1. Dr Infrared Heater Portable 1500 Watt

Dr Infrared Heater Portable 1500 Watt

The model can heat up a large room. Overheat protection and tip-over protection. There are two heating systems with a 12 hour automatic shut-off timer. The IR remote control has a low noise level. For a large room, heating can be used. The thermostat can range from 50 to 85 degrees. Caster Wheels and lifetme filters. The weight is 24 lbs and the power is 12.5 Amps. 1500 Watts. The electric cord is 72 inches long. The power source is corded electric.

Brand: Dr Infrared Heater

👤I appreciated using two of these heaters to help offset the cost of having baseboard heat firing full blast all winter. The Thermostat worked well to only have the units run when needed. I didn't use extension cords or do anything that I wasn't supposed to. I unplugged it after I had to move one of them because the plug on the heater unit melted. I will not be using these again since I am afraid of what this could do to the wiring of my home. My safer heating sources are not worth the cost savings. I got about 3 months out of these before I realized they were going to be giant paper weights. Too bad...

👤It worked well for 2 weeks. It stopped working. I called the number on the heating unit. The person who answered the phone said the problem was the front circuit board. She said she would mail me a new board. I was worried about her readiness to send a circuit board and instructions. The circuit board had no instructions. She sent me the instructions after I called again. The instructions were not very helpful, but I figured it out and did the replacement. The only thing that it has is the heating element. I can't set the thermostat. It runs and runs until we turn it off. It's possible to get a heaters with that function for less money, and without having to replace a circuit board.

👤The heat from the furnace doesn't flow well into the girls room. It gets cold in there during the fall and winter. I've been looking for a space heater that would work in her room during the night while she sleeps. I've read reviews, research material, and fire statistics about the different types of space heaters. I could find no reason to be afraid of using the infrared heaters. It's impossible for a space heater to say it's 100% safe. Anything that uses electricity and generating heat has the potential to start a fire. You can prevent fires by reading the instruction manual. Most fires created by space heaters are caused by user error, which include material too close to the heat exhaust, power strips, surge protectors, and the improper electrical receptacle. The majority of the negative reviews on Amazon that have pictures are due to people plugging them into the wrong electrical outlets. The people should read the manual. You must plug the unit directly into the wall outlet. There are pictures of melted power strips and splitters on the internet. Don't take that chance because those devices are usually not rated for that much power. Enough of my rant. I highly recommend this heater. I put it in the door facing into my daughter's room and left it running all night. I set it to the desired temperature, then set it to auto mode, and the heater cycles on and off to maintain that temperature. My wife and I can't hear it from our room, it's right across the hall. The only part of this unit that gets hot to the touch is the metal grate where the heat comes out of it. I've read reviews where people complain about how hot this part of the unit is. It's going to be very hot from this part of the heater. The room is warm all night because of this little heater. I would buy another one of these.

2. Mr Heater Corporation MH18B Portable

Mr Heater Corporation MH18B Portable

Automatic temperature control with thermostat. 4, 000, 9, 000, or 18, 000 BTU per hour. It can heat up to 450 sq. ft. The Hi-Med has low heat settings. Automatic low oxygen shut-off system and accidental safety shut-off. The use of authentic accessories with this theater could cause serious injury, and it will not be possible. This unit does not come with a fan assembly or switch.

Brand: Mr. Heater

👤The heater does work well and might have gotten 5 stars from me, except for one thing. I have a Big Buddy that has always had a squirrel cage type blower built into the top of the unit and it has been for many years. It increases the efficiency by directing wasted heat out of the front. The blower runs on batteries or a/c. The a/c adapters are still recommended as an additional item. The battery compartment door is on the new heater I ordered. It was difficult to remove the battery door with the spring clip release as it simply wouldn't release. I used a small screw driver to pry it out, and it popped off. There was a battery compartment with battery placement instructions but with no terminals and a/c plug hole filled with Silicone. I could see a blower housing without a blower when I inspected the inside through the top vent. I called Mr Heater and was told that the tariffs forced them to not include a blower but not tell anyone. I told the agent that they should have charged $10 or more instead of blaming "tariffs" and pretending that there was no change. I found the last years model at a local hardware store that has a blower and it worked better than the other types I tested. The units are wind stable as the glowing panels will light the pilot in a stiff breeze, but if the wind is strong the pilot can be extinguished, but the unit will shut off. The bare Mr Heater tank top heaters can cause a scary "flame out" overheating malfunction if the wind is strong, and these are far more wind stable than that. There are some old red Big Buddys that still have blowers. The gray Big Buddys have blowers as well. They are better with a blower. The new no-blower ones are better than the a/c adapter.

