👤I was looking for a back up solar/duel purpose light if a storm knocked out power. Good reviews are what I write. I rely on reviews for my purchases and come out typically with A grade experience myself because its not just the product, but the packaging, companies, the shipping companies, Amazon etc... and this has been a disappointing buy all around. This is a better purchase for kids in a fort. I was used, dirty, sticky, and not all working lights were in heavily re-taped boxes. I think the only one that was brand new never used was because it had no sticky mess from the stickers, handles and glass protectors. Some already worked. Cheap. My hopes for the solar to work enough to hold a charge are very low, as far as I have found, these do not hold a charge from the cord attachment. Cords will not last long. Plugging into the wall is great for a work bench or back light. Don't buy.
👤I was hoping these lanterns would be durable. Nope! Two lanterns would never be able to keep up with demand. The flashlight on one of the two that did work doesn't work. The cords are cheap and fall out of the sockets. I had to find a way to keep them from falling out. Two people are charged. I tried different cords and sockets, but the other two never did. These are cheap. I had a brand that held up well. The brightness is not very bright. The lanterns from another brand were not as bright. These lanterns are disappointing.
👤These were bought for when there is a power outage. Light us with enough light and a flashlight. It didn't charge my phone. The other reviews stated that charging was slow but in my case it took 90 minutes to charge my phone. For me, it's not a big deal because I wasn't planning on using this feature.
👤Two of the four lights have broken and are similar to cheap china lights.
👤The light is very bright. I bought some for every room in the house. During a recent power outage, they were very useful.
👤What I was looking for. TX was put on notice. Bright light and flashlight.
👤There were no instructions for the odd cord that came with these. Possibly European? Not a typical charging cord. I know they are solar, but no instructions for charging other than that. It was charged under an indoor lamp. I'm sure the sun works best. They don't know how long the charge will last. Nice lamps.
👤I bought these on a whim. I have been pleased with them so far. They charge in the sun. They are not as bright as the posting says, but they will be good if I need them in a power outage. The flashlight feature is very bright. If you could use batteries in them, these would be better.
👤I have no idea what the plugs are used for. There is no indication whether or not the charging is actually charging. The indicator is malfunctioning. I don't know. It's not a product that makes it easy to use.
The led spotlight flashlight has a convenient handle and can be changed 180. It is easy to carry. You can work alone if you don't have the help of others. The portable emergency radio is the hottest radio accessory. It's easy to use and do many things in one device. It has multiple power sources and is great for keeping it charged during power outages. A lot of features are included in theCompact Weather Alert Radio, including bottle opener, flashlight, solar panel, phone, and battery operated. The indicator shows how much power the device has left. The digital display of stations makes it easy to find a station you want and reception is better than other radios. You need this in your car, house, and big bag for emergencies. This is a must have as it can be completely powered by crank power, and added security should an emergency arise. You can listen to the radio on your trips so that you can always get the latest weather information. The backup phone battery, emergency light, and solar battery options are also great. The sound quality for radio was excellent, and the alarm is an awesome inclusion. The weather is so unpredictable these days that this is a great radio to own. It was a relief to be able to listen to the radio in case of bad weather. It's a great technology. The emergency radio has helped many people during the hurricanes and snow storms. What a cool radio. It's perfect for an emergency. Emergency weather radio, 1USB cable, and aninstruction are included in the packing.
👤Very cheap. It was the first use.
👤I like the fact that it is small and not heavy.
👤This product is amazing. It has a solar panel.
👤The features on it are great. It is easy to use. That's always a win when it comes charged. Loud volume for it to be small. It seems to be a good product.
The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. 👤3 AA batteries are required. Surprisingly light for the size. It's not cheap to use China plastic. It's ridiculous how bright this thing is. I hang this and put it on the table like a regular lantern. It is black and folds up compact. It looks like a tactical move. It's easy to turn on. Simply open it and it will be on. It's not necessary to misplace a small switch or button in the dark. We had a cabin fire and I threw the broken window out to break it. I am sad that my lantern is missing. If you've read my review so far, this is a test. If so, well done. I am going to give you lunch. I apologize for lying to you.
👤I bought this lantern almost a year ago, but VONT has started sending me emails that are not related to the lantern. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from this company. If they're selling your email address and other information to other people for a few pennies, you're probably right. This needs to be fixed by Amazon. There is a The lantern worked for a while, but then the lights started flickering, making it useless.
