1. Leatherman Crunch Multitool Stainless Leather

Leatherman Crunch Multitool Stainless Leather

Always on hand. The key ring attachment on the Micra ensures that it is always within reach and ready to work. Take a break from the job. A compact multitool with foldable pliers and a variety of all-locking tools that release with a push of the button. A variety of tools are in the first tool. They offer a 25-year warranty on their Leatherman, so you can be confident that it will last a lifetime. All-locking features mean that every tool and knife will lock when fully opened, keeping you safe and the tools securely in place. There is a bonus feature. If you remove the adjusting screw, you'll find a hex-bit adapter built right in. There is a bonus feature. If you remove the adjusting screw, you'll find a hex-bit adapter built right in.

👤The design of these retractable/detachable pliers is bad. See the video. The pictures show the Crunch compared to the regular grips. The opening angle of the Crunch handle is close to 90 degrees, making it hard to grab, while the Crunch pliers are not open as far as regular vice grips. There are two bad attributes in pliers. These pliers are terrible. My suggestion is to get a multi-tool that is compatible with a ratcheting bit driver, and then buy a pair of lockable pliers and a case to fit everything. The main feature of these locking pliers is not reliable. The design of the Leatherman's handle makes it seem like it's flimsy. It takes a bit of time, but the only good feature is that you can get a rigid 1/2” hex bit driver by removing the tightening bolt. Very nice. I have never bent a Leatherman flat bit, but I am more comfortable using regular hex bits that are reliable. Flat bits with sleeves and blades doesn't make me comfortable, but I like the sturdiness of the Surge. The Crunch pliers are not as good as regular locking pliers. The opening is from locked. Your hand has to stretch further than standard locking pliers of similar size because the Crunch opens fully between 80-90 degrees. 2. The regular locking pliers stay together, unlike the retractable/detachable pliers the Crunch uses. If you don't control the momentum of opening, the pliers will open and fall from the handle every time. The attached 8 second video shows how easy it is to detach the handle from them. The handles are comfortable. If the rivet on the other side wasn't there, it would be more comfortable. The rivet allows the handle to roll past 90 degrees more easily, and the edge of the rivet is not as smooth as the rest of the tool. Leatherman is a high quality tool and I might just throw it away to get another crappy tool out of this world. Leatherman should stop producing the Crunch and distance himself from the failure.

👤This is my favorite folding tool. I have a set of locking pliers in my pocket at all times. A fun tool to play with. Once you are able to open it with one hand, you are a pro. It comes with a beautiful sheath, but I don't like to carry it at my hip. I made a cool mod to it by attaching a leatherman aftermarket pocket clip for $7 and taking out the two pin screws with two sets of locking pliers. It was a little difficult to use the washer. It can be done. The pocket clip makes my tool easy to carry with me at all times. If leatherman were to make any changes to this tool, it would be the addition of a stock pocket clip and scissors, similar to the Ps style tools. The lanyard hook and one of the flat heads could be taken out. It would be legendary if it had a box opener. Leatherman could make these stock changes himself if he wanted to, but for the premium price and time this device has been on the market, it would be nice for him. This tool is a winner and would make a great gift for anyone. It has no weak points that would make it break or fail. It should last forever. Buy it!

2. LEATHERMAN Handed Multitool Spring Loaded Pliers

LEATHERMAN Handed Multitool Spring Loaded Pliers

Magnetic locks reduce friction and provide feedback. It is unreliable for a lifetime of use. The best of both worlds. Leatherman's first 100% one-hand-operable multitool, equipped with pliers and blades, is tough enough for jobs on site, at home or outdoors. The OHT has 16 tools, including knives, pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, a strap cutter, a cleaning rod/brush adaptor for firearms, and an oxygen tank wrench, bottle. They offer a 25-year warranty on their Leatherman, so you can be confident that it will last a lifetime. The design is smart. The imprinted handles make it easy to find the tool you need even in the dark. All-locking features mean that every tool and knife, including the pliers, will lock when fully opened, keeping you safe and the tools securely in place. 👤The product is very fast to deploy and it is solidly built. Early reviews claimed poor finish and metal quality. The knives are 154CM. The unit was perfect. The knife is razor sharp and not impressive in size. I got a tan molle and it is definitely at spec. There are going to be issues with early runs as the work out is done and I think the negative reviews reflect that. They aren't the case with my new Leatherman.

