Brand: Kissmi

👤These were bought to put in bug-out bags and give to friends and family during the Pandemic. The buy is worth a lot. Twice as many for the same price as other listings. The product is the same. Each came individually wrapped and was great for gift giving. Would buy again.

👤We are outside. I gave a few to my friends. I like knowing that my kids have a whistle if they stray away from the trails or wreck on the trail and need help. The toy is supposed to burn down the house. It was Kidding. It does spark, but not the greatest. If you need to be, the compass will get you in the right direction. They are too large. They would fit the Giant. I always carry a gear pack.

👤I bought them for our camping trip. The kids loved them. They are larger for their wrists and can be clipped to a belt loop. It was nice to give them a whistle in the woods. Don't start a fire with them. Make a few sparks.

👤They are great. A small amount on the larger side. They fit the 13 year olds perfectly. The ferro rods are easy to understand once you get used to them. Don't be too aggressive or the rods will slip out. They are a great value if they are not.

👤I've ordered these before. We love giving them to Scouts because they have a couple of their required emergency supplies built right in. The Scouts will receive these for their upcoming adventure.

👤The leaders wanted them as end of year gifts, so they gave them a great bracelet. Kids will clip on a belt loop or backpack until they fit.

👤The teen boys were impressed with these. A hit for a group.

👤The quality was better than I expected. Cool colors too. The sparks will fly when you remove the black coating from the ferro rod. Before using the compass, remove the bracelet. Would purchase again.

It is possible to carry your Bug Out Bag, clipped with a carabiner or secured to your MOLLE system.

Brand: Tricorne

👤This is the best product I have ever owned. It is very well made, and it is solid. Make sure you read the description and visit their website to view their video on this wonderful tool. Everything about it. I added a few pictures. One shows you what the razor blade looks like with the blade out, two shows the lighter size and how it fits, and a third shows you that wrapping 200 feet around the product doesn't look pretty at all. A big fat paracord bomb is what it is. I wanted to know what it looked like when you wrapped 200 instead of 100 feet of paracord. You don't have to do it on your own. It makes a huge difference if you wrap it tight. The difference that actually matters is the use of 550 cord, not 750 cord. Don't forget to watch the video. Hope this helps.

👤Are you looking for a simple tool that can handle 50-75' of paracord and has a cutter and lighter holder? Look no further. Pay the price once and you're done. If you searched for this item, you also have an entire bag of stuff you only intend to use in a bad situation. Go bag, bugout bag, everyday possibles pouch - call it what you want. That's why you are here. Don't worry about the price because you already know you want to be prepared, just put it in the cart. If you use it once in a pinch, you won't care about the price. You may be using some rewards points from your credit card, because your wife is always chasing you when you buy something for your bag.

👤I love this product so much that I had to write a review. Great at organizing cords. This product is designed for para cord but can fit anything. It can be used to hold 50 yards of paracord when backpacking. It has a built-in cutter and storage for later if you ever need to cut your cordage. If this review was helpful, please let me know by clicking theHelpful button.

👤At the time, the spool tool seemed like a good idea. If you carry a knife and lighter, you don't need to cut or seal paracord. I can't recommend this for camping and survival tools. I will give the product two stars because it is durable and can be used other than hiking and camping.

👤I bought my first one three years ago. Paracord is good to have available for those just-in-case scenarios, and the Spool tool is a great way to keep it handy and cut it, and with the addition of a Mini Bic lighter a way to keep the ends from fraying. I've used one while camping, and it doesn't add much to a backpack. This is a great way to organize things if you are carrying some cordage.

👤The description or Q&A response give the right size for the actual unit. It's hard to see. The Bug Out Bag is too large even with thinner Dyneema cord or guy line cord to backpack or trek with. If you want to spool Titan's SurvivorCord, you should use 50' to 75' of standard diameter paracord. It's a good idea to have the mini BIC, but you should check the gas level occasionally to make sure you have enough fuel. It zips apart on standard paracord. If they had one of these down-sized for guy-line cordage. I would love it.

