👤I bought the lantern for emergencies because I never wanted to test it in this way. We are in the middle of a power failure in Texas due to extreme cold and a power grid collapse. I bought lanterns for our emergency cabinet. I keep them prepared with batteries in them, and a date taped to them so I can always keep good batteries in them to respond in an instant. This February, the system and lantern worked well. Our electricity went out along with about 4 million other people's electricity and we had temperatures as low as 3 degrees for long periods - we still aren't out of this and only get power for 30 minutes at a time. We are lighting our house with lanterns. These are better than candles. They are easy to carry with their handle, so the ease of portable use has been helpful. Some lanterns are lighter, but their batteries aren't as long. The lantern has been bright enough for our needs so far. There is a lantern on our coffee table. I turn it off by 2 a.m. because we don't need it in the day. Each night. It has helped us in an emergency. I feel bad for people who only have candles or flashlights. It is not possible to get lanterns after an emergency. Stores have no electricity and roads are not safe to drive. There is no delivery. Unless you have already purchased, stored and ready to go, only a helicopter landing in your backyard could get these to you during an emergency. This has been a great lantern for our needs. Get a lot of lanterns. Keep the batteries in them. When the batteries were put in, label them. Fresh batteries should be kept in them. Extra batteries should be kept in storage as well. We may not have power for a week. We were able to stay in our home because we have reliable lighting and a gas fireplace. If they could find a hotel with power and a room, they would flee. I was prepared with lanterns, and I am happy to have them. A great lesson for our kids. I gave one adult daughter a lantern, but her batteries are old, so she doesn't have a lantern to use. It's good for her to know how to keep emergency gear in working order. I took out the lanterns, put them on the kitchen counter, and took one back to the bedroom after the power went out. Didn't miss a beat.
👤This light is amazing. The light was supposed to last for up to 6 days with one set of batteries. We were going out of town for 6 days and I wanted a light to stay in the garage. I put the regular Duracell batteries on the medium light setting. It lasted all the way! I am very impressed with this light. The setting is very bright. I will be purchasing more for emergency lighting. This is a great purchase.
This all in one, rugged camping kit has all the perks of expensive cooking sets. It cleans easily and nicely with your cookware utensils and décor. It's a great gift set for people who love the outdoors. The complete camping cooking set. The mini stove has a storage box, two anode oxidation with heat insulation, and a ladle, spoon, and fork set. The Camping Person Mess Kit is perfect for 1-2 people. The portable outdoor cooking set is a must have survival gear that can last for a long time. It's perfect for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnics, and other outdoor activities. All the accessories in the set can be put into the largest pot, and the lid of the small pot is covered to make sure they are not left behind. The handles on the pot or stove can be folded. The weight is only 1.26LB, the diameter is only 4.7 inches, the height is 6.1 inches, and the nylon net bag with hanging rope is very convenient to carry. The pot has a foldable handle that can protect your hands from injury. The mesh bag has a shrink rope that can be hung on the backpack. You can use it to cook, boil water, or fry eggs. You can enjoy cooking anywhere you go with a Beteray backpacking cooking set. You can use it to cook, boil water, or fry eggs.
👤This is a great set of utensils. The set also included a folding stove. The stove requires you to hold onto the handles. The handles are made of thick rubber to protect against burns. There is a The soup ladle is built into the spoon section so it is less likely to be lost. The natural loofah sponge is not recommended to be stored inside. The bag is a dirty bag after washing.
👤I wasn't expecting much for $30. I was expecting something cheap and flimsy, and not much more. That is not the case with this camping cookware set. It's ridiculously modular and small. It comes with a mesh bag for carrying and hang drying if you choose that route. It comes with a scrub sponge, a wooden spatula, a plastic food safe bowl, another bowl with a ladle attachment, a carabiner, and a pot. The quality is nice and the pots have a nice finish. It is a steel. No worries about oxidation or rust. Each of the pots has the same measurement in metric and standard so it is easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
👤This stove is light and packable. I was looking for a separate propane tank, so make sure you buy it. When you buy the combo, you get the burner, pot and extras in one package. The kit is great for camping, biking or cross country backbacking. It's good for one or two people and can bring 800mil of water to a boil in a few minutes. The pans are constructed well and non stick. The pot moves when you boil the water. The mesh carry has a lid that will fit over the top. The extras were useful. The set does not include a propane tank. Some propane tanks will not fit. This is a great addition to your pack. We were not able to light it on that small burner at the end of the camp, but I used that on your four day camp. I returned it.
