1. Vont Hurricane Emergency Collapsible Batteries

Vont Hurricane Emergency Collapsible Batteries

A basic first aid kit includes bandages, alcohol pads, wet wipes, and antibiotics. The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC.

Brand: Vont

👤This thing is bright. Like crazy bright. It's like staring into the sun in the middle of the night when you open the sucker. They are not fooling around when they say this is a bright lantern. The only complaint I have is that when you open it, you only get one setting. As the sun or darkness. There is no in-between. It's meant to light up the world, not just your campsite, so you can close it a little to reduce the brightness. I've had mine for a year and haven't changed the batteries. I bring a lantern with me when I go camping in the summer. Everyone else's site is within 10 miles. The lantern is bright. It's great. I plan on using it again. Just as soon as my eyesight comes back from the last time I used it.

👤Double boxed for safety, arrived on time. Save a smaller box for lanterns. The light is very bright. I can't comment on battery life until I use it. It's perfect for my apartment during a power failure. I don't think the lanterns are strong enough for heavy use, such as camping, but in the safety of your home. I recommend.

👤The lights were used for the first time after the power went out. They are bright, but not as bright as they could be. They are bright and painful at the same time. The only use for them is hanging high. Placing on a coffee table or dining room table will not work. Maybe a frosted shade would help diffuse the intensity. These will not work for us so we will need to look for something else to use during rare power outages and hurricanes. I can see why they are called camping lanterns. Hanging them from trees around the camp site might work out. It's not recommended for table use where they will be in close proximity to people during hurricanes.

👤Everyone needs a reliable light in an emergency, camping, or a black out. This is a great solution. It is bright and can light up a room. It pulls open for light and pushes to turn it off. The body of it is nicely constructed and easy to use. The metal handles can be folded down to make it easy to store next to a bed. A young child wouldn't have a problem using it. The light is very bright, but it doesn't get hot to the touch. Everyone in the house can now have a reliable light when they need it.

👤The camping lanterns with batteries were delivered. The lanterns are sturdy and bright enough for what I need. I was required to let a third party update my software when I tried to get the lifetime warranty activated. I couldn't get to the next step without the update. They don't know how dangerous this can be. I don't think I'll have a warranty.

👤Don't let them fool you, it's still decent. These aren't Pelican Case material. I think the lamp would be smarter and just light up the LEDs on the exposed side as I open it. It would use a bit of energy when I opened it. All of them light up when you open it a little bit. It uses the same amount of energy no matter how much light you need. Hope these help someone.

Use with other cooking methods. The lightweight cooking equipment pairs well with other cooking supplies such as pots, pans, dishes, plates, bowls, utensils. The Mess Kit can be used on any stove.

Brand: Stansport

👤The reviews sound nice, but I had a bad experience. I washed the kit before using, and noticed a fine grey dust on the cloth while I was drying it, no big deal, I washed it over again, but now I notice that the copper finish on the bottom is washing away. I think I'll give it a try. It was a big mistake. The kit is dangerous. It starts smoking and popping when I start heating it on a camp stove. The cooking surface is almost immediately above the flame, and the copper finish is burning off the bottom. The kit is not food safe. Did anyone notice the lead warning on the product page? I definitely did not.

👤I have been abusing this mess kit sense. I have burned food into it, placed it on the coals of a fire, and scrubbed it with a green scratch pad every time I cleaned it. I have read some of the 2 and 3 star reviews on this mess kit and have a few things to say. 1) People should not put this on a stove without something in it. It is bad on the metal to make it glow red with nothing in it. Why would you complain that this isn't big enough for more than one person? The mess kit is for one person. I don't know why others are having a problem with the copper coating being thin. I am a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my cookware. Every time I use the pot and pan, I scrub the living out of it. I use a green scratch pad on the bottom of them to get all the black soot off. Its going on for 3 years. I rubbed the copper off the pot after using this 100s of times. I plan on buying more of them. I will use it to replace the one I am currently using. I want a second kit because I want to cook using 2 pots or 2 pans. My last camping trip, I cooked rice in the pot, froze dried turkey in the pan, and used spices. I needed another pot to cook beans. I used the pan to cook eggs in the mornings but had to use a cast iron skillet to cook bacon and a pot to cook potatoes. There is a helpful tip. I use a spray to coat the outside of the pan and pot for grilling. It helps when scrubbing off the soot. The Feb 2016 update is here. I posted a picture of the kit. I lost the pot and lid in my truck, it could have fallen out. The kit is still the best.

