The bottle dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D.

Brand: The Survival Tabs

👤I ordered 2 containers. I received a 15 day supply container and 5 bags of tabs. If my math is correct, I was shorted by 60 tabs.

👤I used a large package of these for a couple of weeks to fast. They work to take the edge off your hunger. There is a If you've ever tasted powdered coffee creamer, it's somewhat similar to the strawberry-cream taste, but better tasting. Twelve of the tablets have 100% of the USRDA of vitamins and minerals. If you only eat 12 of these, you're still getting vitamins and minerals, which is good for you. I haven't tried the other flavors yet, but if you like strawberries, coffee creamer and emergency ration, there's nothing wrong with them, except the price, which I'd like to see reduced.

👤I ordered two of them. I have to give a low rating because the seal on these containers are really substandard, and I want to love this product, but I have to give it a low rating. The bottles I ordered had broken seals. This was not caused by shipping because the box and contents are damage free. The big problem with the seal method is that the bottles are sealed with a round piece over the mouth of the container. The pop on/off top is covered in plastic. I opened the lid after cutting the plastic wrap off the top, but the inner seal was gone. The reason I bought them in the first place was because they would be a great product and this issue negates the 25 year shelf life. This kind of seal is not up to par. I returned both. I would like to point out that this manufacturer makes mylar bagging tablets in smaller quantities and higher per day price than these bottles. If you're like me, where the 25 year shelf life is essential for buying the product, then these containers are not enough to see this product live up to its claim. The plastic seal around the lid is not proof of proper seal of the contents. If they fix this issue, it could be a great product that I would buy several of because they are compact and unlike freeze dried food packs, they don't require water, which is fantastic.

👤I've been buying them for a while. If you have an electric stove, you can cook if the electric goes out. If the electric goes out during a storm and it takes a few weeks to get it back, everything in your fridge or freezer might go bad. If you have these, you will not be left starving. When you don't feel like eating, these will keep you going with the vitamins you need. These are good for hiking and camping when you can't take a lot of food. It's always a good idea to have them on hand in real emergencies. You can take these with you if you get flooded. These will still be good even if your items at home get ruined. They have the flavor. The flavor is not very strong. In times of need, you will be happy to have them. I've never had a bottle in 25 years. I have had them for a decade. They are a blessing. I would recommend them to anyone who is trying to prepare for survival. My adult son and I have relied on them for up to a month at a time when times were bad.

2. Augason Farms 2 Week 1 Person Emergency

Augason Farms 2 Week 1 Person Emergency

Excellent gift for your friends, kids or anyone in your life. There are survival tips inside for you and your family. 25,600 total calories per day. It's easy to prepare. Just add some water. A 25 year shelf life is possible.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤I feel like what you get is over priced. I have vacuumed more than this contains for a quarter of the price. Don't be lazy. There is not a lot of food in this box.

👤Quite disappointed. Fettuccine and milk sub were good. I could not stomach anything else. It was bad tasting food for most of the time. Everything is compromised of pasta and soup. Extreme rip-off! The company is taking advantage of people. Go clear. Don't buy! You can get a bunch of pasta and soup at Walmart. You can get the same thing at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. There is a I would slap the taste out of their mouths if they were in front of me. Thank you.

👤The survival kit has a good value. I can't review the food because I never plan on eating anything unless I have to. The mile, bananas, and everything else will all be gone in 25 years. I don't need milk or bananas to survive, so why not replace them with something that will last 25 years? One of my pouches had a small gash. I shook the bag and found a small amount of powder. Most of this stuff requires water to be boiled. In a survival situation, you can just add water and shovel it down. All the food and the pouches would need at least 6.5 gallons of water. That's a lot of water. I live in Minnesota, so if a tornado or snow hit, I'd have to eat emergency food. I keep the food in my storage room in the basement with no windows, in either case. I can mix the food with the water from my water heating system in case of an emergency.

