1. Coghlans 9560 Emergency Camp Stove

Coghlans 9560 Emergency Camp Stove

The camping soap sheets work with hot or cold water. The emergency camping stove requires no liquids, dressings or anything else. Fuel tablets are used with any solid fuel such as Hexamine, Trioxane, or Sterno. essential gear for camping, backpacking, and more

Brand: Coghlan's

👤I used this for the first time and it took 5 minutes to cook a can of raviol and it was so hot it burned my mouth.

👤We lost our power for a few days this winter, and I wasn't prepared for the power going out in our new home. I used this to heat soup and hot water in our emergency backpack, so I am happy. This was a blessing after a few days without food or heat. It does not heat up as quickly as a stove top or a propane cooking stove, but it did heat my soup and water to boiling, so it did a good job. It's a great stove for survival. It's a must-have for everyone's survival kit. I don't know what we would have done without it.

👤The manufacturer of this product has information about the Hazard Statements and the Precautionary Statements. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. There was no smoking. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. P26: Dust, fumes, mist, andvapours can be avoided. P272: Work clothing that is contaminated should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear gloves, clothing, and face protection. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes. P333+P313: Get medical advice if you have skin irritation. P321: Section 4 of this SDS describes specific treatment. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it. In case of fire, use water spray, alcohol resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Store away from incompatibles. Keep away from water.

👤This is light and fits in your hand. I will boil at least 2 gallons of water with the fuel tablets included, I am happy with my purchase. I added this to my bag so that I can make a quick meal without smoke while I'm out of town, and it's cheap, just buy it, you're not killing it.

👤It's what it is. The little stove is great. The stove folds down to fit in a small space and can be used with smokeless fuel or wood. The stove should be put on a brick or cement surface. The smokeless fuel falls through the stove. The top of the stove folds open to fit small pots and pans but isn't super sturdy, so it's a good idea to use brick or cement under the stove. I bought a grate that would stand on its own over the stove.

👤I brought this out to try it out since I usually use propane camp stove but they take up too much room in my emergency kit. This little device can boil water and comes with fuel tablets. You can use more than one tablet at a time to create more heat in the kitchen. It's small and portable. A metal cup is better with a lid. The tablets light up. The tablets are useless if you don't have a way to ignite them. I am not giving it a higher rating because of this. It's a good device for hiking, camping and emergency.

Brand: Virestove

👤The stove is a great example of a rocket stove. I have two others that are too small to be functional, the other is too bulky and the way it is built is one of the best I have ever seen. Even cool weather it burns very efficiently. It has been in the 30s. I tested this out several times and it was the same result each time. There is a Some of the reviews you see online are different. I didn't bring dry tender or wood shavings from the garage I went to where I hike outside and saw some fallen branches that I have been there for a few rains. I took my time and split the branches so that they didn't burn down. I used a fire starter. I always have those with me when I leave. I put the pieces in the feed port and then dropped them in the chimney and it went away. It took me about five minutes to get a good hot burn, but once it produced its own heat, it took off. If you want to start the fire with some debris or sticks down the chimney portion, it will help it heat up faster as the coals fall down on the other wood in the feed port. I was able to cook up two bowls of soup and a cup of hot chocolate with a little over a few sticks. I was able to keep the fire going enough to cook on even though the wood was not completely dry. This is the only real con I can see. I think 2.5 pounds. It made me feel like I was actually enjoying being outside, as I sat there and played with it and used it, and it made me feel like I was actually enjoying being outside. I was connecting. I would recommend this to any of my friends, and I would be willing to test it out for you if it ever came to fruition, because I think a titanium version would be awesome.

👤I am very upset with the design. It is a one piece folding rocket stove. There is a I can use sticks and twigs for cooking since I spend so much time camping. Someone thought about using the internet relay. It's easy to light up and keep the fire going. If you spend time outdoors like I do, I highly recommend it.

👤I was motivated to buy this after being without electricity for 6 days and having coffee and hot meals. The product was able to get boiling water in about 15 minutes by using small sticks from the yard.

👤It's good for on the go because the stove folds up very thin. There is a carry pouch with a handle. Excellent for camping, hiking, or survival. The metal gets very hot when used, so be careful and give it time to cool. I asked a few welders who had built me a stove similar to this one if it would cost at least $150 and it wouldn't be foldable and heavy. Excellent product for the price.