👤There is a problem with the stove in the kit. There is a small tab on the rotating arms that will not open all the way. I wanted to use it on a hiking trip this week, but I am unable to push it with one of the utensils bent end. It is not ideal but usable. It works great once I open it.
👤I bought this for my husband who is a forest fire fighter. I wanted something that was easy to carry in his bag. He said it was fine. He was worried that it might tip over and start a bigger fire. Should have bought a jet boil.
👤The screws are on easy. It's easy to ignite. It burns like a jet engine. The water was boiled in 3 minutes and the baby had to sit because of the fire point of contact. It torches a small spot.
👤This was a gift. She likes it and backpacks with it. If you plan on using this, make sure you buy fuel somewhere else because there wasn't any fuel included.
The guide to develop your mindset, skills, and gear is a pro active learning tool. It makes a great gift. The Digital Details can be scanned with the QR code.
👤The reason for one star is that the container is not refillable. The top barely stays on the spices. I wrap the jar in a small baggie so it doesn't get lost. I have used up the pepper but still have a lot of other spices. I don't understand why a container is useless after it's been made. There is a better way to sell more spice. Will not purchase again.
👤The Yellow Prussiate of Soda is a salt that issodium ferrocyanide decahydrate. You can see the word that bothered me. I don't want it in my body, even though it's legal, because I didn't know I was buying it. I'm going to check the other salt in the house. I was not happy to see this in the fine print at the dining room table. The other spices seem to have no added substance.
👤I bought this six multi-spice to go camping this summer because I didn't want to take separate items. The idea of having all your spices in one container is a great idea. There was salt in the shipping box when the product arrived. I will just put more salt in the shaker. I didn't read carefully that it's not a reuse container. I have enough for this trip, I thought. I will figure out how to refill it. The plastic "lid" over the salt that is supposed to snap in place doesn't stay shut. I would have to keep it closed. It would be a mess if I tried to take this with me. I'd probably keep it in a bag with seasonings and salt in it. I would think twice about buying this product.
👤Don't. Unless you enjoy frustration and dislike spices, you will get plenty of both. These were bought for camping trips and did not survive. The lids are open. Most of the spices are solidified into solid blocks of uselessness after they get everywhere. The lid won't come off for you to break up the spices. A great idea was executed poorly.
👤The spices appear to have left their compartments. Some people in my family don't like cayenne. This is one of the drawbacks of online ordering. I could see it on the shelf. The photos on the product page don't represent it that way. One university professor says no worries about the anti-caking agent in the salt.
👤One of the caps does not fit. I'm pretty sure the cap was broken before it was shipped, but they chose to send it to me anyway. The cayenne pepper was mixed with all of the other seasonings. I needed it for a trip so I didn't return it. I had to dump the spices out and put them in my own. I wouldn't have cayenne pepper on everything. I had to leave the one slot empty. It was disappointing to say the least.
👤It's more expensive on Amazon than on Wal-mart. The item came with spices dusted all around the top and within the plastic wrap that keeps it closed before purchase. Good luck getting this item to close again once you flip up the lid, that's the last thing that sucks about it. I would return it, but it's only $7.
This awesome survival gear and equipment is designed for anyone who loves camping with their family and friends. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities. The cooking power is 7,650 total BTUs. It can fit a 10-inch pan. On one 8.8 ounce butane gas cylinder, it lasts up to 1.25 hours. The burner has a precise temperature control and the base is stable. The aluminum burner is rust-proof and the grate is easy to clean. A limited warranty for one year.
👤The video review is in action. I like to cook outside in the fall. I try to cook bacon on the back deck. I don't have to clean up the grease in the kitchen. I don't have a grill with a side burner. I've used a propane stove for 15 years. I was researching for a one that I could use at home, at the park, or while camping. I stumbled on a stove. I've seen the price vary from $16 to 35. This stove runs on butane instead of propane. The canisters are small and should last at least an hour. The stove is easy to use and hook up the fuel. I've used a lot of different stove designs over the years and most of them use a threaded design. This can be a problem for older children, older adults and people with dexterity issues who are trying to teach them how to use one. You don't have to thread or twist the canister with this stove. Drop it in the slot and push the lever that locks it into place to pressurize the system. The igniter sparks into the gas when the knob clicks past max. You're cooking and it's that easy. There are other things I like about this stove. Check out my video review to see how easy it is to operate. It's a great addition to your gear, whether you use it for camping, boating, back yard BBQ, or as an emergency cooking source when your power goes out.
