👤You should have one of these if you fish off shore.

👤The side pocket is too small for the EPIRB. Everything else is sturdy and works well.

👤I am a prepper nerd and I have been checking the water being sold in these small pouches. Many are just tap water and bags. The total dissolved solids are referred to as theTDS. I have seen a range from 100-300 parts per million. The water is pure. I did a simple test here and the lab tested it and both came out as 4 parts per million. The purity of the water is 10 parts per million. The soft taste and slightly acidic PH of around 5 is what Reverse Osmosis Water has been heavily Filters through for taste. Very happy with the package.

👤I received a case of water with an expired date on it. The bottom of the box was wet, so I knew we had a leak when I put the case with my emergency storage. When I opened the case to look for the leaking packet of water, I found that all but 19 of the 64 packs had expired by the time I received the package. The other 19 were older. They had a date in the future. One of the 2 water paks that were unexpired had a leak. It was as if this company tried to hide the expired water in a different case and then placed enough paks over the top of those to try to pass it off as okay. They would have fooled me if one of the packs had not leaked. This company was dishonest.

👤We bought a box of these to distribute among our bags. We haven't tasted it yet, but we hope we never have. It doesn't sound romantic to drink out of a plastic packet. I'm happy to have it. It looks like it's a great backup for water in your house, car, bug out bags, whatever you can think of. Many of them come in a box and are very affordable. If you need some water in an emergency, you can distribute them among the various areas of your life. The packets are very lightweight and durable. I think it's very sturdy and should be cut with a knife to puncture it. They arrived quickly, packaged well and were a good value. We are looking forward to never using them. My wife and I found this one to be the best emergency water out there, but there are many other brands, and you can find a different one that you like better. Other options include water tablets, water bottles, and so on. Depending on your circumstances, you may want to look at other options. I am very happy with what we received and I look forward to never having to use them.

👤This is a big part of my bags and I want to give it 5 stars. There were two pouches inside the box. There were no visible tears or cuts on the bags, they just leaked out of the seals. The book that Amazon had packed in the same box was damaged when the water leaked out of the box. They were packing a book in the same box as a case of water. The water in the undamaged pouch is fine. The one I opened was packed in the year of 2017: it was fresh and clean.

Brand: Mesqool

👤I just bought this to use as a camping lantern and to get weather reports while camping off the grid. I was surprised by how many channels I could get. Light use has lasted 3 days with the battery. I don't know how long the solar charge takes to charge. The video was taken at home. It is loud and clear with the red light. I'll test the battery life on lights next.

👤I brought it to have a big display, multi power sources, and a flashlight and reading light. It's about the size of a can of soda. It took over an hour to charge, but I left it off and only had one bar left on the power source. The power light will turn green after it was charged. You can only turn it on by closing the hatch completely and pressing the band on the second day. I hope I don't become frustrated in an emergency because I'd rather have a full charge than 3 bars of charge.

👤I am excited to use this item on my first camping trip. I love that it can use a variety of power sources. The light is bright at night. It can charge my phone. I'm ready for anything that comes my way, be it fire, power outage or anything else. Even though there are many functions on it, it was easy to operate. Love it.

👤This product is similar to my grandfather's radio, it has good sound for Am and Fm, but also includes short wave and weather which are used for government and emergencies. The radio is powered by the sun and has a gyro that can be used to charge a battery. A bright led light and red strobe are included in the radio unit. It comes with an emergency location siren. This unit is awesome because of the price.

👤Within a couple hours, the battery was half empty.

👤The first radio had a bad battery. It would not charge fully or hold what it had for a long time. The seller was very responsive and immediately sent a new radio. The second radio and Li-ion work well. The charge is held for 24 hours. Very impressed with their quick response.

👤I am not happy to see how small this radio is. I thought it was a toy. I am not going to use this radio.

👤I bought this because I saw it on tiktok and I am located in Texas so it would be handy for tornado and the next winter freeze. Go a head and buy something. Will update if something happens.