3. Last Man Survival Paracord 7 5 Inch

Last Man Survival Paracord 7 5 Inch

A premium 16 piece survival kit is inside a paracord bracelet. Pick your style and color. There is a variety of colors available with and without COMPASS. Pick your size and the bracelet will fit your wrist comfortably. A small bracelet is comfortable for wrists of 6-7 inches. FEEL CONFIDENT: The Ultimate Paracord Survival Kit Bracelet by LAST MAN gives you the resources you need to survive. BUY NOW and be confident wherever you go. Please note. The surgical kit is contained inside the scalpel and will not be received as a separate item.

Brand: Last Man

👤The bracelet is made of paracord. The small compass that I bought works the same as any other small compass, but you may have to jiggle it to get it to find its bearings, but it finds north every time. The fire starter rod and strikers are easy to work with. I didn't have to open the bracelet to use it. The survival gear is neatly organized into a bundle and placed in a plastic container or bag that is woven inside the bracelet. The contents of the bag can't be seen when wearing the bracelet. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the bracelet size is accurate. It is easy to put on, but it is a bit bulky and not flexible. It can be difficult to get fishing hooks and sinkers to mold perfectly around your wrist because of the survival tools contained in the bracelet. All you have to do is turn the bracelet until you find a comfortable fit. Not the type of bracelet you'd wear for looks in an urban setting, but certainly the type of bracelet you'd wear and want to have with you while camping, on a trail or in a survival situation. You can hang it off of a belt loop if you don't like wearing paracord bracelets. The closing mechanism does not come loose after I shook it around and hung it on my bag. A small guide with instructions on how to use the bracelet is included with the bracelet. The instructions were included in a fantastic detail by Last Man. The bracelet was in perfect shape. The product by Last Man Survival gear is very well-thought-out. I received this product in exchange for a review, so I am not responsible for that.

👤Even though I don't think anyone in my family will ever need this, I had to have it because I was given the chance to purchase it at a discounted rate. Even if it's a novelty item. Who knows? In case of an emergency, everything included could be used. I plan to take this with me on those excursions. I tried it on a young child. It was big. I tried it on my husband and it fit perfectly. Even though my son can't wear it on his wrist, he is excited about it. I'll let him take ownership of it, and attach it to his backpack. It is packaged in a clear plastic and has an informative insert about how to use it. The model we received was not the one we wanted, but it was what we wanted. The product is very nice.

👤I received this in the mail and thought it was huge. This isn't a bracelet for women or smaller men. I think that will get better as it is worn. The included features are awesome and the bracelet seems to be very high quality. This would be a great gift for any outdoorsy person in your life. Thankfully I can't attest to its life saving abilities, but I would rather be stuck with this than without it. A great gift for the money. I received a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Brand: X-plore Gear

👤If you ever try to find your way anywhere with the compass on this thing, you will face an emergency that is in reference to the word emergency in the title. If my daughter should become separated from us on a hike, I bought it for her to learn survival skills. The compass is off by 180 degrees. Trying to head north will take you to the south. The cord is nice and my daughter loves it. The whistle works well and the flint does its job. I am critical of it because it is being marketed as "The Ultimate Tactical Survival gear" for kids and your compass would do more harm than good if I had just put this on her and sent her off. It is a toy compass, so please fix it or at least put a notice on it that it is not a real compass. My daughter loves it so I'm stuck with it until I find a replacement.

👤The bracelet is pretty solid. The knife/striker is great for when you need a quick way to open a package or cut something that isn't very sharp. After a week or so, the bracelet fits perfectly. So far, so good, here's a few things I've learned that will hopefully help others. It's best to put it through the scanner to make sure the little fire scraper isn't sticking out, it's small but better to not have any sharp looking poking out. The knife/scraper can pop out of the holster. It's easier to leave the holster. The compass was a big reason for my purchase. I re-magnetize with a neodymium magnet. It was great until I put it back on my wrist. I realized the knife/scraper appears to cause interference when the scraper sits millimeters away. The scraper will make the compass jump around if you remove it. I might have accidentally magnetized the scraper. I can unbuckle the bracelet and hold the compass away from the opposite end. It points north! I don't know if you can demagnetize something, but it might fix it. Hope that helps!

