👤I actually found a Viking sharpening stone. I take multiple knives into the field for different things. I like to go deep into the back country and think about the weight of items. I have a lot of wet stones that I Rangerband onto my sheaths. I carry a stack of plates. I was looking for a way to stream my kit. The pendent of the viking was what I used to do the trick around my neck. The rounded side of the stone is perfect for the tricky spot, it was particularly awesome on the Kukri. The stone has a lot of different colors on it. I was going to take it out of the box but ended up liking the leather lanyard. I would be interested in one that was the same but twice the size as a large option, and a palm sized one for backpack. The company called me thinking I had a complaint because they wanted to make something right that quickly. I'll be looking for future products.
👤I buy a necklace once a year and this is the one I chose this year. It grows on you. I was disappointed in the stone I got because it was bright white. After a few days of wearing the oils from my body gave it a darker look and some features were brought out nicely. The leather is of good quality and it starts out stiff. After a few days it gets better. The stone can be used for many different purposes, especially for its size. It will be an oil based stone because it's a necklace. It may not be for everyone. I like it. The shipping was quick and did not reach out to the seller.
👤The best one you have with you is the old adage. It's why I love my phone's ability to take great photos most of the time, as I don't always have a big body camera with me. I love the Viking Whetstone from Wazoo. If you're like me, you don't have a whetstone around when you might need it, because you never know when you'll need it. Until now! I looped it onto a supply kit I already have packed for camping because I like that it is easy to wear as a pendant. It is light and compact, and it sharpens well. I've tried oil and water in two different places, one in the wild and the other in the kitchen, and it did the same thing. It's either going to work or not, right? Depending on the blade, the size of the stone can be problematic. If they offered multiple sizes, you could choose the one that was best for your application, but if you have a variety of blades, you'd want the stone with you at all times. I'm glad to have it with me when it's most useful.
👤I like to use knives. I have quite a few of them and this is a great thing to have. I went to town on my favorites after sitting outside in the sunshine. S30V is a very high end steel. It can take an extreme amount of abuse, it is very rust resistant, and it is also a chore to sharpen. I put the best edge I have ever put on a benchmade guillotine. CPM-M4 is my next favorite steel. It holds a better edge than S30V and it can chip. If you have abused it enough. M4 is a high end high carbon steel and it can cause problems. This made a difference on my M4 blades. It took a long time but it was worth it. I went to work on my very abused Cold Steel SRK 6” fixed blade made out of SK-5 a Japanese high carbon steel comparison to 1055 high carbon steel. It is common for knives to be made of 10xx high carbon steel. It will rust very quickly. It is very important that the blade is free of rust and the porous Arkansas stones will make it hard for you to see. I use ceramic for this. I recommend this product to everyone who needs to keep their knives ready. I wear this all day. The oil from your skin should work.

The multitool is your awesome choice if you want to give your loved ones a sense of security. It's a great gift for an adventure lover.
👤This was a gift for a man who knows how to use a tool box. It's great to be in the car for those moments. My husband liked it.
The Black clash is a great tool for any hiker, hunter, angler, gardener, mechanic, Backpacker or anyone in need of a solid, reliable EDC. 10 inch (25.4 cm) overall length with a blade length of 4.4 inches (11.2 cm) and a weight of 8.8 ounces. It isdurable: The blade is made of 7Cr17MoV black oxide high carbon steel with a black aluminum handle. It's permissible. It's ideal for everyday carry because of its convenient pocket clip and ambidextrous thumb knobs. The blade will not slip with the security of the liner lock. The seatbelt and glassbreaker are curios.
👤I carry a couple of S&W folding knives and they are very well made. The folder is large and strong and has the same quality as all their products. I own a folding knife that is one of the largest I own. The only downside is that it's not a spring assist or M.A.G.I.C. Assist, it's a S&W brand. It's a high quality knife at an affordable price, so you would definitely want it in a collection. If you liked the review, please help me to give honest/unbiased insight into products I have used and you have questions about. Interested in a product but don't know enough about it to request a review? Please let me know. I will see what I can do. Thank you.