👤This product can expose you to chemicals that are known to cause birth defects or reproductive harm in California. Who would want to eat off such material if someone was honest enough to print it on the box?

👤The Stansport mess kit has a capacity of 3 cups, which is not listed in the product description. It is clearly less. I filled the pot with water using a measuring cup and a small amount of headspace. The kit with the standard 10.75 ounce can of soup for scale is attached. Adding a can of soup to the pot would be fine, but not with the amount of water added. I'm not upset with this because of the misleading description. It's light and very compact, which is what I was looking for, and everything works well. The Lixada mini pocket camping stove can be tucked inside the pot. The steel is strong enough to be used with a campfire. The handle of the frying pan looks odd, but there is no awkwardness when you pick it up. The pan is large enough to hold two large eggs. This is a decent value if you know that it is a small mess kit.

Brand: Wealers

👤I was excited to get my own set because my sister has one and we used it on a camping trip. Everything that was described was included. Several of the utensils that I received were scratched and looked like they had been used. The horrible smell of the carrying case was what made it so bad for me. It smells like cigarettes, but on a whole new level. The warehouse employees probably need to be tested for lung cancer. I thought I would be one of the lucky ones that got a set that didn't smell, because a lot of people had this complaint. I was wrong. I will not be using utensils to cook with that have been sitting in a bag that smells like cigarettes.

👤The Wealers 7-piece outdoor/indoor cooking set met my expectations and was an inexpensive set. I used the set as my only cooking utensil set after returning from a camping trip. There were a few exceptions in the set. If I were to review each item individually, I would rate them as follows: Cutting board - 5 stars, small enough to fit neatly in the kit, strong enough to cut on with ease. It's easy to clean. The knife is 5 stars and feels really durable. If you aren't careful, can easily cut meat, veggies, fruit, and fingers. The plastic handle broke at the end. I can't imagine anyone could use the spatula for more than a few meals without the plastic breaking. The ladle got the job done, but is a little small. The handle is made of the same plastic as the spatula, but it didn't break on me. The rice paddle was used to stir a number of items, without incident. Feels strong. These are barely used but they are the same scissors that you would use in your kitchen and can be found in a nice knife set. There were no issues with these. I was able to cook my meat and veggies on the grill. It is easy to use and clean. This was never a big issue for me because they are all metal and can be a little warm. There is a bonus! The orange pack is 5 stars and I love the design. It's small enough to fit in with my other camping gear. I wish the plastic items were a little more sturdy than they are. Hope that helps with your decision-making process.

👤Cool set of scissors. They just cut a zip tie.

👤The main reason we purchased the case was to be able to grab it and move to the grill after camping. The items inside are mediocre, but I think it's okay given the price. I don't think I expected tongs to be so short, but they are useless if you're working over a fire or high heat because they don't sping to them. You could put your own kitchen tools in there, or you already own camping tools.

👤What a waste of money. Cheap components and shoddy workmanship. The elastic bands are useless because they do not hold any of the utensils in place. A complete piece of junk.

4. Bisgear Stainless Backpacking Equipment Carabiner

Bisgear Stainless Backpacking Equipment Carabiner

There is a lifetime warranty. All of the cookware is backed by a lifetime warranty. The lightweight, compact, and mobile design of the Bisgear Camp Kitchen Set will allow you to enjoy the great outdoors without second guessing if you packed everything to cook and serve. The mess kit collapses into a bundle for easy storage. A great gift for family and friends is the #1 outdoor cooking backpack and camping backpack and hiking picnic set, which is a great value and is perfect for camping or picnicking. The stove is compatible with any 7/16 thread single butane/butane-propane mixed fuel canisters. It will be more convenient and practicable with the addition of the flame controller.

