👤I have an old pair of boots. The 5 year old pair are very comfortable all day on the concrete floor. The old pair have stayed together despite a few quick-lace failures. They were made in Vietnam. The same size and style were made in China. The inside of by heels began to burn after less than an hour. The Chinese model of the shoe was more narrow than the old one, and it explains the smaller upper. If you want to maintain your reputation, outsourcing to the cheapest manufacturer isn't always the best option. There's a wally world on every corner, the same boot at half price, minus the label. They cut that corner too, but they didn't put any stitching in the tongue. Anything to save a buck. Disappointed...
👤I needed a pair of hiking boots to replace the boots that were only 1 1/2 years old but lost their waterproofness in the first six months and almost broke my skin when a weed stalker went through the side of the field. I was getting tired of replacing the second pair of Keene's that had gone bad and they were at $130. I started looking at reviews and found these. They have a large toe box. I put a coat of oil on them after taking them out. I knew they would take a break. I have about three or four miles of walking through the fields and they seem to be breaking in quickly. I put on about 700 miles a year. If you are looking for hiking boots that will give you good ankle support, look elsewhere. These are for easy hiking. I put in a pair of Dr. Scholls first to make them comfortable. I will give an update in three or four months if I remember correctly. I have had a chance to wear these for a while, including the recent snow storm and frigid temperatures. We got 5” of snow this morning, and we are 4 or 5 degrees with a wind chill of -8. My feet have stayed warm and dry on a 25 to 35 minute period, because I had been wearing wool socks. Walk through the fields. I decided to try summer cotton socks because of the cold and snow. I am a 70 year old with diabetes and it affects circulation so I am sensitive to cold and heat. Even in the snow and cold, I walk 3 miles a day with my dog. The results of a 20 minute walk were warm and dry. Harley was getting snow turning to ice between her toes every few minutes. We would have to stop. I would have to remove it. When I received these boots, I put my Dr. Scholls insoles from my previous pair in, rubbed them in with a coat of oil, and started walking. I have found them to be more comfortable than the Keens. I wore it previously. I don't walk as much as a lot of people, but they're doing well for me for field and neighborhood walking. If you want a pair of boots to wear, every day, and forget when you take them off, look elsewhere. These are leather and need a lot of care. If they get wet, don't wear them the next day. When I get soaked in the rain with my dog, I wipe them clean with an old towel, put shoe trees in them to keep the leather from Shrinking, and set them aside where there is a flow of air to let them air. You will ruin the leather if you try and dry them with hot air. It seems to work if you put them a few feet away from the fan. I keep an old pair that I use while they are drying. After they have dried completely, I retreat every inch of leather, paying particular attention to the seams and around the grommets, and then let it sit and dry. Is the pain above? You need to take care of these boots, not let them get muddy and wet, and toss them in the corner for the next day. The boots were a good buy for the money and I have had them for a year. I will repeat a few of the points I made before. 1. They are not waterproof in any way. 2. Do not leave them in a dark hallway if you get soaked. They will be ruined if you do that. They should be put on a towel in front of a fan. If you place them on a heated surface or someplace where hot air blows on them, they will ruin the leather. 3. Once dry, polish your boots. I put a match to the polish in the can and let it flame and liquify, then take a rag and dip it into the liquid polish and rub it into the leather. I rubbed the polish in with a cloth and then used a brush to buff it to a shine. If you wear leather hiking boots and walk through wet fields you should take care of the leather because it takes time and effort. I don't wear these two days in a row in wet weather. If you are looking for that type of boot, you will be looking at three times the price.
The backpack size is 13"*20"*11" Military backpack is made of high density fabric and is water resistant. The molle backpack has a molle system and is used as a backpack for 3 days. The backpack has double-stitched, heavy-duty zippers and utility-style cord pulls, side and front load compression system, Ventilated mesh padded back area and shoulder strap. The military backpack has a hydration compatible that works great for a hydration bladder. Tactical assault pack backpack can be used as a range bag, survival backpack, army backpack, trekking backpack or day pack.
👤The bag is really good. It was bought for a bag. There is plenty of room for a change of clothes for 2 people, a first aid kit, food for 3 days, cookware, a couple water bottles, water purification system, etc... We like that it's big and sturdy, but it doesn't shout military or bug out bag. If someone doesn't look closely, the patch could be passed for a school bag. The straps are comfortable. We're really happy with this bag, we're still working on putting everything together slowly. We will most likely purchase another one of these as we build up our supplies. This bag is awesome. We have been building up our bag over time and tonight I reorganized everything. We're at the stage where we need another bag, so I'm ordering one this week. The bag is strong and tough. I'm medium build. The bag is heavy but not terrible if I put the waist strap on it. We don't plan on hiking into the woods because we are planning our bug out bags for more emergencies like tornadoes or hurricanes. We focused on other things and included a couple basic shelter items. This is about 6 months of slowly buying and gathering items. We are very happy with the bag. Now is the time to buy another one.