👤Excellent replacement for my lost survival tool. I lost my pocket survival tool after carrying it around for 10 years. Since the PST is no longer made, I searched for a replacement. The OHT has the same tools, but it is not exactly the same. The OHT has better pliers. The OHT has all the tools I need. The brown/tan model cost 10 bucks more than the black or silver model. I don't know why, since I tend to be pretty utilitarian with my tool purchases, since it doesn't need to look pretty while doing it. No buyer's remorse here, I like it. If you need to operate this tool with one hand, you should probably try it out in a brick and mortar store. I can open most of the tools with one hand, but since the tools lock into place when fully extended, I can't figure out how to close them up again. I'm happy that the tool is locked in place. Because of an injury, my right hand has lost some strength and coordination, so a one-handed operation would be a bonus. Maybe I need to practice more. I am very happy with the purchase. It arrived very quickly, had good packaging, and was an excellent price.

👤The plastic is flimsy. Unless it's a skinny, manly one, the case doesn't fit on a belt. I think it's going to break quickly, but it's a great concept. It's bulky, but not heavy. I'm not sure if it's worth the money, I'll update when it breaks. I like the lock on it and the ability to get to everything without opening it. Great concept. I don't think they executed it well, but I could be wrong. I'll give it 5 stars if it's still in one piece after 6 months.

👤I replaced my original PST with these. I decided to retire them from the status. I like them a lot. The blades are very sharp and the tools are easy to use. The 8-32 cleaning rod is on the handle opposite of the plier lock. Under normal use, the grip is very comfortable. This is the one handed tool you are looking for. My only complaint is that the plier locking mechanism tends to come unlocked on its own, and the pliers will slide out if you open the sheath. I prefer the kydex offered on Amazon. I will review that separately. I've been carrying a leatherman tool for 28 years and use it daily. This tool is no different than the others.

3. LEATHERMAN Handed Multitool Spring Loaded Pliers

LEATHERMAN Handed Multitool Spring Loaded Pliers

Cut with confidence. This pocket-sized classic has all-locking blades that you can trust around the home, outdoors or on the job site. The best of both worlds. 👤I bought this new tag on the box. It was opened, but had no instructions, and was taped close with a piece of Scotch. Both sides have the same tools. It's really weird. The handle doesn't say leatherman like in the pics. 0/09 I am angry.

👤It's the most fun to play with, but lacks in the ability to carry a multi tool. The design of the tool makes it easy to slip and get pinched between the handles, and the tips don't line up, making precise uses impossible. The driver is off center, the knife is too heavy, and I won't use it to open a box, the saw cut pvc, but doesn't have the signature file on the edge. The overall tool is a good one, but it is not something I would carry or use on a daily basis.

👤I own the Wave, the Free p4 and one or two more Leatherman tools. The bottle opener hook seems to hang up when closing, the metal scales seem a bit thin, and the pop of feature is a nice option but seems to take a bit getting used to. I have carried a Leatherman tool for over 50 years as a field engineer and 30 years as a Scoutmaster, and have used them for everything from cutting bagels to repairing electronics. I intend to keep the tool since it is a nice addition to my collection, however I am not happy with the look and feel of this one. Time will tell if I am much to like the classic Leathermen.

👤A really cool tool. I have used it a few times for very light work and it can not handle it. The spring action was stopped by the first small wire I cut. The frame might not be able to handle the stress of cutting a small wire. The spring is very weak and Jimmying it around sometimes brings it back. The lock for one of the tools I have never used snapped off today, which means that it was sitting around not being used. Being a leather man, I would expect this to be able to handle some mild abuse, but I feel like I have to baby it. I said that an unused tool broke off sitting on my nightstand. The tool feels loose and I could break it if I used it for its intended purpose. I don't like this one guy! I don't want to get a repair. I want a reply. Which one is not easy? I need a reliable tool, so I will give you another chance to buy it. Thanks!

