👤The temperature in my house is between 40 and 65. Our winters have been getting cold recently, with some of them down to 25. We have a large homeless population. It's not unusual to see someone sleeping on a bench, the ground, under some bushes, and wrapped in blankets. She's out there in the open, even in the rain. She had frost on her blanket when I drove by on my way to work. On a human being. I buy cheap blankets for people who don't have a place to stay to give them a warm place to stay. They are small enough to be carried in a pocket, have many different uses, and I buy the camouflage ones so they can be used quietly. I hope someone can get a better nights sleep because of them.
👤I use this product to help some lost dogs get warm in the cold weather in the Northeast. I take care of 4 lost cats. I covered the shelters with thermal blankets and plastic shower curtains. I filled the shelters with straw and checked them every day. Success all around! I could still feel warmth in the straw, and one kitty was in there when I checked. I was happy to help provide warmth because it was 3 degrees. I will probably buy again today. I received 5 stars from Swiss Safe.
👤These are for my emergency pack. They will be in my emergency pack so I can't write a completely honest review. I'll probably never use it. Doubt these can be used more than once. They don't seem to be able to take a lot of punishment. The word blanket was a little misleading at first but after watching a bunch of videos on the internet, it became clear. I know how mylar works. If you find a way to keep yourself wrapped inside, this will keep you dry and warm. I wish I'd thought of that idea of using duck tape to put two together. The blanket is not good in windy conditions. The blanket can reflect the sun's rays. It's only fair that you have to pay more for emergency blankets that you can better use. The SOL Escape Bivvy was enjoyable but the question is, "Can I afford it?" It is still very thin. I need a tarp to protect the Bivvy from the ground. This mylar blanker is the last bad thing about it, because you will never be able to get this blanket back into the pouch it came in. I didn't take the chance of unfolding it because of that. If you watch videos on the internet, you will be able to better understand how the emergency blankets should be used. Emergency blankets will not warm you like a cloth blanket that absorbs heat, it does not absorb heat, it reflects it back to you, so you will get rid of misconception of what to expect from emergency blankets. If you watch videos on the internet, you will understand the scientific principles of what you need to do to survive an emergency. If you have different ideas of how to use mylar, go with the manufacturer's suggestions. Mylar makes you sweat and in cold weather it can make you freeze. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you don't like it, put it in your emergency pack. Don't forget the duct tape, you might thank yourself later. Don't buy cheap duct tape.

👤The package arrived two days later than expected but luckily it was on time. Birthday gift. The package and case is nice, but there is no Guide to explain some of the things. Most things are obvious, but it would be nice if there was an explanation. Disappointed.
👤This would be a nice little kit. Not a survival at all. Has a couple good features but would hate to die on this one.
👤My husband had a star on his birthday. I don't blame him for unpacking each item with oohs and ahs, like it came out of a bag after a party. This kit is awesome. The price for the two-dozen or so items inside seems reasonable. There are so many stars.
👤The kids had a great time opening this one, it had many discussion worthy pieces.
👤The pen exploded with ink. It has to be thrown away.

👤The product is made of cheap metal. It looks like a cheap toy. After opening the box and charging everything. If you leave the light plugged into the wall, it won't work. I'm not sure how that helps in the woods. Try to dig a hole with the shovel, it bends on a small rock in the dirt. Thanks for being a crook.
👤The whistle and small compass were missing. It was camping and cut a few small wood sticks and axe chip.
👤The shovel and axe work well. I used it 4-5 times and it was not broken. Useful on other small parts. Whistle, knife, fork, flint stone, camping light... There is a can opener. There is a This product has a sturdy bag, which distinguishes it from others. I had purchased a similar product before. The bag was turned off first use. The return trip was difficult. I keep this in the trunk of my car because I always have the tools I need in the event of an emergency.
👤When I ordered one, it only worked when plugged in, so I sent one back and it still works.
👤When I purchased the kit, I was expecting something heavy and bulky, but it is a lightweight kit. It is useful and durable. Before buying it, you should check the dimensions. It is a perfect match for me. You get what you paid for.
👤The product is made nicely and be extra careful when removing the shovel head, all the pieces seem to lock in place really well, only thing I would add in the future is having a camping fork and spoon as part of the system.
👤I am very happy that I placed this order. Will this item have a purpose for me? Absolutely, a short answer. I needed a hatchet and shovel that I could feel comfortable with and handle, and this multitool fit the bill. I would recommend this purchase to a friend or family member.