👤If you were thinking that this bucket contains ready-to- eat food for two weeks, it doesn't. It requires a large cooking vessel, a heat source for cooking, and a good amount of water. You will need the following to use this kit as directed. A heat source that can cook the good for hours. A large cooking pot with six gallons of water for cooking the food in this kit. It's on me for not reading through the description and product photos more before ordering, but I'd like to point something out in case you also didn't. It's not obvious in the description that it's not easy to split packets into smaller, individual portions because some of the ingredients are clumped together until you cook them. Even though it's marketed for a single person, you'd end up making meals that include eight serving of soup or rice. My biggest issue with the family-sized packets is that they don't need to be refrigerated, but there will be a lot of leftover food, so you'd want to keep it cold. I live in southern Arizona where it's not cold enough to keep food out of the environment, so I'd either need a working refrigerator or just eat a packet of food a day. Milk and banana chips can be split into individual portions, and they don't require cooking. I've made a soup and eaten some chips. The soup will fill you up and keep you alive, but it isn't very good and doesn't have any chicken flavor. It tastes so bland because it already has a bit of salt in it. The smell was great, but the taste wasn't right. I would be happy to have it in an emergency. Assuming that I had enough fuel to boil nearly three quarts of water and then cook it for 25 minutes, and that I could safely store all of the leftovers. The banana chips are pretty good. I will never be able to verify the claim of a 25-year storage life for this bucket of food. I'm not going to be digging this out of the pantry for another round of chicken soup if I'm still alive at that point. I probably won't be updating my review if I need it sooner. The vegetable soup was a good indicator and I would say that the food is filling if not particularly good. I was hoping this would be tailored for me with smaller serving sizes given the product name, because I don't like the large packet sizes. I'm glad that I could try it, but I won't be stocking up on it.

3. Augason Farms Breakfast Emergency Supply

Augason Farms Breakfast Emergency Supply

It has an average of 1250 calories per meal. 20,360 calories There are 6 breakfast varieties. A 20 year shelf life is possible.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤This is the second time I have ordered this bucket. I opened the bucket and looked at the contents. One of the bags of Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal was pierced with a tiny hole and was no longer oxygen-free. I am dumping this bag into the trash and replacing it with a couple of Mountain House pouches of granola because I can't tell if it was due to poor handling at the factory or actual product tampering. It will cost an extra $12. Did you check the contents of your food buckets?

👤It was perfect. I wish it wasn't a box in a box. It looks like it has been opened. Handel is in good condition and I am confident that the inside is closed. I am waiting on the lunch and dinner bucket for my first breakfast. A 24lb bucket of pinto beans, 24lb of rice, 10 cans of black bean burgers, and 10 cans of bell peppers are all in a pantry full of shelf stable things. I add things to a wish list and wait for a sale to buy them. I have never been able to get any of these at full price. I have slowly been getting one or two things at a time after Covid showed me how unprepared my family is. There is a bucket of emergency food. We will be cycling through 4 months of food. There are a few months worth of shelf life items. Within a month or two, I will have 6 months worth. I have been buying more food and have been eating less to fit it. The monthly food budget is what makes my purchases come out of it.

👤The dates on the packaging don't match the promised time, so they might have been sitting in a warehouse for a while. I opened it to make sure there was no puncture and there was still a decent amount of white powder in the pail. Couldn't locate the origin. I would recommend packing some zip baggies with it because some of the multiple serving pouches can't be sealed again. I have no idea how long it was in the warehouse. I got it on sale.

👤I believe that Augason Farms Breakfast Pail is an excellent emergency prep food to keep on hand in case of an emergency in your area. Depending on how much you want to eat, there is enough in one bucket to keep a single adult for 2 weeks to a month. The packages are in mylar. You need a bucket opener to open the buckets. They can be stacked one on top of the other for storage. The meals are enjoyable. I have learned that Augason Farms makes the best tasting products for shelf-staple meals that I have been able to find thus far. They have Morning Moos milk alternative powder in both flavors. When you make them according to the directions, they taste just as good as they look.

👤Imagine for a second that you are going on a camping trip with three children. Imagine that you have to choose between making a breakfast menu and a lunch menu, and then assembling 50 pounds of fresh breakfast and dinner foods. How do you keep the milk cold? How do you store and carry it? One of these little pails and another little pail containing the Auguson Farms lunch/dinner foods menu can be carried with you. Four of you, a grandmother or two, and a breakfast pail seem to be enough.

