1. ReadyWise Emergency Freeze Dried Survival Food Gluten Free

ReadyWise Emergency Freeze Dried Survival Food Gluten Free

The essential surgical kit. There are 5 different food options in each bucket. It is easy to prepare an entree using just water. There is a long-lasting storage. Food pouches keep food fresh for up to 25 years. There are 5 unique ready-to- eat freeze-dried, gluten-free entrées in the vegetarian packs. They have shelf-stable food for hiking and camping.

Brand: Readywise

👤I looked at the individual description labels on the back of the bucket and found wheat and soy. The first ingredient is wheat. The code for the bucket bar says it's free of wheat. I paid more money for this product. The time has expired for me to get my money back. I trusted this company to not sell fraudulent goods, but they have deceived people who need to eat wheat. This product can cause death if people have a sensitivity to thegluten.

👤It is not recommended for anything other than emergency use. Food items could not have been selected by anyone with a food allergy, but in an actual emergency, it's better than no food at all.

👤My husband is a prepper. Every family member has a bag that is designated for bug-out. We've tried many of these types of dry packed foods, so when we saw the chance to try this bucket at a discount, we agreed. I did not get this bucket for free and we prepared one of every meal to give a fair and honest review. There are 3 Teriyaki and Rice packs, 3 Chicken Pot Pie packs, 4 Loaded Baked Potato packs, and 7 Yogurt Flavored Desert Mix packs. There are 17 packs, with only 10 being actual meals. I couldn't rate this at 5 stars because of this. I assumed from reading the description that they would be individual meals or at least meals designed for 2 people. Each packet contains 4 calories. This works out for my husband and sons, but not for a single person. They would have to split the packets or make all of them and try to save some for later. I would split the packets, but you have to worry about the stuff spilling or mis-measuring. Not good. The food is pretty good. I'm not expecting a 5 star restaurant quality flavor in my meal, I'm speaking from experience of eating many similarly packed meals. We had my sister-in-law over for dinner and she made a lot of food, so we had another taste tester in the house. The individual reviews are listed below. The soup has tomato Basil. The bucket is the house favorite. My husband had a few small bowls. I don't think we mixed it well enough, there were little clumps of powder in it while we were eating. It was still the favorite in my home. When we go hiking in the cold months, we had a discussion about mixing it into thermoses. I would boil it longer, and use a whisk instead of mixing it with a soup spoon, because that would be the only thing that would be different. 2. Potato casserole. My favorite. My husband and my sister-in-law both rated this as their number two. I can't tell if it's bacon or ham, but it's delicious. It tastes like potato soup. You need a bowl and a spoon for soup, not a casserole. I might boil it a little longer next time, the ham/ bacon chunks were a little hard, but still tasty. If I'm going to make this while camping or something. I would add some shredded cheese to it. Maybe some green onions. 3. The chicken pot pie is made with chicken. The one that had mixed reviews was this one. I thought it was okay, husband didn't care for it, and sister-in-law couldn't eat it. My sister-in-law couldn't handle the texture, but we all agreed that it needed salt and pepper. It was very sticky. This was my toddler's favorite, but he doesn't talk, so I can't tell you why he loved it, just that it disappeared from his plate faster than any other entree choice. I can tell you that it had a very strong flavor, and that may be why I liked it more than everyone else. 4. Both Teriyaki and Rice are made with teriyaki sauce. Yuck. They can't all be perfect. I felt like I was eating ginger when I chewed it. I was unable to finish mine. My sister-in-law admitted that she ate too much ginger. My husband added a healthy dose of soy sauce, which toned down the ginger, but not enough for me to eat anymore. He said he almost liked the soy sauce more than the potato casserole. It isn't all bad, so plan to doctor it a bit. My toddler ate a good chunk of his portion, so he didn't dislike it. 5. There is yogurt. This was unexpected. We thought it would be thick and creamy, but it was very thin. Thinner than the soup. I used cold tap water to mix it with, but I think it would be better served in the cold. We might put it in the fridge next time. I'm not sure. The yogurt was divided into 3 mugs. It was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches deep per mug. We all agreed that it smelled amazing, like a cake batter or ice cream. The flavor was a bit less intense and the aftertaste was a bit too strong. It's not a terrible desert type. It's calories you can get through a straw. It could be worse. The bucket was pretty good, but I'm not sure which one was supposed to be the breakfast. We have plenty of meals to keep in our shelter, and we might use some of them for camping or hiking trips. We have time to eat them because they are good for 25 years.