👤I dropped it and it didn't break. The plastic doesn't seem to crack or break, and they both light up very well. The batteries are included. It's a straight forward approach. These will help when the power goes out, light up a tent well, and provide a work area. The handles are strong. There is no flashlight feature. Straight forward lanterns are what these are.
👤We are camping. The lanterns are easy to use and have a good price. These put off a good amount of light. The led bulbs are used in them. The hanging feature is great. We can either hang from the interior hook built into the roof of our tent or place it on our picnic table. It gave us plenty of light to take care of things before bed. The camping bins have these additions. After my husband got our generator going, we grabbed one of these and were no longer sitting in the dark. These are better than a flashlight in those situations as they are directional light and they light up a room quite well.
👤There are many good things about these mini L.E.D. lanterns. Value For The Dollar is one of the most important criteria when I rate a product. These lanterns deliver. They are light and bright. There are others on the market that are less expensive. I decided to purchase these because they were plastic. The base and the body were not damaged. The batteries seem to last a long time. If you lock your eyes on them, they will be bright enough to make your vision blurry. At $7. I feel like I have great value for the dollar. Some of the brands with metal bases were reviewed and commented on, and they were found to be rusting up after contact with water.

Their Emergency Weather Radio has an 18-month warranty. If you don't like the weather radio, they can give you a full refund. Their customer service is always available for you.
👤It seems like the product has all the features you need, but you're actually tuning it to a station. It is difficult to narrow down to the station. A digital display radio is better for you.
👤It has all the features you need, but unfortunately the battery portion does not hold up, it starts at 75% and drops to no % displayed within minutes. The crank is even worse than the tuner, it takes 7 days of full sun to charge the solar panel.
👤It was charged once and had it running for a day and a half. I went hiking and camping with it. It was amazing sound and clarity. I was getting a lot of signals. My Dad was impressed when he saw the flashlight, solar panels, reading light, etc. Good purchase. 5/5
👤The MD-090P is a great emergency radio. All features worked as advertised. The sound is clear, the lights are bright, and the sound is loud. AM and FM. The weatherband is all working. The design is attractive. It's bright enough to enable you to locate radio when you need it, but not that eye-catching orange that would make you want to hide it. It is small, but feels substantial. Quality workmanship is not cheap. I have ausb cord that works on my devices. The hand crank glides easily. I haven't tested the amount of cranking needed to charge the radio yet. Would have liked a horizontal handle or thick strap on top, but wrist strap with carbiner on lower right enables you to hang light above you so it's facing downward in an emergency, which could be helpful. Also, note: The tiny blue lights on the front will go off after 30 seconds if you have AM on and flip up the light. When blue lights go out, you'll lose your AM and get static, but don't touch the dial, it will come back after 30 seconds. I bought this model for my radio.
👤It really sounds nice for the size of the radio, which is not much bigger than a box of half a dozen eggs. The transistor radios of the 1970s were worse. Sound quality doesn't really matter in an emergency, but the volume goes up a bit. The people on the other side of town probably heard the emergency sirens when I tried them. The blinking signal worked well. The three levels of light are enough to land an airplane. I can't attest to battery life because I got this a couple of days ago and it was already halfway charged. The battery power indicator didn't light up when it was hand cranking it. I didn't put much effort into it. I'm going to let it drain.
👤Awesome solar/crank radio. It hasn't been able to charge a phone.
👤It feels like a loose tooth. I am digging it so far. I bought it for my boat. I will update this in the near future.
👤It works well. The alarm is loud. The lights are brighter than I expected. The option to crank generate is something I love. The ability to use batteries makes it even better. Local weather news andbulletins as well as the Am/Fm reception. It will be a great gift. It's small enough to fit in your backpack and move out.

The high beam can reach 10M and the low beam can increase the lighting range. The reading lamp has a soft reading light to protect your eyes. It is also a must-have. Over 4.2 million units of this model are sold each year. The complaint rate is very low. A lot of people have been helped by this product. 👤Excellent digital display radio, does everything I need my units to do, if I changed anything, I'd make the control buttons a bit clearer contrast-wise, otherwise a really enjoyable unit to operate, thanks. It works well on all bands, and can pick up both the local and distant NOAA stations over 100 miles away.
👤I am very happy with the radio. It's what you need in an emergency. It's small and light. The radio is great. I received a very difficult station at the bottom of the dial and it was clear with no static. I like the screen. It was fully charged when it arrived. There are battery, solar andusb charging.