4. IRPRUS Military Russian Kilogramm Emergency

IRPRUS Military Russian Kilogramm Emergency

Mountain Valley Seed Company is a US based company. Their customer service and workforce are based in the US, along with their heirloom vegetable seeds being sustainable. Everyone should experience the joy of growing.

Brand: Individual Ration Pack (irp)

👤I was hesitant because of the negative reviews, but I should point out that every vendor has these types of reviews. Some people don't understand what they're buying. The MRE arrived in perfect condition. There were no leaks or damage. People are confused by the dates on items. It's not expired if it's on a 2017 date. Before leaving negative reviews, those who claim items are expired should research what they are buying. Most of the reviews on this store are completely unfair and it depends on the store's reputation. I will definitely purchase from here in the future. A personal letter that I received with my purchase made me feel confident.

👤After watching Crazy Russian Hacker eat meat spreads, canned beef and tubes of Condensed Milk, everyone wants a Russian MRE. I think we all do. I ordered a Russian MRE for the kids. It was great to ship from Exclusive Bay. There were no problems. The MRE is in its plastic pouch after we opened the box. Wow! Just like on TV! We opened the pouch and the box and found nothing. The contents list is in the photo. The canned meals that were missing were marked with an "X." crackers, cheese spread, jams, chocolates, fruit bars, and a lot of sugar were there. They were all present. No meals! Imagine a Russian soldier getting a package in the field. Russians are a tough bunch. I think he could. The crackers are heavy, but good. Excellent cheese spread. There were two different types of apple jams. The chocolate spread was thick and good. We did not get canned beef or beef with grits. We were looking forward to it. The seller reached out about the missed meals. A new MRE is on it's way. Will give more info after it's received.

👤I've ordered several European MREs in the past and I never had a problem with them. I opened this one this morning and it smelled like rotting flesh and fecal matter. The entire lower floor of the house was filled with the smell of rotting meat, and I realized the bag should not have been bloated like it was, it held a tight seal, but it was like opening up death warmed over. The mess that I saw when I looked inside was so bad that I couldn't get out to the trash. The special atmosphere is still present in my home. BUYER, be careful.

👤The item was very light when it arrived. The ration was removed from the shipping box. Someone took a utility knife to the bottom of the ration and removed all of the main dishes. Pack of crackers, cheese and pate were left. Not going to bother with a replacement. ReFUND!

👤We were excited to try out an Russian MRE but we had trouble finding one that was worth the money. This ine was one of the others that was a one-ration meal. This was worth it to me. We would recommend this to anyone. They're a great company and the note that came with the bag was very thoughtful. We got the same thing as the image show, only one packet had a tear in it and some of the sugar was loose in the bag. It was a good choice. It was fun to figure out what each item was. Highly recommended.

5. LaunchPro Emergency Rations Calorie OnePack

LaunchPro Emergency Rations Calorie OnePack

Emergency ration food bar. A pack of emergency food has a pre-measured 400 calories and a 5 year shelf life. The US Coast Guard has standards. The requirement is SOLAS 74/83. There is no thievery provoking. The temperature can be as low as -40 F to 300F. There is noCholesterol or Tropical Oils. No peanut butter or peanut oil.

Brand: Lp Launchpro

👤The package arrived on time, well packaged, and with 4 years and 3 months left of the 5-year expiration. Will save for an emergency.

👤It is easy to store. It's a great way to make sure you have some calories.

👤It's not a Tbone, but it's pretty good with a cup of coffee I bought 5 years ago, and it's about out of date. I like them so I'm ordering a few more to keep my emergency food stocked.

👤It was in good condition when it arrived. The production date was in September. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm pleased with the way they're going.

👤Just in case, it's great to have it on your shelf.