Brand: Bisgear

👤The set is great for the price. The plates are heavier than I wanted, not a light plastic that flips easily when eating. The cups are small but they are nice. It came with a full set of folding silverware, fork, spoon, and knife. The pan and pot fit the lid. The large pot can hold over 50oz. I like the burner better than the one I have. The weight at just over 2.5 lbs is a downside. It's the price you pay for so many items which is perfect when I take my boys camping, but it wouldn't be my go if it was just me or 2 of us. The plate size would be next. It is too large to sit inside the pan and does not have a decorative rim. I think this would have made it more portable. They could be used to cover the pot or pan. The fire starter rod is small and not very useful. I have better ones. The cups are small and I would rather have 2 bowls that fit in the kettle. I have used this kit with the kids a few times and I am happy with it. I have to add a few plates and utensils for the kids to eat, but it works well and packs up nicely.

👤This is a good price for the set. The stove attachment doesn't fit all size fuel containers, and the number of utensils is a full set for one person, not really 2 people, are a few things to be aware of. I've used the set twice. The handles are starting to change colors and look to be melting away. If the handles have metal underneath, that isn't a real concern. The set is organized well. It is neatly packed into a single unit. The plates and cups are small, so don't expect to get a full size hunk of meat and veg and another side on the plate. There were no 8 ounces in the cups. The melting issue plays out as planned. The food is kept out of the interior. It's easy to pack away and take up less space. It's good for a small amount of cooking and perfect for 1-2 people.

👤After opening it, I really like it. The pots are large enough to cook for two. The cups are small but I would just drink coffee or tea with it so I can make it in the teapot and pour as I want more. The pots and untensils come with a lid. I don't carry a backpack so I can't say how good it is. It's not heavy, but it will be useful for camping, instead of making a fire or warming up charcoal. The plates can be used as a cutting board.

👤I was looking for a light that was all in one kit. This was exactly what I was looking for. It has five stars for size and weight. I only gave it 4 because it said non-stick. It is not really. You need to use oil or grease to keep eggs from sticking. It is perfect for soups and the things I normally carry. The cups and plates are small, but that's not a problem if you have a backpack. I am very pleased and recommend others to do the same.

5. Odoland Camping Cookware Lightweight Backpacking

Odoland Camping Cookware Lightweight Backpacking

Acampar al aire libre cocinar senderismo de picnic establecer olla tazn cacerola utensilios de cocina. Each pot is lightweight and solid because of the strong structure. It is a must have survival gear that can last a long time. All of the camping supplies can be stored in the pot pan kit. The handles on the pot or stove can be folded. The camping cooking set can be stored together in a mesh bag for easy carry. This awesome survival gear and equipment is designed for anyone who loves camping with their family and friends. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.

Brand: Odoland

👤All on a good product. It's easy to clean and lightweight. This is a great option for two people. The handles started to burn up after the second use. These were not used on a campfire, but on a Coleman propane roadtrek grill. You can see how high the flame gets even with a grill plate, even though they said it was heat resistant. The cups look like espresso shot glasses.

👤I bought this set to split it into two sets. One for me and one for my son. The sizes were perfect. The stove is very hot. The plastic handles are melting. This wont happen if you center your pot on the stove. A bad review is not carelessness. I made hot chocolate water using the big pot on the last camping trip. The pot was left on the stove empty and burning hot during the madness of getting everyone set up. I pulled it off the stove after catching it. The interior finish was not damaged. Which supported me. If you decide to split it into two kits, this is a great backpacking kit. Great purchase.

