Double-sided zippers are very satisfying to use and are very good. If you want to keep warm in the cold weather, tug the bag in the headrest. While you're there, make sure to pat that extra securing strap because it will keep you nice and snug. There are sleeping bags for both adults and kids. The material is waterproof and durable, and Premium Polyester keeps the temperature from 55 to 60F. The sleeping bag is waterproof. The smooth zip closes makes it more convenient. The sleeping bag is 83"L x 30"W, it's the size that most people use. It can hold an adult or two children. 👤I only clicked 1 star because I did the same thing. Check the worse reviews. I have differing opinions of the bags features. 1. This bag is 1.5# and has a hood 2. The cotton filling keeps the inside of my bag at 78F in 38F weather. It's 1/3 less in width/L/dia than my $300 down bag, but it's as warm. 3. Look at the color the reviewer bought. If you don't get the black in R or L, it will be small for real men. I was able to roll over and bunch it up like a bed sheet, because my BLACK was big enough for my 6', 220# man frame. The benefit of the R/L black bag is that it has a 30" square foot space, which can be used for things like a second zip to vent your feet, or to escape snakes. 4. The compr bag. It will be hard to fit in a sleeping bag if you don't flatten the air out. If you lay on it first, you'll be able to evacuate it's space. There is a double strap on the end of the bag. 5. ZIPPER I keep an arm out of my bag because I'm claustrophobic and the zip is not double sided. I know that I don't always read critical reviews.
👤Do you see all of the photos of the sleeping bag? Don't do it. As soon as I opened the box, I showed my daughters the cool new sleeping bag I got for motorcycle camping and pulled on the compression straps to show how it could get smaller. I pulled the sleeping bag out for the first time after it ripped one of the straps out. It was very disappointing! See the photo. If the seller makes it right, I will follow up. I really appreciate the replacement sleeping bag that ECOOPRO sent me. I'm not trying to make it smaller this time. I used this sleeping bag at Joshua Tree last weekend, where it was cold but the bag kept me warm next to the tent my kids were in. I wore sweatpants, a sweatshirt and socks, as I would any time I expect to get cold while camping, and I was quite comfortable. This bag is great when it is hot at night, and not take up a lot of space. I got this for motorcycle camping and I'm looking forward to using it. This bag performed very well again last weekend, after moto-camping with it again. I slept on the nylon sleeping pad with the bag in my hand, because the nylon bag kept sliding down the sleeping pad, even though I was camped a couple hundred feet from the road. If you don't use the sleeping bag in the bitter cold, I don't think you can go wrong for the price.
👤I was not sure how warm we would be, and I was skeptical about the sleeping bag. It is so warm we are backpacking in the summer and spring and it blew my expectations. Thank you for the affordable product. I don't see a reason to spend a lot of money at the beginning if you're just getting into backpacking.

👤I fit in this bag with enough room to spare, I'm 6' and 250 lbs. If I lay down, standing up covers my shoulders and I can bend my knees a little. I can cover my head. If you are going to lay down, you need to insulate yourself from the ground in a place like this, because it is very windy and raining. If you were careful, it would probably last a couple nights. The mylar bags are just a little more bulk. Duct/packing tape is a good idea in your emergency kit. I'm assuming that if you spend hours inside it you will end up wet from condensation build up, as it's essentially a plastic bag, but I was not in it for that long. Under idea circumstances, the indoors have a clean wood floor. I was able to get it back into it's little bag after rolling it back up. I didn't attempt it, but I think you could. The little mylar emergency blankets have been upgraded.
👤I was able to give this a try in the cold desert air late at night because I didn't have the means to test it out in the great outdoors. The ground was bone-piercingly iciness, and the wind was going strong. I was skeptical of the little thing being able to provide much heat, but when I got it unfolded and crawled inside, I was very convinced. It was a little on the small side for a person like myself, but you have to do it in an emergency. I could see myself using this in a non-simulated life-or-death scenario because it insulated me from both the ground and the outside air. That may be my imagination. The product worked as advertised. I only knocked off points for the slightly smaller size and the way it feels. I was worried that I would have to kick a hole through it while I was sleeping.
