 19 were older. They had a date in the future. One of the 2 water paks that were unexpired had a leak. It was as if this company tried to hide the expired water in a different case and then placed enough paks over the top of those to try to pass it off as okay. They would have fooled me if one of the packs had not leaked. This company was dishonest.
👤We bought a box of these to distribute among our bags. We haven't tasted it yet, but we hope we never have. It doesn't sound romantic to drink out of a plastic packet. I'm happy to have it. It looks like it's a great backup for water in your house, car, bug out bags, whatever you can think of. Many of them come in a box and are very affordable. If you need some water in an emergency, you can distribute them among the various areas of your life. The packets are very lightweight and durable. I think it's very sturdy and should be cut with a knife to puncture it. They arrived quickly, packaged well and were a good value. We are looking forward to never using them. My wife and I found this one to be the best emergency water out there, but there are many other brands, and you can find a different one that you like better. Other options include water tablets, water bottles, and so on. Depending on your circumstances, you may want to look at other options. I am very happy with what we received and I look forward to never having to use them.
👤This is a big part of my bags and I want to give it 5 stars. There were two pouches inside the box. There were no visible tears or cuts on the bags, they just leaked out of the seals. The book that Amazon had packed in the same box was damaged when the water leaked out of the box. They were packing a book in the same box as a case of water. The water in the undamaged pouch is fine. The one I opened was packed in the year of 2017: it was fresh and clean.
The camping hammock has everything you need to stay comfortable, whether you're relaxing by the fire or sleeping under the stars, it has everything you need to stay covered throughout the night for your next camping trip. The travel hammock folds to the size of an eggplant and is lightweight and convenient. The Single Hammock is 9 feet long by 4.5 feet wide for one person, and the Double Hammock is 10 feet long by 6.5 feet wide for two or more people. Throw it in your backpack. Setting up a tree hammock is easy with two 9ft long tree straps and carabiners. You can adjust it to the perfect height with 5 separate loops. The Double hammock can hold up to 500 lbs. The hammocks for camping are made with soft yet strong parachute nylon and triple interlocking stitching, along with strong carabiners and tree friendly hammock straps. They recommend removing the carabiners first so you don't damage your washer. It is best to hang it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer after adding a small amount of soap. The camping hammock is a camping gear that must be had by the adventurer in your life.
👤I thought I was buying an American made product from all the reviews I read, but it's just like every other product I've read, it's made in China, but it's considered to be very well made. I changed out the heavy steel caribiners for the 4 alloy wire gate one's after using it for a day and a half, and they worked well, put me down. She sent me 2 wire gate alloy one's after reading my review, now that's a customer service problem. Thanks to Lauren and Wise Owl... Thank you again.
👤I missed out on practicality and comfort when I went hammock camping. I bought the single owl almost 2 years ago and only tried it once last year. I would consider the rain tarp and bug net a necessity for any camping trip, I purchased them as well. I had to use a yoga mat because I couldn't get an airpad in time for my trip. I recommend using something for the bottom layer. Even though the night temperature did not fall below 74F, it can still get a bit chilly in the hammock. There is a The ease of setting up was my favorite part. I got to the campground at 1am with limited lighting and all of my items were up in less than 15 minutes. Without ever trying the whole set up before. During a day time shower, the rain tarp kept everything dry. I haven't had a rainy night yet to try it out. The bug net is a life saver. I believe that mosquitoes can't bite through the bottom or side of the set up because of the layers. I wanted to make sure I got everything from one company when I looked at the hammock. I was impressed with the variety of products, the continuous drive to improve and the great quality of what they offer. I want to see if the lightweight hammock is durable and comfortable as I like to carry less weight on weekend trips. Happy camping!
