1. Personal Ceramic Portable Mini Desktop 400 Watt

Personal Ceramic Portable Mini Desktop 400 Watt

The switch is easy to use. The power light is red to let you know the unit is on. The cord is long and has a connection. For personal use, such as an office desk table tent. 400 watt, 110 watt, 3.63amps. A low watt space heater is more economical than a high watt one and will not overload the circuit. People who live in a mild climate are a great choice. Quiet and fast heating is good for space around 100 square feet. Take the chill off of a small office space by using it by the desk. Brand: Brightown

👤My office keeps it at 63 degrees every day. I like to have this under my desk. It keeps my feet and legs warm.

👤I'm part of a group of people who don't want to have space heaters at work. I read a lot of reviews before buying and I was worried that it wouldn't be warm or loud, or that it looked like a heater. It exceeded my expectations tenfold. I love heat pads, I used to fall asleep on the floor in front of my space heating in the dorms, and the heated seats in my car are always on. This is just as warm as a bigger space heater, but it doesn't project as far. It's perfect for a desk. I can't touch the front because it's so hot, which some reviewers thought wouldn't be the case. If yours is not getting warm, it might be broken because mine is. The noise is the same as my MacBook fan, so it sounds like I'm video editing or something. If the powers that be were to enter my office, nobody would notice the sound of it being unusual. The "WARNING: DO NOT COVER" and safety sticker on the side are the biggest heater tip-offs, and while I don't condone this, Lisa Frank stickers easily took care of that. If you're on the fence, you should go for it. It was worth every single penny.

👤I received this for my work in Florida. We don't have control over the AC temp and it's freezing here, so we have to rely on maintenance to save the environment. The addition of this heater was very nice. There are pros and cons, none so far, will update if anything changes.

👤I bought this for my wife to use. She told me how great the space heater was. She said it made her office so hot that she had to turn it off. I asked her to bring it home so I could see what she was talking about. I turned it on and it got really hot. I was amazed at how well this thing worked. If you're looking for a mini-heater that works great and is also cheap, this is the one for you. My wife and I are both very fond of this heater. It's also very safe. There is a small peg on the bottom of the heater. If it tips over, it will shut off. If you have small kids or animals running around, this is a safe way to heat them.

👤I have been using the mini portable orange heater for about a week and a half. I am using it as a room heating and not as a desk heating. I can keep my bedroom warm when the temperature drops to 40 degrees. I will be using a 400 watt mini heater in our room for the winter and will see how it works. If it is knocked over, the pressure bullet on the bottom will shut it off. It has a safety shut off. Despite the orange color, I am fond of it. It is working well and I think I have finally found a sufficiently low wattage heater that will heat a larger area then just personal space. It keeps me warm if I use it that way as well. I will keep you updated in the cold months. The bedroom can be kept at 67 to 69 degrees even after the temperature drops a bit. I am happy with this item and will continue to use it. It is small and provides safety elements. I have been using it for several months and am very happy with the order. The Brightown is almost a square.

2. Energizer Emergency Flashlight Batteries Included

Energizer Emergency Flashlight Batteries Included

The health wall-mounted patio HEATER is made of health wall-mounted wood. The electric heat can be used with ultraviolet radiation and golden tube. Enjoy a healthy life while heating. Energizer power is powered by Energizer Max AA batteries and two AA batteries. The flashlight can be used on two or four AA batteries. COMPACT DESIGN. The flashlight has a bright white light. There is aTERN & FLASHLIGHT. A versatile light is a traditional flashlight or area light lantern that can be used for improved visibility and safety. It's easy to use a push-button switch. It works when you need it, it runs for over 60 hours on each set of AA batteries. Water retention is a problem. The emergency light is water resistant.