2. Ultimate Survival Technologies Emergency Rations

Ultimate Survival Technologies Emergency Rations

Also, note: When the oxygen has been removed, bags may not shrink like vacuum bags. Absorbers only absorb 21% of the air, which is oxygen. The air volume will be gone about 1/3 of the time. The apple-cinnamon flavor is pleasant. It is easy to store an optimal balance of cholesterol and vitamins. Each bar can be eaten in six portions with a total of 2400 calories.

Brand: Ultimate Survival Technologies

👤You should ignore anyone who reviews this on the basis of how it tastes. This is not a camping or hiking snack. When you find yourself trapped in the wilderness or in your own home after a disaster, survival ration tastes bland or bad to discourage excessive eating. These taste ok. It was kind of a cinnamon shortbread. For its intended use, texture and quality are fine. I have received 6 of these packages so far and all of them have been sealed perfectly. I put a second layer of vacuum plastic over my survival food to protect it from accidental puncturing and to extend its lifespan. If you get any that have a vacuum loss, just eat it or throw it away. Poor handling in transit or a minor factory defect are the reasons why they're not worth a 1 star review. The calories come out to $.001 per calories. I've been searching for and buying long term storage emergency ration for over a decade and never have I found a better price in the market. Put these in a box in the back of a closet and then buy a bunch of canned and dry foods for your "shtf" meals. These calories are not a meal replacement. To make sure you're getting something resembling real sustenance, keep a bottle of multi vitamins, a few gallons of water, and a couple pounds of freeze dried potatoes or rice nearby. I'm up to 15. I haven't had a single issue with them losing vacuum. Don't let bad luck deter you from purchasing these. If you keep buying these low cost alternatives, the price gougers will start lowering their prices.

👤It appears to be a single pack.

👤The product is not accurate. One pack is not 4 days of food, but one day of food. This product has a shelf life of 5 years and will last 2 years. I am angry with the seller for misrepresenting the product. I would love to have my money back. I could shop locally and find a better deal.

👤We thought we were getting a box of four, not one bar. The image showed four. Since that time, it has changed. The price for 4 seems reasonable. The cost for one is out of line. The product was useless because of the broken vacuum seal. The bars are good for emergency food. We've bought them from local retailers before. The experience of this seller was not great.

👤I ordered 8 boxes and got 8 bars that were not a good value and the bars were good but not at this price.

👤The vacuum seal wasn't intact. The company uses an illustration that shows 4 packages. Caveat emptor is not for purchase.

👤Any type of emergency food is very expensive. These single packs are also selling other places for $20+ each. Also. For $5, you get 2400 calories and a 5 year shelf life, which is a good deal for something that you can just open and eat. You can get these from Wal-mart for five cents cheaper than Amazon will charge, but you have to order four of them. It's a very dense bread type bar. More powdery than bread, like gingerbread. It tastes like a sweet dessert with a hint of cinnamon. It's not something I'd go out of my way to snack on, but it tastes good and is similar to a dense bar. It doesn't taste bad like other emergency ration bars that taste like chemicals or gross. There are some that are my favorite for taste and price. It's worth $5 to have a car glove box and all your backpacks. Just in case. If you break it into the six 400 calories sections, you'll get one of these.

3. Augason Farms Dehydrated Apple Slices

Augason Farms Dehydrated Apple Slices

A 25 year shelf life is possible. 60 calories per serving The container weight is 12 ounces. No peeling or slicing. You can get a healthy snack out of the package. Add to salads, desserts, and cereals.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤I bought these dehydrated apple slices for the situation we are in. I bought one can in June 2020 and the other in July 2020. I tried to purchase emergency food from Augason Farms in March/April 2020 and the prices were crazy. The apples were delicious and the consistency was great. The only complaint is that the apples are sliced whole. We don't know what's happening one month to the next, so having these cans of emergency food gives us a piece of mind. I have left positive reviews for Augason Farms potato shred, dehydrated strawberries, and banana chips. Stay healthy and be safe!

👤I love these! It's a good thing. I almost ate my way through the second 3-pound can of freeze-dried apples, but it has not been long enough for me to admit this. I add apples to all kinds of food, including baking, and I use them in oatmeal almost every morning. I also snack on them. They are good. If you want perfect slices, these are not that. There are some perfect slices, but there are a lot of not perfect ones. They range from a small square to a full-sized slice. You can make a wonderful pie with these, apple cake, or strudel. You understand the idea. I'll be buying two cans.