👤I usually don't leave reviews, but this hammock deserves to be recognized. If you're over 6'2", you will not be disappointed if you buy this hammock right now, because you will not want to read the whole review. I don't think you'll ever be able to find a hammock that's as good as the one at the price. There are two things that should be kept in mind before moving forward. This is my first hammock. I have only had the hammock for a few weeks so my time with it is limited. I have a Grand Trunk double that I have had for nearly a year and I will be comparing it to the Wise Owl. My friends have ENO's, so I'm familiar with them as well. The quality of the build is 5/5. The stitching on this hammock is excellent, there were no corners cut when constructing it. The colors are top notch, like the pictures that are posted here on Amazon. The hammock colors may look better in person. It's hard to say which is built better, due to the relative newness of the Wise Owl. When my GT first arrived, there was some wear at the end of the parachute where the material ends and the cords are exposed. The strength of the GT has not been affected by the fraying. I've taken it backpacking in Colorado and Michigan and allowed my younger cousins to play in it and the GT still doesn't have much as a snag or run in the material, but at a price tag I would expect better craftsmanship out of the box. The cheaper WO is just as strong and durable as the GT, and my hanging experience with it so far indicates that, even though it is cheaper, it is still as good as the GT. I've had a total of 340 lbs in the GT with no issues, and I've had appox. The hammock remained solid despite the sway despite the 20mph winds and 30mph gust. The commission will be held on 3/6. My size comes into play here. I'm a 6'4" male with a weight of 215 lbs and it was very tight. The material of the hammock is exactly what you'd expect from other mid-range hammocks, but this WO hammock only costs $26 so you're getting quality material at a 1/2 or 1/3 of the cost. The material is soft and comfortable. I can hear it now, but is it as soft and comfy as my ENO? The material was just as comfortable as an ENO. The 3 girls who were stacked 3 ENO's high next to me all agreed that they were mad that they bought their ENO's after I asked each of them to try mine so I could have their opinion. They weren't angry because their ENO was uncomfortable, but because they could get the same level of comfort for half the price. I took off a star and rated the comfort a 3 because I am a large person and my shoulders were being forced inwards towards my chest in nearly every position I laid in, which really ruins the experience for me. It's not fair to compare the two because my GT double had no space issues. The GT double has the same dimensions as the WO double. It would be just as luxurious. Is there other hammocks that are cheaper? Yeah. Is the other cheaper brands as good? It's hard to say, I haven't used their products. I have found no other company that offers such a high quality product with such a wide variety of color options at the price point that Wise Owl is at. I don't see any reason to buy another brand. If you're in the market for a double, don't hesitate and buy a Wise Owl double. When I'm in the market for a new double, I will. If you're a girl or a guy under 180 lbs, the single will work for you. If you're around my size and need a single, I recommend the Grand Trunk single. The GT single is more expensive, but you get 6 extra inches of width which is worth it. If you're reading this, please make a single XL that gives an extra 6 inches or foot of width, make it 30 or 35 dollars, and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
It measures 10-1-5 by 5-1-5 by 4 inches. Get what you need in a professional camping kit. The kit includes: a personal water filter straw, a multi-functional tool, a first aid tourniquet, a wire saw, an emergency blanket, a flashlight, a band-aids whistle, and a fishing card. The upgrade hard case can hold all items. The water filter straw can remove harmful substance. The smallest solid particles are found in the environment. It is helpful to reduce plastic water bottles using the water filter. A good partner for disaster water supply. The camping kit case is portable and lightweight, with a weight of only 1.28 pounds. It is easy to put it in a backpack. The water filter straw provides clean water, the multi function tools can quickly cutting branches, and the emergency blankets can retain 90% of body heat. All items are packaged in a good quality box. It's a good gift for fathers day, Christmas, new year, and other special days. It is a perfect gift for Dad Men Father Boyfriend.
👤I like to be prepared and this kit looked like a good lightweight addition to my pack. In my video, I show you everything. There is a small black bag that holds everything. Everything seems to be in working order. The kit has a filter straw in it.
👤A good knife, a spork/opener, and a pen are included in the kit. There are fire starter, filter straw, and more. The pieces are well designed and seem sturdy, but this is not a complete kit. The flashlight case is too big for a AA battery. It's probably smaller than a 18500 battery, but you can easily adapt it to use AA batteries. I wrapped a layer of Moleskin around it. It will be safe and dry in the flashlight if you have moleskin around.
👤The survival kit arrived on time. We used most of it this past weekend to see if it works. Yes, it does. My boys started a fire with the flint, we cut small limbs with a saw and used a knife for many applications. This set is worth a lot of money. Some of the ware on the tested products are shown in the pics. We have more to try on our next camping trip. Enjoy and thank you!
👤This was a perfect gift for my son. He enjoyed opening it and seeing the items. He thought about how he would use each implement. We thought the flashlight's battery was missing a part. It works so don't be confused. It requires a AA. It is a win. Two whistles that aren't loud, one goes on your key ring, but they do the trick. To be prepared!