👤Ich hatte das Radio insebesondere, also fr den evtl. Stromausfall/Blackout ist das bekannt gesagt, die bekannt gesagt ist. Gert ist bin, bei uns gelandet. Brand: Mesqool

👤This is a slightly improved version of the Mesqool CR 1009Pro that I bought last year. Better radio tuning. The documentation has been improved with information on battery life and charging times using the hand crank, built-in solar cell, or the fastest cable. This one does not include the AC plug. It would make it 6 ways to power this little guy. The Li-Ion battery level is specified on the display. The flashlight and reading light work well, as does the radio tuner, allowing both single step changes and scanning to the next available station. Sound is okay, but use headphones for better sound and longer battery life. I like the case. A good deal.

👤The Emergency Alert Radio is great for hikers, bikers, walkers, and just plain sitters because of its ability to operate on multiple power sources. If AC power is not available, multiple types of batteries provide the power and as backup, a hand crank and/or solar panel can charge the batteries. Guidance on battery life is provided by the instructions. If the light level is reduced, there are multiple flashlight options. When the cell phone's battery is low, the units can charge it. All in all. What a great product.

👤The emergency radio has a lot of nice features, like a flashlight, different radio frequencies, and different ways to charge the battery, which is really nice if the power goes out. It is portable and has a strap to carry it. There are several ways to charge-crank and plug. There is a spot light and a reading light.

👤The weather radio is easy to use and reliable. I was waiting for some bad weather so I could get an alert. We did a couple of days ago. The radio is working. It seems the volume only goes to "16", it could be louder for us to drown out the excess noise in our house. The flashlight feature is very useful.

👤It is incredibly useful when out and about, like a Swiss army knife. It has a radio, a torch, an emergency beacon, and a 5000 mah battery, which is enough to charge your devices off, and it has a reading light, too. The + - Volume buttons are the only thing that needs to be changed.

👤I put the batteries in the unit. I returned the unit because the flashlight functions worked perfectly. The lighting functions were excellent, especially the broad area lamp under the solar panel. The unit was very strong.

👤Would not be able to power up. We returned it.

👤The features are considering the size. 4 ways to power it is very forward thinking. I can't wait to see what this company comes up with. Nice job!

Brand: First Alert

👤I received a product that was completely faulty. The gauge says that it needs to be charged. It is a safety hazard and this is very upsetting. The horrors continue. This product will not allow me to return it without contacting the company. Amazon needs to take responsibility. They won't allow me to add a photo to prove what I'm saying. This is not a toy. I am confused. I will keep trying to contact Amazon. Don't buy this product.

👤The item doesn't fit in the intended space. I received a message that the item is not returnable. This is not stated in the product description or ordering page.

👤The extinguisher had a bent handle and no charge. I went to a certified fire extinguisher retailer to see if they could fix it, and they said it was faulty and had a leak. Even though I ordered the item 10 days ago, I am unable to return it. I don't want to replace parts that could be used to save my home or my family's life.

👤The extinguisher fell out of the nozzle as it showed up with its chemicals. The gauge said it was empty and the instructions said it was not functional. Very disappointed. The chemicals got in my nose as well. It was made to burn.

👤After 5 months, my fire extinguisher lost its charge.

👤We are thankful we had two extinguishers when our electric water heater started a fire in our utility room. We had a lot of fire. The fire department arrived to find that the second extinguisher was running out. We would have lost everything if it weren't for having two and my hero of a husband. We now have four fire fighting equipment. The kitchen, utility room, living room and one in the back of the house are hidden. We don't have one in the garage. I need one more to order. The whole house was affected by smoke, soot and ashes after the utility room fire. Everything will be done in a week or so.

👤I hope it works when I need it. I'll update the review if it doesn't and I don't survive the fire.