👤The Windrogon weather radio is easy to use and works great. I like that I can charge it, but it also has a hand crank. The battery charge display was one of the reasons I purchased it. It is easy to tune in to radio stations with the digital display. The button will be useful when needed. The quality of the unit is excellent. It comes with a set of lights that can be turned on. Highly recommend this product. I read all the reviews before buying.
👤I loved the radio. I wish I had bought it before my last power outage. It has a regular battery and solar panels. There is a place to charge your cell phone and there is a sound quality that is great. Everything you might need was included. I am very happy with my purchase.
👤After using the first purchase in outdoor settings, I am so satisfied with the second purchase that I have to write a review. I have a survival radio that is old school and works on 3 AA batteries, but it is difficult to tune to radio stations without picking up background static, it costs $20 and it is just a radio that operates on 3 AA batteries. The pictures show how the display looks in the dark, as well as a comparison of the size and display of the iPhone XR. Digital radio station tuning is very clear and probably because it is accurate. The display is bright in the dark, but it doesn't stay lit forever. There's a built-in internal battery, a powerbank, and aUSB port that you can plug in to charge your device. I own a portable solar power bank that takes forever to juice up, but I am not sure about hand crank charging, or 3 AA batteries. It's an issue because it has a 5,000mAh battery and contributes to the weight. I am very happy with the purchase.
👤Extras over most similar weather radios: 5000mAh instead of 2000-3000, multi-function flashlight instead of a single beam, hand crank is large enough to use easily, auto-scan which makes it easier to locate stations, weather alarm option, and sturdy structure. It's a great bug out bag addition as it's not bulky and has 5 ways to charge the radio and it's a power bank as well.
You can charge the camping light through the sun or ausb port. The lantern will provide bright light for 3-6 hours after being fully charged. 2 In 1 Lantern Flashlight Design You can use it as a lantern or flashlight with a foldable design. Hang the lantern on the tent or take it away with the handles. The lantern'susb output design allows you to charge mobile phones and other devices when needed. The flashlight lantern is portable and durable. It is space saving and lightweight. The lantern light is bright enough for indoors or outdoors, such as: camping, reading, fishing, power outage, hurricanes, storms or emergency backup light. The lantern light is bright enough for indoors or outdoors, such as: camping, reading, fishing, power outage, hurricanes, storms or emergency backup light.
👤Initially, it worked great. Considering a camping trip. I was confident that leaving it out in the sun would charge the lights. The lights are bright. It lit up our site after it was bought. I found out that it doesn't hold up and I don't know why. It died after my 4th camping trip. It's not certain if it would charge through solar. I love the idea of a lantern and spot light, but without being able to charge it through the sun, it was useless to me. The product material is good but not great. The ones from bass pro shops did not feel rubber like I expected. The solar panel has an anchor on it. The solar panel fell off after light usage and a slight tap. I had to glue the solar panel. It's great when operational! It doesn't charge through solar, so it has not shown usefulness.
👤I put the other unit outside in the sun after opening the box. The one on the computer was fully charged after 4 hours. I connected the other one to the internet. I was concerned about the solar charging ability because it took another 4 hours to reach full charge. It should have taken less than three hours to top off from theusb and 10 hours to full charge from solar. I looked at the output. I was able to charge my phone from about 60 percent but I don't know how much battery was left in the lights battery. The flashlight and lantern were on for about 2 1/2 hours before the lantern was very dim and the flashlight was barely glowing. The flashlight and lantern only last for about 3 hours, but the flashlight was starting to go off after 4 hours. Now to see how solar charging works. I pulled out my multimeter. The battery was dead after discharging the unit with a lantern and flashlight. The battery still read 2.85V when I brought the light into the sun, so it looks like no solar charging was happening. I connected the battery directly to the light points after removing it. I never saw more than 2.2V when the solar panel aligned directly into the sun, and it was obvious that the solar charging does not function at all. The manufacturers were dishonest. Returned for a refund.
👤The electricity went out. I grabbed one of the lanterns I keep by the window. I was able to read and see everything in the rooms. I pushed the top down when I got to bed. These are wonderful. I didn't bother with candles. What a great purchase! These are so lightweight that this old granny needs them.
👤I like these. Hurricane season is coming and I live in Florida. The lanterns can be charged with solar or my phone's battery. They can use a lantern or flashlight. It was nice and bright. The batteries were with it. I can charge my phone. They have a charge for a long time.