👤This model does not have a fan. I didn't know there were models without a fan. I feel sad.

👤I wanted this model because it was supposed to have a fan. They can blame tariffs for not including a fan, but they can't blame anyone else for that. The extra $10 is most likely to have been paid. They are still charging the same even though they did not drop the price. Something doesn't add up here. I wonder what other quality parts have changed. You would have thought they would change the model number since it is not the same model as advertised.

👤A great little appliance. If you are using a 20lb tank, you may want to plug the regulators for the 1lb tanks. I have heard of them failing and leaking Gas. I don't understand why Mr Heater doesn't recommend or supply plugging them when they aren't being used. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

👤A friend of mine used this to heat his small home so it wouldn't freeze when his furnace went out. We have used his tent for hunting many times. My tent can be used in a tent or camper with proper fresh air, because it has both eaves vent that is unzippable and an oxygen-depletion sensor on the unit. I always take propane and carbon-monoxide detectors with me out of paranoia, and you can find them at any RV Supply store. It can use the 1lb propane tanks, in fact, it is designed to use two of them at the same time. I bought a separate hose so I could hook it up to a 30lb tank instead of using it that way, and it works perfectly. The 1lb tanks are not regulated well and as they get low, you get a lot of popping and jumping in the flame across the heating surface, which is annoying if you are a light sleeper. I recently purchased my own backup unit for our hunting trips because this little heater has been a staple in our hunting equipment. These are worth the money. We never used the fan on my hunting buddies heater as it required batteries and the unit heated our 10x14 tent area well enough without the fan. Don't let the fact that the fan isn't a feature in the unit deter you from purchasing, as this is a solid, versatile heater.

3. Mr Heater F215100 3800 BTU Propane

Mr Heater F215100 3800 BTU Propane

Do not operate the heater in a moving vehicle. The minimum vent area for this heater is 4 square inches. A low-oxygen sensor and accidental tip-over switch are needed for safety. It's recommended for emergency heat, tents, campers, workshops, job sites, porches, patios, decks, garage, storage buildings, picnics, tailgate parties, construction trailers, sporting events, barns, sheds, hunting blinds, shelters and ice fishing shanties.

Brand: Mr. Heater

👤The item works great. It goes up in flames if you drop it. I was able to get a fire extinguisher because I was outside.

👤I've used this heater for a while and don't recommend it. As time went on it became harder and harder to start. If you have small hands, you'll need 2 hands to use the button, it's very stiff. The last time I tried it, I held the button in for over a minute and it wouldn't start. I was left in the cold after many tries.

👤I didn't have to use it since it was hot when I bought it. I went to use this heater for the first time this past weekend and it didn't produce heat even though the igniter worked and I could see the little flame. I was freezing in my tent while camping, but I was excited to have this heater. I would love to have a simple replacement for this product. I still have the box that it came in, and I still have the tags on it. I have never used it. I'm hoping the owner will read this and contact me to correct the mistake. Thank you.