7. Emergency Blanket Poncho Survival Equipment

Emergency Blanket Poncho Survival Equipment

The built-in 1200mAh can be used as a power bank. PREPARED4X created its emergency poncho using tough mylar and NASA- engineered tear- resistant material, so you can keep warm. Their patent-pending PREPARED4X wind-resistant and waterproof blanket poncho hybrid is a great way to keep your hands out of harms way. The mylar blanket poncho is roomy and comfortable and can fit under your backpack to keep it safe and dry. It is ideal for your survival kit, hiking gear, earthquake kit, bug out bag, or car emergency kit because it has a poncho and thermal blanket in one. It's important to have an emergency survival poncho in your bag so you can protect yourself from critical heat loss in an emergency situation.

Brand: Prepared4x

👤I bought these out of all the others. I bought this for a homeless man. I understand that it isn't durable like a winter jacket, but it is 888-282-0465, 888-282-0465 He said that the wind went underneath and through the opening that it did not have arms, so he did not feel warm. I thought it was more durable than some of the others, but it wasn't. I wanted to help him. What if it was an emergency case? It didn't do what it said it would do.

👤They are rubbish bags that are silver in color and tear very easily. They cost me $30.96 because they are not mylar and are not warm. They are a scam.

👤Shipping was late. The poncho was light weight but had a hole in it when I opened it. See the photo. The box itself wasn't damaged, and two others didn't have any holes. I would not wear this on a backpacking trip. It is very thin, and with the tree branches it would tear. It wouldn't fit in a large backpack. I am not sure how many uses you would get, but luckily you get three in the package. It is a good value for the price, but I am not sure I would be willing to take it on a multiple day hike.

👤These emergency ponchos are great! I used to use thin mylar blankets, but they are not as thick as the one I tried, and they are not as good as the one I tried. My phone would recommend these over regular mylar emergency blankets because of the smaller bag size. I am ordering more for gifts and putting them in vehicles.

👤I gave away three of these to medical volunteers at the protest. They thanked me very much. I stayed outside in the rain for about six hours thanks to this thing. Don't think you can reuse them. The orange paint was sticking to itself the next day. It didn't seem like it was in good shape for another outing. Even though I had a backpack on over it, it was fine until I took it off. It was perfect.

👤The jacket is twice as thick as a typical Mylar blanket but will tear easily if caught on anything. The arm sleeves are short and come down to my knees. It is too big in the waist to allow heat to escape. I believe the price is too high for a 4 pack. I would pay fifteen dollars for them after touching the product. It will work under a poncho. The hood is a good feature and the seams are not torn. It was easier to repackage than a blanket. To make the arms and total length a foot longer, add a waist strap and double the thickness.

👤I took this on a camping trip and loved it. This blanket kept me warm when I was a small person. These blankets are very small. I keep 2 in my car and one in my camping gear. I would buy this product again.

👤The price was good for a backpack.

The emergency first aid kit was designed to be used on your next adventure. The FDA has a registered medical device. The product is eligible for both the FSA and the HSA.

Brand: Surviveware

👤This is one of the best small first aid kits I have ever purchased. It is easy to find what you need. The included "tourniquet" would be a major shortcoming. The elastic band is worse than not including a tourniquet, as someone with less first aid training and experience might believe they have a tool to cover major arterial bleeding. They will not. The center pocket where this elastic tool is located is a perfect place for a tourniquet, such as a SOF-T, a CAT or even a TK4. I don't know if a SOF-T would fit in the current pocket, but I was able to tuck a TK4 into it with no problem. It would make the kit more expensive to include a tourniquet, but it wouldn't have to be included. Customers can design the pocket and label their own, if they so choose. I found the case too large and unnecessary. I put the contents of the case in their own compartment. The kit is missing antiseptics and antibiotic ointments, either the items themselves or a clear place to store them, and I ended up adding them to the pouch for lack of a better place. I replaced the flimsy triangular bandage with a heavier one that could double as a pressure or tourniquet bandage. I added a squeeze bulb for wound cleaning. The back of the kit has attachment straps that can be used in many different ways. The only complaint I have with them is that the snaps were put into the nylon strap and the body of the bag, preventing me from removing them as I could easily do with the rest of the strap assembly. I wanted to lighten the bag for backpacking and didn't need the straps. This is a good kit with the exceptions of the above listed items, but it sounds like I'm being ultra critical. It is lightweight, but not flimsy. The 600 denier nylon construction is a perfect compromise between weight and strength. The organized pockets allow you to open the bag without spilling anything and still be able to get the item you need without delay. You can add some of your own materials, but not overstuff the kit. If the tourniquet issue was addressed, I would rate it 5 stars.