👤Ignore those who say it's cheap. It's not a cast iron stove. If you beat on it or drop it, it will dent. It is supposed to be light weight. You're going to pay more if you want something heavy duty. This stove is very safe and easy to use. Unless you're out in the wind, the temperature can be controlled. This isn't rocket science when using this stove, flame on, flame off, and adjust to whatever temperature is desired based on the type of pan or food being prepared. Investing in a set of Pans made specifically for outdoor camping stoves will decrease your cooking time and use less gas. Coleman was 8.8 Butane fuel works well.
👤The water should be boiled in 5 minutes on high using only a small amount of fuel.
👤A name branded butane stove costs a good price. It works well. When you are done using the stove, you should remove the canister. It allowed a leak in mine.
👤The burner head melted just like a couple other reviewers had mentioned. It doesn't appear to have affected the flame pattern, but without Coleman or others saying "that's normal - I've used this for months and several cans afterwards without issue", I unfortunately have to return this... I like the small size and carrying case. I contacted Coleman but he didn't reply yet. It seems to work well, though it was disappointing for a first-time user to use a standard home gas stove. It took 10 minutes to boil a liter of water at the highest temperature. I think the wind caused the melting on a cool windy evening while camping.
These whistles are easy to use and can be used in a lot of places. You can be Heard from more than a mile away. Their rescue whistle is louder than your voice. It takes minimal energy to produce over 100 decibels of high pitched sound. It's easy for kids to blow. If your family gets separated in the wilderness, just what you need. It's easy to marry. The lanyard and clip prevent loss and ensure you have access to your whistle when you need it the most. It's lightweight and compact, and it fits anywhere. Can be attached to your clothing, backpack or life jacket. It is possible to have an inherently independent existence. The safety whistles are as tough as the terrain you are tackling. The plastic is impact resistant. They won't stick to your lips in the cold, which is one less first aid emergency to worry about. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. When you are stuck in the sticks, your gps or cell phone can lose signal or run out of battery. The pealess design of the whistle won't jam and can't be overblown like regular pea styled ones. Make sure you and your family are ready for anything on your next outdoor adventure. The set is green, orange and black. You can keep one in your car, emergency kit, backpack or bug out bag.
👤It does not sound loud. It takes a lot of effort to get a loud sound. I don't like giving bad reviews, but in this case the product looks great but isn't great. I guess you get what you pay for.
👤I bought these for a hiking trip. My teenage children and adult husband can't get them to whistle at all and one of them broke away from the cord. Not impressed at all.
👤I bought this product for my friends and wife who did the Rim to Rim walk. They liked it. One uses it for Girl Scout hikes.
👤It's a whistle. It makes noise. It's hard to be excited about something. It would be worth getting excited about if it could scream out my name while I blew it. It doesn't.
👤I don't think these whistle loud enough. I use these to call my dogs when I'm out in the woods. I don't use a lanyard that is adequate in size, but they have a clip built into it, which is a good idea. It sounds like a train whistle.
👤I like that it is lightweight and can be worn while supervising the swimming pool activity. The difference in whistle blower colors is a plus. The only thing I don't like about it is the high pitch whistle. I would prefer it to be louder.
👤The whistles are okay. The kids can't blow loudly.
👤The sound of these whistles is hard to come by. They are not loud. I wouldn't recommend them.

👤I ordered this for my son, but it was missing a parachute cord, fishing gear, multi purpose spoon, and a rectangular saw. We did not get what we paid for.
👤I bought two of these and they were missing items. The fire starter, light sticks, and water bottle buckles were missing from both of them. It's a pretty cool little kit for my boys, and they love it, but it didn't come with everything listed.
👤I put the content into a stocking and it looks great. There is only one glow stick, one fire flint, and one paracord bracelet. Great purchase!
👤This kit is perfect for camping. My only suggestion is for a knife with no locking blade. The kit would be a 5 if not for this. All other items seem to be of the same quality as the case.
👤Everything was very small inside the bag when it arrived. A lot of items were wrapped up. The flashlight needs batteries added to it. The items were sharp enough to be useful. The firestarter sticks are missing. The package advertised a black survival bracelet and water bottle clip, mine came with army green. There is room in the bag for additional items, Tweezers are a bit flimsy, I plan on adding a few additional items to the first aid kit.