👤I own many Leatherman products. I have a good point of reference since I own multi-tools from other manufacturers. Leatherman makes great products, so you can't really go wrong with one. They set the bar high, and this compares with other products. The tool is made well and does what it says it will do. Features are limited for the money, it is large, and it is relatively heavy. I wouldn't put this on my belt unless I wanted to enter a contest. If you don't need the pliers, I would recommend the Leatherman Juice or the Swiss Army Knife. Either one costs less, offers more function, and will help in keeping your pants up.

👤I always research all the options, pros and cons before buying something, and I do it every time. I ended up reading reviews and forums about how great Leathermans are, and how great the Leatherman Wave is, when I bought a multi-tool. I went online and ordered a Leatherman Wave. Leatherman products are not what people make them to be. I explained in detail in my review why I was very disappointed with my Wave. I got a bunch of "not helpful" votes, which is quite funny, considering that a "not helpful" review is a review that is either too short, doesn't provide any real information, or is blatantly biased. It was not the case with me. I think there is a lot of Leatherman fans who don't like to see their favorite product criticized and react in a childish way. It might be hard to go against the current when choosing a product for which there is a certain popular brand. If you see how much of a difference there is between the two multi-tools, you might realize that sometimes it pays to go against the current. The issues I had with the Leatherman are not related to the SOG. The pliers don't grind against the handle when closing the multi-tool, and the opening action is butter-smooth. The tools in the handles are very easy to open. The handles are very comfortable to use. The SOG has a gear system for the pliers. This can allow people who don't have a lot of hand strength to use pliers very effectively, or people who already have a lot of hand strength to use the cutters to cut almost anything that fits in them. I have been using this SOG for a lot of things, I have used it for everything from fixing my car to fixing my house. I had to remove the butt-cap from the marker so that I could pour a little bit of rubbing alcohol in it and allow my wife to keep using it. I mentioned that the SOG is cheaper than the Letherman Wave. This multi-tool is perfect. If you want to have a real multi-tool, the trade off is that it's a bit heavy. If you want something lighter, I would suggest looking into Suisse Army Knives. A good set of pliers in your pocket is a great thing about a multi-tool. Let me know if you have a question. If you found this review useful, please click yes. Several reviews I have written on items purchased through Amazon have had the "Verified Purchase" removed incorrect and as a result are no longer visible, which is likely happening to other people as well. Since there is a bug in the system and many helpful and detailed reviews are hidden, you should sort by 'All reviews'.

👤An awesome dude in black military garb is playing with a multi-tool in a video on this item's Amazon page. There is a The SOG Powerlock is a multi tool. There is a He did a switcheroo to the PowerAssist. That awesome military dude is clever. He flicks his thumb on the lock. It's sonip! I had to order it because the knife blade was very switchblad-ey and badass. I unboxed the EOD ready pliers and proceeded to flick my thumb, but Sergeant Awesome "Military" dude was laughing all the way to SOG headquarters, and I was able to pull out the knife blade about an hour later. The inside of the plier handles is nothing like the ad. Shame on Amazon and SOG. I want an article 15 for the good sergeant and I sent this pile back. It is sturdy and cool in its own way, the pliers and scissors, and all the tools are well made and tough. bait & switch is what it is and it will stay that way. Good morning.

👤I got these for my girlfriend who is an EMT and a respiratory therapist and she is in love with them as well. The O2 wrench is used by her a lot. The seat belt cutter is a must for first responders. The shears are sharp and can cut denim. I have never had an issue with the shears popping out or losing their grip on the holster, it's really great to free up some pocket space and hold very tight. I can go on and on about how awesome these are, but they are great and they cost a lot, but they are worth it. If you are considering buying these but are on the fence, hit the one click buy button and you will not regret.

👤I use the shears daily in the emergency room to cut off clothing, medical ID bands and other items, and then I use the ruler to do a quick measurement. The rest is unused because it doesn't take up any room. I tried to cut someones finger off with a ring cutter, but it broke. I use alcohol wipes to clean the scissors, and there are little specks of rust on the exterior. I'm not a metallurgist or a jeweler, so I don't know, but it seems like it should be strong enough to cut through a steal ring metal. The leather-man raptor ring cutter was cheaper than the manual first aid style ring cutter, but they were able to make two cuts in the ring, freeing the patient. I had a pair of ring cutters that were faulty.