👤I bought this to use as a mess kit while hiking and camping with my girlfriend. It has been a decent kit so far. I've cooked potatoes in it before and they stick to the bottom. I cooked chili cheese mac which did burn on the bottom, but I used the kit for the second night. I probably had the burner too high. The burner works well in slight breezes, but I would recommend getting some sort of wind protection for higher wind areas. If you need to cook or just boil some water, the burner is a decent size and lightweight. Coffee was easy to drink. I am happy so far. It's easy to scrub off stuck food.

👤The pots worked well on my trip. I bring more cooking supplies when I camp, but these worked great for a backpacking camping trip where I couldn't pack much. If you use them all the time, they will start to degrade. The pots are thin and after using them once they have some heat in the bottom. They are great for the price and I love the little cups and silverware that come with them. They do the job despite being a little hard to balance on the stand. It's hard to clean a campsite.

👤This is the most used item in my camping arsenal, after taking this kit on 4 trips so far. The burner comes with the kit. It took a bit of practice to figure it out, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. You can loop a carabiner onto your backpack. It was a great purchase and worth every penny.

👤Heavy gear is high quality. It is pretty amazing that everything is well together. I am writing this on a camping trip to Sturgis as I use it. The burner works well as I boil water for noodles, coffee and oatmeal. Add a fuel tank and you are cooking!

6. Odoland Camping Cookware Lightweight Backpacking

Brand: Odoland

👤I bought this to go camping. backpacking is similar to motorcycle camping. There is very little space to pack. Take what you need and leave the rest at home. The price for the mess kit with the stove was only a few dollars more than the one for the mess kit without it. I thought it was worth the risk. The mess kit works well. The spoon is a little flimsy. I eat a lot of prepared foods, canned soups, dehydrated food, coffee, and backpacking, so the stove was a surprise. It's heating things up and boiling them. I used the stove for this purpose. A cup of water can be boiled in a few minutes. I wouldn't use it to hold a frying pan for cooking a steak, or to cook an 8 quart pot of birria stew. Don't complain about the small backpacker kit if you want to do that.

👤My son and I hiked the NJ portion of the appalachian trail. Needed a solution for the stove. We only needed to heat up water. This was perfect. Markers on the pots for one cup, two cup, and three cup indicators would make it easier to measure out water.

👤The 220g (8oz) of used Isobutane propane mix was purchased from REI for $7. After messing with it, you found out you need: 1. The flow valve counter says clockwise. Pull the igniter towards the flame while pressing the red button. I used a lighter to ignite it after it didn't work the first time, so I didn't need it again. I don't know if this is common with new stoves or fuel type, but both of these things did the trick on what I thought was a faulty cookware set.

👤One of the great concerns with camping gear is not getting the right thing the first time, and having to purchase another thing that does almost the same thing but does it better. The camping cookware mess kit is for the first time buyer. You can use it for a lot of things. I wish I had bought this before I tried the other camping stove solutions. It started quickly and heated up very quickly. I was impressed. It was great that I could pack it down with the fuel inside. Space saving is important when hiking.

👤The cookware is fantastic. I loved how easy it was to store this backpacking set. It was even easier to travel with the propane in the set. I liked that it came with a microfiber cloth for cleaning, and that the pots were labeled inside for measurement. The spork is flimsy, and I wouldn't use it as your only utensil. The stove was terrible. The top of the stove wouldn't light up when I tried lighting it multiple times. The flame was coming out of a hole on the side of the stove, not heating up the pot, but instead burning a piece of plastic on the stove. It was frustrating. I wouldn't use the stove, but I would recommend this set for the pots. I can't say enough about how frustrating it was.

7. REDCAMP Cookware Lightweight Backpacking Anodized

Brand: Redcamp

👤On a backpacking trip with 6 different people, I used this recently. We were able to use the larger pot to heat up the water for pasta and oatmeal. It is large enough that I was able to store the fuel and stove inside of the container, which made it a nice compact mess kit. It seems like the handles are more than adequate to avoid getting burned while picking up pots. Everything was pulled very nicely by the stuff sack. The stuff sack is black, so it is easy to lose in your bag.