👤I bought this for my survival kit when I go hunting. The guide had everything. I started assembling a survival kit after I got home. I researched emergency sleeping bags that don't take up a lot of space in your pack and do the job. This met my requirements. Do yourself a favor, don't put your life in the hands of a guide if he doesn't have the equipment to keep you alive. Chances are he doesn't. My last guide didn't have a sat phone or a personal locator device, so I'll have one on my next trip. We made it back to his truck after he broke a few ribs in an atv accident. The fringe of our camp had been visited by a grizzled animal. We hunted around a lake. He had no safety equipment for an emergency. I hope I never have to, but I do want to return home vertical, and I haven't tried this yet. I'll have a well equiped survival kit with this life bivy in it. Good luck and safe hunting.
If you are unhappy with your bivy sack, you can return for a full refund or replacement, no risk. Thermal Mylar has aROOF WARMTH: It keeps body heat and repels wind and water. Super slapstick. Mylar is non-toxic and resists tears and punctures. There is a sensitive interviewer. The emergency sleeping bag is 7 ft x 3 ft. Highly portable: The shelter folds small for easy hiking, camping, backpacking, or vehicle transport. There is survival vulnerability. Uses include a bivouac shelter, ground cloth, distress signal, backpack cover, sleeping bag liner, horseshoe pack, wind screen, shade sail, solar cooker, rain poncho, snow melter, flotation, cordage, fishing lure, bird repellent, splint, sling, bandage, and
👤We bought mylar bags to take with us on our camping trip. The cold breeze couldn't get to us at night so my husband and our two boys put them over our sleeping bags. We were relatively warm inside our sleeping bags despite the cold temperatures of the first night. Our feet were warm. The inside of our bags was wet the first night. The inside of your bag will be damp if the outside is wet. Being damp in cold weather is not good. Even though we were a little cooler, we were still warmer than we would have been without the emergency bags. It was due to science that the mylar bags collected the moisture they did. condensation will build up over time if you breathe into a sleeping bag. You may sweat while sleeping if you don't wear dry sleepwear. The mylar bag traps the moist air from the outside of your sleeping bag and makes you feel damp and cool on the inside of the sleeping bag. During the sunny day, we dried out our sleeping bags as much as we could. We used the bags the next night and they were still damp. When we went to sleep, we covered our faces with fleece blankets and didn't pull the sleeping bag over our heads. The bags weren't as cool as the night before, but we were more comfortable. Next time, a flannel bag liner inside our sleeping bags will help even more, as it will keep us from feeling the slight condensation caused by condensation. The key to using these for camping is to put your sleeping bag inside them. Don't sleep in the sleeping bag at night, put a flannel blanket or handkerchief around your mouth, and never go to bed in the clothes you were wearing all day. The mylar bag will make you cold. When you're ready to turn in for the night, have a clean, dry, light sleepwear in the bag so you can put them on quickly. A wool cap or something to keep the heat out of your head is what you should wear. Next day, dry everything out.
👤I used the mylar bag as a middle layer over my normal sleeping bag and under a fleece outer sleeping bag. Warm and cozy all night. I had to turn my sleeping bag and mylar bag inside out to let them dry out. I didn't notice the water while I was sleeping. It was worth it to have to re-do my 3-layer setup every day after I dried out.
👤This looks like a great product. I haven't had to use it yet, but I might never. The peace of mind that it is worth it is priceless. The bag is light and thin, but strong. I like the packaging. You can get 2 double orders in a larger bag with an order of 4 or more. It's very convenient. I am replacing my old ones with a better bag.
👤If it gets too cold or wet, slip your sleep bag into this for extra protection. Hiking has a blanket, bag, jacket, rain poncho, and cut hole stick head arms out. The trap air in the boat can be used as a flotation device and can be seen for miles away.

👤We have these in the car and when we go camping. It's not easy to rip one of them, but we are happy with it. It can fit someone that tall. It's like a giant orange garbage bag, but the silver inner material traps heat in case of an emergency. It's a must have for everyone, especially if you live in a cold area. You will thank yourself later.