👤Since the last bag I had lasted less than a year, I wanted to test the strength of this bag. I use it as a crossbody. We shoot when I go with my friends. Depending on how much time we have to spend at the range, we can do 600-1,000 rounds each. I put 3 full size handguns, eye and ear protection, and anywhere from 600-1,000 rounds of different calibers in this bag, and it has help up each time. This is the strongest range bag I've owned, and I've been shooting for 26 years. After I fill it with what I need, there is more room to spare.
👤I love this bag. I looked far and wide. This is my third time buying from Amazon and it was a huge disappointment. I returned both. This bag is perfect for me as a medic. I have a lot of extra Molle Attachments and the bag has the perfect places to put them. This is the best bag I have found for tactical situations, however there is room for growth and here they are. The chest strap is not very sturdy, the waist straps are not padded, the zippers are not a comparable brand, and it doesn't feel like they will last as long.
👤I used a Swiss backpack as a travel bag for every week of air travel, but I ordered this backpack to replace it. I had this for 10 years. It holds a lot of things. It was stuffed and heavy. When it arrived it was light weight. The old expression doesn't apply to a book by its cover. This bag grew and accommodated more than I have before. The structure grew in strength and stature. I didn't want to use it because I didn't think it could ever replace my quality bag, I had beaten it up for 10 years. I can't believe how much I love this bag after giving it a try. I convinced 4 of my colleagues to pick one up and explain it to them. The bag is perfect for what we need and every one of them said thank you to me. I pack an entire week of clothing, tools and electronics. This is not a large bag. It grows whenever you need it to. It is small and light if you pack it for a day trip. I highly recommend.
It's not dry and it's not disposable. Tenergy's multifunctional weather radio is a must-have tool during disasters such as power outages, hurricanes, or earthquakes; built-in tools such as led flashlight, SOS siren, and radio frequencies like AM, FM, and WM are critical. The built-in 2000mAh battery can be charged by generating energy with the hand crank or solar panel, or through other power sources, such as the includedAAA batteries or a power source. The emergency flash lights illuminate the dark with two lights that can shine up to 120 lumens, or the emergency light and sirens which flash the word "SORRY" in a Morse code to alert others to accidents or urgent situations. The built-in li-ion battery in this weather alert radio can double as a renewable power source for cell phones and electronics when fully charged. Tenergy's 1 year warranty and lifetime support with local support are included in this.
👤I haven't found anything that I dislike. This radio is small. It has a flashlight, a floodlight, and four ways to pay. It's small and light, and comes in a case. I am happy I didn't go for a cheaper radio.
👤We wanted to test it out before an emergency. The Triple A batteries that were supplied with the device were loaded up and I had to hook up my phone to it. The blue light that showed the device was working was off after 5 minutes. We removed the batteries and allowed the device to cool after we loaded the new batteries. I timed how long this set of batteries would last. The answer was 29 minutes. We tried the hand crank for 5 minutes and didn't gain anymore of a charge after that. We will try the solar charge tomorrow and see what happens, but I don't expect much and will return this. In the event of an emergency 3 batteries for 29 minutes will get you a 7% charge which is enough to get a call off, but in the event of a long term power outage, this isn't sustainable.
👤It has a place to charge my phone and has other additions. It's good for emergencies as it picks up the stations better than one I've purchased before. It takes a long time to get power from the crank. I'm keeping it handy. It comes with batteries and a light for searching. It takes hours to get a refill and I do it on my computer.
👤I bought this Tenergy to have a source of power to charge my cell phone during a power outage. The fact that the product could be charged multiple times was a selling point. I connected to the Tenergy by cell phone after it was fully charged. The cell was down to 70% and the energy took an hour to get it back to 100%, this was acceptable to me. The Tenergy was turned on the next day to check the status of the battery and it was still fully charged. The hand crank, solar charge, andAAA batteries were not used, so a total 5 star rating was not given. It is recommended that the Tenergy battery be fully charged when put away and that it be checked occasionally for the status and if necessary charged so that it will be fully charged when the time comes for use. The battery is fully charged. The battery is down to 3 bars. I will bring it back to 4 bars. I received an e-mail asking if the radio has short wave reception. The manual doesn't say if WB is the same as shortwave, but the radio has AM, FM and WB-weather Bands.