Brand: Energizer

👤Day 1. You can't turn the regular flash light on without the side light coming on. You can only choose between the lights or the lantern. There's only one button, so you can't turn the flashlight light on. I don't think I'm doing something wrong. I'll change my review to a five star and add a new comment if someone comments and they're correct. The light is not as durable as an old fashioned metal Maglight, but it is still a good light and I am looking for something that is reliable and functional. The shape is very nice and you can tell they wanted it to fit in your hand. They did that very well. I'm quite happy with it so far, and I think highly of it. I took a star off because I couldn't turn the flashlight on by myself. If I'm trying to save battery power or don't need to see straight down, then why not give me that option? To save a buck? Isn't there always a flaw?

👤I bought the flashlight for the dog to use. The beam of the flashlight is not very bright but it provides good illumination up to 20 feet up the trail. I think it makes a good tradeoff between brightness and battery life if the batteries last for 60 hours. A small area-light (dimmer than the main area light) comes on with the flashlight beam to light the area below the flashlight, it works reasonably well at illuminating the area near your feet when you're aiming the flashlight up the trail, but the really nice feature for me is The light seems rugged, I've dropped it from waist height a few times while fumbling with the dog leash, and the light hasn't suffered any ill effect. This would make a good power-failure light, the area light gives decent illumination of my large livingroom room, it lights up the entire room more than enough for comfortable walking around, and when sitting on the table, gives enough light for easy reading nearby. The area light is powered by a set of batteries.

👤The flashlight was made of plastic. It feels very light. I don't want to drop it or throw it on the ground to find out how durable it is. It is perfect for the design. It will not make you feel dizzy and it will light up the path. If I move my hand too much, some of the flashlight makes me dizzy. The battery life seems to be ok so far. I use it to jog around my community for my pregnant mom. This is a good choice if you don't want to carry a heavy security style flashlight.

👤I like the fact that it can be used as a lantern in a tent or small camper, and also as a flashlight. It will work well as a light source in an emergency. It is not bright enough to be your main light source, but it is nice to have. One can have the flashlight and lantern part on at the same time. You can't just have the flashlight part on. The lantern can be blinding if you only want to use it as a flashlight. It would be great if the light could be focused for wider or narrower dispersion, and it would also be great if the battery could be charged in the light.

Brand: Honeywell

👤I bought the same model 2 Winters a while back and it still works well. I decided to buy a new one for my bedroom. I had it for 2 months. I woke up in the middle of the night to smoke. The unit overheated and melted the plug. My electrician came and checked out the outlet and said it was not faulty and that the issue was the heater. It could have started a fire if I hadn't been home. Too bad. The return period ended.

👤This is a review of the HHF370. I would give it 5 stars if they changed the function to be more like their non-digital versions. The LOW HEAT setting completely ignores the temperature control thermostat, and the darn thing is heating up. I have several of the old type of heaters that are still working well. The features that made me like them have been changed for the worse on the digital version. This is my main complaint. I want to run the heater on low, but still have temperature control. The HHF370 has a digital thermostat that controls temperature, but it only works on the high setting. You can set the heat to HI or LOW on the older non-digital Honeywell 360-style heaters that I own. It controls the temp regardless of the HI/LO setting, so when it gets too warm it stops heating and the fan stops. This wasn't made clear in the product details or in the instructions. The new digital version is designed to be a low setting. It is not about energy saving. In the UK, tripping the circuit breaker is a requirement for a low setting. Most electrical outlets in the US are 15 Amps, except for the bathroom, kitchens, and garage which are 20 Amps. When using the high heat setting, the heaters operates at 1500 watt. This means it draws 12 Amps, that's 1500 watt divided by 120 watt. You might have plugged in everything else and run on the same branch circuit. If you have a wide screen TV in your home, you'll have the same circuit on it as if you're in the den. It adds up quickly. It's too much when there's other stuff loading up the circuit for a space heater to keep tripping the circuit breaker. In some cases, a lower watt setting is the only setting you can use in a room because of the circuit situation. It is a design blunder to not have a thermostat control the temperature on the low setting. Are you listening? The HHF370 would be 5 star all the way if it had this ability. I really like the products of Honeywell. Many other brands do not have a true low setting. Some brands of heaters claim to have low settings, while they actually run at full power. They quickly cycle the power to the heating element. It's a low setting in terms of heat output, but not in terms of maximum electrical load. It's not a good way to do it, and it will not prevent you from tripping a circuit breaker. I always liked the fact that most of the heaters had a true low setting where they only consume 750 watt of power while heating on low. One of the companies that gets that right is Honeywell. I still want the output to be controlled by a thermostat. I would recommend the non-digital HHF360V over the digital HHF370 if I were to run it on a low heat setting. If you are near the HHF370 digital version, it will make things uncomfortably warm. It might trip your breaker if you set it high. Too bad! I liked the idea of a remote and a digital readout. You almost got it right. Try again. Other than that... If you're not sitting near the heater, and you happen to be plugged into a 20 Amp circuit, the HHF370 digital might be a really good heater because it can put out a lot of heat. The remote is very useful. The HHF370 is not very quiet. It's not terrible, but if you're sitting near it, you'll hear it. At this point, it seems that only non-digital models are offered by the company. If anyone has found a digital heater with TempControl on low heat, please leave a comment. I haven't found one yet, but I'm sure they exist. I am sending this one back and getting another non-digital HHF360 instead. One last thing to say. The HZ2200 was much quieter than the current versions. I still have a 10 year old one. I like to use space heaters from Honeywell, they do a good job.

