Brand: Odoland

👤I liked the product and the set was well-packed and ready for camping with my family of four. The non-stick coating on the pot is very vulnerable to scratches, and we noticed it during the camping. We went on to share our meal after a few scratches. We could not see the black stains on the plates. We washed the meal with a sheet of paper towel. We used the paper towel to dry the plates. The black stain came back the next morning, and all of the plates had them. I wiped the stain off with a paper towel and it looked like the picture was attached. The rear side has more of the stain than the edges. I asked the seller what it was. I could just return the set if I didn't like it. I feel I need to write this for others who bought the same set that I did, because I have the same issue. Stop using these for the health of you and your family. I hope the seller can make it right.

👤A camping cookware set is important to me because I love having tea while camping. I was a little off by the price. I cleaned the cookware before I left for my trip, even though it was dirty when it arrived. I thought I missed a set of bowls when I got to the campsite. The plates are manageable. The cups are great for holding heat and the sleeves are great for color coding. The design of the silverware was very pretty. All in all, very happy with this set. I think it was worth the price.

👤We took the set with us to camping after we received it. We are a family of four. It is easy to wash off every piece. The set takes up a lot of space to store. perfect!

👤It's too heavy for backpacking. I like the pot, kettle and pan. The handle is locked to prevent spills. The spoons and forks are not usable. The handles fold up to make the utensils smaller, but they collapse backwards if you put too much pressure on the spoon or fork head. I couldn't scoop peanut butter from a jar or fork sauerkraut from a jar without the utensil snapping in half. The cups are small and the metal gets hot from the food. Half the pack is usable and the other half is a waste. If you're going to backpack with it, make sure you can handle the weight.

👤I used to bring full size dishware from home, but I was tired of using paper and plastic products. If you have less than 4 people, this is a great set to have. My only suggestions would be cookware that has a stirring spoon, spatula, or something similar.

👤This is a small mess kit. The metal is very thin and the non-stick coating is very thin, especially for the most important piece - the flying pan. After making scrambled eggs, I had to soak the pan for hours and then use a plastic pan scraper to remove everything. It's hard to clean. The rest of the kit, especially the tea-pot and the spoons folding and forks, were good. The cups are small, but I can live with that. The kit was a bit overpriced for the quality. It's more like a $30 value.

Brand: Fire-maple

👤I really liked this product. I went out for a few days and this product was great. I decided to try this out because I had friends that used Jetboil and it was a life saver. Why did the 3 star review go down? I thought saving money would be better than buying the name brand because I view this product more as a luxury. But... This product took longer than a jetboil. I am not sure if it is more efficient or less efficient in terms of gas to the other one, but it took me about 10 minutes to heat up some water, whereas the jetboil that I bought to replace it took only a few minutes. A minute is 30 seconds. . If you are trying to save money and time, I would highly recommend this product. Do not tip the product if you go with it. Try to start it on the ground because it will cause flames to shoot out of the sides. It is not a "first time light" in my experience.

👤The replacement unit arrived quickly and there were no apparent issues with it. Similar to similar systems from other manufacturers, it took 4min to boil 1L water. QC is not up to par. See the picture. I'm exchanging for someone else. If exchange lasts, will update review.

👤Works well! I bring this with me to training for coffee and hot water to shave, because I am in the military. Works with jet boil fuel cannisters.

👤The reviews should be read. Don't buy a jetboil. Solid contruction has its own piezo ignition, and it is very quick to boil water. What is not to like? There is a The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I missed a piece. No worries, I was shipped by Amazon. If you flip the burner upside down, you can put a 250 can inside. The bag and the lid are not a problem because the rubber lid barely seals.

👤I was hoping for a jetboil without branding. I have had bad luck so far. I didn't plan on using the broken plastic bowl that was shipped with the device. The biggest flaw with the system is that in some cases it will light the neoprene on fire, even if the wind isn't very strong. Not good. I would like my money back if you were reading this. It was used again this weekend. The stove will no longer be lit. Completely useless.