👤Prior to a camping trip, it was purchased. The package was undamaged from Amazon. The thing didn't work right the first time. The entire face of the unit was engulfed in a blue flickering flame that extended over the metal face. The company was contacted and sent a bad design. Instructions on how to disassemble and clean the unit. They said that they frequently have these problems and that the units are kept sealed and protected from the environment after they perform their testing. They said no when I asked for a refund. They said no when I asked for a replacement. They offered to clean it for me but I would have to pay for shipping. I have used a new device for 30 seconds. The original cleaning failed to do the trick. I tried to clean it myself. My device was missing two screws instead of the six that were specified in the instructions. There was a hole in the plastic case. No idea how some of them would be gone. I'm terrified about what else they missed. This seems to be a relatively common problem, as there are images showing where the guy had to add another screw to the inside of the unit. You need to destroy part of the sticker in order to remove the right side of the unit. Even if it works, it will look like a piece of junk compared to a new one. It shows a lack of design consideration when customers are told to destroy the stickers in order to clean the product. The instructions are not good. If you're like me, you don't have a pipe cleaner around the house. I don't have an air compressor laying around, according to the instructions I was given via email. Why aren't these additional instructions included with the product? There is a maintenance section in the instructions, but if you aren't handy, you're screwed. If you're handy, have some tools, and don't mind wasting an hour to clean a brand new device, maybe this is the product for you. The instructions and the customer support team have told me that regular cleanings are required. There was no mention of that on the description. That is funny.

4. Dura Heat TT 360 Propane Degree

Dura Heat TT 360 Propane Degree

In windy conditions, the Heater may not operate correctly. TheHeating Area is up to 1,000 sq ft. Match light/tip over safety shut off. L Tank connection is quick and personalized. The chrome emitter guard is Rust resistant. The 20lb propane tank is sold separately.

Brand: Dura Heat

👤I usually don't leave reviews, but this thing is a great deal. I have done a lot of work in my garage in the past because it is too cold in Wisconsin. I was painting a door when I fired up the heater. I let it get up to 71 degrees inside before turning it off. My garage is not insulated and is a two car garage. I have a fan on the ceiling that helps circulate the air in the garage. It's a good thing.

👤There are three of these for the backyard patio area. Three are 3 years old and one is a year old. None would keep lit when they were taken out of storage. The "thermo couple" was changed, but still no joy. They were good as gold again after changing the "tip-over" switch. It seems like something inside the switch gets stuck when stored on their sides, and after that they refuse to work again. The repair time is 15 minutes.

👤The set up is easy. I've never used a propane tank before but it's very easy and I love it. The garage door is open and it is so hot that I sit outside. I accidentally touched it and it burned through my pants. This thing is serious. It's hot on low. I love it! Get it, it's worth the money.

👤We love this. I didn't want the standard upright ones when searching for an outdoor heater. If you're next to them, they produce heat. The little propane tanks are expensive and don't last long. I came across this while looking for other options. I went back to the cart and the price of the standard outdoors heaters had doubled and they were back ordered. I took a chance. It is similar to a regular tank for your grill. It's perfect for socially distant movie nights and we use it underneath an outdoor tent. We used it on low. I think a standard propane tank can last for 15 hours on low. Since I live in Southern California, low is the best way to keep the rain away on the nights when it gets into the 50s. We have an outdoor movie set up and plan to use it all winter long. I highly recommend it.

👤I was looking for a way to spend more time on my patio during the cold Massachusetts months. Anticipating more covid lockdown has me anxious. I researched patio heaters for hours. I couldn't get my hands in anything decent for less than $1k because of Covid and delays from China. All of the ones in the 2-400$ range had terrible reviews. I thought I would give it a try. We could have a whole outdoor room if I had bought 3 more. It was difficult to start. There is nothing on the internet. Keep the flame on the mesh until it catches, hold the red button. It takes a little longer than you think. But then it turns red. It gets warm. It is easy after the first. Three friends have been impressed by what they've seen. This is a great find. It is at seating level so the heat is spread out at the right level instead of being above my head, which is what I like about it. I didn't know how well it was heating until I went inside. I realized how cold it had gotten and how well this heater works. We will be outside all winter if we combine this with electric blankets.

5. Mr Heater F242300 000 15 Cooker

Mr Heater F242300 000 15 Cooker

When the parts of the portable heater start to heat up, the automatic overheat system will shut the unit down. It's perfect for houses with children and pets. 8,000-15,000 BTU cooker. Automatic safety shut-off. Use with disposable cylinders. Completely assembled except for metal stand. There is heating coverage of 375 square feet.