👤There is a fabulous survival kit in a backpack. The kit has a lot of basic survival tools, but also more advanced ones that aren't usually included in other medium size kits. This kit is perfect to keep in a trunk, in a larger bag, or in a case, so you can keep all of the essentials in one bag. I keep some items in the original plastic bags inside of the backpack to stop them from rubbing on the other items. I added a few AA batteries for the flashlight and foam ear plugs to the kit. The flashlight only requires one battery. If you keep this bag in a larger bag, it's very easy to grab it from there. It's wonderful to give a student who lives away from school, or who works too, a trunk for emergencies that can happen unexpectedly. The kit has good quality tools and accessories. Over the years, they have been on par with other similar items. I want to have a kit in all of our vehicles for everyday life, as well as our students and those working away from home. I would buy this kit again.
👤I bought two packs for each family car. I unpackaged all the contents. The saw and flashlight were missing from the pack, and the battery connection was missing. rendering it useless. I wonder how many people have these kits in their cars or emergency bags because they think everything is ready to go until it's too late?
👤When buying these, pay attention to the size. It looks like a full on backpack, but it is all miniature. I could fit a few of these into a backpack. A total scam.
There is a must-have outdoor necessity that includes 1x 10 plates aluminum windshield, 4x spare mandrels, clean cloth, and a storage box. It's perfect for hiking, camping, backpacking, BBQ, picnic, outdoor survival and emergency preparedness.
👤I blasted a big fire and the stove held up. The water is boiled and does what it is supposed to do. I wish it came with a nicer bag for storage because it is a little bigger than I thought. Will get a lot of use this fall.
👤It was a gift for my mom. She loves watching bushcrafting on the internet. We made plans to go camping in the woods behind her house so she could try out her survival skills as soon as the weather warms up. I think that's correct.
👤It works amazingly. It was difficult to set up due to no directions. I suggest learning how to set it up indoors before hiking. I took about 10 minutes to get it set up. It seems very durable and you can make fire with it. Be careful with its edges.
👤I use this product for my bug out bag. I gave one to one of my followers as a prize because I was so pleased with it.
👤It's easy to set up and perfect for a backpack or seat pouch.
👤It is easy to assemble. It was quick to light a fire. The carry bag is very small. The edges are a bit sharp.
👤Great design for its purpose. Well thought out. Gave it 5 stars.
👤The stove is not usable because they sent cross pieces that did not connect correctly. One crosspiece needs to be cut in different directions. They don't sit on the stove because they are the same. I chose this item because they don't accept returns. Very disappointed.
All of the camping supplies are packed into a nylon mesh bag, and they nest great. The package size is 8.7x8.7x6 inches and the total weight is just 5.1 lbs. The handles on the pot or stove can be folded. The camping cooking set is small and portable and can be stored in a mesh bag for easy carry. Enjoy cooking wherever you can. The backpack camping cookware kit is designed for people who love camping with friends and families. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities. Broad range of companies. The stove can be used with any 7/16 thread single butane/butane-propane mixed fuel canisters. It will be more convenient and practicable with the addition of the flame controller.
👤I really, really want a portable mess kit like this one, especially with the kettle, but after buying two different brands. I am giving up. In both cases, the "non-stick" claim turned out to be false. I fried an egg using butter. It took a long time to clean it. I could not get the food to be clean and some of the non-stick coating came off with the food, so I used virgin olive oil and a rubber spatula. If anyone knows of a kit like this that has multiple customer testimonials of actually being non-stick, please let me know so that I can try again. If you don't care about food sticking, or only want to use the pans for soups, then this kit is perfect for you.
👤So far, so good! I like the light weight and design, it is all I need for a two person camping, and I will use it and leave a feedback about the quality later.
👤This was purchased by us for our first camping trip. We are boiling water for our camping meals. The burner unit with igniter took a few tries. There was a point of fuel flow that would cause the burner to start. We got it after some practice. We may pair it with the larger pot and kettle for future meals. My wife used the smaller pan to eat. It's hard to pack up, so pay attention to how you take the kit apart. Our morning coffee and evening Fireball were great in the insulated cups. The cook set is small enough to fit in your backpack, and would be great for a two person camp. The hikers could take it down to a cup, burner, kettle, and utensils. The whole kit is worth something. The kettle would be an improvement if there were measurement markings.