👤I know I'm a total knife whore. I was motivated by reviews when I bought the S&W BG2, not just on Amazon, but all sorts of knife forums. I was looking for an edc that was rugged and capable of taking a beating, but also had the emergency capabilities I wanted. Believe me. This knife has never failed me. It's pretty heavy, which I really like. It wasn't designed to be used for delicate cutting. It's like a sword in your pocket. If you're looking for an edc that is just a pocket knife, look elsewhere. It's big! That's okay too. I'm big. You might not want to get this if you have small hands. If you tend to beat the knives out of them, you might have trouble handling them. You might want to buy some gloves. It was very sharp. I have to shake my head because I see so many Q&As and reviews about it not being razor sharp out of the box. There is a If you're in a line of work that requires you to be 'razor sharp' or something, then that's one thing. Why are you worried about a razor sharp instrument if you don't need it? My experience has been that anyone who insists that knives be razor sharp at all times has more scars, and less respect for the blade, because of accidents or not respecting it. I'm not sure. Look. The knife is very good. Anyone that passes on a tool like this is a fool.
👤I own dozens of knives and I was interested in this knife because it seemed like it would fit my large hands. There is a If you've worked with your hands, you've developed them beyond keyboards and manicures. You can use this knife. It will shave hair. You can't complain about the quality of the knife or the price. This doesn't have the bearing system of $100+ knives, but it snaps open with ease. The belt/rope cutter is my only complaint. If you don't pay attention, the cutter can get into your clothing. Not a deal breaker at all!
👤This knife is not a safe knife, the liner lock of the knife at least I received was not well designed or bad quality control, as you can see from others' review. I thought the knife was open when I opened it, but it wasn't. A lot of blood came out, my nail was cut 5mm wide, with a gentle sweep, the knife suddenly closed. It hurts after 3 weeks. I found that the blade was not always locked by the liner lock after opening, because the liner lock was soft, not that rigid, as another knife I bought from Amazon, which has very strong and thicker liner lock. It won't give me a fake lock impression.
The old swords of old are brought into the new era with a sleek and sharp design. Please use it with care. Made in the U.S. CPM S35VN STEEL OUTDOOR KNIFE. The ultimate bush craft knife, camping knife and hunting knife is made in the U.S. A boot knife and a perfectly balanced fixed blade belt knife weigh 7. Measures 9 ounces. 9 inches overall. The MI carta handle with finger choli is ideal for any knife with a full tang blade. The Kayden sheath knife has an easy to use locking mount for fixed blade knives. Take care of your tactical knife with sheath and they will take care of you; SOG blades are built to last and they consider all repair and replacement requests. Take care of your tactical knife with sheath and they will take care of you; SOG blades are built to last and they consider all repair and replacement requests.
👤If you're looking for an excellent tactical knife in the under $200 dollar range, I found two very similar choices. I bought both for comparison purposes because my knife collection isn't quite complete after many years. The SOG Pillar is a brand new knife that is not a lot of people have seen yet. On the right side of the blade, there is a sign that says "USA made". The CPM-S35VN premiumstainless steel blade is highly durable and will resist the effects of harsh conditions. The five inch blade has a heavy duty jimping at the grip for enhanced retention in wet or bloody conditions. The clip point keeps a nice width at the tip for piercing without worry of breaking. The knife has a distinctive look that is all business, and it has a curved blade. The skull popper has a lanyard hole. This is a tactical design that will serve hunters well. I've seen a man field dress a caribou with a knife blade on his Leatherman tool, which proves you can do that if you are experienced, but some knives will be better suited for the task than others. The SOG Pillar's blade has enough belly on it to be a decent skinning blade for any hunter. The knife is light on the back end, but it feels natural and balanced in the hand, and the canvas handles are very comfortable. The knife is instantly accessible no matter how you rig it, because the sheath uses a very tight fit to do away with safety straps. The locking mount on the sheath is low profile. Some might shy away in sticker shock but a knife of this quality is worth every cent, especially when you come to depend on it over time. This is a great blade. The tale of two knives is continuing with my review of the Benchmade fixed Contego 183 reverse tanto.