👤I thought to dig a hole after taking it for a hike. The knife had screws in it and the handle had a flash light. It is a one and almost done.
Rugged military-grade construction and a 5” touchscreen display that is 50% larger than the previous model, offers easy viewability, and includes versatile mounting solutions. Some countries regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communications devices, so it's important to send an interactive alert to the GEOS 24/7. There is support for multi-GNSS and Galileo, as well as preloaded TopoActive maps and City Navigator street map navigation. ANT+ technology, BLUETOOTH wireless networking, and a direct to device access to BirdsEye Satellite Imagery are all included in the price. 👤The headline is a grabber line, only because you have to be the one to decide if it's worth it or not. I wouldn't dare not do my homework on an expensive item, I would read as many reviews and articles as possible. I do that on a hundred dollar item. It shouldn't take you as long as I did to make a decision on what you need or want, if you really know what you're doing. I'd read some articles comparing all the different features on a number of different gps units, especially when it comes to price. I'd ask the questions, "What do I really need and what am I willing to pay for?", if you're going to get more features with more money paid. Ok... I'm not going to go on a hike without taking a map and a compas. I know from experience that things can go wrong, and that you can get in a deep vally with a bunch of over growth and your signal runs out. The cat's meow can be heard in this gps. I'm not sure if I would use this more than my map and compass, partly because of all the things it does and partly because it's just that much fun. I'm not going to go over all of the features, but I would like to talk about some of the highlights for me. I don't think that's a deal breaker because I love the touch screen and I know it's more bulkey than the other units. It looks very bright. I downloaded the 7.5 minute maps of the west coast and they are clear enough for me. The 40 foot countour lines are the same as the topo maps I download on the website, I believe. If you get off course, the compass feature will show you by a break in the arrow line, which way you're off. Move over and get back on the line. You can also set a projected waypoint, which you can use to set a course back to it. I'm talking about having to cross a river and having to go out of your way to a bridge and then find your way back to the waypoint you set across the river before you detoured to the bridge. Base camp is a free software. You can set your map type preference, even the 7.5 minute. Then you set up your route. It's time to send it to your Montana 700i. Whatever unit you have. You can review the route you set up on Montana at the base camp. You can search for things on the unit. If you need to use a custom waypoint, you can just type your latitude and longitude over the waypoint one, and save it to your name. If you had that info, this would be great. I almost forgot about one of the most important features, which carried a lot of weight for me, deciding which unit to buy. There is an alert. It's true. They will come and rescue you if you lock into these special satalites. You need to subscribe to the serivce in order to use this feature, but I got the safety one at the cheapest price. It's somewhere around 15. A few weeks or a few months. You can get the more robust subscription, but it will cost more. You can send messages to anyone's email with this service. It could also help you without using the full blown SOS feature. They can reply back to you. It's nice that it's all on a satalite, so you don't need a modem to use it. It will work wherever your gps will work. I think that some of the user guide got a little hard to read, now and then, but for the most part it was very concise and readable. I know I probably didn't need the compass and altimiter features, but in order to get the SOS feature, you need to cough up the cash. Only a few of the higher end units have it. I'm very happy with the gps. I hope I mentioned that it is the Montana 700i. I didn't want to give away the extra "beans" for the 750 model, which has the camera as well. I hope this helps you make a decision. The man is called "MARC Trainor." ''

👤Let's get the details out of the way. When you bend them, they are glow sticks. They are bright and last a long time. The important stuff is here. These are toys for children to play with after dark. They use to track the children in the night as they romp around the campsite. Please don't tell them that glow sticks are popular. It's important to choose a color that's right for now, interest is high. Children under the age of 10 prefer red, blue, and yellow, with the tie at green and yellow being the last choice every time. Only when each child is allowed to pick a vacuum and not know the color of the other children's vacuums is this possible. The choice of color is either A: the one you just ran out of, or B: the one someone else has had before, and the child never gets that magical color. White gets a chance to be the preferred color if another child chooses it first. White has a chance to be favorite when there is a chance to get two glow sticks. I said it, two glow sticks. 87.5% of scenarios had two glow sticks over color choices. The bottom line is that you need these. You need them to have a color to kid ratio that surpasses societal standards. Don't say you haven't been warned.
👤The glow sticks are great. I purchase CHEM sticks from army surplus stores when I am an army veteran. I will order these sticks from now on. They do last for 12 hours, and they are a great price. The first six hours are the best. The glow starts to dim after six hours. 13 hours later, there is still a dim glow. I can put it in a drawer when I don't need light. My children can play with them or sleep with them in their rooms. I shake the capsule for 30 seconds to get it to light up. I have read some negative reviews about this product, but it gets 5 stars from my point of view. I ordered more.