👤These are not very strong. They will keep you warm in an emergency. We got them this afternoon. My kids are excited to go backpacking with me. We took them to my back yard to test. I wouldn't allow them to wear their shoes in them. I was not upset that my little one tried the one that was a tornado. My older one was very careful and ended up with a hole. I was pretty upset. I thought they were disposable. I think they will only be used in the case of an emergency. They are warm.
👤I keep the smaller emergency sheets in our cars. If needed, these level up emergency planning can be used multiple times. It is a no-brainer to let your emergency supply kits in.
👤I can take a picture of them.
👤Each of them had their own baggie with them. Added to his survival gear, they were just as pictured and the husband loved them.
👤The product will be recommended by others.
👤I would only recommend this product for short term emergencies. I would like to thank my friends for a wonderful day. The AG.

👤The sleeping bag was in a vacuum sealed bag which made it easy to store until I needed to use it. The sleeping bag was not much bigger after opening the sealed plastic wrap. I have used it for camping and backpacking trips. It kept me warm. I was surprised that I didn't get cold when I used my sleeping bag. The bag is practical. The bag comes in a stuff bag, which means you don't have to worry about rolling the bag tightly to put the sleeping bag into the stuff bag. The stuff bag has straps that make it easy to attach to a backpack. I think the sleeping bag is great for people that are shorter. I was able to open the sleeping bag at the feet to keep my feet cool. The bag is rated for 20 degrees and I slept in 0 degree. The sleeping bag may be too small for taller people. I call the sleeping bag a mummy sleeping bag. It might be difficult to take the bag in and out of the stuff bag because the straps are in the way. I would recommend this sleeping bag to friends and family. The bag is easy to carry and it is practical. It is a really good bag for the price, compared to other bags. If you have the money and are tall, I suggest you go for a bag that has a negative degree bag that has multiple zippers to control the heat. If you are on a budget, and you want a sleeping bag that is easy to pack and carry, then this sleeping bag is a great fit.
👤The sleeping bag is cold. I bought a mummy bag. I knew it was going to be cold when I went camping with my son. I was surprised by the weather. I froze the first night. I was not a happy camper and my toes were numb. I think so. It was my fault. It's snug because I'm a bigger guy at 5 feet, 260 pounds. Before we went camping, I didn't check the sleeping bag. I didn't know how important the strap and drawstring was. I would move around in my sleep and the bag would open to my waist. I'd wake up and wash it. I realized what I was doing wrong the next day after I took a look at it. I used the strap and the bag at the same time. I had to take my socks off because my feet were warm. When my other kids need sleeping bags, I know where to go because I have a purchase of my own.
👤I'm confused about buying sleeping bags on Amazon because the information is incorrect. I ordered this because it was advertised as a 4 season sleeping bag, but it isn't! The compression bag has a paper label on it. The sleeping bag that I got was labeled with a temperature of 7-15 degrees CELSIUS, which is actually 44F to 59F, so don't buy it, it won't keep you warm.

Many people are stocking up with 2 or 3 of these to outfit the entire family for fun, comfort, and ultimate safety. They have a very popular product in plentiful supply so hurry and buy now. This is a great birthday gift, holiday gift, or anniversary gift for anyone who wants an exceptional professional grade bivy sleeping bag.
👤I bought this bivy as part of my bag. I had just tested it on a hike to see if it would suffice as an emergency sleeping place. Night 1 was used at 70F down to 60F and worked well until my skin got contact with the bivy walls. The biggest issue that the bivy sac captures is condensation from your body heat and breath. The pools are cool. If you ever come in contact with this, you will lose body heat. The bag is good for preserving body heat inside another shelter, but I recommend you not cover your head in it because of the condensation. I don't recommend using it as a replacement for a tent or sleeping bag. The material is thin enough that it will wear and tear over time.