👤It is difficult to know where to start. I have been looking at this knife for several weeks because of its perfect size, CPM S35VN steel, and attractive blade design. I am a knife lover and avid collector, but I shy away from the expensive ones because I would become homeless quickly if I bought all the ones I wanted. Since there was no guarantee that the price would stay that low, I was willing to gamble on it. I opened the box after the blade arrived. I was worried about the color of the handle since the description said it was black, but several reviews said it was grey. I was happy to see that it was mostly black with a little grey mixed in. The handle is comfortable and solid, but I have felt better on less expensive knives. The look of the blade steel is amazing, with a mixture of stonewashed and satin finishing. The S35VN steel is of high quality. The knife is 5 stars. The sheath left something to be desired. The knife doesn't sit firmly when sheathed despite the fact that it comes with a variety of carrying options. If carried sideways or blade up, it would probably fall out. I would expect a better quality sheath to match the excellence of the blade at this price point. I have included in the provided pictures some of the other knives and sheaths that are of the same size that I have purchased for comparison. None of those blades cost more than $50. I still give this knife a five star rating because the blade is good enough to make up for the drawbacks of the sheath, and it is easier to find a better sheath at a cheaper price than it is to find such an excellent knife and quality sheath together for a cheaper price. The knife itself is worth it if you are on the fence about it. You will not want to drop or lose a knife in this price range, so be prepared to find a quality sheath or use the one provided in tip down configuration.

The full titanium blade is 49 INCH. The fixed blade knife is a field-tested combat knife, camping knife, boot knife and hunting knife, and measures 9.6 inches in total length. The black titanium nitride coating is black. Fixed blade knives are hardened at the atomic level with SOG's cryogenic heat treatment. DeLUXE SHEATH: A capable hiking knife, rescue knife, military knife or outdoor knife sheath; sharp knife includes line cutter, ferrochromium fire starter and sharpener. Take care of your tactical knife with sheath and they will take care of you; SOG fixed blade knives with sheath are built to last and they consider all repair and replacement requests. 👤The knife is nice, but the description does not mention the country of origin.
👤The sheath should have been made better for the ability to remove the knife quickly, so it gets four stars. The knife handle has hooks and attachment high up so trying to grab it is like grabbing a needle with only your fingers. Tactical use of this sheath is terrible. There is a If you practice taking the knife out and putting it back in, it will work if you do that enough. The built in sharpener is decent. The seat belt cutter has a sliding plate that protects it from being exposed when not in use. The end of the full tang handle is better than nothing because it is the only place to break glass if attacked. The plastic handle feels great, but you don't know how it will handle wet hands or sweaty hands. The knife feels really good when my thumb goes to the front of the handle, which is a little curved on the blade. The fire starter rod built in the sheath is a really cool extra but wonder how many uses it will be able to handle before it is replaced. It's a sog. I think you can get replacement parts easy. If you want to use the sheath for future use, you can remove the part that makes it hard to get on it. The knife and sheath combo is giving a thumbs up, but as far as the ease of use in an emergency for quick removal is concerned, it gets a big thumbs down.
👤I like this knife. I knew I wanted a different type of handle when I got this knife, but I was willing to pay the price for it. The para-cord cutter is useless, as others have said it is easier to use the blade. Maybe I'm missing something. I like the built in sharpener. There are lots of reviews that go into detail on this knife. The belt attachment is the reason for 4 stars. The belt attachment is not easy to replace. The knife has a snap in it that pulls the sheath too. I had to tie the para-cord around my leg. Not bad, but not necessary. A better retention system is needed. Now 5 stars. I am kind of stupid. You can put a belt through the slots on the belt clip. I've tried this for a few days and it works. I should have figured this one out since I make knives. I was well for 7 days in country.
👤Is it made in China? No, made in Taiwan? Yes! They do a great job as well. The design of SOG knives is wonderful, and the workmanship is amazing. I've owned a few of their knives, and I have good things to say about them. You have other issues if you don't like them solely because of where they're made. This is my favorite SOG handle. The slight arch makes it fit in your hand.

👤I wanted to start my "survivalist" kick with something small, inexpensive, and cool. I picked it up on a hunch. I'll have a video review as well. The internal tools are made of steel and are thick. Not worried about breaking them. The wrench is one of my favorites. That is enough to make sure this goes in my bag. The blade of the axe is not sharp. I have never had an axe that was pre-sharpened. I will be testing it on some branches in my video, after taking it to the grinding stone. It's not as good as a folding saw, but it will work for small branches to start a fire. The fold-out screw driver set is a neat feature. The axe head has bits on it. It will work in a pinch. That's what you're expecting from a multi-tool like this. I would get a screw driver if I wanted one. If I want a lot of things in a single package. The handle is an issue for me. It's bass wood, the same wood used for inexpensive guitars. I worry that it might break if it gets bashed against some rocks or I drop my gear on it. The rest of the tool is very good. I might make my own handle for this. You should upgrade! It's a good thing.