👤I took this set on a camping trip. I liked this setup more than waiting for charcoal. I used the pan to cook the hot dogs that I grilled in advance to cut down on cook time. The water was very hot. The cups are insulated. There is a storage bag with a carabiner. The kit was very useful. I need to use it again.
👤I received a replacement product with all of the pieces in an undamaged box. The burner supports only unfold a quarter of the way before getting stuck. The product is great and cheap. Quality control needs to be reexamined. The product was not a fault but my box was damaged during shipping and items were missing from the package.
👤A 4 day backpacking trip was brought on. The burner was supposed to be a backup but ended up being my primary stove. It was fantastic. Very surprised. Good flame control and lights are easy to use. I didn't buy the set for the stove because I didn't want to buy everything you want in a stove. I love the kettle. The stove lid should have alatch. The vacuum insulation is nice.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle on anything that could catch fire. Children and pets should not be near candles. The camping cookware kit includes a mini stove, 2 aluminum non-stick pots, 1 spoon, 1 fork, and 1 knife. Anti-slip and anti-heat handles. The anti-slip pot handles and the Silicone cup protectors can protect your hands from injury. One kit is all you need. You will be amazed by this set. The mini stove can be folded to save space. The pots have handles. Each pot is lightweight and solid because of the strong structure. It is a must have survival gear that can last a long time. The foldable handles on the pot or stove are easy to carry. The cookware set is small and portable and can be stored in a mesh bag. The camp cookware set is designed for anyone who loves cooking outside. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.
👤I bought it at only $23, even though I was skeptical. The phlegms were positive for lead. The pots do contain lead, but I used a 3M lead test kit. If you only want a burner and cup... It is still a good price. The burner comes with a plastic carrying case that fits into the cup, so that it can fit into a nylon bag with lots of room to spare.
👤I bought this set for my friends when they were camping. It was cute and compact, and we had a blast cooking our meals at our campsite. The set is easy to carry in a backpack and it warms up the meals more quickly than I expected. It works well on a gas attachment. The cook set is light and compact, and it has everything you need to cook. Most backpackers don't fix a full course meal so it's the right size for 1 or 2 people. A "pot" and a "pan" are included in the set. The pot is large enough to heat up 2 - 4 cups of water, which is what you'd need for your dehydrated food pack.
👤I considered a lot of options when I was looking for a cooking kit. I chose this one because it came with a pot and pan, which doubled as a lid, and as a bowl for eating. I didn't have to buy it separately because it came with a stove and a cup for coffee. The only thing I added to the package was a clip on the silicone strainer. I picked up a Coleman canister which fit the stove perfectly. There is no gas smell when I use it indoors. The stove was very good. I have never had one before, but it seems very sturdy and it worked perfectly the first time. I'm using the pot right now to cook a bag of rice, and it's not hot on the high setting. I am very excited to use this kit in the real world. If something doesn't go as planned, I will update this. I added a photo with items for reference.
👤After about two years, I decided that I was ready to be my own person and not be part of a family. I was able to make coffee and pancakes. The stove is small but has a lot of power and I was able to cook pancakes using a 8 inch pan and the water boiled within five minutes using the medium pot. I think I can cook a proper meal with it. I am happy for the small size.
👤The light is well thought out. I bought this for my motorcycle vacation, it fits nicely in a saddlebag, and uses very little fuel for a lot of cooking time, and I barely wore out the first canister cooking breakfast and dinner that included coffee and tea in the evening. I still don't recommend anything.
👤I can't tell you how good this stove is. I will not go into the woods with it.
A 20 year shelf life is possible. 2, 667 calories per day. It is easy to prepare. Just add some water. The shelf life is up to 25 years. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms.
👤Oh my gosh, so much complaining and whining. 1. If preparing for one person, divide the pouch into portions and only prepare 1 portion at a time. 2. Seal in a baggie or jar by rolling the opened top over. Unreconstituted leftovers are not bad in 3 days. 3. The dishes should be beefed up. Add canned chicken, dried vegetables, noodles, instant rice, lentils, or something similar. 4. Why am I looking at this product? Is it for survival or preparation? Is it for disasters? Thousands of books tell you how to get water, store water, and filter water. Food storage is discussed in the same books. The Forstchen book is a good starting point. 5. If you want to survive bad situations, you need to depend on yourself. Reality doesn't care about who you are. You will probably need to save yourself. Ask people who survived Sandy. 6. Today is a great day to start preparing for an uncertain future. Go to the grocery store and buy a box of rice, a jar of chicken bullion cubes, 3 cans of beans, and 2 cans of meat that you will eat. You can eat soup or casseroles for several days for under $10 now. The rest is on you, so remember. Prepare for the future.