6. LifeStraw Personal Camping Emergency Preparedness

LifeStraw Personal Camping Emergency Preparedness

Excellent for removing grease, oil stains, tar and label. The microfiltration is able to remove 99% of waterbornebacteria and 99% of waterborne parasites. Removes microplastics and reduces the amount of water in the environment. All claims are verified with laboratories using standard testing protocols. 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons) of clean and safe drinking water will be provided by the microbiological filter. Every LifeStraw product purchased, a school child in need will receive safe drinking water for the entire school year. There are materials that are free of BPA.

Brand: Lifestraw

👤You should get a Sawyer-Mini. I have used both on camping trips. You need steel jaws to suck water. If you use a Sawyer or other filters with pump/squeeze action, you won't have to rip out your filling. You have to lie on the ground, and other filters have a straw if the pouch breaks. You need to watch actual videos of people who use these frequently before voting down this post. Everyone uses a pump or squeeze method of filtration. Lifestraws are a great idea, but it is hard to use.

👤I am sorry to have the first one be so negative but the life straw was a total and utter disappointment. I bought it for my daughter to go to Mexico with strict instructions to not drink anything without the life straw. Had she followed my instructions she would have died of dehydration. We followed the instructions from the video to soak it, but we couldn't get any water to come through it. It was too late to return to Amazon and I did not receive a reply when I contacted Life Straw. Too bad. I was going to have one for each family member to have in an emergency pack. I will not do that after this experience.

👤This thing is serious. I went backpacking on Maine's Bigelow range. I ran out of water when I brought it. Bring a wide mouth bottle and fill it with water. I drank from the most disgusting looking hole on top of a lower peak. I thought it would be safe, but it wasn't. Wrong. It tasted like fresh spring water. Better than a tap. I'm from Maine, and I've tasted plenty of water from the mountain springs. It can be difficult to start. You have to prove it by soaking. Blow into it if it still doesn't work. Everyone should have a bug-out bag in case of a civil war, because the world seems to have gone mad.

👤If you don't clear the water after each use, the water will seize up. I didn't run a gallon through either of the break I had.

👤I dropped it from my mouth to the countertop and it stopped working, which is ridiculous. There was no impact at all. It is dangerous to have a water source out in the woods if it can't take an impact. This bad review is solely about that fact.

👤I've used these in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Works as advertised. The system is safe to use. When we deploy, we use it as a standard procedure to have one in everyone's room. It's called Semper Fi.

👤I drank from a steam. I have become a hippie. I'm in a transformation.

👤We got what we ordered. I've used this product before in Afghanistan, and I'm happy with it.

👤The price was right, so I wanted to get one for a while. The water out of the Lake of Two Mountains tasted good and did not have any ill effects.

7. Ready America 70280 Emergency 2 Person

Ready America 70280 Emergency 2 Person

The two ways to charge are by solar and microusb. You should have an emergency kit for disasters. Emergency survival kits from Ready America. People for 3 days. The American Red Cross has a list of essential emergency supplies. The First Aid kit comes with first aid essentials for minor injuries. Take care of medical emergencies with easy-to-use supplies. It's great for a car emergency kit or boat accessories. You need food, water, and emergency blankets. 2 food bars have 2200 calories. Water Pouches have a 5-year shelf life. Two safety light sticks in case of an emergency. This emergency bag has two safety light sticks. There is a survival gear for hunting, boating, workplace, camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, travel, home. Two safety light sticks in case of an emergency. This emergency bag has two safety light sticks. There is a survival gear for hunting, boating, workplace, camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, travel, home.

Brand: Ready America

👤The food in the bag has a 5 year shelf life. July of 2020 is when the water expires. If the food and water were to last for 5 years, this bag would not work in the car. I was not happy with the contents.

👤I bought this in 2012 and it has expired. The items are easy to replace. Everything can be purchased separately at your local retail store for a lower price. If you don't have anything, this is a great starting point. The basics are taken care of. The pack has some of the most basic supplies that an average person would need. This isn't a one-time purchase, so you have to forget it. If you have special medical needs, child needs, pet needs, etc, you need to gut the backpack, get a decent backpack, and put these items in along with your other personal items. Some items that could be added to this would be tools, knives, medications, clothes, water filter, radio, phone charger, and so on. There are a lot of videos and articles on surviving a catastrophic event online. Pick your most comfortable level of readiness because some are more extreme than others. Again, this kit should be the base of a larger set of gear that should be portable and easy to grab and go for a few days when the stuff really hits the fan. My wife's car trunk has held this backpack for the past few years. I took it out to replace some items and it broke when I pulled on the zippers. The backpack isn't meant to last very long. I exercise, but the way these snapped off made me feel like I had to check my drink for steroids.