👤I am supposed to get a rebate, but not in return for a review. I bought it to give to a homeless man. I only peeked in the little baggy since he needed to see how it was packed. I can't speak on much of it because of this. The material seemed to last a long time. Mylar blankets are in my car. These seem to be a better product. The Mylar film is less durable. I plan on ordering several more so I have one for each passenger and the dog in my car in case of an emergency, but hope not to need them.
👤I was asked if I could give my cousin something useful for camping. I was thinking of giving him a butane burner, but it might not be safe, especially if they're hiking and assuming it will be sunny, there is a tendency that the butane can blow up. I was looking for an item that would be very useful. The sleeping bags caught my attention the most. I bought it even though I don't think he will like it. I was laughing when I gave it to him. When he opened it, he was amazed. He said that it will reduce the weight of the bag he will carry. In case of an emergency, the whistle is loud. I hope we can find a variety of colors. It works perfectly.
👤It's only good for a one time use emergency situation, and not durable enough to take up space in your kit, so it was taken out for a test run. Military surplus would be a better option.
👤The design seems to be what I need, a single use emergency bivy that I hope to never have to use. It will be worth the price if I use it once and trash it. It was large. I repack it in the carry bag after opening it. If you are looking for something to use multiple times, this is not it. If you're just looking for an emergency bivy to always have in your hiking pack with the hope of never using, then this appears to be a good product.
👤Probably on the 10 essentials list. It could save a hiker's life. I strongly recommend taking a wilderness survival course before hiking in the wilderness. Stuff happens. Please search the 10 essentials list.
Travel friendly. It hangs easily and provides easy travel and mess-free packing. The lay-flat design is easy to clean and protects items from foreign surfaces. The COMPACT 2 pack is a small one. The sleeping bag is 3.5 x 4 when it's in a bag. The sleeping bag is 83 x 35" Their sleeping bags are so small that they are an essential addition to any emergency shelter, first aid kit, bug out bag, camping gear or car emergency kit. It isdurable: The sleeping bags are made of thick, puncture-resistant polyethylene and keep you warm while keeping out weather elements like wind, water and sun. It'sTILE: This sleeping bag can be used to keep you warm, or as an emergency shelter, wind shield, water collector, ground cover, emergency signal or rain poncho. Remember college graduates, camping enthusiasts or new parents with a useful gift. They'll be prepared for anything with this sleeping bag.
👤The bags are heavier than I was expecting. I do a lot of outdoor activities. They're perfect to keep in a day pack or kayak. Good quality for the price.
👤I was buying a sleeping bag for my son. He was very disapointed today. It's pretty orange. I bought a sleeping bag for him.
👤I might need it in case I had to sleep in my car. It's great for emergencies. It seems like a good product. There are no complaints here.
The strongest sleeping bag on Earth is their HeatFlex mylar. They have added a hood section to protect your head and reinforced tape seams to make a survival bivy that can be used alone or with a sleeping bag. Do you worry about cold or wet weather? The waterproof material protects your sleeping bag from outside condensation, and the emergency sleeping bag reflects up to 90% of body heat to boost the heat retention of your sleeping bag. Studies show you lose up to 10% of body heat through your head. The hood design helps retain body heat. This feature is only available from Don't Die In The Woods. Ultralight, waterproof, and super COMPACT are not good for carrying extra weight. It is so small and light that you will forget. The weight of a small apple is what makes the DDI TW Emergency Sleeping Bag so light. They should be stashed in each of your cars and backpacks. They donate a percentage of profits to help protect the wild places they love. They stand behind their products. You won't find a tougher mylar survival anywhere. It is guaranteed.
👤The first time I used it, there was a big hole. There was nothing inside the tent that could have caused the hole. They claim this is durable. Garbage that I returned was over priced. You can get a regular emergency blanket for a lot less.
👤This was nothing more than a trash bag.
👤Thin material is not durable. It was very loud, like regular Mylar. One night, I used a sleeping bag. I made a shelter and slept in it, but still got wet. This is not any better than any other products. I got a nice cardboard box out of the packaging.