👤I make a lot of dried apple slices. I've bought many varieties. I didn't know there was something bad. The flavor is off-putting. It could be the high concentration of the salt in the apples. Do not buy if you like the taste of it.

👤I didn't get a can of apple slices, but I did get apple crumbs, like when you need a soda to eat and Louy is hard to eat. Never again, waste of money.

👤A full spectrum diet is put up just in case. I don't want my kids to look at me and say "Dad, why weren't you prepared for US, what are we going to do for food to survive?" As much money as we throw away, comes on. This is an insurance policy. You should put up plenty just in case, but you hope to not need it.

👤I had to make my own dehydrated apples and it took me a long time. The cost and quantity of the product was more affordable than the freeze dried apples I buy on Amazon. The top half of the contents are usually intact slices, while the bottom half are small chips and crumbs. These apples, not so much, are off the hook.

👤The quantity is great but the flavor is terrible. I expected a sweeter taste from these. It tasted like freeze dried bananas. It tastes like a mix of apples and bananas, but is heavy on the banana taste. You get a lot for your money, but they don't taste great. The brand has better tasting freeze dried strawberries and berries. You will not regret it if you go with those for your oatmeal. My family finishes a tub in a week.

4. Augason Farms 72 Hour 1 Person Emergency

Augason Farms 72 Hour 1 Person Emergency

A 20 year shelf life is possible. 2, 667 calories per day. It is easy to prepare. Just add some water. The shelf life is up to 25 years. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤Oh my gosh, so much complaining and whining. 1. If preparing for one person, divide the pouch into portions and only prepare 1 portion at a time. 2. Seal in a baggie or jar by rolling the opened top over. Unreconstituted leftovers are not bad in 3 days. 3. The dishes should be beefed up. Add canned chicken, dried vegetables, noodles, instant rice, lentils, or something similar. 4. Why am I looking at this product? Is it for survival or preparation? Is it for disasters? Thousands of books tell you how to get water, store water, and filter water. Food storage is discussed in the same books. The Forstchen book is a good starting point. 5. If you want to survive bad situations, you need to depend on yourself. Reality doesn't care about who you are. You will probably need to save yourself. Ask people who survived Sandy. 6. Today is a great day to start preparing for an uncertain future. Go to the grocery store and buy a box of rice, a jar of chicken bullion cubes, 3 cans of beans, and 2 cans of meat that you will eat. You can eat soup or casseroles for several days for under $10 now. The rest is on you, so remember. Prepare for the future.

👤The money has an outstanding value. The shelf life is 25 years. If you're in the market for long term food, you found the brand. Remember that in a "hunker down" situation, you're not likely to be in a hurry, so just take your time cooking it. My wife was pleasantly surprised by how decent these were. It would be enjoyable to eat this stuff and not die of starvation. Result, compared to normal food, was not bad at all. Result, considering that this stuff has been completely freeze dried and will last into my retirement.

👤Each entree or product is worth 72 hours for one individual but in a single package, so there are no complaints about this. If you want to use this for 9 meals, you need to open each entree and repackage it into three portions or cook it once and save the leftovers. I was hoping it would be packaged in a way that was convenient.

👤A pack of bananas. One pack of oatmeal says brown sugar, but it doesn't taste like it. The other three packs are just soup. The potato soup tastes good, but you want to add vegetables and meat. White soup is what it is. You have to make a huge pot of soup and store it. The humidity can get to open packs. The other packs were not the same as the banana chips. I will not buy it again. I tried to portion out the chicken and rice for a bowl. I got violently ill after eating it.

👤It was deceptive labeling. It's four big packages. If you're by yourself, you'll need a working refrigerator to keep the leftovers in. If you're buying this for a one person scenario, it's not realistic. I have been through an earthquake and I can tell you that grocery stores and electricity won't be there.

5. Survival Tabs Supply Emergency Preparedness Butterscotch

Survival Tabs Supply Emergency Preparedness Butterscotch

The bottle weight is approximately 1.8 pound. The dimensions are 7.5 x W 5 x D.

Brand: The Survival Tabs

👤I use these for a quick and easy breakfast or lunch at work. 180 meals per 4-pack is the number of tablets per meal. The cost is about $1.30 per meal. It works well on days when I don't have time to go out for lunch.

👤It's a must have for any survivalist's bag.