👤It was very hard to tune into a station because it had to play a lot in the tuner. It's well put together and sturdy. This issue needs to be addressed. I bought a digital one.
👤The emergency radio is nice. It's a perfect addition to my bag.

Up to 14 days in the watch mode, up to 16 hours in the gps mode, and up to 40 hours in the Ultratrac battery saver mode.
👤I have been on a frustrating activity tracker and smart watch journey. I was looking for something that didn't seem right. I like to hunt, hike, bike, and occasionally run. An accurate altimeter, barometer, andGPS are things that are very important to me. The first thing I bought was the Fenix 3 HR. I thought I had found the one that was impressive in the beginning. The issue was the altimeter. It wasn't accurate. I waited for the Fenix 5. Same issue. It was worse than the 3. I was told to put the watch in warm soapy water. I continued to experience the same issue even after this seemed to reset it back to normal. I decided not to put my watch in a warm glass of soapy water every night. The 5 plus appeared to solve the issues. But then, garmin made a change to the Instinct. This watch has caught my eye so far. It is light and comfortable. The Fenix watches are large and heavy to wear. You forget you are wearing a watch. The features are great. It has everything I need. I don't care about some of the measurements the Fenix gives you. Some people have commented on the display. I don't agree. I would like it to be called E Ink. It is a pleasure to look at and readable. It is black and white. The keys are easy to use. The menus are very fast. You can use the settings to get where you want. The buttons are very good and I have not accidentally pressed one while bending my wrist. The accuracy of the ABC sensors is still being tested but so far it is looking great. I can not say enough about this watch. It seems like a great model from Garmin that will fit in with the niche hunting/outdoors market. I will give an update in a month. I have had this watch for a few weeks and have taken it on several hunting trips. I am very impressed with this watch. This watch is light and comfortable. I think I forgot how nice it is to wear a watch that you forget is attached to your wrist, because I have been wearing heavier watches over the years. I didn't like wearing my watches to bed. I would get into my wrist because it was too bulky. Tracking seems to be accurate. When you are tracking an activity, the attitude has been accurate. What I like about this watch is it is comfortable. It is lightweight and responsive. Menus and screen. The buttons arecessed to avoid Accidental Presses. I only have a few complaints and suggestions to improve the watch. When you lock the keys, you can hold any button for a short time in order tounlock the watch. The amount of time it takes to hold the button is too long. It takes about half a second for it to be unlocked currently. This is a small complaint. The screen is a proprietary material. I would like it to be a display made of sapphires. You can't tell if there is a screen protector on the face because I put one on it. The battery indicator should show a percentage as opposed to the 5 bars in a battery indicator. It would be nice if they changed that. Please ask me questions. I would be happy to answer. Over the years, I've done a lot of research on these watches and believe I have finally found the perfect watch for my needs. I've used all of the watches. This is my favorite watch. An absolutely great watch is still available. Every single day, this watch is on my wrist. It is still very comfortable. I have had a couple issues that I will address. It is a button on the watch. The watch was still under warranty. The watch was replaced quickly. They received an A+ for their customer service. I would be SOL if it had gone out after the warranty period. I think it is a one year warranty. I use this watch a lot. It is always worn. It has held up very well. I still think it is an amazing watch for the price. The lock feature on the watch is one of the issues I stated in the review. You can lock the screen. It is very easy to get it unlocked by bending your wrist and hitting a button. This could be a simple fix. The amount of time required to press a button is not a problem. It doesn't happen very often. It can be very frustrating if it does during an activity. This will be my last update. I will buy another watch whenever this one dies because it has been an amazing watch for me. I hope the watch continues to be improved. All the boxes are checked for my needs.
One piece of sterile Z-fold blood clotting gauze is included. The first aid stops bleeding within minutes. Hospitals, first responders, military, law enforcement, general public, and outdoor enthusiasts use it. It works in any first aid kit, medical kit, iFAK pouch, and survival kits. In your car first aid kit, camping essentials, and backpack emergency kit, you can travel safely.
👤This is worse than the injury you are trying to prevent, and it's worse than the fire of 1000 suns. But! Don't apply it when small ears are present. They will learn new words.
👤A friend was cleaning up after dinner at my apartment when a glass broke and cut her hand very deep. It was bleeding all over. I put this on and it stopped bleeding. She got stitches at urgent care.