👤It is a single use survival tool that will function as intended. I will look for a better price next time because the price was high. This item's advantage is that it's form is a bag rather than a blanket and that there is slightly more material at the bag opening for the user to form a hood- in a dire situation these advantages would be useful. The material is Mylar with a foil type surface and is meant to be used in conjunction with a sleeping bag or blanket to retain some heat so that the cold doesn't kill you. It can be useful to keep you dry in a wet environment if the user is careful and doesn't tear or pop the seams. If you use this product in a warm climate, expect it to trap sweat and moist air from your body, because it is a plastic bag. It's small and light so it can be carried in a pack to aid survival if needed, but don't ever expect to roll it back up in it's original, compact size baggie, just use it if you need to and expect you will need to take care to not Throw it out and get another.
👤Absolutely trash. It is not close to being as durable as advertised, and it is as thin as a sheet of paper. It is a trash bag with a reflective surface. It is a waste of money to purchase this.
👤I bought this to take the morning of the NYC marathon to keep me warm and rest while waiting in the cold. In case of rain, this would be great. There was no need for a ground cover. I gave away the Mylar blankets I brought with me.
👤This is supposed to be for emergencies, so I haven't used it yet. I bought it to take with me when I travel. It was next to a generic bag that was half the price. It is 9 grams lighter. The Don't die in the Woods bag was 5 grams. The bag was 7 grams and had a cord of 550. The generic is better than nothing. There is room for improvement. It should use a larger plastic retainer and a larger cord for sting for an ultra light emergency bag. I would give it 5 stars if the changes were made. You should get more for less than $20.
A great small gift idea is their Tactical Survival Kit, which comes in a nice box and makes a great gift for men or women who love the outdoors. They are also a great Zombie Survival Kit that is ready for the apocalypse. Be Prepared to Survive is an emergency bag that protects you from cold, rain, snow and wind. It's small enough to fit into a bug out bag, survival kit, emergency kit, jacket pocket, hunting bag or car glovebox. It's big enough to be an emergency shelter. The right size is light and compact. The thermal blanket is placed in the palm of your hand. It's only 4.2 ounces. 7x3 feet opened. The sleeping bag liner is great. Roll it and stuff it back into the nylon sack. In cold temperatures the space blanket technology inside reflects up to 90% of your thermal body heat and seals it in. The emergency bivy sack has instant warmth. This edc gear is waterproof and windproof in the wind, rain and snow. The bivy can be used in extreme heat to build a shelter with the reflective side facing the sun keeping the heat away. 26 um thick tear-resistant polyethylene is durable and reusable. Get to know their small team and they will support you with product use, application, and education. They offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY and are proud to provide you with superior tactical gear and survival products.
👤I bought 10 of them to give to the homeless. I hope it does what it says it will do, because I was so sad when we found a naked woman sleeping under the skyway in Buffalo. She was covered in blankets under the bridge. Her mattress was lying on the ground, amidst all the garbage and puddles of water. A couch that another homeless person was sitting on was 10 feet from her. We went out on New Years Eve. I couldn't offer her a place with a roof and walls.
👤Light and packable. In an emergency situation, this bivy can save your life. You can keep one in your vehicle or backpack. It's perfect for a bug out bag.
👤Many people don't think about the fact that helicopters have heat-IRscopes that they use to find you in neighborhoods and the woods, but blankets and sleeping bags stop most of the heat signal. If you cover it with dirt or sand, it works better. This could be a life saver if you have nothing to keep you warm. I would have given my last dollar for something like this, because I have been in the cold and wet. I have this and three safety blankets, so I don't have to. Hopefully they will be around when the need arises.
👤I bought this for a friend because it was kind of an inside joke and I thought she could contribute it to her emergency go-bag. It was inexpensive and I love that it can serve multiple needs, but it didn't last long or survive a lot of weather or situations.
👤Very small and thin. I hope I don't have to use it soon.
👤It's a perfect size for the bag. If you run across an accident on the road, it's good to have a vehicle for shock victims.
👤You should be dressed with extra layers in the winter and late Autumn. If you need to stay warm in severe weather, this bag will keep you warm and reflect your own body heat back to you.