👤I purchased these on a whim, as I enjoy trinkets and gadgets, but also have training as a first responders, albeit not up to date. I have used them for many things, but have yet to use them on a trauma scene. I didn't realize I couldn't carry my Leatherman Surge at my new job due to a ridiculous weapons policy. I had a multitool on my belt for 3 years, but now have nothing. The shears helped fill a void there and also replaced a pair of tin snips on the job for the rosewood strips, for which they did a better job. Do not use the ring cutter for harder metals. I tried to use it for a key ring that I couldn't get to open, but the edge of the cutter is no longer usable except on soft metals like copper or 24K gold. The belt sheath opening has a tool-adjustable angle of 45 degrees or smaller. It is possible to fit normal width and tactical width belts tightly. The carrier bag strap needs the pressure from your body to maintain a secure position.

👤I keep a pair of these in the custom built med-Kits in each car, starting with a small pelican case, which is cheerful and cheap, at best. I keep a pair in a case to use as kitchen shears. They are easy to clean up and handle a lot of things. You realize that the tools are capable of handling all the things you wouldn't want to use your good cutlery for once you open them. If you use the wrong part of the blades for harder materials like steel wire, they will notch out. I only gave them 4 stars because I think a tool like this should be made with a stronger steel or softer steel, like LC200N or H1, which would be more resistant to rust.

6. LEATHERMAN Skeletool Lightweight Multitool Stainless

👤I bought the Skeleton for my job because I needed something immediately to get the job done and perform a lot of maintenance. The skeletool is a light 5.1 ounces. The knife can be accessed from the outside of the tool, and the tools on the Skeletool are the essentials of what you need for everyday use. The wire cutter function is flawless. It looks elegant and feels good in the hand. I made a mistake buying a multi tool before I bought my Skeletool. The form factor, ergonomics, weight, and quality were all lacking in the Crucial. It was heavier, the pliers were weak, and I only had one hand to access the drivers. The Skeletool is back. The locking system for the driver heads is the reason for four stars. There is a small tab that is used to tighten the drivers. I have had it come loose in me a few times, but since I became aware of how it works, it hasn't given me any issues. If you want a quality multi tool for edc, small repairs around house, shop, and that simply works, you will not be disappointed with the Skeletool.

👤This tool has been used for a long time. If you modify the knife. It's easy to get there. If you use a knife less than 10% of the time, check out this. The caribiner is lightweight and you can open paint cans with it. The pliers will hurt you. One day you'll be gripping something hard and they'll close fast, but it might not be today or tomorrow. The skin on your palm will turn into a blood blisters if they close tight. There is a huge problem in my opinion. Use with caution.

👤Inexpensive saw for a leather man. I bought this tool about 2 weeks ago on the recommendation of some fellow techs, but it is very stiff and no straight blade. It's a great tool for a computer guy. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. I've found the pliers to be fine tipped enough for some occasions when I would normally use a needle nose pliers. The wire cutter is great for zip ties. The bit driver is the best multi tool I've used. I've been able to mount things to plywood with one arm of the tool at a 90 angle. The knife is sharp and comfortable in the hand. I will be buying more bits for the driver in the future. The only complaint I have is the lack of a straight edge blade. It has been very hard to open the pliers. I would rather have it stiff than loosey-goosey. The Leatherman Skeletool is the official multi-tool of "did you try turning it off and back on again?"