👤The knife is really nice and I've had it for a few days. I like it a lot. I like how it looks. Not to big or small in the middle. It comes with a full sheath for the belt and a plastic cover for the hatchet blade. It's not heavy because it has a blade, can opener, screwdriver, and a lot of other tools on it. The hatchet blade was sharp but not as sharp as I would have liked. I have not used the hammer head yet. I recommend this for anyone who is into camping. Something different is what the person wants in the tool box. If you want to carry it around in a pouch, it looks like you have an Apple device.
👤Purchase for my camping gear. It is small and compact, but has many different tools. You cannot use this axe to split firewood. I don't need a real axe but I can use a small one to make kindling. It is easy to pack and store outdoors since this is so small. I chose this one because it comes with a small hammer. It is very rare for me to use a special hammer, but this built-in hammer is good enough for me. The knives are very sharp, but I haven't used them in a long time, and I can't tell if they will last.
👤1. I don't understand why it was greasy. 2. I think it's a good thing that the ax is sharp but at the same time it's dangerous because I can get cut 3. It is small and light. 4. The knives are hard to take out. I don't understand why it has oil on it, and that thing that looks like hair, but I will assume it is from the pouch, and I will give more updates later.

👤The knife is well made and sharp. The tool will be useful around the house.
👤It is definitely worth the money. It was a gift for my son and he reaches for it a lot.
👤I didn't think I would use much, but the product is very useful and comes in handy a lot.
👤I bought this for my husband and me who ride our bikes everywhere, due to lack of vehichle. When we are on the road, you wouldn't believe the things that go wrong with our electric bikes. Everything is perfect except for the fact that it is in a holster. It is very difficult to do. Please make this easier. It is a perfect tool for an emergency.
👤I love the case that holds my belt. Everything you need is in the tool.
👤Customer service is good. I got one star from 2 to 3. I will use it more and see if it works. The product is heavy and I wouldn't carry it on a belt. The whistle doesn't work as you can see in the picture, the right side of the exit hole is missing a piece that doesn't work, that's what made me give it a below 3 star. The fire starter did not work as well as I would have liked. When I contacted the vendor about the magnesium rod, I was told to remove the coating. I told them I had to remove the black coating to get the fire starter to work, and they responded to me that I didn't know how to use the fire starter. They offered to replace it with a discount. 👤I used it to protect myself on my bike rides.
The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D. The angle of the edge is 20 degrees. Overall length is 11.875 inches. The most famous knife design in the world. The fightning knife has a leather handle.
👤The knife that was inside the box is not a ka-bar. I'm the box that says "knife made in USA" on the actual knife it says is made in China and the knife does not say ka bar and the blade is a fake. I thought it was a duplicate. It is not a real thing.
👤I bought this knife to use as a utility knife in a camper. A quality leather sheath, and a genuine KaBar, which is sharp enough to shave the hair off the back of my hand. The USMC stamp is a plus. My first KaBar was lost when I was wounded. I bought a model 1209 at the USMCPX in 1970 to replace my old one. I've used it for 47 years, but wanted to leave something in the camper so it would always be there. KaBar has my vote. There is a The new full size model with a 7" blade is larger than the 1209 and has a classic stacked leather handle and pinned butt cap. A good utility knife has an edge angle of 20 degrees. The sheath got darker and more pliant after being treated with oil. The knives will probably last longer than I will. Highly recommended.
👤A nice knife. The handle has a leather grip. If you're worried about Chinese imitations, I suggest you click on the one-star reviews and look at the pictures others have posted. The knife I received at the end of the year was not one of the ones on the product page. I got the real thing, with a "Made in Mexico" stamp on the blade and a "Orlean, New York" Ka-Bar stamp on the cross guard. There is a sticker on the sheath. For the leather grip and sheath, I used Sno-Seal. Follow the directions and heat up the leather with a hair dryer, rub in the product with a cloth and wipe away the excess. I like that look of the leather being slightly darkened by wax. You can use a lot of different things to treat the leather, but I believe beeswax is the best option for a knife grip, because oils will make the leather softer, which you don't want on the grip of your knife. The leather grip on this knife should be very hard. Beeswax does not protect against softening. It should be done once per year. Oiling the blade can be done with gun oil, olive oil, or both. Olive oil can go rancid in hot temperatures and mechanical oils aren't good for dressing game. I decided to get this knife oil because I'm not likely to kill a wild boar with this knife. It will last a long time. I like an easy solution for sharpening my knives because I am not an expert. I have a few pocket sharpeners, but I like this one the best. I have used the coarse carbide option before, and I don't think it's worth it. The fine ceramic is the best for sharpening. Happy New Year.