👤The masks in these packs are dust masks.

👤I buy a backpack for my cars, work, and home every 5 years. I am very disappointed that this supply kit has first aid kits with an expired date. I tried to contact the company to get a replacement first aid kit, but I am not getting any help. I will not purchase from this company again.

👤I ordered this for my family to keep in the truck. Not bad for the price, but overpriced. There were 3 leaking boxes of water and 2 open food ration bags when the water was delivered. The bottom of the box fell out when it was delivered. The bag was wet because of the water. You would probably be better off building your own bag for your family. I would recommend military surplus stores.

👤When the power went out during the April snow storm, my wife was worried about being prepared. It will be nice to have an emergency pack loaded and ready to go, since we live and use a lot of the items in the bag, but we don't always have enough groceries in the house to last us a long time. This pack is basic and probably not bad, mostly because it's fairly expensive and likely the hood of it will be used in my case. I'm not out much. We had to make the bag more useful in an emergency after I went through all of the items. I would consider economy items in the included items. It will suit the need when you have nothing else. The construction of the bag seems to be of 'O.K.' and it doesn't look like it's going to fall in a closet. The bag is small and not as big as a normal school bag. Additional ponchos, pocket knife, hand sanitizer, more basic first aid items, hand warmers, flash lights, and two way radios were added.

8. Survival Tabs Replacement Activities Preparedness

Survival Tabs Replacement Activities Preparedness

Their survival kits are suitable for birthday gifts or Christmas presents for dads, boyfriends, or children. They want you to love your purchase. They will give you a replacement or full refund if you are not satisfied. The 'Just in Case' Food Supply, The Survival Tabs, and the Bugout Food are backup for situations such as natural disasters. This is the best food in the smallest amount. When facing uncertainty, the body needs all the daily essential vitamins and minerals. The design is small and easy to store. The Bugout food contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals. It is made with the highest quality meat. GLUTEN free and non-GMO. This calculation is based on one average person. Consumption requirements can be different from person to person. The flavor is mixed. There are 4 x 180 tablets. 20 calories per tab for 12 chewable tablets. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D. The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D.

Brand: The Survival Tabs

👤How many tabs do you have? More like 180 and won't answer my messages.

👤I received one of the containers. For one container, it's $150. Hope you correct the mistake.

👤The description says there are 4 bottles. I received 3 bottles and 540 tabs. I was going to buy more if I liked these, because it's a simple way to prepare for emergencies and it has a long shelf life, but I was shorted an entire bottle.

👤This will be a great back up for any emergency. Natural disasters, stranded somewhere, or anything else can happen in this day and age. I laughed at a reviewer who was complaining about the daily calories. Something is better than nothing in an emergency. It's not a gourmet meal, but it's a great back-up for either nothing or filling in on limited food choices you may have in your pantry, as well as being a great way to meet your daily calories intake. In an emergency, you will have to use what you have on hand, and this is just another reassurance you can have somewhere in your home, or even take while camping for weeks on end in the middle of no where! This is a great addition to anyone who cares about preparing for an emergency, or just doesn't want to be taken by surprise in the event of an emergency. The Red Cross believes in a few days of preparation. Does it matter how it tastes if you are desperate?

👤Not bad. I tried a few. I can't say the flavor is exactly as described, but I can see how they'll help you feel like you've eaten something, even if you don't have vitamins or minerals.

👤I bought these for a worst case scenario to have the key minerals and ingredients. For 15 days, each container has 100 percent of your key nutrients. It's definitely expensive but it's cheaper than freeze dried food as I have quite a few of these and ramen for pure empty calories. I think they taste really good. It's a key component to any survivalist.