👤I don't think there's a bag full of $2.00 worth of supplies. Supplies are cheap in China. There are cheap scissors and toy whistle. I can't believe I fell for it. Ordinary people cannot write positive reviews. Buying your own high-quality bandaids would make a kit infinitely superior.

👤There are a lot of first kits on Amazon. I wanted to find one that suited me. I like to have my own first aid kit in case the yacht's one is not up to par. I ski through the winter and hike and run in the summer. I like to keep my weight down. If I am ready for anything, I feel more comfortable in the outdoors. I ordered the kit after contacting the seller to inquire about it, and I was reassured that it was thoughtfully packed with all the necessities while not being bloated or overweight. When it arrived, I was excited to unpack it. A lot of thought has gone into the kit to make sure that you have what you need but don't end up carrying around unnecessary items. It's easy to find items because everything has its place. This is important because of the likely stress involved with a first aid situation. It's easy to put items back in the right place and it's also easy to see what needs to be replaced after a trip away. The bag that houses the kit is of the highest quality. The zips work well, it has a handy carry handle and a couple of loops on the back to strap it to a bag. I put it in my camera bag. It's a good size. I feel confident heading off for a few days of camping but small enough to fit into backpack pockets. I will be buying a second one so that I have one at home and one to travel with.

Brand: Don't Die In The Woods

👤I thought it was better. I'm the kind of person who will test items before an emergency strikes. The emergency blankets are cheap, but they are not as strong as the larger ones. I tried to open it. It was not easy to do. I was impressed. I gave the test to a 6 year old and said have at it. It had minimal damage. No more ripping or anything like that. Very impressive. It's good to have a bug out bag or car just in case.

👤I got these today. I pulled one out to see if it was tear resistance. I pulled it on and it ripped. The material used to make the grocery bag is not as strong as the Walmart bag. Don't waste your money. I'm going to return them tomorrow.

👤All four of them have their own bag for storage, and that the main holder is made of durable fabric. I wore one around the house. It got warm. The material felt strong. I had to put it back in the pack because ofadhd issues. I put it in the bag after my 3rd attempt because I didn't get all my lines right. Will purchase again from this company.

👤I don't like giving bad reviews. These are very small trash bags. I compare these to dollar tree table covers. I was not happy with the quality.

👤I like the way these are packaged. There is a bag in the zip up case. Excellent quality all around.

👤For limited use or emergency only, there is permission. I thought they were bigger. Would have been better for camping.

👤This is a great blanket. Sturdy, big. If you have to walk to town in the dessert because your car broke down and there is no phone service, you should keep at least one in your car. There are many reasons to keep these in your car or on a walk. You have a lean-to if you add a 20' piece of rope. This is a great brand.

11. Sundstrom H05 8621 Respirator Particulate Prefilters

Sundstrom H05 8621 Respirator Particulate Prefilters

There is a small problem with the cover's size. If you have a bigger head, it will be a bit uncomfortable at first, but it will fit right after the mesh loosens a bit. The chemical cartridge protects against acids and organic gases. The face piece is made of heat treated Silicone. Half the breathing resistance of competitive respirators is provided by the double exhalation valve design. A high-efficiency P 100 particulate filter. Can be used with their P 100 filter and/or a range of chemical cartridges.