👤I received this two days after ordering it. Fast delivery. I have used before. The back woods are 1.5 miles from the trail. There was a lot of blood when my wife cut her hand. The bleeding stopped immediately. It was a life saver back in the woods and enabled us to get out safely. She got 5 stitches in her hand when we went to the emergency room. The order was to replace the QuikColt. We won't hike in the woods without it. It works to stop bleeding. It is easy to carry.
👤I'm pretty sure this saved my field dog when he sliced his leg vein. The dressing did the trick in 30 seconds. He healed very quickly after being kept in place for 24 hours. Highly recommended for back country planning and field packs.
👤My husband takes Plavix and Aspirin, so he is worried about bleeding. He cut his finger when a glass shattered. I will keep this product in my medicine cabinet and car because it works well.
👤The product came dried up. Didn't seem to work well.
👤The basic first aid kits don't always have the right stuff for hiking in remote areas. I've never had to use one of these kits in my years hiking. It's one of the few items in my kit that I don't want to be without. One day, I saw someone use one of these. I was sold on the need to have them in my kit. If you put one of these in your kit, you're not going to have to worry about what to do when something happens on the trail.
👤This is a small piece. I can't speak to it's effectiveness because I haven't used it. I take my first aid kit with me when I travel.

👤I loved this light until I had to charge it. Less than an hour after it was plugged in, it caught on fire. The light on the kitchen counter caught fire, but luckily there was someone in the next room, and it was on a granite countertop. This is the first time I have had a problem with a device that is charged. The smell is still present in my house. I was very frightened and disappointed.
👤This is the third neck reading light. I've had. It is by far the most nice. It's almost weightless when you put it around your neck. Two double A batteries were on the back of my neck. The way the arms lay, they light up what I'm working on. I thought the arms weren't bright enough to reach where I hold my knitting. That's not the case. The lighting is bright. I like that the arms are short, as one of my other lights has long arms, and it's a pain to bend them up to light my knitting where I hold my work. The others shift as I knit. These don't. I like the fact that they can be used again and again. The 'C' is the same as my phone which is handy. It has a cord. I have my own plug in. I'm going to buy a back up and two more for my knitting friends, I'm so surprised by these. I can't believe the quality of the illumination. I can't comment on the battery life yet, as this is the first time I'm using these. I wanted to get a review out as soon as possible. You will be happy with these. They look and feel good. A small user manual is available. The lighting options are explained. It says the battery can be used for up to 80 hours. My husband likes to watch TV in the dark. I can get knitting done in the dark with these. The light seems to concentrate it's light so as not to bother other people nearby. I will test that in the theater when I get home. Overall. I love the light on the neck. It's the best I've seen.
👤It's a huge game-changer for reading when I have it on, and it may look weird, but I will look like a complete dork when I have it on.
👤I bought this device for an international trip. The independent lights adjust nicely and I liked the feature of variable brightness levels. It is light and folds nicely to fit in my backpack. The description says it charges on a port. This is not true. I have a number of cables, most of which are not after-market. This device did not work on any of my cables. I had to use the cable that came with the device. This seems to be a way to make you buy a non-standard cable when the original is no longer usable. I thought we had gotten beyond proprietary charging connections, but apparently these guys haven't gotten the word. I got an e-mail from the manufacturer after my first review. E-mail and all: It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing Is that true? It doesn't charge with a charging cable. I could have gotten my money back, but my integrity wouldn't let me. I'm leaving my original review untouched and posting this as additional information for anyone who wants to read it. If you make a good product with honest descriptions, you won't need "3 solutions" to get a good review.
The smoke and carbon Monoxide filters are made by MIRA Safety. The VK-450 filters can be used to transform your gas mask into a smoke hood. These advanced filters can provide hours of protection and clean air from some of the most common disasters faced by US citizens. Protection from a wide range of NBC threats is provided by the proven design. Smoke mask filters can be used in environments with less than 18% oxygen. The shelf life is over 13 years.
👤I survived WW3 because of this product.
👤What interesting times do we live in? I bought a few of them. It feels good to have them around. I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope, I never need this. Why is Amazon asking me about the flavor? It is better if it is microwaved.
👤It was sealed in clear polyethylene. Somewhat large. Will not fit in the bag. The thickness of the poly makes attaching it difficult, especially after a gas attack had begun. This is bought as an "in case", in case civil unrest this year is worse than last year, which came within a few blocks of my house. No one wants to know how to know when the filter is going to lose its usefulness.