The purpose of the design is to make it easy to use in extreme or emergency situations. The Rush Deer Sharp Pocket Knife is made of 8 CR14Mov STAINLESS STEEL with a high strength and long life. The closed length is 4.5'' and the weight is 3 ounces. It's ideal for everyday carry because of the pocket clip and lanyard hole. Sports a lightweight Micarta handle provide secure grip and comfortable in-hand feel. The small knife is reliable for various activities, such as camping, hiking, fishing, cycling, and indoor and outdoor activities. One-handed deployment. Ball bearings in the pivot allow effortless blade opening via flipper, safety liner lock secures the knife open and prevents unexpected closure. Have you ever seen a more unusual gift idea? Whether it's a birthday gift for him, anniversary gift for him, fathers day gift for him, or Christmas gift for him, this engraved pocket knife will bring smile to his/ her face. They stand behind their products and warranty. Their priority is your satisfaction. They offer a lifetime warranty against defects.
👤I'm an avid knife collector and this one caught my eye. I received it a few days ago and have been playing with it. The blade is sharp. The blade finish isn't the best. It has good ergonomics. The orange at the pivot is a nice touch and it goes well with the brown gfn scales that offer a good grip. There is no blade play after a lockup. The close is very smooth. You can't beat this knife. I would recommend it without any problems.
👤The build quality is nice, but my copy had a bit of a vertical blade play and lock up that was a bit premature. The lock could easily fail with a thin liner lock knife like this one. I can fix it, but I have to disassemble the knife to do so. It is often difficult to correct vertical play. There is a lot to like about this place. The knife is centered. The pivot uses ball bearing washers for a smooth opening and the orange accent on the pivot is a nice touch. The tan micarta scales look nice. There is only one position, the right side tip up pocket clip and the clip point blade is stone washed. The blade is made from a Chinese steel. There is a I would give this knife a better rating if it weren't for the problems.
👤I appreciate things that are made of good quality and are durable. I will get to the other parts of the knife later. It's screwed together and can loosen over time. If something gets loose here, I like to get a star sockets wrench and tighten it up. The blade is not very sharp out of the box, but it's easy to fix and I expect that. This is not a knife you would use to display and be a work of art, on the contrary, you would carry this on your side or in your pocket backpacking, it's really light because of how it's constructed. I like the feature of the Micarta handle, I call it phenolic, others call it Micarta. The material made from chondric is made by applying heat and pressure to layers of paper or glass cloth. If that tells you how tuff this stuff is, then forms of phenolic are used as heat shields on space re-entry vehicles. If your hand is wet, you should still be able to hold this knife well because the handle is made from the same material as the resin. It's beautiful in its own way, but it's not wood, I like it. There is a hole in the back of the knife that you can loop a lanyard through.
👤I liked the Rush Deer knife so I grabbed it when I saw this one again. This knife has a blade. The knife handle is about half an inch in thickness. It's light so it can fit in your pocket. The deep carry pocket clip can be removed, but only on the side of the handle. The rounded metal edges make it more comfortable to hold and not wear out your pockets. The handle has a non-slip grip. It is very easy to open a blade with one hand, just put your finger in the lever and it will open. When you put enough pressure on the lever to get past the detent that keeps the knife closed, it just snaps open. It's easy to open with both hands. The knife won't open in your pocket if the detent is strong. The blade has no thumb stud, hole or grove. The knife has a liner lock design which locks it open, no way to accidentally open it. A liner lock requires two hands to close a knife. When you fold the knife, you put your thumb right where the blade goes if you push the liner lock open. I wouldn't close it one-handed. The blade will close if you make a mistake. This is an issue with all liner lock knives. The blade is very sharp. The hollow-ground blade makes it a nice cheese knife and it should work well as a table knife. I'll be using it regularly and will come back here in a few months to check it out if I have any problems.

👤It's better for uncle and I love him different things that came with it.
👤I wasn't expecting much for the price. The tool is helpful. I have reached for it more on indoor projects than on my own tools. It's a really good multi-tool.