Brand: Mr. Heater

👤The product worked well. Ignore all negative reviews. This is for tent camping in Utah. The temps were in the teens. It uses about 6 small propane tanks per day. This product is very good and I would highly recommend it. I have a carbon monoxide detector. For the entire vacation, I had zero parts per million.

👤After 20 years, I had to replace my old heating system. The newer model is just as good as the older one. It was nice to be able to run it off the large tank.

👤I had to tilt the new one to keep it from cooking the floor. The old one worked without problems for 30 years. It didn't work when I tried to crank up the new one with a temp of 6 degrees. What do you know, I moved the thermocouple sensor in the old one. It works! The new one doesn't. The old design didn't have the required oxygen sensor. It's the 21st Century, so people assume you're an idiot and don't understand. The oxygen sensor means that a heater that is above 7,000 feet above sea level won't work, just like the "Mr. Heater" up on Soldier's Summit at 10,000 feet. I had a lot of warm bedding. Most of my favorite places are above 7,000 feet. The new design was useless up in the mountains. I'll be using the old one for another 30 years, most likely, because of the breakdown and easy fix. I'll fiddle with the "new" one, which is probably made in China. I'll keep it as a backup if I can get it to work without the oxygen sensor. I'm going to look for another propane heater. I bought it last year because my old one wore out. It could be fixed with a new thermocouple, but I just bought a new heater. The stand is not the same. It doesn't angle up, like it's supposed to, when it's in "heater" mode. I'm going to take the old stand and put the new one on it. It angles the heater slightly upward so it doesn't burn the floor in front of it. I thought it might be because they changed the new one to get it into the box. This is how it happens. It's kind of gross. You could use a pair of pliers to modify it. It's welded into the current configuration. The stand is still fine, and I have the old heating unit. It's a matter of un-mounting the old heater. The slight design change since the '80s was disappointing. They're making a world that's safe for idiots so they can be happy.

👤So far it's been good! We've been using the one pound propane tanks but would like to use a larger tank. We'll be able to try it out soon after the hose is fixed. It makes some weird noises. It's great once it's going. Our icefishing shanty is warm. We warmed up breakfast sandwhiches with it. We wish it had a setting that was a bit lower than the low setting. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

6. IPower Greenhouse Workplace Protection Spraywater

IPower Greenhouse Workplace Protection Spraywater

Water retention is a problem. The emergency light is water resistant. The overheated protection circuit is equipped with internal heat limiting control. The electric supply has an air output of 5000 square feet per hour.

Brand: Ipower

👤We used to use a space heater in our small greenhouse. It's been 24 hours and there's no doubt that a greenhouse heater is better and safer than a cheap space heater. The greenhouse is kept at a consistent 85 degrees when the temperature is low and high. It's very quiet. The fan is not strong. It's a well made fan. Let's see if it lasts without conking out. I will update this review if it does.

👤In Montana, gardening is never predictable and I usually spend a lot of time covering plants or taking them to the garage on cold days. I decided to try a greenhouse tent for the first time this season and am very happy with the decision. The seedlings are happy and snug in the tent at 62 degrees, despite the cold and snow of this morning. I've been using it for two weeks and it's been great. I bought a blue tooth hygrometer. I can check on the greenhouse on my phone. I will definitely do this again next year to save my back from lifting heavy pots, and get a head start on our short growing season.

👤The weather in Nebraska is very unpredictable. We are getting down to 35 at night in May. A 10 foot by 10 foot greenhouse requires a 10 foot by 10 foot heater. It is only keeping it 10 degrees warmer than it is outside when it is high heat and highest temperature setting. This is not good for cold climates. I am not happy with this purchase.

👤I bought 2 of these fans for my grow tents. The mist in the air is what they sit in. It is not acceptable for a product being sold as water proof to be rusting all over. They are only used inside and in a closed tent. I'm supposed to just eat the cost because it's been more than the allotted return/exchange time frame. I lost an entire grow of over 3 pounds of mushrooms, which cost me hundreds of dollars in lost products, but the market value of them is $1600.00 per pound. You have been warned.