👤I will use it if I need to. I want my family to be prepared for anything.
👤Buy once and cry once. Accepting "just as good" when your life is on the line is not right.
👤What was advertised was exactly what I got. Have bought 2 more.
👤I can not leave a review for how well they do because they are a branch of the military and I will not be talking about it. It is a very heavy and durable construction, well sealed, and the safety ratings meet all the industry requirements if not exceed them. A 20 year shelf life is a huge plus. You're set to go in almost any CBRN emergency with this combination. If you plan to use them immediately, you should not open the seal. If you would like to test it. I suggest buying another one and leaving one sealed for emergencies if you use it on the job everyday.
👤The can is made of thick plastic. It should last through the long expiration date.
The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. 👤3 AA batteries are required. Surprisingly light for the size. It's not cheap to use China plastic. It's ridiculous how bright this thing is. I hang this and put it on the table like a regular lantern. It is black and folds up compact. It looks like a tactical move. It's easy to turn on. Simply open it and it will be on. It's not necessary to misplace a small switch or button in the dark. We had a cabin fire and I threw the broken window out to break it. I am sad that my lantern is missing. If you've read my review so far, this is a test. If so, well done. I am going to give you lunch. I apologize for lying to you.
👤I bought this lantern almost a year ago, but VONT has started sending me emails that are not related to the lantern. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from this company. If they're selling your email address and other information to other people for a few pennies, you're probably right. This needs to be fixed by Amazon. There is a The lantern worked for a while, but then the lights started flickering, making it useless.
👤I dropped it and it didn't break. The plastic doesn't seem to crack or break, and they both light up very well. The batteries are included. It's a straight forward approach. These will help when the power goes out, light up a tent well, and provide a work area. The handles are strong. There is no flashlight feature. Straight forward lanterns are what these are.
👤We are camping. The lanterns are easy to use and have a good price. These put off a good amount of light. The led bulbs are used in them. The hanging feature is great. We can either hang from the interior hook built into the roof of our tent or place it on our picnic table. It gave us plenty of light to take care of things before bed. The camping bins have these additions. After my husband got our generator going, we grabbed one of these and were no longer sitting in the dark. These are better than a flashlight in those situations as they are directional light and they light up a room quite well.
👤There are many good things about these mini L.E.D. lanterns. Value For The Dollar is one of the most important criteria when I rate a product. These lanterns deliver. They are light and bright. There are others on the market that are less expensive. I decided to purchase these because they were plastic. The base and the body were not damaged. The batteries seem to last a long time. If you lock your eyes on them, they will be bright enough to make your vision blurry. At $7. I feel like I have great value for the dollar. Some of the brands with metal bases were reviewed and commented on, and they were found to be rusting up after contact with water.
The machine is washable. It's easy to care for your new blanket. They get softer with each wash. You can scroll down for care instructions. Extra large emergency blankets are 23% larger than standard foil blankets for full body protection. The mylar heat sheets can be converted into an emergency shelter, sleeping bag, emergency bivy, or other survival gear with a little bit of tape and paracord. NASA designed mylar to be waterproof and reflect up to 90% of body heat, making it perfect for hiking, running, and first aid kits. Their thermal blankets are a must-have for camping, trail running, marathons, 48hr/72hr/30 day go bags, tactical gear preppers, earthquake survival kits, home emergency, and car first aid kits. Durability, lightweight, collapsible packaging includes 4 extra large survival blankets rolled into ripstop nylon stuff sacks. You can carry enough blankets for your entire group in the included pack. The perfect balance of light weight and durable storage is what makes their blanket so unique. Other emergency survival blankets are cheap and flimsy, and are made from cheap bags. It's difficult to be there when you need them. In your car, roadside emergency kit, survival kit, first aid kit, bug out bag, zombie survival kit, and camping gear, there are tactical emergency blankets. They stand behind their products. 👤It doesn't seem to be any different from the others, so it's the world's toughest emergency blanket. I don't think it's true. They come individually packaged, but other brands do the same. It's a decent product and you can use it as an emergency blanket. Nothing more from what I can tell. If you think they are less expensive, buy them. It will probably be the same quality. I can't see any difference between "World's Toughest" and what I was sold on.
👤I used this as a base for my tent for 3 days in the cold and rain, and I bought it for a bike packing trip. It kept the ground water out of the tent and kept me warm inside the tent. The Mylar was so thin that it could be folded up with my tent, but it ripped the last night. If I were to go out again, I would bring two, one for ground cover and the other to wrap around myself. I would have been warm using one as a blanket because the temp dropped so cold.