👤You get what you pay for, with no instructions, nothing to tell you what to do, and not everyone is a master of the outdoors. The all in one tool is a perfect size but the finish is rough. The knife has everything I wanted, but it feels cheap. The mini flashlight is the worst part of the kit. They didn't grind the inside enough and the battery didn't fit. This has nothing to do with the seller. There are some things that I would change to make it a better kit. The value is great. I wanted to point out a few things that could be better, so I would recommend it.
👤You can't beat this for the money, I'm an emergency supply collector. You can put everything in the velvet case. A personal water straw, a durable foldable knife with case, 2 flash lights, emergency blanket, Paracord with compass, a spoon/fork combo fire starter/striker, whistle, multitool can opener, and more are included. I'll be buying gifts for these kids.
👤It is a good quality kit. A good knife. The limb cutting saw iscent. A good fire starter. A good pen, glass breaker, and defense tool. The straw has 2 good accessories. The contents are good. If you don't already have a storage bag, get one that is visible and easy to access. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
Their survival kits are suitable for birthday gifts or Christmas presents for dads, boyfriends, or children. They want you to love your purchase. They will give you a replacement or full refund if you are not satisfied. The 'Just in Case' Food Supply, The Survival Tabs, and the Bugout Food are backup for situations such as natural disasters. This is the best food in the smallest amount. When facing uncertainty, the body needs all the daily essential vitamins and minerals. The design is small and easy to store. The Bugout food contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals. It is made with the highest quality meat. GLUTEN free and non-GMO. This calculation is based on one average person. Consumption requirements can be different from person to person. The flavor is mixed. There are 4 x 180 tablets. 20 calories per tab for 12 chewable tablets. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D.
👤How many tabs do you have? More like 180 and won't answer my messages.
👤I received one of the containers. For one container, it's $150. Hope you correct the mistake.
👤The description says there are 4 bottles. I received 3 bottles and 540 tabs. I was going to buy more if I liked these, because it's a simple way to prepare for emergencies and it has a long shelf life, but I was shorted an entire bottle.
👤This will be a great back up for any emergency. Natural disasters, stranded somewhere, or anything else can happen in this day and age. I laughed at a reviewer who was complaining about the daily calories. Something is better than nothing in an emergency. It's not a gourmet meal, but it's a great back-up for either nothing or filling in on limited food choices you may have in your pantry, as well as being a great way to meet your daily calories intake. In an emergency, you will have to use what you have on hand, and this is just another reassurance you can have somewhere in your home, or even take while camping for weeks on end in the middle of no where! This is a great addition to anyone who cares about preparing for an emergency, or just doesn't want to be taken by surprise in the event of an emergency. The Red Cross believes in a few days of preparation. Does it matter how it tastes if you are desperate?
👤Not bad. I tried a few. I can't say the flavor is exactly as described, but I can see how they'll help you feel like you've eaten something, even if you don't have vitamins or minerals.
👤I bought these for a worst case scenario to have the key minerals and ingredients. For 15 days, each container has 100 percent of your key nutrients. It's definitely expensive but it's cheaper than freeze dried food as I have quite a few of these and ramen for pure empty calories. I think they taste really good. It's a key component to any survivalist.
👤If this keeps 25 years, I think you'd need more than that to survive, but it works for me. They tasted really good when I tried them. You would need about 3 times the ration per day. They don't take a lot of space. I'll buy a few.
👤I only received a 30 day supply of survival tabs after ordering a 60 day supply. I paid 158 dollars for a 60 day supply.
👤Good product. It took a long time to get here. Canada customs is to blame for that.
The Safier Survival tool is FDA, EPA and Food-grade materials that ensure drinking water safety. An ideal tool for many purposes, such as backpacking gear, hiking gear, travel accessories, camping safety & survival equipment and emergency preparedness items. The hiking water filter is a great gift for hikers. Military-grade water purification pumps remove all the harmful organisms from water sources all over the world. The fibers used to provide protection from the smallest waterborne threats are medical grade. The pumps can treat up to 10,000 liters of water at a rapid 2.5 liters per minute. No backflushing or filter-scrubbing ever required with the pump self-cleans, it provides consistently fast flow rates with zero hassle. The purifier pump is made in the USA and is ideal for backpacking, expeditions, global travel, and survival.