👤This is a 3.5 star for me due to the size information, so it's too bad they don't allow half stars. The photo chart is a good start, but keep in mind that the buckle has components that make it a little longer than most. The "circle" measurement of your wrist is misleading because the buckles don't bend. I went with medium because my wrist is a little under 8. If you like a tight watchband, this will be fine for you. The longer buckle makes it nearly impossible to turn it on the wrist because of the looseness. Measure your wrist to see if you like snug or loose. If you have a big wrist, take the buckle off and make your own. It's pretty good. The whistle and compass are good. Unless you cover the hole with your lips, whisltle is loud. My main goal was to have a fire strikers. ferrite rods don't give you perfect out of the box. ferrite rods come with a "paint" like coating on them, so until you get past that you won't get much. Keep trying. There is a lot of hot sparks when you pass the paint. If you think sparks will set a small stick on fire, you should limit your camping to a hotel.

5. Aoneky Static Outdoor Climbing Rappelling

Aoneky Static Outdoor Climbing Rappelling

DIMENSIONS: The inner diameter is 4mm. The outer diameter is 8mm. The length is 54.5 cm. You can trim the active length to fit your needs. The "sweet spot" is a factor of 5. If your draw length is 80 cm, you may want to cut your bands to 16 cm. The last picture shows how to measure your draw length. The high quality material is very strong and rot and tear resistant. The rope is safe enough to do any outdoor activity. It is very compact to carry and can be rolled up to a small part. The length of the ropes is shown in feet. They are great for climbing, camping, hiking, fishing, caving, engineering, expansion, and for pets.

Brand: Aoneky

👤The product I used to hold me in a tree broke and made me fall.

👤I bought it to climb the trees in the back yard. The rope was around the tree limbs rubbing back and forth and there was no apparent rope damage. My upper body is not strong so I designed two prusics, one for my foot and one for my hands. The plastic eye loop guards broke off quickly, not sure if they were intentional.

👤It's price is quite good. I climbed a couple trees to trim my weight. It worked for me, but when I saw more expensive rope, it looked a little bit toy-ish. I need to bend it a lot to get the flexibility back after climbing this one. I have more trees to do, so I'm going to get more rope. I don't know how long this one will last. This one did what was claimed.

👤Love the rope. It was used to take down a maple. I have three. I use one to pull the chainsaw up, another as a lifeline or pull line, and another for the same or for use in a 3&3 snatch block system. It has done better than its price point. I put a lot of tension on the pulley and it shows no wear. It has rubbed against the bark of the trees. A 50ish lbs maple limb was caught by it. Not all of my ropes are these. Lowe's has 1/2 diamond braided polypropylene ropes. They're pretty good but not as strong as the ropes from Aoneky. It's probably a joke if you don't get anything more than that from your local hardware store. Go with the rope. You will not regret it.

👤I wish they would have left out the loop end and just produced a rope with both ends loose. I would rather have a knot in a bight of rope than a cute and elaborate sewing process. I can use it to hang a weight from, and put some tension in the rope, but I haven't cut off that end yet.

👤Quality rope that is heavy duty and durable. I used a safety harness to work on a steep roof. I am still here, did it work? It's a good recommendation!

👤Why do a few makers of static ropes put in 2 heavy biners that are so sharp that they cut the rope every time you pass it through? I would rather buy rope and cut the cost. I don't have money for name brand ropes, so I don't know the Kn values, but they must be high. I would like to see the values printed somewhere. I can only say it looks and feels good, and that it has been drawn to theUIAA's attention that an increasing number of online retailers are selling products falsely bearing theUIAA Safety Label. I hope it is.

👤This has been used as fall protection in tree stands. It works well for the job. The snap ring looks like something you'd buy at a hardware store. We use it on the bitter end as an easy way to attach gear for hauling up. I'm glad I bought this.