👤The USA made one is still as bright as the one that was cracked together, but it is only a light glow. I will not buy them again. The savings are not worth it to me. The Chinese glow sticks are as good as the USA Cyalume. I might not have bought them if I had known they were Chinese. I also have the USA made ones. I will see how they hold up over time.
👤I bought a 20-pack of Cyalume brand and a 12-pack of Glow Mind sticks. The package has an expired date of July 23. The Cyalume brand expires a year later. I took an example from each package at the same time and checked it out over the course of 16 hours. The Chinese-made Glow Mind sticks were brighter at every stage. The Glow Mind stick was 1.5x brighter than the Cyalume stick, but both were quite dim. I was in a dark closet. On the date of purchase, the Glow Mind product is $1.08 each. I had to buy the 20-pack to get the price of the Cyalume product, which was $0.99 each on the date of purchase. One of my kids thought that the Cyalume product had more fluid than the Glow Mind sticks, but I pointed out that the Cyalume sticks have fluid from the very bottom of the stick upward. The fluid fill in both products is the same as far as can be observed without breaking them open. The Cyalume and Glow Mind are wrapped in foil and plastic tubes, with the latter being boxed. Look at images. The Cyalume product is hexagonal. Both have a hook at the top for hanging. The Cyalume product is labeled "Made in the USA" while the Glow Mind product is labeled "Made in China." The Chinese product was better in initial brightness and residual brightness than the USA product. I bought both of these products to replace a USA-made Ameriglo product that I used during a recent power failure, and those provided useful light over, but I'm not sure that matters much. Going forward, glow mind for me.
The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC.
👤3 AA batteries are required. Surprisingly light for the size. It's not cheap to use China plastic. It's ridiculous how bright this thing is. I hang this and put it on the table like a regular lantern. It is black and folds up compact. It looks like a tactical move. It's easy to turn on. Simply open it and it will be on. It's not necessary to misplace a small switch or button in the dark. We had a cabin fire and I threw the broken window out to break it. I am sad that my lantern is missing. If you've read my review so far, this is a test. If so, well done. I am going to give you lunch. I apologize for lying to you.
👤I bought this lantern almost a year ago, but VONT has started sending me emails that are not related to the lantern. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from this company. If they're selling your email address and other information to other people for a few pennies, you're probably right. This needs to be fixed by Amazon. There is a The lantern worked for a while, but then the lights started flickering, making it useless.
👤I dropped it and it didn't break. The plastic doesn't seem to crack or break, and they both light up very well. The batteries are included. It's a straight forward approach. These will help when the power goes out, light up a tent well, and provide a work area. The handles are strong. There is no flashlight feature. Straight forward lanterns are what these are.
👤We are camping. The lanterns are easy to use and have a good price. These put off a good amount of light. The led bulbs are used in them. The hanging feature is great. We can either hang from the interior hook built into the roof of our tent or place it on our picnic table. It gave us plenty of light to take care of things before bed. The camping bins have these additions. After my husband got our generator going, we grabbed one of these and were no longer sitting in the dark. These are better than a flashlight in those situations as they are directional light and they light up a room quite well.
👤There are many good things about these mini L.E.D. lanterns. Value For The Dollar is one of the most important criteria when I rate a product. These lanterns deliver. They are light and bright. There are others on the market that are less expensive. I decided to purchase these because they were plastic. The base and the body were not damaged. The batteries seem to last a long time. If you lock your eyes on them, they will be bright enough to make your vision blurry. At $7. I feel like I have great value for the dollar. Some of the brands with metal bases were reviewed and commented on, and they were found to be rusting up after contact with water.

Lifetime warranty with 100% satisfaction and zero hassle returns are guaranteed. 100% satisfaction is their first priority as a senior manufacturer.
👤The mini folding shovel should be the FullLit folding shovel. The FullLit shovel is larger and better constructed than the other one. The way the head of the shovel is attached to the swivel joint is the main thing. The FullLit shovel is half the size, but still very compact. The shovel blade can be turned 90 as a light duty pick, or it can be used as a shovel, with an edge that is sharper on the one side. There is a The price is the same. This is the shovel you are looking for if you want a military style collapsible shovel.
👤It is a good item to have in your vehicle when you need it. This foldup compact shovel is for you. It worked great for the task at hand when I had to use mine. It stays locked in position. It is strong for its size. You should get one before you need it.