👤We took two people on a canoeing trip down the R Nahanni in the NW Territories as we were assured by various retailers' advice that it would be the best purifier bar none. We were reassured that the Guardian would be able to deal with the silt in the river, despite the fact that they advertised that it would be a problem. Considering the high cost of these devices compared to the alternatives, this was a significant investment for us. The purifiers worked as expected for the first ten days, but the throughput declined from 25s to 40s. On day 10, Guardian sheared it's pin-piston attachment, rendering it unrepairable, as has been reported by other purchasers. We are in a difficult position with significant distance yet to travel because of the failure of the other purifier the next morning. The pin-piston attachment point is very heavy loaded due to resistance. This resistance is counteracted by a long lever provided by theMSR. The plastic pin-piston attachment is not strong enough to endure repeated loading and will fail due to stress and fatigue according to an engineer on our trip. Our engineer believes that the Guardian's rapid clogged up added to the resistance, speeded fatigue and hastened failure. We are very disappointed with the high price and claims made for this purifier. Other trip members were going to purchase one, but they are not now. The underlying problem of a weak attachment point is not fixed by sending a replacement pin for one of the devices. We have yet to hear from the company about the failures.
👤The filter is very large. It's not going to solve every problem, but it is what I wanted it to be. I relate to the idea that tight is the best. I used a bottle to test it. I don't use bottles so I don't really care about that, but if you overtighten the filter assembly it will cause the unit to leak, like bad. The Camelback container is similar to the Niagen bottle. I used it by hand and it began leaking after that. I regretted my purchase and gave away my Sweetwater. After receiving a response from the support team, I realized that there was a cut out that needed to be aligned and that the base was probably causing an over pressurization within, which causes water to go past the o-ring on the filter base. Problem solved. 5 gallons and no leaks. Awesome filter once again. My mistake was my head. You will see where to align it once you notice the cut out. Don't be like me.
👤I reviewed a lot of marketing videos and was convinced that this product was what I wanted. There was only one negative review that stated the product was leaking. When I received the filter, I loved it. The concept is. I loosened the base of the filter after testing it several times. No big deal, right? If you have to replace the filter, you have to remove the base and install it again. The filter base "o-ring" wouldn't seal properly and that would cause a leak. I tried tightening and it seemed to make the problem worse. The attached video has a note attached. I explained the problem and submitted my video to them. They were very helpful. The CSR called me back to assist me further. They mentioned that this o-ring can be difficult if you don't tighten it correctly or if you tighten it too tight. My experience is that once the seal is compromised it won't work. I sealed the o-ring with petroleum jelly to fix the problem. If the product fails in an emergency, what should you do? Is it possible to bring Vaseline? They admitted that this is a weak link with the product and immediately offered to send me extra o-rings and a maintenance kit to see if that helps. They gave me the option of trying it out on our upcoming backpacking trip, if I was still dissatisfied, and they would refund my money. That is wonderful and appreciated! Once the o-ring leakage problem is fixed, I think this will be a superb product. Give them 6 months or so to correct. I really appreciate how they are working with me to correct the problem while allowing me to test it out on my trip. Would I recommend purchasing this product in the future? Yes! They need to correct the o-ring issue.

👤I keep my first aid kit in the house and in each vehicle. I had to replace the one in my house because I didn't have any burn cream or anything left in my First Aid Kit. Burn cream, benadryl, tylenol and any of the basic over the counter items you expect to be in a first aid kit are not included in this 300 piece First Aid Kit. Don't put this in a vehicle and expect to have everything you need when something happens. I am very disappointed. I can buy a box of bandaids, but the majority of what is in here is bandaids.
👤This product is amazing. My Dad asked me to research first aid kits for his Jeep because I am a nurse. The amount of supplies it came with was very impressive. I decided to purchase an additional kit to leave in the family vacation home should there be a need. After recirculating them, I received an email from the company with a PDF of basic first-aid instructions. After reading through and finding it to be helpful to someone without first-aid knowledge, I thought it might be a good idea to print off the PDF, laminated and attach to a keychain to have on hand for anyone in the Jeep or vacation house to use. The result and the first-aid kits made my Dad happy. Thank you for making a great product. I would have liked to have gotten a kit for myself. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
👤It's a great emergency kit. It is worth the cost to have it in your car, home, boat or whatever. It will do the trick as a first aid kit. It is not comprehensive but if you are an EMT you will be able to do this until an EMT or Paramedic can get to you.
👤Great kit! A lot of dogs are in my care. My current one had a leg amputation and developed a lot of problems, including a hematoma and excessive bleeding. This kit saved his life. I was able to apply pressure to the bleeding until I could get him to the emergency vet. I got this at the right time and will be ordering a few more for the car and house.