4. Mr Heater F215100 3800 BTU Propane

Brand: Mr. Heater

👤The item works great. It goes up in flames if you drop it. I was able to get a fire extinguisher because I was outside.

👤I've used this heater for a while and don't recommend it. As time went on it became harder and harder to start. If you have small hands, you'll need 2 hands to use the button, it's very stiff. The last time I tried it, I held the button in for over a minute and it wouldn't start. I was left in the cold after many tries.

👤I didn't have to use it since it was hot when I bought it. I went to use this heater for the first time this past weekend and it didn't produce heat even though the igniter worked and I could see the little flame. I was freezing in my tent while camping, but I was excited to have this heater. I would love to have a simple replacement for this product. I still have the box that it came in, and I still have the tags on it. I have never used it. I'm hoping the owner will read this and contact me to correct the mistake. Thank you.

👤Prior to a camping trip, it was purchased. The package was undamaged from Amazon. The thing didn't work right the first time. The entire face of the unit was engulfed in a blue flickering flame that extended over the metal face. The company was contacted and sent a bad design. Instructions on how to disassemble and clean the unit. They said that they frequently have these problems and that the units are kept sealed and protected from the environment after they perform their testing. They said no when I asked for a refund. They said no when I asked for a replacement. They offered to clean it for me but I would have to pay for shipping. I have used a new device for 30 seconds. The original cleaning failed to do the trick. I tried to clean it myself. My device was missing two screws instead of the six that were specified in the instructions. There was a hole in the plastic case. No idea how some of them would be gone. I'm terrified about what else they missed. This seems to be a relatively common problem, as there are images showing where the guy had to add another screw to the inside of the unit. You need to destroy part of the sticker in order to remove the right side of the unit. Even if it works, it will look like a piece of junk compared to a new one. It shows a lack of design consideration when customers are told to destroy the stickers in order to clean the product. The instructions are not good. If you're like me, you don't have a pipe cleaner around the house. I don't have an air compressor laying around, according to the instructions I was given via email. Why aren't these additional instructions included with the product? There is a maintenance section in the instructions, but if you aren't handy, you're screwed. If you're handy, have some tools, and don't mind wasting an hour to clean a brand new device, maybe this is the product for you. The instructions and the customer support team have told me that regular cleanings are required. There was no mention of that on the description. That is funny.