👤If this keeps 25 years, I think you'd need more than that to survive, but it works for me. They tasted really good when I tried them. You would need about 3 times the ration per day. They don't take a lot of space. I'll buy a few.

👤I only received a 30 day supply of survival tabs after ordering a 60 day supply. I paid 158 dollars for a 60 day supply.

👤Good product. It took a long time to get here. Canada customs is to blame for that.

9. Datrex 3600 Emergency Food CASE

Datrex 3600 Emergency Food CASE

Non-GMO project verification: PROBAR products are non-GMO. There are three packages of 18 bars with 200 calories per bar. It is packaged in a way that makes it easy to ration and store in your survival and disaster kit. The coconut flavor is superior and all natural. The small and lightweight is USCG approved and has a 5 year shelf life. A high energy value and ready to eat. A high energy value and ready to eat.

Brand: Datrex

👤Datrex bars are very dense and delicious for a food of this class. This is a survival food that is low in vitamins and minerals but high in fat and sugar calories to keep you alert and keep you going. You can be amazed that this is three days of survival ration, if you have one of these 3600 calories. For educational value, you should get 3600 calories from other survival foods. If you have wheat allergies, these are not the right choice. The product was shipped the same month as it was manufactured, so it could not have been newer. The vacuum in the three packages was lost. The Mylar foil packaging is very stiff and thinner than it used to be, so it leaked from the corners where they contacted each other or impacted inside of the box because they were packed loose. Each package must be wrapped individually in bubble wrap or foam mat to protect the corners and stop shifting because the hard vacuum makes the package vulnerable to impact and the film shatters like glass. I have been working for a packaging equipment manufacturer for 20 years and we specialize in modified atmosphere packaging. These packages are vacuumed, nitrogen purged, and then vacuumed again to protect against oxidation, peroxide formation, and rancidity of the fats. The bars in the past may have been packed in nylon/EVOH which is a physically strong package, but does not have as good of an oxygen/moisture barrier as this much more expensive foil film. Datrex is not cheap on their packaging, but they are cheap because they use a thinner material than is necessary to survive in a get home bag, vehicle or boat. If you don't place these on a shelf, it's a good idea to put them in a second skin. The nitrogen barrier will oxidize in a few months after the package is punctured.

👤2 of the 3 were not sealed. I thought it might have happened during shipping. I tried eating one of the unvacum sealed ones and it was terrible. I have kept one of these for nearly five years and they were still completely vacuum sealed and delicious. I like how they taste. My girlfriend and I are eating the entire box of snacks. The newer ones I ordered were in all white packaging, the ones I had from a few years back were in all blue. I don't know if it makes a difference in the way they taste or the company that packages them. I thought I would let you know.

👤The package would have been a good value, but the product inside would not have lasted long because it wasn't vacuum sealed. The two packages on the right were not sealed. Even though it didn't work out, I gave it 2 stars because of the free shipping and good price.

👤I keep a few of these in our cars, cabin and home. I replaced them because they were approaching an expired date and then I decided to eat the ones that were still valid. I was surprised by the taste and texture. They have a cookie texture that reminded me of a denser pecan sandy cookie. The taste was mild but nice and I have been snacking on it every now and then. I've tried other emergency bars, but these are a step above them. If you had to eat these, it wouldn't be bad. There's always room for improvement, so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Adding vitamins and minerals might be an improvement, as they don't have much nutrition other than calories.

10. Datrex Emergency Survival Disaster Preparedness

Datrex Emergency Survival Disaster Preparedness

There are 36 bars in the value pack with 200 calories per bar. It is packaged in a way that makes it easy to ration and store in your survival and disaster kit. The coconut flavor is superior and all natural. The small and lightweight is USCG approved and has a 5 year shelf life. A high energy value and ready to eat.