6. ATOMIC BEAR Paracord Bracelet Pack

ATOMIC BEAR Paracord Bracelet Pack

The design is light. The mess kit with cups is only 7oz and it is travel and backpack friendly. The marks on the kettle went up to 20oz. The survival gear essentials are in one bracelet, and you can be ready to survive without a backpack. Unlike other options, the Cobra bracelet is able to fit small and big wrists. The bracelet adjusts from 8 to 10. A perfect gift for an outdoor enthusiast. Did you know that cold is the leading cause of death? Beat the numbers. In an emergency, use the flint steel to start a fire and the paracord to protect the shelter. Add the cobra to your tactical gear or wear it when hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. There is a pack of 2 bracelets, one black and one orange+black. There are instructions on how to make a fire. Buy now.

Brand: The Atomic Bear

👤I am blind. I camp in the wilderness where there is no cell signal, hospital or anything else. I wouldn't even try and go by myself, I'm not insane enough to do that. I found the compass, whistle, emergency knife, and fire starter within 2 minutes of opening this up. I can't use a compass. If I need to go west, I can use a compass, but it's not as accurate as a fire starter. I got that coating off and it was a champ. There is a One side of the clips has a small emergency knife and the other side has a fire starter. You just use them. There is a The compass and whistle are built into the clips, so it's all on your wrist. The fire starter may cause interference with the compass because of it's iron content. Simply remove the ends and use the compass. Paracord is enough to make a trap, a shelter and a fishing line. It's nice to have some paracord in case you need to make an emergency stretcher, drag equipment or gather fire wood. I've checked out a lot of similar items that have fishing hooks and other extras but they are usually low quality. A blind man figured it out on his own without help, despite the fire started thing. This is a fantastic item if you are into survival or camp.

👤I read that the compass doesn't work well. The reviews showed that the compass doesn't point North, but I noticed that the bracelet was clipped around the arm of the user. That's the problem. Some people don't understand how a compass works. The magnetic compass is next to the metal fire strikers when the bracelet is clipped together. The metal strikers cause the compass to show incorrect directions. To get the correct direction, unclip the bracelet, lay the compass flat, and keep the compass away from metal. We'll be using these on all of our backpacking trips because everything else about this bracelet works.

👤These are the things I just got. I don't have a lot of time with them. I will update if something changes. I like it for now. The Paracord is adjusted, which is helpful. I have small wrists. The strikers is not needed at the moment. The whistle is loud. The compasses work great, and with all the negative reviews pointing that out, it's most important. They should point north. You have to unclip the band for it to work. You can remove the metal piece if you want to wear it as a compass. It's good to have it unclipped. Why make a big deal out of a small thing?

👤You get what you pay for. The decible level of the whistle is surprisingly effective. If you have small wrists, the band may be too large. The compass is fairly accurate, but you weren't expecting it. If you take the bracelet off before checking your heading, it will give you readings that are very bad. The compass will be affected by the magnetized strikers on your wrist. I had to figure out why it was wrong. It's a fun and useful thing to have on your wrist.

7. CrocSee Survival Waterproof Aluminum Starting

CrocSee Survival Waterproof Aluminum Starting

The rope may be random. A single spark will ignite the waterPROOF Wax Natural Hemp cord. It works with any fire starter. The natural hemp cord works in all weather conditions. Fight it and light it. You can twist and separate the fibers of the tinder wick to make it fluffy. Then watch the sparks from the ferro rod. Burn time is more than 60 minutes. The total length is 15/64" The aluminum bellows can be used to snuff out flames. It lasts longer than you think. The black anodized Bellow is PREMIUM. The aluminum alloy bellows is lightweight. It's long enough to keep you away from the flames, but small enough to fit in your pocket. There are 6 x Wax Infused Natural Hemp Cords and 6 x aluminum bellows. The fire starters are not included. You can start a campfire, grill or camping with bayite ferro Rods kits.