5. PELONIS PHTA1ABB Portable Overheat Protection

PELONIS PHTA1ABB Portable Overheat Protection

The 4.3 x 2.8 x 6.5 inch compact size makes it easy to carry around without wires. It doesn't take up floor space or have a cord laying on the floor when the plug in is mounted on the receptacle. Modern look makes it blend well in a living room or bedroom since it's not a big deal. It only takes 3 seconds to heat up warmth for relatively small spaces, with a comfortable and consistent temperature, thanks to the fast heating feature. The thermostat has an easy to use control dial. Choose between high or low heating to warm up your area. HEATER & FAN MULTI-FUNCTION. The electric heater has two heating options. In the summer, turn the Fan Only function on to make this heater a personal fan. The fan can be controlled easily. A utility appliance has a heating and cooling unit. The person is user friendly. The built-in carry handle and lightweight make it easy to move around. The two rotating knobs on the top control panel allow you to control the temperature inside. The fan heater is made of flame resistant material. US standard sockets can be used without an extension cord. The tip-over switch and over heating protection make it safe to use. The manufacturer's warranty. You can get a 1-year manufacturer warranty with your purchase of any of their products.

Brand: Pelonis

👤The PELONISPHTA1ABB worked out of the box. It's not as loud as the AccuTemp model that I have used for the last eight years in my bathroom. The attached video was made close to the PELONIS unit. I needed a second heating source in my office space to use while I was at the computer. Sears was over 50 years old and finally quit. I think I'll use the AccuTemp in my office and the new PELONIS in the bathroom. The PELONIS has a smaller fan blade than the AccuTemp. They both put out the same air flow, which might explain the louder noise of the PELONIS. I wish the PELONIS had a longer manufacturer's warranty to make sure I get through the winter season. Its price was reasonable. It looks like it was made well. The AccuTemp had a 5-year warranty that I never needed to use, but now its control buttons are too sensitive to the touch, which is why they are still usable after all these years. I considered buying the larger PELONIS PFH15A2ASB. I really wanted a small heater. I think the larger PELONIS will be quieter. If noise is a concern, I suggest you try something else. I will update this review if necessary.

👤I had to push the flip safety switch to get the fan to turn on when the heater was upside down because it was wobbly and loose. The fan housing that holds the heating element to the heating element was missing a whole ass screw. The fan cooling down the heating element would have caused the heater to catch on fire. I put in a new screw and it works well now. But. Don't buy this if you're not comfortable taking apart a heater. I liked the look of this heater when I first purchased it. It was very smooth to operate and heating, but over the course of a month or so it has started making slight grinding sounds and heating up has been slower. It worked well at first and I hope it doesn't get worse. The price is decent. I hope I just got a bad unit. More than 2 people replied to each other after that exact review. I would be more than certain that their fans were loose and starting to scrap the side wall of the housing, the same problem I had with my heaters.

👤This doesn't change. The description says to choose high or low heating to warm up your desired area. The pictures make it look as though it swings back and forth. It doesn't. Misrepresentation!

👤When the thermostat is used to regulate the desired temperature and keep it at that level, the area gets way too cool before the heat can be felt, and then the heat feels like it is 900W production. The thermostat and heating to 900W mean less heat in the room and less heat in the area. A small bedroom and office need the same amount of heat to stay warm. If the office gets too hot, it might help the feet from snow or feel even warmer. This is not your best cohice because of the less than good thermostat regulation. The person who bought the same heater had the same problem.

6. Mr Heater MH4B Massachusetts Canada Portable

Mr Heater MH4B Massachusetts Canada Portable

There is heating coverage of 375 square feet. 800 BTU's per hour. This unit is not used for golf carts or for cars. Accidental tip-over safety shut off. The low oxygen shutoff system is automatic. Canada and Massachusetts have been approved for certified outdoor use. It can be used with propane gas to heat up to 95sq ft. The use of authentic accessories with this theater could cause serious injury, and it will not be possible.

Brand: Mr. Heater

👤The little buddy heater was used on the camping trip. It was easy to use and keep the large tent from getting too cold. I was pretty pleased with the length of one propane bottle. The carbon monoxide detection and automatic shut off feature of the heater made me sleepy. I was in a large tent and it kept it from getting too cold. I would buy it again.