👤After crossing the border, the supplier did not have fault. The box was not the fault of the supplier. The contents were in good shape. It was a pleasant surprise to get a refund for import charges. The calories per serving are low. Your body will absorb all of these tabs. When you eat, your body absorbs some minerals, vitamins, calories, and other things, but also passes a bunch of calories through your stool. It's like you're eating more than you actually are if that makes sense.

Brand: Clif Bar

👤I don't like to eat breakfast in the morning, but I need to have something with my medication. These bars are good and filling, so my medication doesn't upset my stomach.

👤Product was in perfect order and shape. The price is good. Lots of flavors the guys loved.

👤These are my favorites. I will have one for breakfast. I'm set for a long time. My favorite is the one with my favorite flavor of peanut butter. Excellent taste! I have to stop snacking on them.

👤The family went to Egypt. We had these for snacks during the two week trip, I bought a box of them. There were 8 different flavors. I don't get to try Clif or any other kind of bars so it was great to sample the different flavors. The peanut butter crunch was my favorite. I used them for long day hikes. Light. It is easy to carry. Provides the calories I need. They taste great.

👤Good price. I liked the variety in this pack. They seemed dryer than in the past. I'm not sure what happened there, it's about 6 months from now. Most likely will not buy again.

👤When you don't have a lot of time to eat, this is a great snack to have on hand. I use a banana when I travel. There are lots of flavors. Definitely worth a try.

👤If you like cookies and cookie dough, this is a brand for you.

👤I bought the variety pack to see which one I liked the most. Most are pretty good. There are some that are not so good. Someone else might like all of them. The variety pack allowed me to know which flavor I like the most.

👤Can't argue with the price.

7. Augason Farms Freeze Sliced Strawberries

Augason Farms Freeze Sliced Strawberries

Clif Bar provides wholesome, delicious energy that is all ready to go, whether you need sustained energy for hiking, climbing, skiing, or a long bike ride. It's perfect for food storage, emergencies, survival, and everyday use. As a snack, ready to eat! A 30 year shelf life is possible.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤The first shipment was a home run and the second was a swing and miss. I received my first can of frozen strawberries from Augason on January 7th and they were perfect. It was very tasty. I served them with whipped cream as a light dessert and used them to enhance cold cereals. In 5 weeks, the entire can was finished. I wanted to serve a bright red and white dessert for my guests at my dinner party. The second can was opened at 5pm on February 13th and found that the sliced strawberries were grayish brown and 70% were stuck together, not something to show to dinner guests.

👤I have bought strawberries in the past and was happy with my purchase. When I opened the can, it was obvious that I didn't get the amount stated. The large can wasn't full to the top, but it was pretty full. The strawberries covered the bottom of the can. I weighed it and it was 1.3 ounces. I am due a refund. The company is not trustworthy. If you are stocking your pantry in case of a catastrophe, I would suggest looking for a different company because you will not have the supplies you think you have.

👤This is my first review of this product, which I have been purchasing for over a year. Why? This latest shipment was disgusting. The strawberries were bright red and evenly sliced in the past, and every can was full. They tasted fresh and crisp. It was sweet and tangy. The can I received was marked March 2019. They didn't have a strawberry smell. I was hesitant to try one, but I did. It was not crisp or light as it should be. It was not good. It's just sour and no strawberry to speak of. I will return it for a full refund. What happened to Auguson? Quality is declining. I will be purchasing my strawberries locally from a reliable retailer that carries an in house brand.

👤My son is having a 16th Bday Party and I ordered this product for him. He wanted dried strawberries. I ordered this even though some people said the can was empty. Most people said they were full. Our can was not filled 1/3 of the time. We took the contents out of the can and weighed them. It had less than 4 ounces. Tomorrow is a party. Not enough time to find another brand.

👤We were excited to get this big can of strawberries, but were disappointed in the quality. You have to spit out at least one bad piece from every handful. There are nubs of stems at the top of strawberries where they did not properly suck the stem from the strawberry. The quality is not there. You can find superior freeze dried strawberries on Amazon for a few cents more per ounce. Unless you don't mind the unique flavor of freeze dried rotten fruit, look elsewhere.

👤These are great, and there is a big can of strawberries. I decided to get the big size to last me a little longer because there are a lot of strawberries. The can is the size of a large coffee can and will require a can opener. I did not have access to a can opener when I bought them. Had to open it with a knife.