👤Great product! I was a little worried that the valve wouldn't shut off on its own when it got to a certain temperature, but it does a great job at that. I need my greenhouse to be at a perfect temperature. If it showed the different heats for every part of the ranges, I would know where to put it if I wanted a certain temperature.

👤It's better to have a thermostat control. I had to go to the green house all night to keep the temperature up as the temp dropped outside. I don't know what they mean by "the desired room temperature," but this heater doesn't have a place where you can set an actual temperature. When it hits a certain temperature, it doesn't turn off automatically. It appears that the setting halfway between Min and Max keeps the greenhouse 20 above the outside temperature. The greenhouse temperature was 71 and the outside temperature was 51. The temperature in the greenhouse was too hot for my little seedlings when the outside temperature went up to 64. I gave it to my son so he could use it for his garage, but it is adequate if he is in the garage to watch it.

7. Heater TRUSTECH Protection Waterproof Greenhouse Wall Mounted

Brand: Trustech

👤The glass tube was broken when it arrived, with pieces rattling inside the "caged" area. I wanted to know how well it heated before I returned the item. I have been researching outdoor patio heaters for a while now. People will say how great a product is, but fail to mention that they are using it in a sunroom, inside, in a garage, etc., or that the other important information that all factor into this product's worthiness, such as the outdoor temperature! I tried it inside my home. I was close to it and it felt hot. I live in Kansas and have recently hung canvas panels in my gazebo with a unit like this that would keep me warm in the winter, but I had hoped it would be enough to keep me warm in the summer. It doesn't warm the space for me. I put it on my patio table because I understand how it works and because mounting wasn't an option. It took at least 5 minutes to feel the warmth from 4 feet away. I use a 2- burner propane topper and it is very effective, though I don't want to use propane. The only way I'll get decent heat with a 500/1000/1500w 120v heater is to find an indoor space heater that blows the heat, which is what the infrared methodology is. The bang for your buck is not here yet. All the products that vary in price from $5 to $100 are a joke. Buy the cheap one and make it worth the extra money by adding features.

👤Just arrived. Well packaged and shipped quickly. Cannot wait to hang it up. My wife was sweating from about 6 feet away when I turned this on. I will put this on the porch to see how it does. Within a few moments, heat can be felt. Gave it a chance. This thing is not able to even fee heat over 3-4 ft away. It works well for inside. I was hoping it would provide some heat for the front porch. I am disappointed, but if ur intention is for inside hearing, it's probably safe. Outside this is not strong enough to provide a good space heater.

👤Yesterday, I received this heater. It kept me warm when I enjoyed a cigar on my deck in North Carolina, which was chilly. Highly recommended. Easy instructions, high quality and plenty of heat. This isn't going to heat your entire deck but the area around me received a lot of heat so I had to turn it down to a lower output level. The heat output is similar to sitting in front of a fireplace.

👤I bought the Trustech 1500W heater and the less expensive Kismile patio heater because I had a coupon for the less expensive one. I had intended on using this one in the room we used most as it was a bit more expensive, but when I set them down side by side I noticed that it was a bit smaller and the other brand had three settings: 500W 750W 1500W instead of just two. After a few uses, the Trustech heater got noisy on the lower setting. The noise was present at both settings after I used it for about a week. The range for the remote is disappointing, 8 inches, and that's when it doesn't work. The Kismile remote has a range of 50 feet. I noticed an issue with the bulb when unpacking the Trustech, but it doesn't seem to affect its operation. Installation is simple once you figure out how to do it on your own. Both heaters came with very little instructions. I bought another Kismile brand heater after I returned the first one.