👤This has worked perfectly for 3 backpacking trips and 2 car camping trips so far this year. I've been using a larger canister of fuel that seems to be more fuel efficient than the one I used with a previous stove. I bought a smaller canister which I can fit inside the bowl and a small wash towel. You have to leave the bowl out of the larger canister. The mesh bag takes a little practice to get things in and out but you have enough room to put the larger fuel canister on top of the lid and keep it in the mesh bag. I haven't tried the largest canisters at Wal-mart. I like the rubber on the handles that fold out, but I am not a fan of them. You have to pour the water out of the little hole if you want to take the lid off after the water has boiled. I like the markings on the inside of the pot, but I would like to see the oz markings. The stove works well and can boil water for two people, I usually fill half way to heat water for food packets and my coffee, but can easily boil enough for two people.

Brand: G4free

👤I am a wilderness backpacker. I was looking for a kit that would not take up a lot of space. My pack always contained a JetBoil, utensils, and Mountain House freeze-dried food. That was a problem. I wouldn't bring a pan or pot with me because they would take up too much space. The kits are pricey, but they are sold byMSR and other brands. I was curious to see how this copycat would perform since this kit is much cheaper than brand name ones. The canister folding stove is the first thing. I don't like using them because they cost so much. JetBoil is my preferred method of heat up. The tea pot contains all the little items, as you can see in the product photos, as well as the pan and both pots. I would suggest putting a liner inside to keep them from scratching the tea pot. They take up the same amount of space as the Alpine pot. The kit is about 2 lbs. Do you know where I'm going? The kit is replacing the folding stove canister and the stowaway pot for $65 and has a few additional items for $37. I don't like the plastic bowls, but the ladle, foldable utensils, and wooden spatula can add a bit of convenience to the trail. The quality of the materials is not as good as brand names, but they are less expensive. The pot pot and tea kettle work as expected since you can't really go wrong boiling water or heating up soup with them, and so my main concern was the frying pan to see whether it would stick. Adding some olive oil to the pan and cooking up some eggs and steak will give it a satisfying sizzle. I would add some water to finish up the leftover sauce after the steak was done. The thing didn't stick. Good! The cleaning of aluminum cookware is a bit more delicate than it is with other cookware. This kit is a great value at a very low price point and should be part of anyone's emergency bag. I highly recommend it. Lighter and better items are available, but they are also more expensive. With this kit, I can cook to my liking without worrying about the price.

👤Fantastic value. The cook kit is very good. Great burner included.

👤I use this set to heat water for coffee, hot chocolate, tea, soup, and other things. My wife and I are on hikes. I can say that it works well for that after using it a few times. It all comes in a small package with a carry bag. The cannister has a stove attached to it. It boiled the kettle full of water in about 5 minutes. The support of the pan is small and unstable, but it works. I use a small lighter instead of the igniter on this one, so be sure to try it. I have not experienced the peeling of the coating in any of the reviews I have read, but I have used it for liquids and not for cooking eggs or anything, so I don't know how "non-stick" it is. I wanted it for heating liquids. The price was good and it works well.

The kit is compact and easy to transport because it has 21 different pieces that can cook meals for small or large groups without taking up too much space. They made their cookware easy to clean because you should spend your time on exploration, not cleaning.

Brand: Stanley

👤I had all the camping gear I needed to keep a family off the grid. It looked like it had survived at least one of those half-lives, so my wife was going to have to do some work to get her out of the hotel. My family is becoming more and more interested in the outdoors. My family went camping, snow/water skiing, and camping as a kid. The beauty of living in Southern California. I have had kids since then and it has slowed down. I still go camping and target shooting. My twin 9-year-olds are in scouts now that they have stopped using the iPad and are outside for the first time. We do other activities after school. It makes for a lot of Amazon shopping and trips to local stores. The boy and girl scout packs are very busy with outdoor activities and my son and daughter meet up 1-2 times a month. Out with the old and in with the new. The bad: 1. Not light. Why is this good? It will last. The pot and pan are heavy duty and make a good balance for the set. 2. This is not a backpacking set. I wanted a family camping set and this is perfect. Everything is large enough to be user-friendly and small enough to be camping friendly. You can add the companion set of 24oz Stanley cups and have a really nice set. Everything was warm on our Coleman stove 6. It's a must when camping 7 that everything is cleaned up easy. I got this as an Amazon warehouse deal and the price was unbeatable. I will have to buy another place setting for my 3-year-old, but for now it's fine. I'm hoping the extra stuff will fit in the pot. Stanley has been around for a long time and they stand behind their products. I don't think they would be the same now. I try to read the comments that are negative because often people are expecting perfection for a discount store price. I will try to answer any questions you have.