👤I am the wife of a resident. We do a lot of window visits. My Buddy by Mr Heater was a necessity because of living up north. I gave it a 4 for warmth and heat output because they are both good, but the heat tends to go straight up. Assembly and lighting the unit is easy.

👤I'll start with one con. The base of the bottle isn't the right size because it won't stay on the bottle. It falls off. I have to figure out what to do to fix it. I was pleasantly surprised by this little thing. I got it for a man. I didn't like what I saw when I did the test run in my garage. I'm glad I didn't give it a shot and return it. It was 21 degrees outside when I used it. I could feel the warmth in less than a minute after setting up the hut on the ice. After about 10 minutes, I was able to take my coat off and wear my insulated shirt.

👤I had an excellent portableLP heater for a long time. The top of the propane gas cylinder had a heater element attached to it. It kept me warm as I drank my coffee at the campsite and read as the sun came up. It deteriorated and had to be discarded. I thought Mr. Heater would be a good replacement. Wrong! It produces only the heat of three candles, which is a bit of an exaggeration, but when you are waiting for the big fire in the sky to come up, you would think it was not much of an exaggeration. There is no adjustment for the amount of heat. The settings on my old one worked well. The design cannot be adjusted because of the angle of the heater element. I had always placed the heater on the picnic table, with the element blowing out horizontal, keeping my face warm as I read in the chair. The heat was over my head. If you place it on the ground, it will be too far away from the face, rendering only two candles worth of heat. It cost double what my old heater did, which I can't resurrect. The web has become my next search for my next camping trip. For this appliance, one star.

👤The listing indicates only outdoor use. The listing indicated that the unit was indoor safe when I bought it. I didn't read the user manual before using. I used this unit for the first time during the day and it was indoors. Thank goodness. I lit the heater before breakfast. I was not able to light the camp stove because there wasn't enough oxygen left in the space. I shut off the heat and opened the doors. I might not have woken up the next day if I had not lit this heater. I know what to look for in a safe. I hope no one has suffered irreversible consequences from the same mistake. It's too late to return this product, but I'm still alive and better educated on safe heating indoors.

7. KEY TEK Wall Mounted Patio Heater

KEY TEK Wall Mounted Patio Heater

The use of authentic accessories with this theater could cause serious injury, and it will not be possible. Key TEK Patio Heater has high heating efficiency and fast heating speed. It has a high power of 1500W and can provide rapid and efficient heating for indoor or outdoor in the winter. Installation video makes it easy to install or relocate the wall-mounted heater package. It can adjust the angle from 0 to 90 degrees. Easy operation and 3 heat setting. There is a switch on the right side. Open when there is a yellow light and close when there is a red light. The health wall-mounted patio HEATER is made of health wall-mounted wood. The electric heat can be used with ultraviolet radiation and golden tube. Enjoy a healthy life while heating.

Brand: Key Tek

👤This is an excellent appliance. The output is 500, 1000 and 1500 watt. The instructions are useless when it comes to operation. You need to know what to do with the heater. The side of the unit has a black switch. Leave it on all the time. There is a red light at the front right side of the unit. Turn on the unit and select the output you want. On the right side of the unit, there is a green light. It works well; heats up quickly. The remote can be used to turn off the heater. Caution when using two units on the same circuit. You may trip your circuit if they are both using 1000 watt.

👤I love it with one exception. Without the remote, it is worthless. You will never be able to use the lamp if you lose the remote.

👤Good temperature. I wish the cord was longer. The paint on the grating burned off. I worry that when the remote dies, it will be useless because the only way to turn it on is by remote. It cooks my wife slowly.

👤No temp. Only heats one spot in front of the heater for a distance of about 4 feet, and that was on the 1500 setting. Don't waste your money.