8. Martin Portable Outdoor Infrared Parabolic

Martin Portable Outdoor Infrared Parabolic

The electric supply has an air output of 5000 square feet per hour. The portable propane heater from Martin will keep you warm during your camping or ice fishing trip. You can turn it off, set it to low, medium or high at your discretion, with the simple controls. A metal dish that helps to focus heat where you want it works with a propane bottle. Efficient portable local heat is waiting for you. The extendable cylinder base is stable for greater stability. This beast is portable and personal, with a convenient carry handle. If the flame goes out, there is an auto shut-off fuel valve, a large paddle foot base, and a safety grid.

Brand: Martin

👤The little heater is well made. Survived a 4 foot drop to concrete and only popped off the grill. It requires 2 hands to light it up. One to hold the red button and the other to hold the lighter. I only have one hand, so I was disappointed at 1st. I made a clip out of aluminum that will hold in the button while I light it, and the thermocouple will heat it up. I take the clip off after it's going to defeat the safety shutoff. It's nice to have a different click setting. I like to sit outside in the morning. It's cold in the desert during the winter. The wind will blow out on low if it is blowing. I don't know if it will stay lit on high. There is a But! The base is dangerous. It's too small. It only lightly touches the bottom of the bottle. The bottle bottom has a small spot of glue on it. The first time I put the whole assembly up on the bench, the bottle flopped out of the base and hit the floor. I used better glue to hold the plastic cover on the bottle, but the base still falls off when I'm carrying the heater. I have an old Coleman base that comes up on the bottle a half inch further, and it grips better. I couldn't find a decent base on Amazon. Be warned. You'll probably want to do something about the dangerous base, but the heater is a good one.

👤I could use a few more. We spent a few days in the mountains at 6000 ft. It was easy to start, but the 3100 BTUs is a bit weak. This type of heating works best inside. It's not forte outside.

👤It was purchased for the camper conversion. It takes very little space and can hang on a hook. portable propane bottles can be purchased anywhere. The ceiling vent is open for safety and the chill off quickly in the confined cargo area.

👤The electric heater in our pop up camper went out so we had to rely on it. It didn't keep the whole thing warm, but it kept the side of the camper nice and warm. It would take two to keep the whole thing warm.

👤I decided to give it a try because I am living in a van and it is starting to get cold at night. I love this little thing. It's so warm here, even on low. You can't beat this price. I highly recommend.

👤I use an Eskimo Quickfish 2i (insulated) as a heat source and it is perfect for cold days. I have it hooked up with a propane tree to a 5 lbs propane tank, which is smaller than the 20 lbs. version, so it's plenty for the room. with the same fitting You have to light this unit with a lighter or match. It is very easy to use. I love it!

👤This is for a camping trip. I can say that it gives off decent heat at a distance of about 3 - 5 foot from the garage. We do a bit of beach camping and wanted to find an affordable option to keep warm. I think this will work but will update review as soon as I get some measurable results.

9. Personal Ceramic Portable Mini Desktop 400 Watt

Personal Ceramic Portable Mini Desktop 400 Watt

The switch is easy to use. The power light is red to let you know the unit is on. The cord is long and has a connection. For personal use, such as an office desk table tent. 400 watt, 110 watt, 3.63amps. A low watt space heater is more economical than a high watt one and will not overload the circuit. People who live in a mild climate are a great choice. Quiet and fast heating is good for space around 100 square feet. Take the chill off of a small office space by using it by the desk. It can be used at home if you don't want to heat the entire house with other centralized heaters. It won't keep you awake at night. It's bright and compact, so you won't knock into it, and it's easy to see. This personal space heater is portable and doesn't take up a lot of space, so it's easy to move it from room to room. It's a nice safety feature that the desktop heater made of flame retardant material will shut off automatically if you tip it over. The outer surface is cool.

Brand: Brightown

👤My office keeps it at 63 degrees every day. I like to have this under my desk. It keeps my feet and legs warm.