👤The Skeletool CX is the more expensive version of the Skeletool. If you loose a tool like I did, it's a good reason to never replace it. The carbon fibre version of the tool does not do anything for the tool, and the only thing it makes lighter is your wallet. The Skeletool is a great multitool because it's the tools you need, not the ones you don't. This isn't a massive tool with every device stuck together where nothing works, everything works well. The knife is very sharp, it comes from a factory, and the steel has some thickness to it, unlike a traditional swiss army knife. Quality steel, one handed opening and locking blade are the key features of the knife for me. You can open this knife with a single hand, as the knife folds out when the tool is closed. This means that the knife can be reached quickly, without having to open the tool. I prefer a locking blade, but I am aware that it is illegal in the UK to carry a tool with a blade over a certain length. The precision of manufacture shows when the blade locks open, as the blade clicks locked, but then will not move even slightly back or forth, you would think it was welded in place. The blade lock can be pushed to let the blade fold back in. The pliers. The pliers are very good, but not good for a multitool. They are excellent. The tips of the pliers are perfect for use as tweezers. The pliers are stable and work well. If you apply twisting force to the tips of the pliers, they will not budge. I've stripped wires with these pliers, and they're my favourite, even when I have the choice of any of the many pairs in my arsenal. Another excellent implementation of a screwdriver is the screwdriver. Two screwdriver bits are included in the tool. This gives you two phillips bits and two flathead bits. You can apply a lot of Torque to a screw with the help of the second arm of the tool. I lost the second bit when it fell out of the tool, but I have had no other problems here. I don't think I've ever needed a set of 20 additional bits, but you can buy a separate set that will fit this tool, giving you about 20 additional bits. The carabiner clip is more useful than it looks. I used to use this when rigging stage lights to clip the tool to wires up in the rigging to avoid dropping it. Which is useful. This is a collection of the tools you need on the go, and it does a couple of other things. If you often need a variety of tools, then you need to carry a toolbox with you. The tools on this are excellent, not incapable, flimsy, and borderline novelty. It will probably be out of the box, but it will loosen up in a few weeks. I was surprised when I mangled to break the pliers, having owned this tool for about a year and the same tool previously. I still think Leatherman make the best multi tools on the market. The pliers snapped clean off the entire jaw, and not at any of the narrow or weak points you would think to be. I assume this was a defect in the steel which lead to this weakness, but I have the chance to test out the 25 year guarantee that Leatherman provide. I used the UK Leatherman warranty address instead of using the Amazon guarantee. I simply sent it to them in an envelope with a note of my return address and contact details, I did not email or phone first. I didn't bother looking at the warranty information because it was obvious that there was no description of the problem. I got a brand new tool in the post after I posted it. They just dealt with it, no delay, no questioning if I had been using the tool in an inappropriate way, which I really appreciate. The final feature of this tool is a warranty that works exactly as you hope it will, which is something I almost expect to have to justify myself. The Leatherman tools are the best brand tools to buy, because they have an excellent warranty if their high build quality does fail, which is something I don't worry about.

Brand: Leatherman

👤The tool was in a Leatherman box. There is a scam.

👤The pliers were easy to break. These were a Yule gift because of the amount of money that was spent on them. Not happy.

👤Here it is, it's a Leatherman. If you're still reading reviews trying to decide if this is the tool for you, then you should buy a newspaper. The review of a Leatherman is hands on. Most of what you'll find is based on innovations of the original. You could buy that plier if you lose it. The pro tool has a built in flashlight. It will work in a pinch and not anything else, so don't worry. None of us would accomplish anything today with all the tools I won't cover. The ability to use regular bits with an additional kit. Do you want to know what to buy? Look at the warranties. I hope it doesn't get stolen before 25 years.

👤The LeatherMan Wave that was stolen from my backpack was replaced by this. My old LeatherMan Wave was always good to me. I thought LeatherMan could improve on the multitool knife I had. The new Wave + comes with incredibly sharp knives, so buyers should beware. Being able to replace the wire cutter with replacement heads is a great feature. LeatherMan knocked out the box with its sexy looks. It's a good thing. LeatherMan Wave is something I like. Is the 25 year warranty? I can only think of one negative thing. New LeatherMans are a little bit stiff and have to be worked on. 2. The multitool's joints are secured with screws. Consumers can't adjust the tension on the multitool themselves. 3. The screwdriver can break if dropped the wrong way. This happened with my old Wave. Be careful. You might have to invoke the warranty. I didn't have the chance to do that with my old Wave before it was stolen.

👤Have you ever had to use a small saw, electronics screwdriver, and bottle opener at the same time? Me not. This is a quality piece of equipment, but it's too much for edc. A Wingman has all the tools I need to put in a multitool, plus a pocket clip and spring-assisted opening. The Wingman's blade isn't as good at this Wave. The Wave has more tools and feels better built. All those tools are too much for me to carry around all day.