👤I bought a few of them to use as kits. The bottle and stove fit inside. A small towel was also added. It was used by a lot of boy scouts and it was not damaged or abused. Cleaned up nicely for the next camping trip. This would be a good recommendation for your backpacking pot.

👤The mess kit has a good volume secondary pot for sauces or beverages and is easy to clean if you don't abuse it. I love my titanium pot on my gas pocket stove but it's too small for cooking outside of heating up canned goods due to its small volume and narrow diameter. It was perfect for me if I had to boil water because it would fill my 1L nalgene water bottle completely. I was reminded of the cheapo Stanley mess kits I used to play with in the boy scouts, the flimsy, shiny ones that were a constant source of irritation for me and my friends. I was pleasantly surprised by the mess kit. The material has a dull coat and nice insulated handles. Since they arrived, both of the included pots have been used multiple times, and I use them in the kitchen regularly for cooking meals for one. The included bowls and spork are nice, but I just use them as dog food scoops and eat directly from the pot like the savage I am. The rounded bottom of the pots makes them easy to clean. I'll definitely use this, because of the quality of the components for the price. When backpacking, the pot and pan tend to rattle a bit together, which can be alleviated by tying them securely together with a bit of 550/paracord.

👤The pots are very light. They heat and cool quickly. I used a small pot to heat water for tea on a camping trip, and it was the right size. The foldable spork was very useful. I lost a more expensive cookware kit when I moved. I was happy to find an inexpensive replacement that worked just as well as my expensive one.

👤The moral of the story is that if it seems too good of a deal to be true, it probably is. The pots and dishes are in good shape. The sparker on the bracelet doesn't work at all. The metal used in the credit card tool is cheap and poorly made, which makes it difficult to make it work. Within minutes of unpacking, both went into the trash. The folding spork is cheap and flimsy, but it should be useful. The mesh carry sack looks like it will be shredded in high winds. It's a good enough kit to fit in the truck in case of emergencies, but not something one should use more than a few times.

8. Bulin Cookware Nonstick Backpacking Lightweight

Bulin Cookware Nonstick Backpacking Lightweight

The wide opening of the Wood backpacking stove can add more materials for it to burn inside. The space helps the stove burn right by circulating the air. The size of the top is perfect for your pans. It can cater for a lot of food to be roasted, cook, or reheated. The dimensions are 7.8 inches by 7.8 inches. Each pot is lightweight and convenient because of the strong structure and non-toxic aluminum. It is a must have survival gear that is built to last for a long time. The cookware set is made of the highest quality aluminum alloy. It is fast heating and lightweight. The coating on the pot makes it easy to clean. The camping cookware kit was the best money ever spent. The cooking pot pan bowl has 1 pot, 1 small pot, and 1 cleaning sponge. All utensils are healthy for your body. The pot has a foldable handle that can protect your hands from injury. The bag with shrink rope is easy to hang on the backpack. It can be used to cook, boil water, and fry eggs. The small size and portable make it easy to carry. All the accessories in the set can be put into the largest pot, and the lid of the small pot should be covered to make sure they don't get left behind. This cookware kit is perfect for camping with friends and family. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic, open fire and other outdoor activities.

Brand: Bulin

👤I have never camped before. It's so small that it barely fits on my stove. The handle melted when I heated water for coffee. Eggs welded into the surface of the pot when I tried to cook them. Buy a decent quality kit and save money.

👤Not large enough for a dehydrated meal. No. They make noise when carrying so don't lock them together. Cheap metal.

👤Good in theory and bad execution. I am a chef on the road so I tried to cook eggs with it. I have been scrubbing the eggs for weeks and don't recommend it to anyone. I don't like throwing things away. Please save your money.

👤This is awesome. It's perfect for camping.

👤The pots are large enough for two people to eat. The last time I cleaned the kettle, it streaked black and now has a terrible smell of oil, like a refinery. Is carcinogenic much? Not using again will cost you more for higher quality.