Solar powered lanterns are an essential piece of camping gear, so be sure to pack this collapsible lantern for your next outing. It folds to the size of a hockey puck. You don't have to worry about running out of battery. This camping light is both solar powered and portable, and can be used as a phone charge. Their solar lamp can be used as a flashlight for emergencies, as well as overhead lighting for the tent, and more. First of all, safety. The best camping lights are designed to be safe. That's why they have built-in protection to prevent overheating. The gift is ready. The collapsible solar lantern is a great way to upgrade your camping supplies. It will help you find your way through the wilderness at night. The gift is ready. The collapsible solar lantern is a great way to upgrade your camping supplies. It will help you find your way through the wilderness at night.
👤It hasn't been charging by the sun at all after a month and a half. The red light used to light up when it was time to charge. The phone charging claim is false. I took it to the beach fully charged, connected my phone and it didn't charge at all the entire time we were there. I can't bring it back since the 30 days have already passed. It's a waste of money. I am upset by the false claims in this product description. Is that true?
👤It is very effective and very small. A decent amount of light is provided. The small solar collector takes time to replenish. If you're looking for a campsite lamp, I recommend the Hsicly from Amazon. My experience is that batteries are long lived.
👤Returned! The flexiblelampshade part twisted and was unable to be re-folded and continued to get crushed.
👤The plastic of the lantern is damaged when the air crumples when I pull it open. The lantern stayed bright for 3 hours. I have owned these types of lanterns before and never had an issue with the plastic being distorted, they stayed bright for a long time. I'm returning the product.
👤These lights are wonderful! We might order more because they are that good. They are a great value as they can be charged by sunlight or by cord, and you can plug them into any outlet you want to use. They also work as a phone battery separator. They give off a lot of light. The photos are on the lowest setting and they light up the room. You can use it as a flashlight or lantern. You can hang them up with a small hanger. They last for hours and days. These lights are very good.
👤This is great for lighting up a tent. It's small and folds up nicely. I would go with something else if you were using it to light up your campsite. The light doesn't spread very far. If you're a backpacker, the handle isn't very strong and you're going to hang it from your pack, it's not very strong. The handle on ours broke. We will keep it for camping trips. Invest in a better product in the future.
👤This is a great lamp for camping. There is a solar powered port and a port for charging electronic devices. It can be used as a flashlight or lantern and has two brightness settings. My friends were a little jealous of me because I took this on a camping trip. It works well and is small enough to fit in a pocket when it gets dark. I hung it from the top of my tent when I was reading in a storm because it could be set on a table to provide good lighting. I did not need any other light source because it illuminated the entire tent well. I have only 2 negative things to say about this lamp, one of which is that it takes a little practice to get a hang of the opening and closing. I still think this is a great lamp for the price, even though neither of these are dealbreakers for me. It's a must have for your next camping adventure.
A basic first aid kit includes bandages, alcohol pads, wet wipes, and antibiotics.
👤This thing is bright. Like crazy bright. It's like staring into the sun in the middle of the night when you open the sucker. They are not fooling around when they say this is a bright lantern. The only complaint I have is that when you open it, you only get one setting. As the sun or darkness. There is no in-between. It's meant to light up the world, not just your campsite, so you can close it a little to reduce the brightness. I've had mine for a year and haven't changed the batteries. I bring a lantern with me when I go camping in the summer. Everyone else's site is within 10 miles. The lantern is bright. It's great. I plan on using it again. Just as soon as my eyesight comes back from the last time I used it.
👤Double boxed for safety, arrived on time. Save a smaller box for lanterns. The light is very bright. I can't comment on battery life until I use it. It's perfect for my apartment during a power failure. I don't think the lanterns are strong enough for heavy use, such as camping, but in the safety of your home. I recommend.
👤The lights were used for the first time after the power went out. They are bright, but not as bright as they could be. They are bright and painful at the same time. The only use for them is hanging high. Placing on a coffee table or dining room table will not work. Maybe a frosted shade would help diffuse the intensity. These will not work for us so we will need to look for something else to use during rare power outages and hurricanes. I can see why they are called camping lanterns. Hanging them from trees around the camp site might work out. It's not recommended for table use where they will be in close proximity to people during hurricanes.
👤Everyone needs a reliable light in an emergency, camping, or a black out. This is a great solution. It is bright and can light up a room. It pulls open for light and pushes to turn it off. The body of it is nicely constructed and easy to use. The metal handles can be folded down to make it easy to store next to a bed. A young child wouldn't have a problem using it. The light is very bright, but it doesn't get hot to the touch. Everyone in the house can now have a reliable light when they need it.