3. GoSun Go Ultra Portable Solar Cooker

GoSun Go Ultra Portable Solar Cooker

You can quickly build a fire pit with just 3 small wooden sticks or bamboo. Please watch the video to learn how to use it. ULTRA PORTABLE - The GoSun Go is portable. In the summer or winter, the GoSun Go is ready for adventure on land and sea. A meal can be cooked in 20 minutes and reach a temperature of up to 550F in full sunlight. The GoSun Sport is able to hold its heat and capture ultraviolet light. You can cook if you can see a shadow. If you have a sunny day, you can have a hot meal with the GoSun Go portable solar oven. GoSun's patented solar cooking technology absorbs a broad spectrum of radiation so as long as you have a bit of sun, you're in business. The included items are a glass tube oven, 2 reflectors, EVA frame, cooking tray, stabilizer stand, User Manual and Mini Cookbook. The bag with the gosun go pro is the only one that has a sun dial.

Brand: Gosun

👤I bought it from the program on which it was raised. I tried to contact GoSun with my issues, but they are not interested in anything but glowing reviews. If I post a review on their Facebook page they will take it down, so I'm using this. The execution leaves a lot to be desired, but the concept is brilliant. It is supposed to be for backpacking. The steel cooking tray is supposed to be locked in place by a collar of fabric when the zip up is tight. The only problem is that all of the zippers loosen up as they are used. If you take it on hikes as intended you have to be very careful, once it is a little used, to strap it on with the end that the tray slides out of in the up direction or else, as has happened to me 3X now the tray will slide out. The tray won't break if you don't notice. The claims for heating and cooking are overstated. I live in New England and a haze or intermittent clouds can make it difficult to boil water on a sunny day. If you think you're going to have coffee, tea, or breakfast, forget it, because the Sun will get lower in the sky. You have to get used to eating mid-day. If GoSun had designed this oven with a larger solar collection surface, I believe it would have solved the problem, but they didn't and the poor heating performance is the result. It takes 40 minutes or more to bring 13 ounces of water to a boil, and 4 minutes to cook a quart. 3 The stand incorporated into the case is not adequate. They give you a small plastic piece that is supposed to fit into a carry handle and be able to aim at the sun at the same time. If the oven is stable, you should start cooking. It's barely stable with no wind and with a wind. They sell an add-on that is supposed to make it work better, but I think a device should work out of the box. To compensate, I use a couple of small logs cut in the woods to support the oven and a cross piece to aim it at the sun. The aiming system is not very easy to use, as you have to get your head around to read the sun dot and shadow dot. I think they could have done better. I give it two stars, one for a great idea and a second because it does work, but I would only use it for emergencies after my experience with it for regular camping.

👤The cooking area was too small and difficult to operate, and it was not possible to tell until opened. Write up was not accurate.

👤The cooker is too small to be used much. I use it to heat a cup of coffee. It is necessary to allow the tube to cool down before adding new contents, as one has to choose between cooking food or having a hot beverage. I have not cooked solid food in it because of the small size and other cautionary notes. It would be difficult to clean the tube without causing a problem with the case to which it is attached. I am an experienced solar cook and feel that this item might not work for preparing a snack for a back packer on a short excursion.

4. Stanley Adventure Camp Stainless Steel

Stanley Adventure Camp Stainless Steel

There areDEAL outdoor accessories. The Stanley cook kit is a great gift for anyone who likes to cook outside. TheTILE HANDLE: The locking handle folds over the lid to save space and it was designed to provide maximum comfort and stability while it's on the stove. There are two types of durable and BPA-free. The entire kit is made with no harmful materials and features two insulated portable 10oz/ 295mL cups to enjoy hot and cold beverages. The design is light. The mess kit with cups is only 7oz and it is travel and backpack friendly. The marks on the kettle went up to 20oz.