Brand: Crocsee

👤Going from the first hint of a flame to a fire can take more work than catching something. If you want to burn all the rope, these cords will burn until it has been consumed, even if they are lit by a ferro rod. I refer to them as the big match because they burn and burn, but unlike a typical match, you can pull the cord back into the tube to extinguish the flame, and the rope is good for another use. The charred end of the ferro rod makes it easier to catch fire when you use it again. I have two items on my belt loop for fire starting, the NexLand FS1 ceramic mini strikers. Bayite ferro rod is 2 inches long. I carry a peanut lighter that is made of brass and has an "O" ring seal that keeps the lighter fluid from dissolving and it will stay that way for years until you actually use the lighter. The ferro rod is not my first choice in lighting fires because it is less competent than the peanut lighter or the butane lighter, but it is easier and faster to just flick a wheel or press. Even if the cord gets wet, they will work. Ditto for the ferro rod.

👤This is a nice long match. One can easily control the size of flame and length of burn by manipulating the cord in and out of the tube. It is easy to pack. It's a good idea to use it to light a gas or alcohol stove. Don't expect this to be easy to light using only flint and steel. It doesn't take a low temperature spark alone. If you want to use only flint and steel, this tool won't work, but if you want to use char cloth, you can blow it to flame. This works well with a ferro rod. It ignites pretty easily with the end fluffed. The octagonal tube is easy to hold. If the flame is long lasting, it can get hot. I wouldn't try to use it as a bellows, as your head can get too close to the fire. Is it worth buying? Your choice. It is a nice addition to a fire kit, but it isn't necessary.

👤Jute was stiff but flexible out of the box. It's the fuel. One end is out of an inch. First, I kissed the end with my fingers, then with my folder. It didn't have a flame at first, but was showered with sparks from my ferro rod. I slowed down and threw a few sparks. It produced a great flame. It was easy to hold and not to leave until I wanted it to. It snuffs by pulling the tube back. The charred end was kept in place and relit the next day. Frayed the end again with my folder and threw a few easy sparks. It lit up. I wouldn't use this as a shout out. If you hold the flame for a long time, the tube can heat up. I will carry one in my packs and car.

8. Paracord Spool Earth Holds Parachute

Paracord Spool Earth Holds Parachute

Ferro Rod x1, Multifuction Serrated Knife x1,Survival Cord x1, is a self-contained survival kit. Made in the USA, the nylon is super tough and will last a lifetime. Also included: A replacement blade, 8 multi-sized fusing notches, and an integrated MINI BIC Lighter retention system are included. SECURED: The hatch and blade are secured with a spare set of 2 Hatch nuts and screws. The stores have 100 feet of perimeter. What good is that paracord if it is a mess? It is possible to carry your Bug Out Bag, clipped with a carabiner or secured to your MOLLE system.

Brand: Tricorne

👤I am very happy with this spool. It will wind 100 feet of paracord. A small football is being formed. I put this in my truck. For my backpack, I roll 50-75 feet. The BIC lighter holder holds the lighter nice and firm without any wiggle and the cutter is sharp. Good quality.

👤This thing is amazing. I ordered one to see if it was worth the hype. I ordered 4 more. If you wrap it quickly, it will hold 100ft of paracord. The razor blade cuts through butter. The Mini-Bic has perfect claws. It is difficult to get the cord in the slot because the slots are a bit larger.

👤I really like it. It's very strong. The lighter holder is a bonus. The lighter will not leak because of the block. I would buy this again.

👤I am giving this a full five stars because I am not a whiner. The only problem was with the casting. It is a good piece of kit and can be easily taken care of with an old file. I ordered a second unit.

👤The works were able to wrap many yards of milspec cord onto the tool. I attached a small lighter. I have used it to cut cord several times and used the lighter to burn the ends. Would buy again.

👤A very good product that costs a little but is functional. Would buy again.

👤Any tool kit has great additions. This will be useful if you use paracord.

👤It took a while to find a lighter that fit.