👤I will not echo what everyone else has said about the set, the plates are small. There is a sliding piece on the fold-out handle of the pan that is important, and you need to understand that before you use this set. The pan will support its own weight without the lock, so it isn't really known what its importance is through any labels or obvious markings from the manufacturer. If you don't use the lock on that pan, you'll be spending the rest of your 32 degree morning cleaning raw eggs and molten bacon grease off your clothes and gear, and you'll be missing out on a nice warm bacon and egg breakfast. Stanley, thanks for the experience.

👤I paid $80.00 for this set in June. Excellent for car camping. Can be used over a woodfire. The heating function is provided by the thick bottoms of the pots. There are 4 sets of dishes. The handles on the big pot are rounded. The lid is designed to sit on a pot. The smaller pot has a handle that folds out.

👤This was bought for an emergency. It's great to have when you need a survival kit or bug out bag. Hopefully, I won't need to use it. Nice package. It looks like it's better quality than the cheap blankets. It is more expensive but peace of mind is priceless. It's better to have it and not need it.

👤Sturdy but compact. Each car should have one in it.

👤The emergency blanket is small and light. It's easy to carry and fits in my bag. The fabric is strong and durable. I am very happy.

👤I have to give it a 2 because I haven't needed them bought out of fear of a bad winter like my state had last year.

👤There is nothing I don't like about this product. It is worth every cent.

👤I had thought it was larger.

6. Odoland Camping Cookware Lightweight Backpacking

It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.

Brand: Odoland

👤I bought this to go camping. backpacking is similar to motorcycle camping. There is very little space to pack. Take what you need and leave the rest at home. The price for the mess kit with the stove was only a few dollars more than the one for the mess kit without it. I thought it was worth the risk. The mess kit works well. The spoon is a little flimsy. I eat a lot of prepared foods, canned soups, dehydrated food, coffee, and backpacking, so the stove was a surprise. It's heating things up and boiling them. I used the stove for this purpose. A cup of water can be boiled in a few minutes. I wouldn't use it to hold a frying pan for cooking a steak, or to cook an 8 quart pot of birria stew. Don't complain about the small backpacker kit if you want to do that.

👤My son and I hiked the NJ portion of the appalachian trail. Needed a solution for the stove. We only needed to heat up water. This was perfect. Markers on the pots for one cup, two cup, and three cup indicators would make it easier to measure out water.

👤The 220g (8oz) of used Isobutane propane mix was purchased from REI for $7. After messing with it, you found out you need: 1. The flow valve counter says clockwise. Pull the igniter towards the flame while pressing the red button. I used a lighter to ignite it after it didn't work the first time, so I didn't need it again. I don't know if this is common with new stoves or fuel type, but both of these things did the trick on what I thought was a faulty cookware set.

👤One of the great concerns with camping gear is not getting the right thing the first time, and having to purchase another thing that does almost the same thing but does it better. The camping cookware mess kit is for the first time buyer. You can use it for a lot of things. I wish I had bought this before I tried the other camping stove solutions. It started quickly and heated up very quickly. I was impressed. It was great that I could pack it down with the fuel inside. Space saving is important when hiking.