👤The camping lanterns with batteries were delivered. The lanterns are sturdy and bright enough for what I need. I was required to let a third party update my software when I tried to get the lifetime warranty activated. I couldn't get to the next step without the update. They don't know how dangerous this can be. I don't think I'll have a warranty.
👤Don't let them fool you, it's still decent. These aren't Pelican Case material. I think the lamp would be smarter and just light up the LEDs on the exposed side as I open it. It would use a bit of energy when I opened it. All of them light up when you open it a little bit. It uses the same amount of energy no matter how much light you need. Hope these help someone.

Their products come with a 1 year warranty. The portable solar emergency radio is more powerful than the traditionall radios. A life saver radio. There are four ways to power the weather radio. The crank weather radio will provide continuous power to the radio and no worry about power being off. It can be used as an emergency power bank. The HAND-CRANK will always have power. An alarm and a reading lamp. This flashlight radio with alarm and speaker is great for outdoor enthusiast, it can emit a loud emergency call, and make you get help quicker, if you get lost outdoors. Aiworth waterproof emergency radio with a backup power source is an essential tool for home use and outdoor activities, it makes your life more safe. The packing included an emergency radio, a microusb cable and instruction.
👤The emergency radio is good for what it costs, but it could be better. I like the big screen. It's much easier to read. There is a The charging cable uses a microusb cable. Most of the phones in the world use theusb-c cables. There are no cables for Apple products. We had to order the cables in case we had to charge our phones in an emergency. The 2000mAh Power Bank is next. It's okay. The newer emergency radios use a power bank. The 2000mAh will only charge one phone. The radio has a solar charging station on top of it. The flip up solar panel on the emergency radios gives them more direct sunlight for charging.
👤I've been testing this against my other gear for a couple weeks now. It's going well. I have a few of the Eton Microlink FR160, so you can see how it compares to my video review. There are pros and cons for people who don't want to watch the video. It's not as compact as an analog or battery only device, but it's not hard to focus. It could be easier to replace the built-in battery.
👤I wanted to keep something in my vehicle for emergencies. The sound quality of the emergency radio I have is so bad that it becomes an irritation after a minute or two. The sound quality is good, but the radio matches the er210 in every respect. It was the same size as the er210. The solar panel will produce power. The crank can be turned easily. The reading light is more of a spot light. When the radios are plugged in, reception on the er210 does not change but on the Aiworth reception is severely affected and one has to move the antenna to an upright position to get it away from the body of the radio. Both radios have excellent reception.
👤We are trying to build a family emergency box. My husband suggested that we get an emergency radio to use when we are backpacking, since we will be off the grid for a week next spring. I found this one on Amazon and it has all of the bells and whistles. Exactly what we were looking for! Oh my gosh! There is a hand crank that you can use to crank battery power, and the radio is charged by solar energy. The radio can be charged using a cable or batteries. There are lots of different options. This emergency radio has a flashlight, a reading lamp, and a compass, and it's also an emergency radio. This is a power bank, so I can charge my phone with it in the event of an emergency. That is better than that. This will be great for us to take with us. It's essential for emergencies and backpacking. It's definitely recommended for every household.
👤The radio has a battery inside. The solar panel will charge when it's under the sun. You can put batteries in it. You can charge with the cranks at back. The radio can be used to search channels. It has a flashlight. It's a good companion when you are in the forest.
In case of an emergency, 2000 mAh power bank is all you need to charge your phone. Their camping lantern has a large capacity 3000 battery, it has 3 power supply modes, a solar panel, and a hand crank. 👤I sent it back because I read the directions. You can't use the sun to charge the lantern. You will lose the light if you use it to charge anything else. The only way to charge it without the internet was hand cranking. I need something that will use solar to keep me on the trail for more than a day. The directions stated that the AC adapter that came with the product was not a good idea and that the proper charging station is available. Don't buy if you're warned.