👤The ones I received were of decent quality when I first ordered them. It's better than the normal silver ones I've used in the past. I was greatly disappointed after receiving my second order. The material definitely is not the same as the packaging. These blankets are no longer as durable as the cheap silver Mylar emergency blankets you can get anywhere else. They have the same orange color as the first order, however the sheen is different and the plastic sheets themselves are not as durable as they could be. The original ones I purchased back in June are still holding up well, however this second set I purchased in June is no more durable than the standard silver ones I've purchased elsewhere. I don't recommend these to anyone unless the company steps the quality back up to what it was previously, which is why they never do. I wouldn't trust them to do so if they were cheap, but they are still decent for insulation if you are careful with them. When a company starts cutting corners to rest on their laurels, that's when I start looking for a replacement, because I am willing to pay a higher price for actual quality.
👤I was expecting more heavy duty from the description. The emergency blanket has a pattern on one side and a storage bag. I wouldn't recommend it.
👤I bought these to keep my pets out of my furniture at night. My cats and dogs won't try to jump.
👤The blankets are the toughest space blankets. I can't tell if they are more durable than the cheapest ones on the market. There was no branding on the blanket. The varying bags are cute, but don't add much value other than being presentable gifts. Don't waste your money.
👤This blanket was used as my sleeping source in the cold and snow. I was still very cold during the night, so I didn't think it was working. I could tell that I would have been a lot colder if this blanket hadn't done its job. It's not something to keep you warm and toasty, but it does allow you to survive the night and I use two, one below me and one on top. They are easy to have as a just in case item and take up little space. As long as you are careful, Durability is good.

👤If the case floats and is close by, that doesn't matter. Love everything in this case. You want to impress others with the tools you have, and you need everything you have for an emergency lost in the woods. The compass is from the macrame wristband. Thank you so much. I love this!
👤The items inside the box were good. The box is flimsy and won't stay closed. It would be a great gift idea if it wasn't in a cheap box. Sorry.
👤Three of these were gifts for husband, son-in-law and a friend.
👤The case was cheap and had a broken clip.
👤I bought this for my son in-law. He is hunting and fishing. It has everything you need. My husband thought it was a great find.
👤The box was broken before it was opened.
👤The kit has a lot of stuff and the spring activated knife is really nice. My husband loved this set.

👤This is one page and it is folded up to be a pocket size. Many important things had to be so compressed that a person with no knowledge or even a little survival knowledge will not have enough basic information in several areas that are covered but not well enough to be useful. It is just one page folded up. The additional info that you can find is helpful, but sometimes in some of the apps the video or info is not as complete or as well produced as it could be, and it may not be available to look at when you need it. Being prepared for an emergency is serious. It is great that you are looking for information to be prepared. If you want to buy the necessary equipment for your home and car, you should buy a full and complete Survival book. Is this page better than nothing? .... Yes... If you buy this, you will think you are prepared, but you will not buy a full and well written survival book.
👤This is one of the dumbest things I have ever bought on Amazon. The idea of a pocket-sized survival book is a great one, but one of the first things it says is that you need to carry things with you and not depend on electronics, and the entire guide is full of QR Codes for you to use your phone. It's even more stupid that they lead you to the internet. The diagrams on how to set traps, gut a fish, and tell what different tracks are all useful to look at, but they could be better described in a book. The details are so small that you can't really understand what is happening, and everything is so simple that you can just remember the information. One thing I read that made me want to write this review was that at the end of the "Worst Case Scenario" section, it says that one of the essentials to check off, following a gas mask, is a Bible. I don't know if that is put in as a joke. I understand that people are religious, but the fact that you had to add this to a manual small enough to fit in your pocket is ridiculous. This was the dumbest thing I have ever read, and I have nothing against religion. Don't waste money. You can buy a survival guide. I only give it a star because it does some of what it tells you, but nothing else you wouldn't find in a basic survival guide.
👤The product is resistant to water and tear and has good information. It was possible to put a hole in it accidentally. The water resistance is pretty good. All this info can be found online for free. I don't think 10 bucks is worth it.
👤I like this guide. I can't believe the amount of information in this manual. It's better than most survival books that are full sized. I give away survival kits as gifts to my family members, and this guide is going into every one of them. I notice something new when I look at it. The authors teach the skills in more depth in the videos that you can find with the QR codes. The value is not ordinary. If I choose, I can use the magnifying lens to start a fire. The guide went into my wallet and replaced the $10 I spent for it.