👤The cookware is fantastic. I loved how easy it was to store this backpacking set. It was even easier to travel with the propane in the set. I liked that it came with a microfiber cloth for cleaning, and that the pots were labeled inside for measurement. The spork is flimsy, and I wouldn't use it as your only utensil. The stove was terrible. The top of the stove wouldn't light up when I tried lighting it multiple times. The flame was coming out of a hole on the side of the stove, not heating up the pot, but instead burning a piece of plastic on the stove. It was frustrating. I wouldn't use the stove, but I would recommend this set for the pots. I can't say enough about how frustrating it was.

Brand: Kingcamp

👤This is not for a single person backpacking. It is too heavy for one person to carry. If it is shared between 2, 3, or 4 people, then it is great for backpacking. One person carries the set, another carries the hatchet, and a third carries the small backpacking stove. The two cooking pots are better than I expected. The pan/lid is still good. The metal toxins that are found in aluminum do not affect the health of the person. If only used with a gas stove, the pot handles are convenient. They would quickly burn and melt away over a campfire, which happened to me with a smaller set years ago. The cutlery is cute but not necessary. The cups are worthless. I opened the set and found the larger bowl torn along a fold. The cups are too small. They are too thin to remain upright when holding a hot liquid. They flop around and spill their stuff. I used a thicker set of folding silicone cups that I had on hand.

👤There are bad materials and designs. The bowls were washed after drying. The utensils taste like metal. The bag materials are cheap and flimsy. Not good quality, wouldn't expect more than a few uses. The pan handle has a design defect where it is possible to have half of a meal ejected during use. This looks like other high quality sets, but in my experience those more expensive options don't have the same flaws.

👤The kit works well. The utensils work. It's easy to pack in small spaces. It isn't big enough for more than a couple.

👤A great pot set for hiking. Very light and small. Some of the utensils don't stay together as well as they should. Good luck with scrambled eggs.

👤This isn't a big deal. It works in the most basic ways. It's a convenience to have everything bundled together. The thin tin like metal makes cooking anything from a simple egg messy. Everything stuck to the pans regardless of the oils, because you have no heat control. I wish I had spent more money.

👤The bags have a smell. Otherwise ok. The smell.

👤It seems well made. It should hold up.

👤We bought this set for our camping trip. I was not happy with the size of the plates and bowl. We will be taking other plates as well because I feel like they are tiny. We were able to use the set at the tailgate and have no complaints. We will be using the pot and pan next month and we will be reviewing how easy it is to clean.

Brand: Redcamp

👤It seems to be of good quality and I appreciate all that it has. Is it Sponge? I cut mine in half to get more use out of it, because the pots are small. Having more emergency tools is great. I decided to use the extra space by rolling up some toilet paper without the cardboard tube, packing it in Ziplock, and putting it inside the kit. It was much quieter. I have an extra TP in my bag. Thank you, big fan!

👤I used this for the first time. I was worried that the plastic would not be durable and that it would melt if I used it on a camping stove. It was not an issue. The plastic handles were really nice, they don't transmit the heat, so you don't need a mitt or rag to take it off the camping stove. It may seem like a small thing, but I can tell you that it was a pleasant find. The handles seem impervious to the heat, if that changes, I'll update the review.

👤I've been a camper for 50 years. I've had many cook sets over the years, some better than others. I beat them very hard. There is a I've been using a mixed bag of the old pots for years and it was time for a change. I was looking for a set of pots that were appropriate for camping. The pots are small enough to be used alone on my bicycle trips. It's a perfect size for car camping with a group of friends if you add the 3rd larger pot. They're light, compact and have folding handles on the pots, which eliminates the need to carry and lose a pot grip. There is a The rest of the set includes the plastic bowls and 2 small plates. It was perfect. Good design. Excellent execution. Life is good.

👤The product has been used and they didn't try to clean it. It didn't have all the parts. The customer experience was terrible. My son opened something for Christmas.

👤I was expecting the pots to be a bit bigger, they're really cool for backpacking and camping.

👤It was a gift for my dad and I went to look through it. I bought the expensive one because it was missing pieaces. The spoon fork or knife had the bottom part. There were no plates. I give this place a one star and will never come back to this bussiness. Amazon fixed the issue for me.