Brand: Stanley

👤The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is a staple in the camping/backpacking world and is overlooked by the ultra lighters out there. I believe that you have two safe choices of metal in camping cookware: titanium orstainless steel. There is a chance that there is a link between Alzheimer's and the use of anodized aluminum. It is inexpensive but heavy. Titanium is light and expensive. The Stanley is great for me, as I don't mind the weight. I put my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil in the plastic cups that come with it, instead of tossing them in the trash. I use a GSI cup with the Stanley. The lid for the Stanley is perfect for the GSI Cup. The attention to detail on the Stanley is amazing, considering pots that are more expensive don't usually have the perks that the Stanley does. The plastic flip-up finger handle stays up perfectly on its own. The lid has drain holes. There are not marked on the inside of the measurement. The marks are stamped so you can still see them from the inside. No big deal. When the handle is locked into its folded position, it acts as a firm/reliable closing. The Stanley is a great product at a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.

👤The little cook pot is a happy find for me. I like that it's not aluminum. The graduations stamped on the side are very useful. I don't keep the two plastic cups in the pot as they take up a lot of room that I choose to use for other things. When the handle is closed, it provides a positive holding mechanism for the lid. The pot is folded into a cup. I put the paper coffee filters between the pot and cup to cut down on rattling. The paper filters can be used as a pre-filter for a water purification kit.

👤You need a way to boil water and cook food if you like hiking and backpacking. The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is for camping. This is one of the best cook sets out there. It is made of 18/8 steel which won't rust on you and is easy to clean with a scrub pad or sand from a creek or lake shore. There are holes in the lid that allow you to easily drain water if you need to. All for about $13,000. The value is great.

👤I use a fuel canister with this for my cook system. The stove is inside the mugs. I backpack in the Midwest and the West, and haven't found anything I don't like. Stores are easy to clean. I've cooked next to people with systems that cost 10x as much and we'll eat at the same time, and will share the trail again in the morning, and this is definitely not worth 10x less than what they paid! I don't remember weight off hand, but it's an extremely good value for a recreational outdoorsman. It's a good, low-risk kit. I've used it for car camping for oatmeal and coffee. The picture is from open fire cooking. The picture is from a 5-star destination. Take care!

5. Odoland Cookware Carabiner Stainless Backpacking

Odoland Cookware Carabiner Stainless Backpacking

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle on anything that could catch fire. Children and pets should not be near candles. The camping cookware kit includes a mini stove, 2 aluminum non-stick pots, 1 spoon, 1 fork, and 1 knife. Anti-slip and anti-heat handles. The anti-slip pot handles and the Silicone cup protectors can protect your hands from injury. One kit is all you need. You will be amazed by this set. The mini stove can be folded to save space. The pots have handles. Each pot is lightweight and solid because of the strong structure. It is a must have survival gear that can last a long time. The foldable handles on the pot or stove are easy to carry. The cookware set is small and portable and can be stored in a mesh bag. The camp cookware set is designed for anyone who loves cooking outside. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.

Brand: Odoland

👤I bought it at only $23, even though I was skeptical. The phlegms were positive for lead. The pots do contain lead, but I used a 3M lead test kit. If you only want a burner and cup... It is still a good price. The burner comes with a plastic carrying case that fits into the cup, so that it can fit into a nylon bag with lots of room to spare.

👤I bought this set for my friends when they were camping. It was cute and compact, and we had a blast cooking our meals at our campsite. The set is easy to carry in a backpack and it warms up the meals more quickly than I expected. It works well on a gas attachment. The cook set is light and compact, and it has everything you need to cook. Most backpackers don't fix a full course meal so it's the right size for 1 or 2 people. A "pot" and a "pan" are included in the set. The pot is large enough to heat up 2 - 4 cups of water, which is what you'd need for your dehydrated food pack.

👤I considered a lot of options when I was looking for a cooking kit. I chose this one because it came with a pot and pan, which doubled as a lid, and as a bowl for eating. I didn't have to buy it separately because it came with a stove and a cup for coffee. The only thing I added to the package was a clip on the silicone strainer. I picked up a Coleman canister which fit the stove perfectly. There is no gas smell when I use it indoors. The stove was very good. I have never had one before, but it seems very sturdy and it worked perfectly the first time. I'm using the pot right now to cook a bag of rice, and it's not hot on the high setting. I am very excited to use this kit in the real world. If something doesn't go as planned, I will update this. I added a photo with items for reference.

👤After about two years, I decided that I was ready to be my own person and not be part of a family. I was able to make coffee and pancakes. The stove is small but has a lot of power and I was able to cook pancakes using a 8 inch pan and the water boiled within five minutes using the medium pot. I think I can cook a proper meal with it. I am happy for the small size.