👤A great piece in a pinch. Small, lightweight, seems to last. The shovel is great for keeping in your car. It is easy to carry. Light weight. I don't want to use it for hard manual labor or sub it out for a full size shovel. It's a good quality piece for the price. Pros- light. It folds up nicely. There is a case. The handle is plastic. I'm not sure how well the locking mechanism would work, so it's a com. It's more of a mystery to them.
👤The joint between the handle and shovel was rusted when I took it out to use. There is a The shovel we use for camping seems to be very strong. It is easy to open. I like the way it folds up. I will give this one to my son and buy another one for myself.
👤The handle is plastic, but it seems sturdy.
👤A high quality shovel. Light and durable.
👤I use this for metal detecting when I need to dig deeper. I can easily fit this into my backpack as it folds up and unfolds, just as easily. When it's unfolded, it twists to tighten so it doesn't fold up. If need be, this can be used as an axe in a survival situation. I highly recommend this thing, it is sturdy and folds up small.
You can relax knowing that you have the tools you need for survival with an EFE kit. TrekDry material with MultiCam camouflage helps keep hands cool. A secure fit is provided by the hook and loop closure. A seamless single layer palm provides maximum dexterity. Convenient glove storage is provided by a nylon web loop.
👤I was expecting them to last a long time after the rave reviews, but they will fall apart in 3 months. There are holes on the pads of the fingers. I'm starting to believe that it's safer to buy name brand products directly from the company site than it is to buy them through Amazon. It's easy for counterfeit products to find their way into shopping carts since there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to make sure the products are genuine. I've been buying stuff from Amazon for decades and will continue to do so. I think I'll stick to generic non-name brand items.
👤Amazon is allowing the sale of counterfeit products. The product did not match the item picture and when compared to the pair of mechanic gloves I own, they are of lesser quality and have glaring deficiencies. It appeared that the price was good to be true.
👤I've bought these gloves before for work. I like to carry a pair of gloves for the occasional work that isn't appropriate for thin latex gloves. I've gone through too many for it to be worth buying more. The first pair wore through the fingertips on a couple fingers of each glove for a year. My last pair was less than a year old. I was fighting with someone while wearing gloves. They grabbed my hand. The glove ripped in half when I pulled it back. I lost the glove in the fight. I needed the gloves for protection from my hands. If the glove was still on my hand, I would not have sustained a small injury to my hand. I don't use unreliable equipment at work and these are both. It's the same thing. I've lost my faith in these gloves to hold up to abuse. They are comfortable and easy to wear, but I think you are paying for the "cool factor" rather than quality. I can't justify buying another pair that won't last.
👤These are the most basic gloves that Mechanix makes. This one didn't do it for me, I really like a lot of the Mechanix designs. You can get a pair of similar designed Hardy's that are better stitched inside for less than six dollars. I don't think I'll buy another pair of these. I want to try the high dexterity version of the same design to see if it can be used to justify the cost. I think I know, but I like Mechanix Wear so much that I'm willing to give them a try. Some of their line has been more admirable than others. The first pair of these I ordered was from a third party vendor. The name probably discouraged me, like a Chinese company would come up with. They had a slightly better price than Amazon at the time, but they didn't state there was anything different about their gloves or what was advertised in the listing. Since the order was still being fulfilled, I was confident that I would be protected. I had no reason to doubt the authenticity of the gloves because I hadn't seen many reports of them being sold as fakes. I heard an alarm when I tried them on. I had tried on other gloves in stores and they were more comfortable. The cheapness of the Velcro made it feel like it wouldn't last long. A small amount of research. The gloves didn't seem to have the TrekDry material or the hook and loop. There were several seams that were single stitched and shown to be double stitched in the picture. The thermal plastic rubber clasp was different. I didn't want to accuse the vendor of selling fakes. This was the first pair of gloves I'd ever purchased. The customer support I contacted was very accommodating. I sent their support email pictures of what I received and they said that the gloves looked like an old version of the glove that they hadn't produced in a long time. They offered to exchange them for another pair, with a pre-paid return label, I received from Greatest Buys. The offer was generous. I took a picture of the glove that I received side-by-side with their updated version, which looks similar to the one pictured on Amazon. The upgraded version of the glove was much more comfortable than the older version, which I was worried would cause some soreness after a few hours of moderate activity. Less prominent seams meant more dexterity. The gloves are less warm thanks to the TrekDry. The older model didn't have a prominent hook and loop feature as advertised. The older version of the rubber closure had the cheap plasticy Velcro that others had complained about losing its stickiness quickly. I am pretty sure these would have failed in the same way after opening and closing them a few times. I don't think the older version would have been more durable, but I did see something about it that made me think it might last longer. The newer model is more comfortable than the older one. I'll probably stick with Hardy next time, unless they make me convert. I don't have to worry about changing gloves every time I switch to an activity that might be too hard because I can get a more comfortable glove for only four to six bucks. When it blows out, I can toss it and use the Mechanix Mpact line for activities that merit that type of protection. I'm starting to like Ironclad for impact gloves. I'm finding differences between some models. Their gloves are usually good enough. Some of their work isn't cutting it. The 4x material doesn't feel like it's any thicker than the standard ones. They need a lot of breakin before they stop cutting into your palm and fingers. I think they're loosened up, not that they were tight. I tried a size too large for me and it hurt the same, despite being baggy. Ironclad's Impact line is always as comfortable as they get, even though I think Mechanix is slightly tougher on the outside than Ironclad. The newest version is on the right side. The palm and glove are pictured.