👤I'm part of a group of people who don't want to have space heaters at work. I read a lot of reviews before buying and I was worried that it wouldn't be warm or loud, or that it looked like a heater. It exceeded my expectations tenfold. I love heat pads, I used to fall asleep on the floor in front of my space heating in the dorms, and the heated seats in my car are always on. This is just as warm as a bigger space heater, but it doesn't project as far. It's perfect for a desk. I can't touch the front because it's so hot, which some reviewers thought wouldn't be the case. If yours is not getting warm, it might be broken because mine is. The noise is the same as my MacBook fan, so it sounds like I'm video editing or something. If the powers that be were to enter my office, nobody would notice the sound of it being unusual. The "WARNING: DO NOT COVER" and safety sticker on the side are the biggest heater tip-offs, and while I don't condone this, Lisa Frank stickers easily took care of that. If you're on the fence, you should go for it. It was worth every single penny.

👤I received this for my work in Florida. We don't have control over the AC temp and it's freezing here, so we have to rely on maintenance to save the environment. The addition of this heater was very nice. There are pros and cons, none so far, will update if anything changes.

👤I bought this for my wife to use. She told me how great the space heater was. She said it made her office so hot that she had to turn it off. I asked her to bring it home so I could see what she was talking about. I turned it on and it got really hot. I was amazed at how well this thing worked. If you're looking for a mini-heater that works great and is also cheap, this is the one for you. My wife and I are both very fond of this heater. It's also very safe. There is a small peg on the bottom of the heater. If it tips over, it will shut off. If you have small kids or animals running around, this is a safe way to heat them.

👤I have been using the mini portable orange heater for about a week and a half. I am using it as a room heating and not as a desk heating. I can keep my bedroom warm when the temperature drops to 40 degrees. I will be using a 400 watt mini heater in our room for the winter and will see how it works. If it is knocked over, the pressure bullet on the bottom will shut it off. It has a safety shut off. Despite the orange color, I am fond of it. It is working well and I think I have finally found a sufficiently low wattage heater that will heat a larger area then just personal space. It keeps me warm if I use it that way as well. I will keep you updated in the cold months. The bedroom can be kept at 67 to 69 degrees even after the temperature drops a bit. I am happy with this item and will continue to use it. It is small and provides safety elements. I have been using it for several months and am very happy with the order. The Brightown is almost a square.

👤There is no such thing as an efficient electric heater. All electric heaters will use the same amount of electricity and heat. The electricity is turned into heat through a resistor. The same amount of heat and electricity can be achieved by a 1500 watt heater 10x this size. When knocked over, it has standard safety features. It has three heat settings, which is different to the two heat settings on most other models. The thermostat works well and I can just turn it on and enjoy the temperature in my room. It works great with a smart plug since it will turn on once it gets electricity. I use the HBN Smart Plug Mini and it works great. There is no reason to spend more on a heating appliance. This is the best space heater you can buy. The Heater is still working new 15 months later.

👤I was so excited that the heater could heat up my apartment that it cost me a fortune. My energy bill is usually around $20 a month, but this heater caused my bill to go up to $80. What the hell? Not a single review mentioned that. The screen on the front of the heater popped out. It popped out when I tried to push it in, but it is a huge safety hazard and shouldn't be able to be damaged if part of its charm is safety. Good heating job, but costs a lot. I don't recommend it.

👤A small heater. The unit takes about a minute to fully heat up, but after that it blows the warm air a long way. The dial is easy to use and it has few settings. The shape of the unit is the best part for me, some similar units seem too rounded and oddly shaped. If you're traveling or moving, this one is a good option because it's rectangular. It seems to be pretty safe with a tip over protection and heating protection feature.

👤The tiny box really heats the space. I bought this for my un heated sun porch so I can use it during the fall and winter. Within 20 minutes the room temp was up 5 degrees, after I turned the thermostat up to 3. The fact that it is small and portable makes it even better. All for $25. It's worth it.

👤This is a great little appliance. It puts out a lot of heat. I bought it for my basement office so I don't have to turn the heat on high when I'm working in the winter. It's perfect for a 200 square foot room and could even heat a much larger room.