9. Toughest Ultralight Emergency Year Round Protection

Toughest Ultralight Emergency Year Round Protection

Two safety light sticks in case of an emergency. This emergency bag has two safety light sticks. There is a survival gear for hunting, boating, workplace, camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, travel, home. The DDITW Survival Tent is the toughest wilderness emergency tent on Earth, it is compact and light enough to fit two adults. Mylar is waterproof and reflects up to 90% of body heat for year-round protection against cold, wet, or hot weather. It's your words, not ours, that's what "ABSOLUTE" means. The extra-thick HeatFlex mylar is more flexible and tear resistant than the ordinary space blanket mylar. This tent is made of paracord and reinforced tape and can be used outdoors. The balance of weight and durability is only 8.5 ounces. Simply run the paracord through the tent and tie it up between the trees. Climb in using rocks or gear. If there is no trees around, the mylar tube tent can be used as an emergency sleeping bag. Emergency shelters are cheap and flimsy for one time use. They tested and designed every detail of the shelter to make sure it was reliable. In your car, survival kit, first aid kit, bug out bag, zombie survival kit, nuclear survival kit, earthquake kit, and backpacks, there are emergency tents. You won't find a better mylar tent anywhere. It is guaranteed. They donate a percentage of profits to help protect the wild places they love.

Brand: Don't Die In The Woods

👤It started raining when I used this as a last resort. The tent is just an emergency blanket. Parachord became a reflective carpet after it was ripped out by the wind. I was bitter about it. This brand will never be used again. Sad. I was excited to have it on me. I need to look at better options.

👤The package is big and comes with Parachord. I don't think this tent is the toughest survival tent. The material is made from cheap plastic. It feels like wrapping paper in your hands. The tent is so thin that winds could blow it away from Kansas. The material is very thin. It is possible to keep water out or block the sun, but it is also possible to use it in a storm or a day with wind gusts. I bought it because it was on a lightening deal. I would use this as a last resort. Walmart has a small Coleman tent.

👤Initial thoughts are that the product is a one or two time use product. The Mylar space blanket is orange on one side. I am not sure if it would hold up in a storm or rough ground.

👤Imagine a very thin blanket. There is only a cheap camo print on one side. I don't think it would last the hike out in my pack if it was being used as a tarp.

👤I'm a little disappointed in this. The tent is just a mylar triangle. It's probably more durable than the average, but it's still rather flimsy for an emergency tent. There is no way to put it on the bottom. The photos are all photoshopped so they show it all nice and rigid with two happy faces smiling out of it. It sits on the ground. If you find two trees, you can stretch the single rope between, but if you have no wind, you'll be fine. Don't know. I was expecting more from it. If it saves your life in a pinch, it will do.

👤This was bought to keep gear dry. There was no way to stake corners down.

👤After a storm held us up while we were on the wrong side of a ridge walk, we needed this one night. We decided to sleep for a few hours after we descended. The head and foot section were taut with my trekking poles. The silver one on the right in my picture would have looked like that. It was wide enough for me and my dog. It would have been very tight if it had been 2 people. It is lightweight and durable. I folded it up and put it back in the pouch, but it probably only has one more use in it.

👤I bought one for my boyfriend and one for another couple who enjoy hiking. We take it with us on every hike to be safe. Yeah, ya know. We don't die in the woods. It's a great addition to a survival kit.

10. MSR Shock Cord Replacement Kit

MSR Shock Cord Replacement Kit

The key rings and buckles can be used to make a variety of accessories. The package is 12.953 cm long. The package width is 12.7 cm. The package is 2.286 cm. The product is outdoor rejuvenation.

Brand: Msr

👤We had the cord left over. You can tie one end of the cord to the existing shock cord and pull the other through the pole. It will save you a lot of time.

👤I was going to purchase this product instead of the generic bulk shock cord spools on Amazon because of the price. I picked this product because of the reviews and the recommendation fromMSR. After installing my pole set for my tent, I was very impressed with this. This is better than new. I have been dealing with degrading shock cords for the past couple of seasons and I feel great about the product. The cords were suggested to have a 35% stretch on them. Take the pole length and divide it by 0.35 to stretch it out. The poles snapped together nicely, not much of an exact science.

👤The elastic of my shock cord wasn't as elastic as it should have been during the dry winter. The tent held for the night, but the inner cord of the poles needed to be replaced. I decided to repair the pole myself because of the long wait for repairs atMSR. One shock cord and one clamp is what the package is. There is plenty of cord to spare for all the sections in my Hubba NX text. The videos show how to replace the shock cords. You can tie a knot with scissors. A lighter, masking tape and a pen are optional. It was easy and done in 30 minutes.