👤The product is under 5 stars. It is a good start for a comprehensive first aid kit. The scissors and the tweezers are made of cheap metal and that's why I took off the point. The rounded ends of the scissors make it difficult to cut heavier paper. I will replace them with better quality items. I have also added an array of bandages and seals to the kit. I would buy again and add one to my car.
👤A collection of useful first aid items is perfect for most needs. My plan is to keep it in the trunk of my car, just in case. I use the emergency supplies a lot. When you're at a state park, the only facility is an unstocked portapotty, and you have a roll of TP and bottle of hand sanitizer. This package has a great selection of basic items, as well as some "WOW, I hope I don't ever need that" stuff. The kit is at a reasonable price because the manufacturer put a lot of thought into it.
You can use this backpack for school, travel, or a military tactical assault rucksack. It can be used for any backpack situation. You will love having so many different places to put your stuff. It has a hydration compartment. There are lots of places to store and organize your life. The pack has 3 days worth of clothes and other essentials. A backpack for combat, range, survival or hunting. It is impervious to water. You can shrink it down to a smaller bag if you don't need the extra room or expand it to 5 inches deeper if you need more gear. Their backpack will impress you. It can be made into a bug out bag or a 72 hour emergency kit. It is tear resistant with 600 denier polyester and great straps. When you are not hiking, camping or trekking, the waist strap is not necessary. 40 lbs can easily be handled internally. The capacity of 39 to the expanded 64 liters is only weighed 3.6 pounds. 👤This is a bug out bag. I picked this one up to carry a tarp, some ground cloth, and a full variety of survival items because my Maxpedition Sitka couldn't hold all of them. The bag is large, if you want it to be. It can be expanded to a point where you can overfill it. I was surprised how much I was able to put in. I still have room for more 5 stars because of all the stuff I put into it. The MOLLE is on the side of the pack. It's useless. If the MOLLE were horizontal, I have a couple of knives with sheaths that could be put there. The elastic cord is on the back of the pack. 0 stars for that. I thought about returning it for that reason alone, but since the pack is so large, I can live with it as is. The water bottle holder is very thin and flimsy, it won't hold up to much use. 2 stars for that. The hardware, straps, and zippers seem to be in good shape. I don't think these are as good as a Maxpedition pack, but you're not paying the same price. If not abused, these should hold up. 3.5 stars for these. If you are careful with the zippers, they will likely remain good. When compared to uniform colors, the color listed is not a true MultiCAM. I was surprised to find two small pouches attached to the back pack shoulder straps, because it's just a color and no cigar. One of them has a pseudo MOLLE attachment, the other does not. If you want a small flashlight or multi-tool, they just dangle off the backpack straps, unless you use a zip tie to secure them. It was not a thoughtful application. It's not bad at all and would be a good bag for a sub $40 price. Put everything you think you need in it and hope you never use it. I'm not sure if it will last long if used frequently. Put it on after loading it with 25 lbs of junk. It can be adjusted to fit an average sized adult.
👤The video is for pack breakdown. The first couple minutes are the review. It's a good thing. It's perfect for the price point and will work for most people. The canvas should last a long time. Storage pockets are large and will hold a lot of stuff. It is easy to open the expandable feature. It is comfortable to wear, even full, because of the chest and waist strap and padding shoulder area. The most important areas have rubber lining. The materials and inner lining are very thin. It's going to be very hard to use. This needs to be fixed for a small amount of money. Plastic is used in the Rings, zippers, and buckles. It would be a major step up in quality if metal were used. Understand who this pack is for, weekend campers or an emergency backpack. If you're expecting to use this pack more than just on the weekends, or occasional use, you'll want a higher quality pack with metal buckles and zippers. This pack will work well for most people, but it's designed to last for years, so it's not for everyone. It's a steal for the occasional use. It's definitely recommended for the right person.
The portable life water filter straw is small, light and has an exquisite lanyard, perfect for the Go bag or backup for camping. Reducing the amount of plastic waste. There is a pack of 20 Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Water Purification Tablets. Giardia lamblia is effective against cysts. Emergency water purification for camping and hiking. Allow 4 hours for treatment after adding one of the water purifying tablets to a quart of water. The water bottle purifying tablets have a higher capacity than chlorine.