👤It takes the edge off. It's comfortable under it 5ft away and68 degrees. It's about what you expect from a heat dish but spread it out a bit more. Is it possible that it would have more heat? It's fine if you use a 110 volt heater. It's cold and windy when I get out of the spa. It does what it's supposed to, but don't expect commercial grade heating in outdoor bars and restaurants. It's too far away if you're below 60 degree or with higher winds.

👤The wall mount heater works well. I got it to put in my garage so I could do some work in it on the cold night, it's great for small spaces, it comes with everything you need to mount it to the wall, and you can control it with a remote control.

👤This was a really nice heater. The heater stopped working in February of 2022, I ordered it in October of that year. The power goes off when the light comes on for a split second. This product will make you sick in the middle of winter, so don't buy it.

👤The price is good for what you are getting. The small areas can be warm with this heater. It's not for heating a whole space larger than 20 square feet. I work out of my two car garage and have a set up that is directly over my workbench that is mounted to a stud on the wall about 4 feet above where I sit. The output is enough to keep me warm in the winter when the ambient temp in my garage gets down to around 25 degrees. It doesn't really raise the total temp of the garage, but it's useless further away from the heater, and it's not really significant in raising the total temp of the garage. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble. There are only two pieces of the system, the heater and the brackets. There is no apparent way to control the heater without the 2 remotes that mine came with.

8. AgiiMan Outdoor Patio Heater Greenhouse

AgiiMan Outdoor Patio Heater Greenhouse

There is a large plastic base which holds a disposable propane fuel cylinder. A patio heating device for outdoor use. The electric outdoor heater is innovative. The heat generated by the garage fan heaters is pre-programmed. The internal temperature of the stone won't stay high because it doesn't generate heat at a constant rate like resistance wires. The garage space heater is more safe than others. The 120V patio heater is designed for longer wires and larger dimensions than most of the market. There is a long cord and floor mats. The portable electric greenhouse heater is portable. The temperature can be adjusted by a fan and high heat. The knob on the thermostat should be turned toward the sign. Use this energy efficient office small outdoor heater to heat your office. AgiiMan outdoor grow tent heater can help reduce heating costs. It's a good idea to use it as supplemental heat to the main heating system when you're just hanging out in one room. When the parts of the portable heater start to heat up, the automatic overheat system will shut the unit down. It's perfect for houses with children and pets.

Brand: Agiiman

👤It's a little smaller than I anticipated. The heat is decent for the size. I bought this to keep on my porch. I don't smoke in my home because I have a 3 and 4 year old. I go outside on my porch. I wanted something to keep me warm when I'm on the porch. It's decent and takes a bit of the chill out of the air, but needs to be positioned or propped up just right to get the full effect. To feel the heat, have to keep a few feet away from me. I'm content with the price and it probably isn't meant for what I'm using it for.

👤I use this to heat a 2.5 car so that I can work in it during the winter. I bought a product to try it out. I plan to buy more to heat the space. It worked well. It gets hot quickly, the built in fan distributes heat well, and it is a very convenient size. I am not suggesting that one of these will heat a 2.5 car garage. It kept me warm when I was at the area I was working.

👤The heating element never gets warm enough to glow red, the pictures are deceiving, and the heating element shut off for no reason in the first hour I used it. If you are sitting in a closet with the piece of china garbage 2 feet from your face, it will warm you up. The "fan speed" knob is either on or off, and once it clicks on, you can adjust it up or down as you please. I would not pay 10 bucks for this. Nice looks and garbage functions.

👤The black-and-yellow space heater was appealing to me because of its industrial appearance. I assumed that it would be more sturdy than some other heaters with a more decorative look. It draws relatively little electricity and puts out a lot of heat. I was worried about blowing circuit breakers in my old house. That has not happened so far. Even though the heat is turned off, the fan in this unit can be left on to circulate air around the house.

👤It's not useful for outdoors. It will not heat a large room or a desk. When making a decision, make sure to look at the measurements. The drawing of the table is not scale.

👤If it had not broken down so quickly, I would give it a good review. The first couple of months it was great. It wouldn't turn off. Next time the dial was plugged in, it was stuck. There is a low heat and no on and off. We haven't had it running continuously. I guess it decided to stop working.