👤This is for you if you want quality, ease of use, and durability. This model works well with my profession. A different model might be better for a profession. If a multi tool is what you are looking for, buy a leatherman. I have 2 of them because I can't go with them. One of the things I have found out is that broken ones are not meant to be used to do something.

👤The leatherman has a multitool. The screwdriver has interchangable tips. The tool has a standard screwdriver which can be used for opening paint cans or screws. The two tone is what I like. A good tool. One hand operation of the blades is a plus. The scissors are adequate. The pliers have wire cutter blades. I like the sheath. I have a leather sheath, but always choose the original case. The knife blades have an edge. A terrific tool! Chris.

👤My first Skeletool was gone when this one arrived. This one was a present. The previous one was the CX. I noticed that the blade was loose when I opened it. I have had to tighten it multiple times. I put a cleaner on it to keep it clean. I called Leatherman and they said that the Locktite they put on the screws at the factory didn't finish drying, which could lead to this problem. The plastic washer is between the blade and the screw head. It looks like it has been damaged. I am not happy with this and expect better. If the seller would allow me to send back the faulty one I have, I would revise this review and hopefully post a positive one.

👤It's a great light source. It's small and can fix things. I wouldn't trust it on the road. My road standard is the Leatherman MUT and the Para 2 for a proper blade. It's not a heavy duty tool, but a small trinket in your pocket that you don't notice because of its size and weight. I would buy the cheapest option they have. It's the best multitool I have ever owned. Use it like a pistol and get to your rifle. For at home utility keep in pocket, I choose this over the full size Leathermans.

👤A pocket tool. Also very handy. It is a cutting pliers, a small knife, a combination straight screwdriver and aPhillips all in one. It doesn't do any of these tools well and is not comfortable to use. A small knife blade, an awkward pliers, and two screwdriver tips. The little thing is heavy. It's pretty, and handy. I would buy it again, but wish for better.

👤This tool is a great addition to my carry. I already carry a high quality knife and having quality pliers and a strong multi-head screwdriver were the key elements for me. The blade on this tool is very nice. I expected a bit more than that. I have two small issues with this tool, but I would give it 5 stars. 1. The screwdriver heads have a small thumb release lock that is used to secure the head into the handle. It is too easy to pull out without using the lock release. 2. It is a great addition to my daily tools, but you have to be careful opening and closing it, as it will pinch your hand.

👤It is always a good idea to carry a knife that is about the size of the tool. I replaced my knife for the tool and so far it's been good. It is extremely useful to have pliers, a screwdriver and a knife. Some people carry a lot more. I have a few things in my backpack. This is nice in my pocket. The silver/black one has a good color scheme.

👤The knife and bit drivers are excellent. The pliers on the other hand are not the same as the ones on the other hand. One half snapped off as it was being trimmed. This was a very expensive leatherman. Look for something that will be used a lot.

9. LEATHERMAN Multitool Magnetic Locking Accessible

LEATHERMAN Multitool Magnetic Locking Accessible

There is a bonus feature. If you remove the adjusting screw, you'll find a hex-bit adapter built right in. Small and powerful. This 3.3-ounce workhorse is built for every hand and has 8 tools and their free technology in it. EnhANCED ERGONOMICS: It's easy to use, it's in the palm of your hand, and it has one-hand access. They offer a 25-year warranty on their Leatherman, so you can be confident that it will last a lifetime. The perfect lightweight everyday carry package includes a variety of screwdrivers, a bottle opener, a pry tool, and a 420hc knife. Magnetic locks reduce friction and provide feedback. It is unreliable for a lifetime of use. Magnetic locks reduce friction and provide feedback. It is unreliable for a lifetime of use.

👤Really? You want me to buy a pocket clip at another website. The person sells a knife with no clip. Maybe I overreacted but that is ridiculous. One hand opening of the knife is not doable. Since the SHOT show, I have been waiting for the free line. I'm pretty let down. I guess I'll have to wait for the K2.