👤The only reason we gave this lantern 2 stars was because it is correct in concept, it is lightweight, portable, and can be charged by solar, and has a hand crank in an emergency. The lantern fails in execution and hope the next revision fixes some of the issues described below. Our first test was only 5 hours, and the lantern does not last anywhere close to the advertised 35 hours. It is possible that we could have gotten a better battery, but this order of magnitude difference shows the company does not do any basic testing before sending units out the door. If you throw the lantern in a duffel bag, back of the car, or your backpack, it will open and you will find a dead lantern. The fault alone was a dealbreaker. We got a Enbrighten lantern that has 75 hours on a 4400 mAh battery and is much brighter on its lowest setting, so it must be a ton more efficient. There is a provision to insert 3removable D batteries for 350 additional hours or 175 additional hours in our tests. We decided to get an external solar charger when they become more affordable because it is not so lightweight or compact and does not have alternative charging mechanisms. Save yourself the trouble and spend more money on a better lantern. Should you need a lantern in an emergency, you will thank yourself.
👤The light is bright. We went camping for 2 nights and it stayed lit. I was able to charge my phone. The hand crank is not the most comfortable grip, but if you need light and not a charge, it works. It was raining and overcast over the weekend, but the solar charge works well. It works best as a light but not the best charger.
👤The lantern is more than I expected. It does everything I need. I wanted a light source that didn't rely on batteries. It has a crank and is charged. And very light. I keep this one in a closet if the power goes out. I plan to give more as gifts.
👤Our solar isn't working so we bought this to give us more light at night. It was dead by 6:30 in the morning on the first night. I don't think I charged it enough. I leave it plugged in most of the day. We use it for a couple hours at night, then turn it off the next morning. It doesn't dim and seems to run. I have charged it in the sun but the charge is not very long with constant use. We have a solar power system that works for us. The lantern is very bright. The flashlight part works very well. It was a little awkward to hold the flashlight part in your hand. We bought it again for the lantern part. It is lightweight, bright, and has a good battery life.
The emergency radio has helped many people during the hurricanes and snow storms. What a cool radio. It's perfect for an emergency. Emergency weather radio, 1USB cable, and aninstruction are included in the packing. The weather alert radio has an invisible antenna. Get the news or notices at the first sign of bad weather, which will give you time to prepare and save you and your family. The weather band can be changed via the manual "M". Press tune up/down to select a station. It was easy and convenient. The battery capacity can be seen by day or night with the LCD screen design. There is a light with a bright light. Under the support of a powerful battery, the furthest lighting distance can be more than 10 meters. The flashlight should be held in darkness to illuminate the way. If enough sunlight is available, the high efficient solar panel can absorb a wider spectrum of sunlight. Short circuit protection, over charge and over discharge protection, reverse polarity protection, and over charge and over discharge protection are included. It's a great gift option for a traveler or adventurer. There are three power sources that can power the device when it runs out of power. The emergency weather radio's 3 power sources can be used when you need to increase the power or replenish the radio. The flashlight, radio, and alarm could be supplied by the hand crank after the power cut. The hand crank can help you cope with an emergency even if you are in a place without power. Light and design will be improved in 2022. For Power Soars emergency solar radio, they improved the points based on feedback from their offline customers. It is so small and portable that it only weighs 0.55 pounds. Take it to where you want. It can supply 20H if you only turn on the radio. The most energetic lighting functions include a 3-mode flashlight. A good choice for travel. The band was designed for cyclists. The bike holder on this hand crank camping weather radio allows cyclists to listen to the radio in their bumpy journey or lighting the way forward without worry about their fallen radio. During an emergency power cut, the 2W integrated led flashlight are a must have. It is possible to be a lifesaver, survival gear and equipment during disasters.
👤The only issue is that the directions seem to be in reverse, it says for manual tuning, short press, but if you go too far, you'll stop. It works well as a long pocket radio, but is designed for use on a bike handlebar. The whip antenna is designed to point towards where one's knees are constantly moving, so even if one doesn't hit it or bend it, most stations should come in fine. If one knows where the traditional orientation of the station is, the AM bar should be located on the top or bottom of the unit. The best reception is heard when the unit is out of phase with the E/W or N/S orientation of the transmitter. I imagine that most people will ask if it's possible to charge their cell phone brand, well from what I've read, the crank allows the port to give up the capacity, so it's possible to charge a cell phone brand. If you want to use a crank radio for cell phones, you can always buy the cheapest 5000Mah model, or the new model that is just coming on the scene, a single model of 10000 mAh crank radio. If you want a lightweight emergency radio with good weak signal selectivity on AM, this is a good model even if the tuning function is less than ideal or easy to understand, even if the instructions on the item page and the user manual both appear to have them listed in reverse. The power on is via the volume knob near the top, it goes loud enough on weak stations, not loud enough to be heard over a storm, but loud enough to be heard in a storm shelter.