👤I went to the trouble to measure the amount of power it pulls, and it's doing 12.5 at the highest of the three settings. You are going to get a lot of heat. It's as good as it gets because it's a safe maximum for a standard outlet. The heater is very small. I don't know how it will hold up long term, I only had it a week. The price is very low. I keep it in a cupboard in the garage as an emergency backup. The spring loaded switch on the bottom of the unit is what the tip over safety is about. I don't know what to tell you. The 123 settings are for heat. The manual is 2 pages.

11. Overheat Protection Tip Over Portable Thermostat

Overheat Protection Tip Over Portable Thermostat

2 in 1 fan. You can use the ceramic heater for both winter and summer, it provides two heat levels, 1500W or 750W, and one cool air fan. When the temperature goes below the thermostat setting, the thermostat will turn the heater off and the temperature will go back up. It will cycle on and off. The setting of the thermostat should be adjusted to keep the room comfortable. The heaters are made of flame retardant material. The automatic safety shut off system will shut the heater off if it gets too hot. The tip over protection system will shut the heater off when it is knocked over, and it will come back on if it is up right. The 7.9 inch x 6.2 inch x 10.2 inch portable mini heater with build in carry handle is portable and powerful, it helps to reinforce the potential of low electrical bills by using at the place where you need when you don't want to warm the full house with other centralized heaters. Quiet and fast heating: The noise of the ceramic heating is less than 45 decibels, which is quiet enough for most people to use in a bedroom. This heater has a high speed fan and ceramic heating tech that will heat up 200 square feet in seconds. The material for the bics should be upgraded. The upgrade material is more flame resident. The room heater has a lead cord and a 2 prong connection.

👤Three months ago, I purchased this little heating appliance. It was only intended to keep our bathroom warm during the cold winter months. I liked the temperature controls and the amount of heat it put off. I liked the safety features that kicked in if it was knocked over. After a few weeks of use, I noticed that the heating element was becoming more sensitive and sometimes you had to pick it up and set it down a few times before it registered. It shut off in the middle of running. On December 8, 2020, the heater will not work. The pin in the bottom doesn't matter if it's triggered or not, I've taken it out and put it back in. The heater won't turn back on. I guess I should be thankful that it won't burn my house down, but I would like a heating system that will heat my house for more than two months.

👤My lake front cottage in northern Maine received a heater this week. We don't have heat or insulation and usually leave for Florida in the middle of October. Our low last night was 37 and our little heater kept me comfortable as I read. When I went to bed, I had a 5 pound heater in the bedroom that was very comfortable. I am impressed with the amount of heat this little heater produces and I am also impressed with the simple safety feature that shuts off the power if the machine is not in an upright position. I will be ordering 2 more units tomorrow. The solution is a great price.

👤All seems well after a pre- winter test run. I hope it works out as expected because it is a solid product. I won't know for sure until the return date has passed, so we'll see if I'm happy or pissed off. There is a After the cold sets in, I'll issue a follow-up. This doesn't need to heat a lot of space because it's next to my computer and it allows some drafts. It seemed to work just fine when it was set on low. I want to add an operational tip, but don't place it too close to you, thinking it will be warmer. Not true. If you are sitting in a chair and the unit is on the floor, place it about 3 feet away from you. The heat will rise up to you if you allow 3 feet. Hope this helps.

👤I was looking for a new space heater after my old one died. I am very happy with this purchase. My dog likes to sit in front of the heater but if it got knocked over it wouldn't turn off. The button on this heater only allows it to turn on when it's standing up on a surface. I am cautious when using this heater, but I like the safety features and different heat settings that this one has.

👤The small size of this heater is not for you. The little think can make some heat. If you put it on full blast, it will run you out of the room. It is an excellent heater for the price. It has a thermostat button that you can use to lower the heat output. It's good for an office space, dorm room, house bedroom, or a living room space. This little thing can be used many different ways. If it is not in the upright position, it has a knockover feature. It was bought for our rancher home. We don't have central heating so we bought two. They are perfect. We move them around with ease whenever we need to knock the chill off of the air or when we are in a room for a while. Pick up one of these little heaters and enjoy the winter season, instead of running central heating into all rooms, including you are not currently using. Targeting your heat is a great way to save money.