👤I bought this for my vehicle's emergency kit. It is light and sturdy. Can't beat the price and Prime shipping. I bought the same kit and it fits the travel fold up stove. I have a family of 5 and this set will hold enough food to feed them all. Can't wait to put it in my car kit.

👤Love it. It has been used on camps and hikes. The bracelet has a firestarter. The handles have not melted in the fire. 5 stars. The packs are small and light.

Brand: Yodo

👤The smaller ones are good for backpacking. The largest pot was my biggest concern and I studied the sets for appropriate size. I was looking for something that would hold four ears of corn or two to four people. This was the perfect size. The price was perfect. The handles are long and easy to hold. This was a great purchase. There are no regrets.

👤I haven't camped since I was a kid. I purchased this set for a number of reasons, one of which is that I wanted a proper cooking set, for full meals for 1+ people, with enough variety that I can cook as I please rather than being limited by certain pan or pot sizes. I didn't want a set that only made tiny meals. I'm not visiting wilderness. I wanted a decent carry bag, but this one is a little tricky to get everything in. I wanted it to be easy to clean. I burned stuff on the bottom of the pan at the extended stay hotel I was staying at, but it cleaned off quickly with just a small amount of scrubbing. I don't usually see pans that easy to clean. Very happy. The folding handles are perfect for saving space and are similar to matryoshka. I have the ability to pick what to take on any trip. If you don't have the pot in the bag or in another pot, they swing around loose, which is my only complaint with the handles. They are easy to use and stay cool. The winner was the cost. I don't think I could have done better for the price. Thanks for a great product! There are plastic dishware, Sponge, etc. I will use some of them. I was happy to read that the bowls can be used as measuring cups. I may or may not bring the other dishware. I will keep the Spatula at home as a backup for my rice cooker spoon. Something will burn me if I use it. I'll be packing a Spatula for the dollar store. The Sponge is cheap and stupid. Ignore it. 5 stars!

👤The set is thought out. The pots are well proportioned and it packs down light. I use a Coleman stove. It is smaller than the larger stove so using the large pot and the frying pan together at once is doable. The folding handles are sturdy, though one improvement would be to lock them together when they are folded out. Sometimes you can hit a handle when cooking and have to pull it out. There is a The hard coating makes them last longer. They are easy to clean and wont stick if you oil them. I wash them, dry them completely and then store them in a pot or pan with a thin coat of oil inside them, and then use them again. I can adjust the heat on the Coleman stove and use a more consistent heat with them. It's another story to use them over an open fire. I am not using mine that way, and can not attest to their performance as such, but kept clean, dry and oiled before and after, and stuffed with cotton scraps between the pots to keep them looking new. There is a The storage is great. They are light. They use less fuel. The plastic bowels and dishes are not a bad thing, as they can be used as serving or snack dishes. Yodo wanted a multi person cooking set that could also serve as a smaller lightweightmess kit, but for my needs, it was a good idea. I will not use the plastic cups or ladles on a solo or kayak trip for cooking. They are a bit small. They are brought along with the large bowel and two plates, which I use to serve food or hold food while cutting up and preparing large dishes, or to hold some chips or snacks, or slices of bread. I prefer camp dishes over plastic and bring a dish and cup from my set on a solo trip. The compact package is impressive, but I won't put wood or plastic in my pots, definitely never metal of any kind! I use pure Silicone utensils around my pots for non scratching attributes. This set is excellent. The quality and ease of use are satisfactory. They take up a small footprint and offer a lot of flexibility. You can make a meal for 4 people. A full can of beans or tomatoes will be heated up by the small pot. It can be used alone for solo camping, will fit in any kayak fore or hatch, and should hold up on a small wood fired bushcraft stove if the heat is managed. It is easy to clean up and cooks well. I like this product and feel like it's a better value than re branded versions, even if they're not as good.

👤This is the best grill ever. I am glad I got the large size. I was able to fit a small cast iron skillet and a kettle with room to spare because it fits over a standard fire ring. You can't directly cook food on this grill, but that's fine with me. The build is very sturdy. The large grill is great for car camping, but not great for backpacking. One of my favorite purchases so far.