Brand: Datrex

👤I have put food bars in my emergency kit for a long time. They are a good product. The date is conservative as far as I can tell. I have eaten bars that I was planning on replacing and found that they tasted great. If you are eating emergency bars, the calories are more important than the vitamins. If you reach the expiration date, add a new package to your kit instead of throwing out the expired package. The bars can't be resealed. I keep a Zip-lock bag with the ration so that I can open the factory packaging and find them later. The food bars are wrapped in a thin plastic wrap that is not air tight, so they don't stick together. The material that the food bars are made out of has a compressed look to it, rather than being stuck together. The taste is similar to a bar with a nutty flavor. The bars are going to go bad if it gets punched from bouncing around in emergency kit, that's the weak point of the packaging. I use my FoodSaver to vacuum pack the factory package of bars. This protects against a hole being punched in the package.

👤Good price. It's not bad. Bland is more realistic when it comes to sugar content than another brand. They claim three days per bar. Depending on your activity level. Laying in a life raft, the instructions say to eat one every 6 hours, which would stretch them to 4 1/2 days, but they suggest one every 4 hours which makes the 3 days they claim. If you need to be active, you should plan for each pack to be good for 2 days. A bit heavy. You don't need extra water or a fire. Nothing to distract you. These are a major part of my disaster plan.

👤These are for embryology. These are easy to store and perfect for keeping in a bug out bag. Since you won't be using them except in an emergency, you won't care what it tastes like. I bought a pack of two and will be buying a further 3-6, they are not too expensive for what you get out of them, and if you get lost, you can't put a price on survival. I wouldn't recommend it as they are high in fat (9 grams per bar) and once the outer glazed aluminum foil wrap is broken your shelf life is no more. If you haven't bought these before they are quite small, they are compressed and made to be eaten slowly and chewed well. I will keep this up if there is a change, be smart and stay safe!

👤I have returned it three times because the vacuum seal failed on at least two of the four packages. I bought this product a long time ago for a disaster preparedness kit and am only replacing it now because it has expired. The old packages were sealed perfectly. Quality control is thought to have gone downhill.

Brand: Mayday

👤They are bags of water. If you're using these, they're to keep you alive, not comfortable, because they don't hold much water. If you're sweating or in a very dry climate, you should increase the number of pouches you take. The water tastes good. Five-year shelf life is what they say. I think they will last much longer than that as nothing will break down. The rubbery plastic inner liner is strong and can make tearing it open a challenge, but the pouches are pretty durable. The pouches have room to spare, so they shouldn't burst. If you're storing these water pouches yourself, remember that ice expands just under 10%. If you think the water might freeze, leave one pouch worth of volume free. They will most likely break their seams when it's cold. I put the.50 cal can in my freezer while I was experimenting with ways to store the water for survival kits. You can store ten pouches sandwich-style or eleven pouches stacked. If the can will be exposed to freezing temperatures for more than a night, they will almost certainly blow up, but you can fit twelve pouches stacked in their liquid form and still have room for the lid to close. If you live in a high desert, you should be okay if you only experience overnight freezes. The box was the best value on Amazon and I went for it. I wish the crimped edges of the pouches were a bit smaller, they are almost half an inch wide, and it introduces more challenges to storage. I use them for survival kits in a disaster and for my car. If you're looking for a home emergency water supply, you should use large gallon containers.

👤The box arrived in perfect shape and was verified that I got 100 packs. I divided them between the 4 emeregency back packs that I have for each member of my inmediate family. The order was placed in February 2020 and expires in January 2025. Good deal.

👤I am happy with the purchase. The pouches don't have a lot of room to tear it open. I didn't think there was a strange taste when I opened it. There is a 1/2 cup of water inside each pouch. Suggests that there be 4 pouches per person. The box has a lot of pouches. In case of an emergency, I'm happy!

👤I have used other survival water that was white with purple writing on it and it tasted like chemicals.

👤You don't have to keep those bottles of water in the car for an emergency. The product was fresh when it was one month old. There are some in the car for the kids to throw in the trunk. I don't know if I'll ever taste one, but under emergency circumstances who's going to work up if it's not pristine?

👤I was going to buy a replacement water for my bag from the original company. The prices for the water pouches were almost twice as much as shipping. I contacted them about the price difference and they said they would make sure their pouches were up to date. I went with the Amazon pouches because I couldn't justify the price of theirs. The expired date started in November of 2019. I was okay with that if it wasn't close to a year or more for the price. The pouches are very strong.