👤This is larger than the original tent poles that REI put in. It's better than the original stuff. I made hog rings out of paper clips because there wasn't enough room to tie knots. I should have left a longer service loop so that the loop end wouldn't get caught on the tube when taking it apart.

👤I think this cord will do the job, but I haven't been to the wilderness yet. Since it was my first time to replace a tent pole cord, I didn't stretch very taut. The cord wouldn't start to loose elasticity at first. After my first setup, I might need to tighten a little more. The cord is thicker than what was installed.

👤We followed the instructions and were able to replace the shock cord on my tent. You would think the polls would last longer than a year. The last cord that came in the tent polls was the last cord.

👤I bought this product from the store to replace the shock cords. The cords were easy to install and the clip was helpful. Within an hour, I finished the task. I thought that I could have bought other brands which would have cost less, as it was so easy to finish the replacement. This is a good product.

👤It took about 30 minutes to lay everything out and replace the cord, the product is good and will update review as we use the new cord.

👤Beachtet beim zerlegen beachten.

Brand: Go Time Gear

👤I add one of the tents to my back pack because I am a member of CERT. My son came upon a wreck. I only had one emergency blanket. There were two people in one car and one in the other. The tent was used to keep the man warm. I need to order 2 more soon. Thank you.

👤I would like to point out how lite this is. It is almost completely weightless in my hand. Very happy with that aspect. It is not true that it is durable enough for multiple use. The product is done. It stretches to the point of wrinkling into worthlessness. When stretched, it gets very thin. I can't imagine setting it up and rolling it around on the inside with no cushion between you and the hard ground would make this fabric mangle over night. That being said. It is an emergency option. I want it to work once. I would buy a new one if I ever needed it. The stuff sack is very large for me. I bought the tent and bivi from a life tent. There was enough room for an Altoids tin fire kit in the stuff sack. This gives you shelter, warmth and fire. Also allows you to cook food with a metal cup and ward off unwanted guests at night. I think it is a great product. This is a one time use, save your life product.

👤If you put a trash bag or two into a bag, it would be better. The cheapest products were high quality. This is for people who want a false sense of security and never look at the products they buy. I would steer clear of it.

👤This is a sheet of plastic that is thinner than mylar and has a piece of string added to it. It is in a pouch. If you really want one of these, you can either buy a piece of string or a sheet of mylar and make one yourself.

👤I was under the impression that this would be a higher quality material. It isn't the case. The tent is just as thin and frail as a standard blanket. I should have spent more money on a nicer one. It comes with rope and it will keep me warm.

👤I haven't had to use this, and I hope that I don't have to in the future. It is a great addition to a camping bag. It would be great to have a taping off so that it can keep wind out.

👤My son and I were so excited to purchase this tent in case of an emergency that it would save our lives. We went to the woods to set up our tent after we received our package. There was a light breeze that day and the tent was blowing and whipping around. After some work, we were able to set up our tent. I noticed a puncture hole in the side of my tent as I entered the tent to see how warm it would be. I stuck my finger in the hole to see if it was a hole, because on the product information on the website it says the tent is impervious to puncture and tear. My finger went through the hole and became even bigger. The tent is very thin. You can see the black bear coming when he runs out of the woods. We know about the dangers of wild life because we live in the woods. When we set up this tent, the wind blew it up into some trees and it looked like a garbage bag had fallen into the tree branches. I think it would be better if you wrapped yourself in a garbage bag and just bought a tent to keep you warm. This is not a real emergency tent, it is a tent that you can set up in your backyard for your daughter to use as a shade from the sun at her tea party. The tent would make a good welcome mat at the front door so guests can wipe their shoes off before entering. If the ship got into a disaster, the tent would be a good emergency flag. If you were on a long family vacation and couldn't find a restroom, this tent would be better used as a pair of emergency pants. If you fall off of your cruise ship vacation raft, it would be a great emergency raft. The tent should be sold as the number one portable on the go emergency sleeping bag/ body bag. Don't die in the woods, remember everyone.