👤I worked out in the garage over the last three months, and the heater worked great. Good fan and good heat. Two weeks ago, I couldn't turn the knob. I smelled like something was burning. The plastic stopped working when it started to degrade.

👤Three months ago, I purchased this little heating appliance. It was only intended to keep our bathroom warm during the cold winter months. I liked the temperature controls and the amount of heat it put off. I liked the safety features that kicked in if it was knocked over. After a few weeks of use, I noticed that the heating element was becoming more sensitive and sometimes you had to pick it up and set it down a few times before it registered. It shut off in the middle of running. On December 8, 2020, the heater will not work. The pin in the bottom doesn't matter if it's triggered or not, I've taken it out and put it back in. The heater won't turn back on. I guess I should be thankful that it won't burn my house down, but I would like a heating system that will heat my house for more than two months.

👤My lake front cottage in northern Maine received a heater this week. We don't have heat or insulation and usually leave for Florida in the middle of October. Our low last night was 37 and our little heater kept me comfortable as I read. When I went to bed, I had a 5 pound heater in the bedroom that was very comfortable. I am impressed with the amount of heat this little heater produces and I am also impressed with the simple safety feature that shuts off the power if the machine is not in an upright position. I will be ordering 2 more units tomorrow. The solution is a great price.

👤All seems well after a pre- winter test run. I hope it works out as expected because it is a solid product. I won't know for sure until the return date has passed, so we'll see if I'm happy or pissed off. There is a After the cold sets in, I'll issue a follow-up. This doesn't need to heat a lot of space because it's next to my computer and it allows some drafts. It seemed to work just fine when it was set on low. I want to add an operational tip, but don't place it too close to you, thinking it will be warmer. Not true. If you are sitting in a chair and the unit is on the floor, place it about 3 feet away from you. The heat will rise up to you if you allow 3 feet. Hope this helps.

👤I was looking for a new space heater after my old one died. I am very happy with this purchase. My dog likes to sit in front of the heater but if it got knocked over it wouldn't turn off. The button on this heater only allows it to turn on when it's standing up on a surface. I am cautious when using this heater, but I like the safety features and different heat settings that this one has.

👤The small size of this heater is not for you. The little think can make some heat. If you put it on full blast, it will run you out of the room. It is an excellent heater for the price. It has a thermostat button that you can use to lower the heat output. It's good for an office space, dorm room, house bedroom, or a living room space. This little thing can be used many different ways. If it is not in the upright position, it has a knockover feature. It was bought for our rancher home. We don't have central heating so we bought two. They are perfect. We move them around with ease whenever we need to knock the chill off of the air or when we are in a room for a while. Pick up one of these little heaters and enjoy the winter season, instead of running central heating into all rooms, including you are not currently using. Targeting your heat is a great way to save money.

👤We used to use a space heater in our small greenhouse. It's been 24 hours and there's no doubt that a greenhouse heater is better and safer than a cheap space heater. The greenhouse is kept at a consistent 85 degrees when the temperature is low and high. It's very quiet. The fan is not strong. It's a well made fan. Let's see if it lasts without conking out. I will update this review if it does.

👤In Montana, gardening is never predictable and I usually spend a lot of time covering plants or taking them to the garage on cold days. I decided to try a greenhouse tent for the first time this season and am very happy with the decision. The seedlings are happy and snug in the tent at 62 degrees, despite the cold and snow of this morning. I've been using it for two weeks and it's been great. I bought a blue tooth hygrometer. I can check on the greenhouse on my phone. I will definitely do this again next year to save my back from lifting heavy pots, and get a head start on our short growing season.

👤The weather in Nebraska is very unpredictable. We are getting down to 35 at night in May. A 10 foot by 10 foot greenhouse requires a 10 foot by 10 foot heater. It is only keeping it 10 degrees warmer than it is outside when it is high heat and highest temperature setting. This is not good for cold climates. I am not happy with this purchase.