👤There are two separate conditions. I have given others poison ivy infections. The first treatment works. The treatment of poison ivy is difficult. It can cost a lot to use effective lotion. The cost of chlorine dioxide tablets is pennies per dose. A friend of mine had a respiratory condition that seemed to be getting worse. Gave him a standard dose. Didn't hear back for a while. He said it was gone that night. You can accept or reject it. Not my problem. I use it for puncture wounds. healing follows naturally if you never got an infection. There are many OTC creams available. This is added to the list.
👤I have been drinking reverse osmosis water for several years. Every day I carry two or three liters of it to work with. The tap water is not fluoridated. The water from the tap is good and the water from the RO is great. I decided to test the tablets out with RO water to see if they affect the taste of the water and if I have an adverse reaction to drinking it. My Results Tablets were not close to their expiration date. Tablets are easy to use and can be dissolved in about four minutes. I used both glass and steel bottles for my tablets, following directions. While tablets are dissolving a stream of bubbles rise from it and create a chlorine odor. The water in the bottles was clear and white, but a little yellow and brown after treatment. The water tastes like tap water after ten minutes. I have tasted worse in many places. The taste is still highly chlorinated 36 hours later. In the past 36 hours, I have drunk three of the four liters I treated and have not had any physical consequences. The bottles were not stained by the tablets. I will carry these tabs with me on my next trip so I can be protected from diseases in the water.
👤I received my chlorine dioxide tablets yesterday. Rescue Essentials had an expired date. The product is only 4 months left before it expires. Very dissatisfied!
👤The use by date is only 10 months away.
👤The manufacturer states on their website that the tablets should last four years. The tablets I received are almost two years old. I think the sell by date is also the expiration date. It was unfortunate. I will keep them in a bag.
👤The product had less than a year left.
👤Used overseas in a developing nation. My water supply came from a river. There was nothing left after the fact. It is easy to use. It's a good idea to get a collapsible water storage container for camping. I regret buying an expensive water filter because it wouldn't have had any effect on viruses, and these tablets kill everything. I'd say these tablets are the way to go if you ever get sick.
👤The Iodine based purification tablets have Chlorine Dioxide in them. First, I need to use my Sawyer, then I need to drop my water bottle, let it work, then shake vigorously to aerate the water. This is the safest way to deal with waterborne bugs like Beaver Fever. I need to make at least 10 liters in my BOB/GHB. I'm not sure if there's any risk of interaction with the metal, but I'd use these in a bottle.
A high energy value and ready to eat. The US Coast Guard approved a 12-day supply of food.
👤These seemed like a good option for me because I just began dabbling in the 'go bag' world. These are dry, crumbly lemon flavors in squares of food. These are what they are described as. I waited so long for the review to be done that I didn't get to test the claims. I went with the 2400 because one review mentioned that a pack went stale the next day. I tried one and it made me feel a bit hungry and tired for a day. I left half of the bag in a zip lock bag for a month to see if the theory was true. The packaging got weird reviews. One of my bags opened on their own, which is what some of them did. The way some are sealed makes them run out of stuff. They crammed the bars in and hoped for the best, but got the worst. I ate that pack and moved on. I did not get packs less than 5 years before they expired. I got it 3 months after I received it. For the price, I would just stick with the bars and keep them in your pack for 6 months.
👤It's a good dessert. As a meal replacement, curious how the scientists or whoever decided that sugar is the only food in an emergency. The foil packaging is not resealable. A bag is suggested by some. The plastic is bound to wear out in a vehicle. The solution is to put the cubes in a bottle.
👤These are nice. It's easy to fit a couple into your backpack. One block will stop your hunger and hold you over for a while.
👤This is a thick, dehydrated sugar cookie. The ingredients verify what your taste buds will conclude when you eat a sugar cookie. Enriched Flour is the main ingredient. There is nothing to indicate that anything is complete. You could live off of it for a short time. You wouldn't use this for weeks on end.
👤I like to try out products before I buy them. I have been using a brick for some hikes. I was surprised by the taste and the texture of the cookie. A small piece can give a boost to a hike. It would probably last a long time without dehydrating you. The brick can be broken into 6 cubes. The cubes are difficult to break up with a knife. They make a mess. I put the main pakage in a gallon and it seems to be enough for hiking.
👤I haven't tried yet. These are so heavy. They were good for hiking. I don't know how Marines carry trunks. We will keep them at home for emergencies.
👤These were bought for emergency use cases. The kids liked it when we tried it out. It is definitely dense but not too sweet. My kids thought it was a sugar cookie.
👤This tasted better than I anticipated. The packaging is very heavy. This will be great for disasters.