👤I wanted to like this one more. I need to replace my C33T that I gave to a friend. I have been waiting for the T2 to come out for almost six months. There's nothing wrong with it. It feels a little bit cheaper than I would have expected. ThePhillips head is not square and it keeps it from gripping screws well. The sides of the mini flat screwdriver and regular flat screwdriver are sharpened to be box cutter/package opener. I expect them to lead to many more oops. All and all is a good pocket knife. The Leatherman C33T is a superior product for the same price.

👤It seems that quality is ok. The multi tools include SOG and Leatherman. They did not design with a pocket clip. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Before buying, you should read the reviews. You are off my wish list.

👤Lighter than one would expect, but not at the cost of being durable, this knife is nice to have on the go. It doesn't feel awkward in the hand, I tested it a bit. I like it. I put my son's crib together with this knife. I open my packages with it. The included awl is good enough for knotting. I used the smaller flathead on the awl to replace my laptop's memory. Not coming with a pocket clip is a huge miss. The pocket clip can be purchased at a premium price, but it should come with the value prop'. There is a reduced star.

👤I was excited by the free concept, but the product left me feeling sad. A full two stars off for the knife blade deployment and not including the clip or lanyard on the T2 smh.

👤It has a few tools that I use the most and is much lighter in weight than a multi tool. The deployment of the knife is very awkward and it doesn't come with a pocket clip. It's too thick for having only a few tools. I don't think ill use it very much. Hopefully they can solve these issues.

👤I love this multitool. I've always liked the idea of a Swiss army knife, but it just doesn't work for me. Having a better blade steel with the same level of function is amazing. Leatherman walked away with his girlfriend.

👤I ordered the smaller of the two to have a carry everywhere knife because I am a knife enthusiast and still use my first generation Leatherman multi tool. I didn't like it very much when I received it. I would like to examine the thumb of the person that can open the main blade. I have several one hand operation knives, and this isn't close to being as easy as those. The other tools have small hooks that are supposed to be easy to grab, but they are too small to grab just one. The quality seems to be okay. I'm pretty sure it would last a long time. I was hoping for a better experience.

10. LEATHERMAN Micra Keychain Multitool Stainless

LEATHERMAN Micra Keychain Multitool Stainless

Always on hand. The Skeletool is 5 ounces and has a pocket clip so it's always ready to work. Their most popular mini-tool is perfect for tackle boxes, pockets, fanny packs, and keychains. A knife, tweezers, file, spring-action scissors, and more are packed into a multitool that never gives up. They offer a 25-year warranty on their Leatherman, so you can be confident that it will last a lifetime. You can take care of yourself with a variety of personal care tools, including a nail file and tweezers. Always on hand. The key ring attachment on the Micra ensures that it is always within reach and ready to work.

👤I had to leave my Leatherman Squirt with my family so I bought the Micra. I have had the Squirt for a few years and the Micra is a little cheaper, so I will get the Squirt back. The Squirt's knife is a better tool than the Micra, but I prefer the Squirt's phillips screwdriver, Hook on the file is handy, and Tools open from the inside, so they stay cleaner. Each time you open it, you have to move your fingers around. Tweezers are worthless and I feel like I will nick myself when opening it. The file is only one-sided. The tool is loud to use and may get quieter as time goes on. No tools. I use them a lot for bicycle maintenance. Scissors are small. I can't think of a task where I would prefer the scissors over the knife blade or the tiny scissors on the squirt. You aren't using these scissors to make something. I don't know what I will do with this tool after I get my Squirt back, and it's so annoying that I may buy another Squirt.

👤I had this exact model for over 15 years. The build quality of the replacement was vastly inferior to what I had ordered. I don't know if Leatherman moved their factories or changed the material, but this tool is nowhere as good as it was once. The scissors don't cut as well as they could. I used to be happy to pay a premium price for a tool, but the quality seems to have fallen.