👤This is a great product. It's easy to carry in my car kit. I recommend this to anyone I talk to. I liked dealing with the seller. Great job!
We offer a 100% Risk-Free Satisfaction Guarantee to let you buy with confidence. They are sure that you will be impressed with its ability to keep you warm in winter. The fill is 100% Polyester. For camping in temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees. 3 lbs of insulation. The cover is made of tricot fiber blend. Your face is covered with comfortCuff. Roll Control has a lock bag for easier rolling.
👤I don't know what's going on with the negative reviews about the interior fabric, but it's regular soft synthetic material. People think it's made out of cat tongues. Try kneeling on a rug. I've been using this for camping in 50 to 65 degree weather at night and it's so far been perfect. I wear a t shirt and shorts to sleep when it's warm, but with a thin fleece quarter zip when it's cold. It helps regulate my body temperature. Mild weather camping is always the easiest in the summer and winter, so I'm curious to see what it is like in this bag. It doesn't seem to hold odor very well, despite being smoked out by a camp fire and sleeping in it in not the freshest condition. It's next to impossible to roll back up small enough to fit in a bag, but maybe there's a trick to it that I'm missing. I don't go backpacking so I just throw the badly rolled up version in my truck and get it back home.
👤The sleeping bag is actually a good one, but it has the inside fabric that others have complained about. They are going to the donation pile after being used once. I don't think you can call the inside lining a fabric, it's more of a lining or interface. It is hard to see next to the skin.
👤I bought this for my 9 year old son because he likes to go to friend's houses for sleepovers. The sleeping bag works well for that purpose. It's a nice warm weather sleeping bag that provides enough warmth at night without causing sweating. The pros are 1. It is quite durable. The sleeping bag has survived 5 sleepovers with rowdy 9 and 10-year old boys. The nylon lining feels very thin, but it has held up well so far. Anything that can survive is impressive. 2. When you're using the zip up, the zip up does not bind up or get caught on the fabric. This is magic. 3. Ties and loops help roll it up and keep it up, and it works well. My 9-year old can do it. The cons are 1. The synthetic liner is soft, but it can be annoying when it catches on rough skin. I have rough hands, but they are not uncomfortable. I can see how this may be an issue if you have a bad case of sphygmomanic or dry skin, but it didn't bother me at all when I tried it out. 2. It's not easy to put it back in the nylon sack it came in. This is a great bargain and has held up better than I thought it would. The sky blue is dusky and quite pleasing to look at.
👤These sleeping bags are not high quality, but they are almost exactly what I wanted. The liner material is strange. It is soft and rough at the same time. I don't like microfibers. That is still the case with these bags. I prefer a light weight fleece or flannel. I wanted to go camping out of the blue but couldn't find any sleeping bags. I forgot to loan them out. I was in need of something and Amazon prime was able to help. I wanted something light and hot. When they say 40 degree bag, it's more like 30 degree bag for me and 50 degree bag for my wife. The tent is completely open for air at night and we've camped with it for 5 nights. It was fine as a blanket, but too hot for me as a bag. I like the interior material better than a blanket. You can't beat the price of Colman products. The stuff is bad. I have to make my life easier. I can roll a sleeping bag. I can't get these to go back in the factory sack. The material on the sacks is thin. I don't think I should change it. My opinion might change if I paid a lot of money for it. If you have reasonable expectations, the value is good. The tent was closed on the sides but still open at the top, so I used these bags for two more nights. I was fine until early morning when my shoulders got cold. It's good to go because it's able to nestle around me. My wife was not cold and needed a blanket for added comfort. I don't think I could use this bag alone to go down to 30 like I said in my initial review. I will use it to freeze with either my down blanket or wool military blanket. I'm wearing the better gear if it's that cold. My wife's limit was 40's. She was wearing light weight PJ's and socks and I was in nada so it was still warm to be found in what you wear to bed. I would add a star to the review if it was usable at 40 degrees for my wife. Well done, Colman.