It's accessible. This compass can be easily carried with a carrying bag and lanyard. Their pack of light sticks has yellows colors, a bonus emergency blanket, and a survival whistle. Individually packaged. When electric light isn't an option, long-lasting foliage provide high light output for 12 hours at a time to help you get the job done. The level of durability found in competitor light sticks is not found in Industrial-GRADE STICK CONSTRUCTION. These green light sticks are perfect for parties, equestrians, and other activities. You will be amazed at how useful they are. You can give them to your child for their party or take them fishing or hunting. Love their light sticks or your money back, no questions asked, just a prompt, courteous refund. They sell only the highest quality products that are built to last because you need outdoor gear that's as tough as you are. They will give you the best in the industry.
👤Break downs alert people.
👤The glow sticks should be classified as a toy. Within 2 hours they were a third of the original brightness. There is a faint glow that can only be seen in the dark rooms. - There are no dates on the packaging. The glow sticks come with a silver emergency blanket and an orange survival whistle. The silver emergency blanket is a standard reflective blanket that would work well in any emergency or first aid kit. I am very disappointed in the quality of the Survival Whistle. The compass doesn't work. It is impossible for a spark to reach any tinder because the small fire strikers is so far up the plastic handle. The rubber ring is waterproof. Even with a shallow breath, the whistle is loud. - The glow sticks and accessories are not worth the price. I can not recommend. General Medi glow sticks are reviewed.
👤My teen son broke one of the glow sticks after being assigned to test it out. The glow stick was relatively bright outside and even though it was giving off light in our kitchen, I could see it was creating shadows for nearby objects. I checked to see if it was still glowing when I woke up. The glow stick lasted 12 hours, but the brightness went down quickly and I had to put it under my desk to see if it was still glowing. If I were using this during a power outage, there would be a lot of ambient light and the glowstick could be used for reading. In the case of an emergency, you probably won't need the glow stick for a full 12 hours. As I thought about how I would use it, I would probably start it at dusk to complete any tasks I needed to do, then as the evening wore on, I would need less light. In the middle of the night, my eyes would be adjusted and I could only look around or check my watch.
👤I like how they have the string with each glowstick. The orange survival whistle is the same one I had back in the 80's, I added some matches and put them in my backpack because I thought it was a bonus. These glowsticks are recommended by me. You can see pictures and video. I give this product a 5-star rating. This review is helpful.
👤This is a nice little kit for emergencies at home or on the road. The glowsticks are bright and are perfect for home use. I keep a few in the car in case I have to pull over. They stay bright for the first few hours, but then they start to lose their brightness. The kit comes with a whistle, compass, and emergency blanket. If you're stuck somewhere, this could be useful.
👤In case of an emergency, I needed something for light. They are perfect for an emergency. It is easy to use and can be used many times. I put these in my home emergency kit and vehicle emergency kit. It's easy to store. The kit comes with an emergency whistle and an emergency blanket. Good product for emergencies or other needs.
There areDEAL outdoor accessories. The Stanley cook kit is a great gift for anyone who likes to cook outside. TheTILE HANDLE: The locking handle folds over the lid to save space and it was designed to provide maximum comfort and stability while it's on the stove. There are two types of durable and BPA-free. The entire kit is made with no harmful materials and features two insulated portable 10oz/ 295mL cups to enjoy hot and cold beverages. The design is light. The mess kit with cups is only 7oz and it is travel and backpack friendly. The marks on the kettle went up to 20oz.