👤The money has an outstanding value. The shelf life is 25 years. If you're in the market for long term food, you found the brand. Remember that in a "hunker down" situation, you're not likely to be in a hurry, so just take your time cooking it. My wife was pleasantly surprised by how decent these were. It would be enjoyable to eat this stuff and not die of starvation. Result, compared to normal food, was not bad at all. Result, considering that this stuff has been completely freeze dried and will last into my retirement.
👤Each entree or product is worth 72 hours for one individual but in a single package, so there are no complaints about this. If you want to use this for 9 meals, you need to open each entree and repackage it into three portions or cook it once and save the leftovers. I was hoping it would be packaged in a way that was convenient.
👤A pack of bananas. One pack of oatmeal says brown sugar, but it doesn't taste like it. The other three packs are just soup. The potato soup tastes good, but you want to add vegetables and meat. White soup is what it is. You have to make a huge pot of soup and store it. The humidity can get to open packs. The other packs were not the same as the banana chips. I will not buy it again. I tried to portion out the chicken and rice for a bowl. I got violently ill after eating it.
👤It was deceptive labeling. It's four big packages. If you're by yourself, you'll need a working refrigerator to keep the leftovers in. If you're buying this for a one person scenario, it's not realistic. I have been through an earthquake and I can tell you that grocery stores and electricity won't be there.
Another quality product from Coleman. The 10 pieces hiking cooking gear includes a pot, frying pan, tea kettle, fork, knife, carabiner, and a carrying bag. The plastic handles keep your fingers safe from the heat. The anti-slip design has a firm grip in your hands. Each piece has a non-stick Teflon coating for easy cleaning. It is a must have survival gear that can last a long time. The foldable handles on the pot or stove are easy to carry. All the objects in the cooking set can be stored in a mesh bag for easy carry. The cookware kit is designed for anyone who loves camping with their family and friends. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.
👤One of the best products I have ever purchased. It is easy to pack and use. I got it for a low price too. I don't think I would need to come for years for its excellent quality.
👤I was a bit worried about the quality of my Camping Cookware before I received my order. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the individual pieces. Even the utensils are sturdy and durable, from the pan size to the pot and kettles capacity. The set of cookware comes in a nice mesh bag with a drawstring and it's compact. I will be buying more sets for my family and friends in the future.
👤I went into the BWCA for a week and it was amazing. They held up well after being cooked over a fire. Can not complain! The big pot has extra room because it will cook enough food for 2 people. The tea kettle is great for quickly warming up water. The spoon knife and fork were not worth the price.
👤Not impressed with the quality. It works. I have some issues with it. First, why include two cups for two people, but only one set of utensils, and second, both cups stacked are much taller than the teapot and don't fit in the kit so you can't nest all the pieces inside each other like it implies in the pictures. The kit only has one cup. The handles on the pan and pot can swing open on their own while on the fire. They should be in the open or closed position. We are going on a camping trip in two weeks and will see how the non-stick surface handles eggs.
👤I haven't used them yet but they seem sturdy and came just as described despite being in a box with a different set on the front. The teapot was larger than I expected. The mesh bag holds it all together. They worked perfectly on a Coghlans stove. It doesn't stick like my last set did. The pan had to be moved a lot because the flame was small. The water was boiled for coffee. Great product!
👤I haven't tried it out in the outdoors but it works well on the stove. I was able to cook spaghetti in the pot, a chicken breast, bacon, and eggs in the pan, and boil water for ramen in a cup, as well as for coffee using a kettle. The silverware work well. I haven't used the cups yet but I can tell they will be good.
👤The cookware set is really cool. I don't use it for backpacking so I'm not concerned about its weight. When I looked at the box it was not what I had ordered, it was in it's own box with other items. I saw that it was the correct item when I removed it from the box.
👤I was initially skeptical about this set but was pleasantly surprised. Ignore the reviews that say you can't fit everything together. It fits perfectly if you arrange it correctly. I would recommend getting better silverware. The pot and pan are great for cooking. The handles can swing back in and become hot to handle. The teapot is small for two people, but the cups are large. A full kettle is enough to fill two mugs or cups. The weight is the biggest benefit. It takes very little space and weighs next to nothing. I recommend this set if you don't cook for more than two people.