👤I love the extra large grill. The size is perfect for cooking over fire pits. I cook on the grill. I washed the grill and used it to cook on it after I turned it upside down to burn off any paint that was going to bubble up. It works well and is holding up well. I've cooked on it at least 15 times.

👤The larger version of this grill has been in my possession for many years. I use this to keep water hot for coffee or to cook a side dish. It is very useful. The grills are best used over coals at the side of the fire. They will age much faster than they hold up, which will cause them to warp and rust. Either condition does not make them useless. Food will come out better when cooked with the "low and slow" option. Your food may be raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. I recommend buying an adjusted height grill or an adjusted rolled iron grill for best results if you want to cook directly on a grill. This is not a grill, it is a grate, and the best way to grill is on a pan.

👤I don't need to wait until Sunday to cook. I do it in the fire place. It fits perfectly and is very useful.

👤Good size for our cast iron skillets and hot water tub. It was showing some wear by the 3rd time we used it. It looks like we have had it for over five years. I made a Kaowool bag with Cordura so it wouldn't get messy. Does the job. You will need a good storage option if you want it to stay in your SUV.

👤GRILLS are made to cook food. This is a grill. Is it not a good idea to put food on it? If a GRILL can't be used forRILLING, it's not worth it. This is not a drill. It is a support stand. I missed the thing called GRILL because I saw the title and didn't know it was not a GRILL.

👤This grill was used for camping in cold weather. I placed the grill over the coals after letting the campfire burn down. The water was boiled in my billy can. It worked well. I wouldn't recommend that, but it works well as a platform for cookware, and the manufacturer says not to cook food directly on it. It's robust and heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than car camping.

👤This is a great set of cookware. The set also included a folding stove. The stove requires you to hold onto the handles. The stove screws onto the cans of fuel. The handles are made of thick rubber to protect against burns. There is a The soup or stew ladle can be put into the smaller bag with the foldable utensils and removed from the spoon section. I use the wooden spurtle to cook from scrambled eggs to pancake or sausage patty. There is a The natural loofah sponge is not recommended to be stored inside. The bag can be used as a wash bin and can be dried out before packing the gear back into the pot and pan.

👤We took this camping and were pretty nervous if it was going to be a small thing. We did not need the additional gear. It came with everything we needed. If you are making food for a family, you would definitely want another one because it made enough food for 2. I wonder if our eggs will end up being pretty sticky after a few uses, because they did stick a little bit. This thing worked perfectly after 2 nights at the campground. It is small and light weight so it made me question the quality. It did well on this trip.

👤We used the cookware set as a gift for our grandad who takes us fishing and camping. We camped by the river last weekend and used the cookware that was in the set to cook some food and catch some fish as we tried to get the last of spring in Arizona. The cookware set is made of a non-toxic aluminum alloy. The set of cutlery is made of 304 STAINLESS STEEL. They are light and easy to clean, making them an excellent choice for outdoor cooking and a gift. It is easy to carry and store in an RV or boat. The portable outdoor cooking set is perfect for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnics, and outdoor adventures.

👤I was worried that the food might stick so I tested this with an egg and thought it would be an egg. It did not stick. I was able to move the pan so the egg wouldn't fall off. I took this entire set with me for camping. I was able to use everything for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The set is easy to clean. It comes with a loofah but I didn't have to use it to clean it. I was able to clean the pot with a soft sponge. The handle that comes with this set can be used for both the pan and pot. I was able to put this in the bag that it came with once I packed away. It is easy to pack away.

👤We found this as a replacement for my camping pot that was ruined. The kit has everything you will need for camp cooking. It comes with a D ring that I like to attach to your bag to free up some storage space. The burner that comes with it is not what I was expecting. I own a similar burner and it burn up after a spark or 2. This one was tried a few times. I will update later, but it could be because the weather has been humid. I used it in my backyard to test the quality before I went camping to scramble some eggs. The wooden spatula is used to avoid hitting the pot. We will see how well it does on a camping trip.