👤I like pocket knives. I have always carried one, even though I can't check a bag, since my Dad gave me one when I was 8 years old. I bought my first Leatherman Micra a few years ago and it was the perfect pocket knife. The most versatile feature of the tool is the scissors that open up when you open it. I use them multiple times a day, from using them as scissors, to just using one of them to open a package. The main blade, screwdrivers, bottle cap opener, and other features of the MIcra are great. The scissors on the Micra are the center of attention. They will cut through anything. I use them to cut wire up to 10 gauge, open tough plastic retail packages, clip off zip ties, and many other things. They don't get damaged and seem to keep their sharpness for a long time. I bought a new one because I thought I'd lost my MIcra. It was driving me crazy not having the MIcra available when I needed it. I bought another knife at a retail store that had a similar design to the Micra, but the butterfly accessory was a small set of pliers rather than scissors, and it had built-in scissors that were similar to those found on most small knives. The first day I used it, I was crazy. I don't use pliers very often and the scissors are hard to use. So...off to Amazon to buy another Micra! I found my old one about 2 weeks after I bought the new one. My old friend and I were together again. I use the newer one as my primary pocket tool and have moved the older one to my travel kit because it is sharper. If you're looking for a pocket tool that will last a long time, is easy to use, and doesn't require a belt-mounted case, the Micra is the one for you. Leatherman products are made in the USA and not in China.

11. Leatherman 831425 Wingman Multi Tool Silver

Leatherman 831425 Wingman Multi Tool Silver

All-locking features mean that every tool and knife, including the pliers, will lock when fully opened, keeping you safe and the tools securely in place. A locking blade is a knife blade that is locked into place. The replaceable pocket clip allows the user to wear their multi-tool attached to a pocket or belt loop without the use of a sheath. Wingman has a one-hand opening blade and spring-action jaws. There are 14 tools included, including Needlenose pliers, Regular pliers, wire cutter, and Spring-action Scissors. The closed length was 3.8 in and the blade length was 2.6 in. The tool is easy to use. This tool can be used for a variety of projects. The Leatherman 25-year warranty is on this item. 👤I am a field mechanic. I work with wiring. Running back and forth to the truck can waste a lot of time for me. This has saved me a lot of time and trips. It's not a replacement for the right tool, but if you have one or two screws to turn or one wire to strip it's a huge time saver. There are a few tools that work well in the trades. The blade for opening boxes is hooked and works great for opening wiring harnesses or tubing. The scissors can be used to remove small shielding components. I think most people will find that it's not that bad to carry it in the pocket, even if it is a full sized folding knife. I like the fact that you have constant access to the main blade and don't use the normal one handed opening of pocket knives. The fit and finish of mine is excellent. Someone took the time to polish all the stamped surfaces and kept sharp tools in their possession. I appreciate craftsmanship more than most and the design of the tool is simple and functional, but the price point makes it sin to use it. I would rather buy a knife with a sticky blade from a guy in Oregon that will warranty it until I'm a ripe old man than a knife with a smooth blade from someone who makes 1 dollar a day overseas. I'm pretty sure the steel here is Chinese, but there isn't much avoiding that these days. This tool is not expensive. It will pay for itself in the hands of a professional if you have it, and it's a lot of value for the money.

👤As advertised, a genuine Leatherman. I lost the Leatherman Rev. I chose the Wingman because it was the only one that didn't have spring-loaded pliers in the Rev, which made it difficult to open them manually. The Wingman has a tool for opening pliers. It is not strong, but it has made a difference so far. The Rev does not have a pair of one-handed scissors. The scissors and knife are accessible without opening the tool. The Rev came with a large-ish sheath with a flap, but the nylon sheath is completely different. After a year, it was starting to wear out. Even though the tool is the same size, the sheath that came with the Wingman is just about the same size as the tool and has a snap closure. Time will tell if the nylon is more tightly woven.

👤I have to say that I'm a little disappointed in the design of most of the new Leathermans, as an owner of many multitools that I've purchased over the years. I'm not sure if "anvil cut" style of cutter is right for the wingman because it makes cutting small things difficult. The grip surface of the pliers was the main negative change. They used to be made with very fine shallow grooves, but all the new tools have deep aggressive teeth and lines that cannot be used to grip rip cord in cables. I can't use the Leatherman tools anymore at my place of business. I can use the gerber M600 or the 18 year old Supertool. I like the idea of being able to access the blade without opening the tool, but it's the only improvement in my opinion.