8. Augason Farms Creamy Chicken Flavor

Augason Farms Creamy Chicken Flavor

Better health for your pet with improved appetite and digestion, relief from allergies, vibrant skin and coat, healthy teeth and gums, greater stamina and vitality, and a healthy immune system. You can only prepare what you need when you need it. The shelf life is up to 25 years.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤Half of my emergency food comes from Amazon. One can of rice in the order was fine, the other had large dents in it, which is problematic for 25 years in disaster planning. This happened on 6 orders. You have to decide if it's worth the trouble or if you have a local option.

👤It's worth the money to fix. My children gave it a thumbs up.

👤I got these when they were on sale. They're pretty good. I keep them in the pantry in case of a disaster.

👤Will throw any bird game you can at it. I got a prep shelf. Will order more.

👤I have a lot of Augason cans in my food cache. They are on the rack with an inventory sheet taped to it. I have an inventory of food for 35 years. Augason is the food I prepare for a long time.

👤It is not a 5 star restaurant dish and has a shelf life you can't compare if left sealed.

👤My wife tried it and loved it, it was very easy to make.

9. Augason Farms Dehydrated Spinach Flakes

Augason Farms Dehydrated Spinach Flakes

A 7 year shelf life is possible. All natural and certified to be free of bothGluten-Free and All Natural. It's perfect for food storage, emergencies, survival, and everyday use. A 25 year shelf life is possible.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤I love the dehydrated vegetables. They have a great taste. They are fresh when they are added to soups or just simmered in water. I add some fruit smoothie ingredients. I don't have to waste spinach if it goes bad before I can use it. I will buy it again.

👤I expected a small can. These are larger than "flakes" but they are very dry and can easily fall. Extra nutrition into pizza, spaghetti, pasta, and smoothie for a kid that doesn't like veggies other ways was what I needed.

👤I received my third order for the Spinach Flakes, and I love them. I used them in soups yesterday and it turned out great. I drained off the excess water after re-hydrating the spinach flakes. It didn't turn my soup green, but it was awesome. I love the other Augason products. When my grandsons are present, I don't have to worry about them having sugar rushes with the strawberries because they enjoy them.

👤I have 10 different cans of this brand. I have veggies on hand. I no longer have wasted and forgotten vegetables in my fridge. I feed my dogs small amounts of peas, banana chips, and apple chips when I use all 10 cans for people's food. The dogs are very fat and beware!

👤There is a good amount of product inside the can, but it was not opened. I shook the can and it didn't sound like there was too much space inside. I have the nutrition on hand that won't ruin, against the hard times. I invested while I could, just in case, because I wish I had stuff like this on hand when I needed it. There are many ways to use this product. Add to soups, make omelets, grind up fine and add to noodle dough for a nutrition boost, mix into meatloaf, add to cooking meats, add to smoothies, and so on. I'll be happy when I need this stuff.

👤This is a great way to keep the flavor of spinach in your kitchen. It can be added to salads or baked product.

👤Adding dried spinach to a meal is a great way to add nutrition. It's usefulness is up to you. Omelettes, soups, stew, salads are some of the obvious uses. It's best to drink water first. Salad use is an example. If the dish has a lot of liquid, add dried spinach.

👤I know it's freeze dried, but I was surprised how fresh it was when I opened it. I rehydrated slowly in a bowl of water and used it in my soups. I like having shelf-stable products from August and farms such as diced bell peppers, onions, and celery in my pantry at all times. I love it!

10. Datrex Emergency Survival Calorie Ration

Datrex Emergency Survival Calorie Ration

There are twelve 200 kCal bars in the pack. It was approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Brand: Datrex

👤That is what these taste like. Really. Maybe not when you are watching Naked and Afraid in your living room. These things will be the best thing you have ever put in your mouth after 36 hours without food. I was trapped in my truck for 30 hours in a rest area in Montana during a snowstorm. I only had a half eaten bag of Cheetohs and a full bottle of Jack Daniels. I would have given my wallet full of cash for some of these things. I will always have some sort of sustenance in my vehicles. I keep some water in my cars and truck. It's just common sense. There is a I don't drink anymore. I hate Cheetohs now. These things are really good. It's like cinnamon hard cookies. They don't make you thirsty. They are small and well packaged. Get some packages. Put it in each vehicle. You could put one in your pack. For the price and convenience? You would be crazy not to. I definitely learned from it. Thanks for reading.