👤The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is a staple in the camping/backpacking world and is overlooked by the ultra lighters out there. I believe that you have two safe choices of metal in camping cookware: titanium orstainless steel. There is a chance that there is a link between Alzheimer's and the use of anodized aluminum. It is inexpensive but heavy. Titanium is light and expensive. The Stanley is great for me, as I don't mind the weight. I put my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil in the plastic cups that come with it, instead of tossing them in the trash. I use a GSI cup with the Stanley. The lid for the Stanley is perfect for the GSI Cup. The attention to detail on the Stanley is amazing, considering pots that are more expensive don't usually have the perks that the Stanley does. The plastic flip-up finger handle stays up perfectly on its own. The lid has drain holes. There are not marked on the inside of the measurement. The marks are stamped so you can still see them from the inside. No big deal. When the handle is locked into its folded position, it acts as a firm/reliable closing. The Stanley is a great product at a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.
👤The little cook pot is a happy find for me. I like that it's not aluminum. The graduations stamped on the side are very useful. I don't keep the two plastic cups in the pot as they take up a lot of room that I choose to use for other things. When the handle is closed, it provides a positive holding mechanism for the lid. The pot is folded into a cup. I put the paper coffee filters between the pot and cup to cut down on rattling. The paper filters can be used as a pre-filter for a water purification kit.
👤You need a way to boil water and cook food if you like hiking and backpacking. The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is for camping. This is one of the best cook sets out there. It is made of 18/8 steel which won't rust on you and is easy to clean with a scrub pad or sand from a creek or lake shore. There are holes in the lid that allow you to easily drain water if you need to. All for about $13,000. The value is great.
👤I use a fuel canister with this for my cook system. The stove is inside the mugs. I backpack in the Midwest and the West, and haven't found anything I don't like. Stores are easy to clean. I've cooked next to people with systems that cost 10x as much and we'll eat at the same time, and will share the trail again in the morning, and this is definitely not worth 10x less than what they paid! I don't remember weight off hand, but it's an extremely good value for a recreational outdoorsman. It's a good, low-risk kit. I've used it for car camping for oatmeal and coffee. The picture is from open fire cooking. The picture is from a 5-star destination. Take care!

👤This is one page and it is folded up to be a pocket size. Many important things had to be so compressed that a person with no knowledge or even a little survival knowledge will not have enough basic information in several areas that are covered but not well enough to be useful. It is just one page folded up. The additional info that you can find is helpful, but sometimes in some of the apps the video or info is not as complete or as well produced as it could be, and it may not be available to look at when you need it. Being prepared for an emergency is serious. It is great that you are looking for information to be prepared. If you want to buy the necessary equipment for your home and car, you should buy a full and complete Survival book. Is this page better than nothing? .... Yes... If you buy this, you will think you are prepared, but you will not buy a full and well written survival book.
👤This is one of the dumbest things I have ever bought on Amazon. The idea of a pocket-sized survival book is a great one, but one of the first things it says is that you need to carry things with you and not depend on electronics, and the entire guide is full of QR Codes for you to use your phone. It's even more stupid that they lead you to the internet. The diagrams on how to set traps, gut a fish, and tell what different tracks are all useful to look at, but they could be better described in a book. The details are so small that you can't really understand what is happening, and everything is so simple that you can just remember the information. One thing I read that made me want to write this review was that at the end of the "Worst Case Scenario" section, it says that one of the essentials to check off, following a gas mask, is a Bible. I don't know if that is put in as a joke. I understand that people are religious, but the fact that you had to add this to a manual small enough to fit in your pocket is ridiculous. This was the dumbest thing I have ever read, and I have nothing against religion. Don't waste money. You can buy a survival guide. I only give it a star because it does some of what it tells you, but nothing else you wouldn't find in a basic survival guide.
👤The product is resistant to water and tear and has good information. It was possible to put a hole in it accidentally. The water resistance is pretty good. All this info can be found online for free. I don't think 10 bucks is worth it.
👤I like this guide. I can't believe the amount of information in this manual. It's better than most survival books that are full sized. I give away survival kits as gifts to my family members, and this guide is going into every one of them. I notice something new when I look at it. The authors teach the skills in more depth in the videos that you can find with the QR codes. The value is not ordinary. If I choose, I can use the magnifying lens to start a fire. The guide went into my wallet and replaced the $10 I spent for it.