9. Stanley 11 Piece Stainless Accessories Backpacking

Stanley 11 Piece Stainless Accessories Backpacking

This set is perfect for backpacking as well as traditional camping. The camping cookware set includes a stock pot, saucepan, frying pan, cutting board, spatula, spoon, and locking bungee. The cooking pots and pans have a unique, multi-layer bottom. Even heating over campfires, stove tops, and grills to save space. The cookware is dishwasher-safe and made from 18/8 steel that won't rust or break. The perfect gift. Are you looking for the best gifts for outdoorsmen? Is there a gift for the man obsessed with nature? You need the Stanley Even-Heat Camp Pro Cookset to celebrate the occasion.

Brand: Stanley

👤Do you take your family on camping trips to a national park or private campground? Do you have a tent or camper? Have you ever wanted to start? Invest in quality products. If you're like most families, on your first trip, you took your cookware from home, but realized what cooking over a campfire does and don't want to pay for expensive pans again. The Big Box Store has inexpensive pots and pans that are difficult to pack because of the handles and glass. The pots aren't big enough to hold what you want to cook, and the fry pan is too big for a cook stove. You think to yourself that something better must be out there. This is better. It's much better. This is just as good as anything you'd buy for your home, just a little more compact and has folding handles, it's just a little more convenient and it's heavy duty. This set is more expensive than dollar store items, but will last longer, take up less space, and keep everyone fed and happy. Stanley has another set that comes with plates and eating utensils. I like the other kit but this cooking set is superior. The Base Camp Kit is still there as it meets a different need. If you need that kind of item, you can easily find it at the dollar store. We're not talking about backpacking. You can get both sets for a reasonable price if you watch for deals. This kit has everything you need for a campfire or propane stove.

👤I did a lot of research on the camp cook set. I wanted something that was strong and compact. I own other Stanley products and love their standard of quality and lifetime warranty. I wanted a set that would allow me to cook on my Coleman 2 burner while feeding my family of four. The Stanley Camp Pro Cook Set was something I wanted to buy. The two person set was too small and the base camp set had things I didn't need. This one came with 3 pots and pans. The pots are really good and will last us forever. The cooking utensils are sturdy. The true test will be only cooking with them. I would like to use the trivets as pot&pan holders. We will see. I haven't used it yet. I can tell that I dislike the board. It doesn't lay flat on its own, so it's useless to me. I would have preferred a different utensil. The cutting board should be the same shape as the stock pot lid. This folding one would be more functional than the smaller one. Please make the design better. I will post an update after our first camping trip. I think this product is very good. The cutting board is subpar to my standards, but it is not a big deal. I bought this set for the pots and pan.

👤Good condition from the warehouse where it was bought. I don't know who came up with these categories, but every item in this kit is damaged to varying degrees. The advertised condition was very misleading and it was much cheaper than buying new. It sounds like metal is trapped between the double layer bottoms when tilted. This could be a manufacturing error, or it could be the result of the many dents and scratches on the items. I can't recommend buying used products from Amazon due to the lack of honest advertising and photos of the damage.

👤It's easy to find kits that include everything you need. Not much searching is required. The G4Free kit is made from lightweight aluminum and has all the essentials for camping. It is very lightweight and packs up small. I will be going on a camping trip in the next 2 weeks, but I haven't had the chance to try out this kit yet. I will update this review if there are any issues with this kit.

👤I was surprised by how much you get in this kit. It's a 5 star value. I wouldn't recommend taking this on a through hike of the Appalachian Trail, but for weekend warriors, disaster preparedness and so on. This kit is great. One of the $80 kits that will save a couple ounces and boil 30 seconds faster is a good choice if you are doing long distance backpacking. I could almost fit a 3.5oz fuel canister and all the other items inside the unit except the bowls, as shown in my photo. I can fit them all in the mesh bag and the fuel canister in the smallest bowl.