👤The bars that I got today were manufactured in May of last year. Only three out of five stars are given to getting less than half of the shelf life.

👤I have never eaten in a survival situation. I'll come back and update if this website is still alive. If you are eating your 1st or your 101st you will determine whether or not DATRX looks, tastes, and feels great. The experts and common sense tell me that you should try out survival food before you ever need it, so you'll know at least a small part of what it's like to eat and eat. A small sample won't give you the context of what to do in the winter with moose and other evergreens. They might taste like a steak, but not a moose steak. I tried a few in the comfort of my home. Really? They're factory-packaged in very snug, heavy-duty wrappers, so there's no need to carry around a backpack or accelerate the ingredients' decomposition. I can't vouch for that, it's got a little tropical flavor, but it's not like a dry cracker. There are very few large chunks of anything in them. They're powdery and drying to the mouth. You don't need water to choke one down. I have yet to demonstrate past a bite. If your idea of a survival bar has a bunch of rowdy locals and a line of tappers, you should not click on the wrong website. If you want a product that's been around for a long time, you need to make sure you keep a bunch of these, check the expiration, and set your calendar towel in case. We're back to pre-IBM days, re- ordering every few years. This isn't one of those things that lasts 25 years, even if it's fresh out of the pack, because it tastes like it's been around that long. I appreciate that a company has made the trade-off between taste, texture, and all those comforts against the practicalities of survival, even going to the trouble to print clear instructions about food survival and water consumption on every pack of their product. 5 stars for the product, price, light weight, packaging, and encouragement.

11. Bear Essentials Survival Perishable Alternative

Bear Essentials Survival Perishable Alternative

A high energy value and ready to eat. Their survival supplies kit contains enough emergency food to last an adult 15 days, consuming 2,000 calories of emergency food per day, and a 20lb non-perishable food pack. Each pack of emergency supplies has undergone a stringent quality inspection. If they wouldn't consume these bulk food supplies ourselves, they wouldn't sell them. The perfect complement to your emergency preparedness items, this survival food with 25 year shelf life contains enough emergency ration to see you through any crisis situation. Their survival food kit is perfect for anyone who wants an MRE alternative, or who wants to avoid the risk of crowded grocery stores, because each box of survival essentials is a practical long term food. If you don't like their food survival kit, just let them know what the problem is and they'll do everything they can to make it right. Bear Essentials has excellent customer service and outstanding quality. If you don't like their food survival kit, just let them know what the problem is and they'll do everything they can to make it right. Bear Essentials has excellent customer service and outstanding quality.

Brand: Bear Essentials Survival

👤Not an MRE alternative. 5 large bags of dry ingredients cost more than what I could buy at the store and still require a pot and water to make. It's only useful in the ideal survival scenario. It is worthless for survival and a waste of money.

👤The bag is sealed with rice, beans, macaroni and pancake mix. It would be cheaper to buy it at the store. You need a pot and water to cook food. It is not like a MRE that you just add water and cook. The packaging is thick and seals tight. Customer service is great.

👤I was expecting a premade meal. The money was wasted.

👤It comes out to about 16 cents per 100 calories. You can't beat that. Some of it is white rice. It's in a package for 25 years. You have to replace it every couple years. I'm going to buy more. You could eat 1000 calories a day with the other 2 week supplies, but only if you had one box. Think about it. A family of 4 can have a month's supply of food for $200.

👤I bought these because I wanted to save them for a rainy day or flash flood, but I haven't opened them yet. I like the packaging, it makes it look nice to get a box of food, but I wish there was a different type of box for storage since I live in the Pacific Northwest and everything gets damp. I could put the food in a tote. The food is in a nice package. I thought it was cute that it told you when it was born. We can make it last for a while if we give a lot of serving for practical reasons. I was happy to get the emergency food and put it in a cute box. Maybe take it camping this summer.

👤It is a great price for a basic meal prep. It comes in a box that is crushed by your door. The company needs a better package after the contents were not damaged. I would buy one a month if it came better packaged. It is difficult to stack the product when the box is bulging. I'm going to buy some buckets to put it in. It seems to be good.

👤I don't buy military ration if there's no fuel or fire. This is a lot of food for a small amount of money. Having long lasting grains like this gives me some peace of mind.

👤I found that I should start just in case. The case was worth the price for a first timer. It doesn't take up much space in our limited storage and the packaging is secure, so there are no worries about anything going bad. The ingredients are straight forward and easy to make. I recommend!