👤I bought 2 of these fans for my grow tents. The mist in the air is what they sit in. It is not acceptable for a product being sold as water proof to be rusting all over. They are only used inside and in a closed tent. I'm supposed to just eat the cost because it's been more than the allotted return/exchange time frame. I lost an entire grow of over 3 pounds of mushrooms, which cost me hundreds of dollars in lost products, but the market value of them is $1600.00 per pound. You have been warned.

👤Great product! I was a little worried that the valve wouldn't shut off on its own when it got to a certain temperature, but it does a great job at that. I need my greenhouse to be at a perfect temperature. If it showed the different heats for every part of the ranges, I would know where to put it if I wanted a certain temperature.

👤It's better to have a thermostat control. I had to go to the green house all night to keep the temperature up as the temp dropped outside. I don't know what they mean by "the desired room temperature," but this heater doesn't have a place where you can set an actual temperature. When it hits a certain temperature, it doesn't turn off automatically. It appears that the setting halfway between Min and Max keeps the greenhouse 20 above the outside temperature. The greenhouse temperature was 71 and the outside temperature was 51. The temperature in the greenhouse was too hot for my little seedlings when the outside temperature went up to 64. I gave it to my son so he could use it for his garage, but it is adequate if he is in the garage to watch it.

11. Texsport Sportsmate Portable Propane Heater

Texsport Sportsmate Portable Propane Heater

Zero safety hazard is achieved by this electric heater, which is made of quality assured flame retardant material. When it gets too hot, overheat protection will shut the heater down. The burner is durable. Pressure Regulator On/Off Control Valve adjusts the burner capacity. There is a large plastic base which holds a disposable propane fuel cylinder.

Brand: Texsport

👤Simple to use, reliable, sips propane, gives out a nice heat. If moved, won't blow out easily or go out. The igniter isn't an igniter for those who say it doesn't work. It is a heat sensor that warms up and keeps the gas flowing; you need to depress it for 30 seconds or so until it is warm and then the unit will stay lit. A long fireplace style lighter is required. This one is easy to use, reliable, and has a good price. It is a controlled open flame, nothing more than that. You will not be disappointed. Buying 4 more for friends who like to camp. It is what the doctor ordered on chilly morning to get the hands and face warm. They use this in an enclosed space, which is never a good idea for a propane device. I don't recommend you pick up a cheap carbon monoxide detector if you are dining there. People who are odorless and colorless are killers.

👤Why did I have to wait so long to get one? The 7 year old and I hunted in a ground blind. The temperatures were in the teens. The packs fit nicely with the heater and propane tanks.

👤The self-starter that was supposed to be used to replace the heater failed and caught fire. The self-starter broke. I got a Mr. Heater lil Buddy from Walmart, but had to return it because it went out every time I moved the golf cart. I was looking for a bare-bones heater. I have to light it with a BBQ starter, but I know this will work. I have to hold the red starter button for 30 seconds to get it hot enough to start. I used it for a couple of weeks. A bottle of propane lasts about 2 rounds.

👤Don't buy the Mr Heater product. The heater is reliable no matter how cold or windy it is. You open the valve, hear the gas, and then put a lighter to it, and it will turn red hot. It keeps you warm. It won't shut off until you close the gas valve, unlike other products that turn off with the lightest movement. It's the best personal heater out there. I've tried many. They are in all of the deer hunting blinds. I have 6 of the Mr Heater units for sale.

👤Quality parts do not instill confidence, but they put out decent heat. This is the tent trailer I will use to take camping with me this week. It is raining so didn't go so can't speak to the effectiveness of heating up the camper. It's not clear how this will do in an open golf cart or ATV, as the heat radius is only around a foot, but warnings say not to use in an enclosed space. The anti-tip shut-off feature doesn't work on mine and the initial smell is overpowering. Do not put it up in the air for the first ten minutes. Will try to get into the woods to see if it works.