👤This is a great little set that is almost a child's play. The bowls hold 1 cup. The toy ladle is the right size for the tiny bowls. The short wood spatula needs to be oiled to last. The medium pot holds 4 cups, so it's perfect for the soups I make for dinner. The small pot is perfect for a 16 ounce cup of coffee. They have the measurements on the inside. The plastic box that comes with the stove is very handy to keep it from scratching your pots. If you add a collapsible bowl, travel mug, and spork, you would have a decent small set. A spork from taco bell would go a long way to improve this set. The stove works well after trying it out. It takes a few times for the piezo ignition to work. The orange box the stove fits into is a must have. There was a bad finish on one of the pots. They wrote me back and said they would send me another pot soon. It will take a couple of weeks to arrive, but it was good service. I picked up a collapsible cup and bowl that fits in.

👤The quality of this set was disappointing. You get what you pay for. There are pros and cons to the following: -Stove works -Stove lighter works -Silverware works. The pots can only sit on 3 of the arms and wobbles back and forth on the 4th one, which is not the correct lengths. If the plastic bowls were slightly altered, they could lay flat in the pot and a lot more things could be fit inside, instead they have to sit on their side and take. I would recommend going for a stove that is more expensive than this.

👤After buying this kit a few years ago, I have really liked it. It's not the highest quality out there and the utensils are flimsy, one wouldn't stay open, the other wouldn't open without some persuasion from a multitool. The kit as a whole is a great size for storing everything inside, and it was the perfect size for our mountain meals. The included burner always started quickly and easily when I threw the larger pot on the jet boiler. The handles do a good job of keeping the heat out of your hands. The bowls are small, so we never used them, but I could see where the ladle could be used with larger meals. It was a breeze to clean and leave this for a multi-day backpacking trip deep into the wilderness of Yellowstone.

👤The set is small for the value. You should practice using a pocket stove. It's simple, but must be tested to see if it works. You don't want to be left in the wild without the internet and wondering how to use it. It's best to get a propane adapter as isobutane is harder to get at brick and mortar stores.

👤My brother received this as a gift. I gave the stove to him and it worked perfectly. The items are all in one place. The pros and cons of Sponge are as follows: lightweight for two people, stores easily, and wish there was a stove stand included for the fuel cannister. A nice small portable camping set. I try to be honest with my review. If this was helpful, please give it a thumbs up.

👤The two pack was bought to add to our bags. They're packed with everything you need to cook or boil water. If you have a fuel canister for the stove, you're ready to go in an emergency. I didn't know that each unit had two nested sets of pans. That's really cool, and it all comes in one larger canister. Not a lot of rattling, light and compact. Should work for me if I need it. I might swap out the cutlery with the sporknife to save space and weight. Might add some pop-out bowls. The price is worth it for my needs.

👤The set is lightweight. I plan to use it on my road trips. It feels like it would work well for backpacking. The cups look like they are made of steel. The build quality is good. I haven't tried the portable stove, but it looks basic enough to do the job. The stove has an adjustment knob that can be used to increase or decrease the flame. I put the cook set up on the Coleman stove so that you can see the relative size of the pots. Everything you need for a camping or emergency bug out kit is included in the starter kit.

👤This was taken down Grand Canyon. It worked great. 3 nights of hiking, cooking breakfast and dinner. Drinks. A small. Light weight. A windbreaker is needed on a windy day. We got it going. The fuel bought was separate and new. My parents were impressed by it. They do a lot of hiking. Like the lightweight, but with a small carry on. We are going to use in Grand Canyon for 3 days.

👤My son is in Boy Scouts. Everything was advertised. I was surprised at how small it is. The silverware doesn't stay open very well, so I don't like it. It was difficult to eat with them because they are very easy to fold back up. I don't recommend the portable stove for beginners as it seems that it wouldn't take much to knock it over. He loved it, but I'm happy with the purchase.

👤The kit seems sturdy, but I haven't put it to the test yet. The set is small and has a lot of cooking gear. Comes with a knife fork. You can cook for 2 people.