👤The light is well thought out. I bought this for my motorcycle vacation, it fits nicely in a saddlebag, and uses very little fuel for a lot of cooking time, and I barely wore out the first canister cooking breakfast and dinner that included coffee and tea in the evening. I still don't recommend anything.

👤I can't tell you how good this stove is. I will not go into the woods with it.

6. Coleman Bottle Propane Stove Green

Coleman Bottle Propane Stove Green

A limited warranty for one year. Up to 10,000 total BTUs is the cooking power. Pressure regulation is important for consistent performance in extreme conditions. More efficient cooking with less fuel is the perfectHEAT design. The adapted burr fits an 8 inch pan. Shield burner from wind for maximum heat. The burner and base are separate from the propane bottle. There is up to 2.5 hours on high on one 16.4 ounce propane cylinder. There is a limited warranty for three years.

Brand: Coleman

👤When I'm camping, I use this to boil water. I refill my tanks. I bought one about 15 years ago, but it got swept away in a Gully Flood. This was bought to replace it. Looks the same. Good idea, but has the same poor quality construction that I find in most things from Coleman. The attitude of "let's make it as cheap as possible", found in most "made in China" equipment they produce, leaves me unimpressed. The plastic insides of the valve mechanism feel loose and do not give me a feeling of confidence when I turn it off. When not in use, the tank and stove must be separated. Why not use a quality valve? I would have paid more for a better product. I have simple propane soldering torches that screw to the top of the tanks, which is 10 times the quality of the same money. Coleman wants you to break the valve and throw the unit away. Many people here accept poorly engineered products and give 5 stars to everything they buy. Not a happy camper. I will not buy another. The product was found to be a much better quality product. I bought it.

👤works well for money. I found a good carrying case for it. The plastic container is 9x8x68. I got it from the target. You can get it for $4-$5. It fits the stove and base.

👤It worked well for the first year. You can see the burn marks on the plastic and the gas leaking from the knob in the picture. It's a shame.

👤A small. It's lightweight. It's very easy to attach the propane tank. The Burns were evenly burned. In windy situations, does well. It's perfect for camping.

👤I wouldn't want anything else other than this one, even though it may be a little bigger than other portable ultra light camping stoves. I read that the overall area to place a pot/pan on is small and can be flimsy, so I purchased this guy. It held all of my camping pots/pans perfectly, and since you slide the bottle of gas into the round base, you can adjust it if you are on a slope. This will be a staple for future camping trips.

👤This is a very well made item. It is convenient to use. The cylinder can be plumped into the base with the help of the top. The short, fat cylinders are used instead of the long, long cylinders you usually see plumbing use. I had one of these things. I hurried and ordered another one because I couldn't locate the thing. The part of Florida I live in, the Panhandle, did not get hit by the storm. My old stove helped my father and I through Hurrican Ivan in 2004. We didn't have power or water for a week and half of the trees were knocked down. Our roof lost every other row of shingles, the storm windows blew out with loud bangs, and the siding of our house blew three blocks down the street, which my neighbor, John, returned to me as a joke. We 800-273-3217 I also have a Coleman propane stove. I can't find that either. I used this stove a couple of times before deciding the single burner was enough for coffee, tea, or dinner. We ate Hormel with no beans and Bush's chili beans thrown in. You don't have to use soapy water on the joints to check for gas leaks with this stove. There is one connection. If it does hiss when you screw it on it means the valve is open. To light it, just open the valve and light it with a match or butane lighter. You use the valve to turn it on or off. If you're not familiar with propane torches, the gas coming out makes the connection icy cold to the point that frost forms. No kidding. The same principle that makes your refrigerator work will cause frost to form. I told you to torch mind you. I didn't allow the burner to run full blast. The cooking grid is very sturdy and might eventually be hurt by the flame. If I ever find the old burner, I will compare it to the new one. There is a word about liquid fuel stoves. The Coleman dual fuel stove will burn over four times what is in a cylinder per gallon, according to a add for a dual fuel stove. The cylinders only hold 16 ounces of liquid and the gallon has 128 ounces. The liquid fuel gasoline stove blowing up and sending people to heaven was a joke the person used to make. Methane, ethane, propane, and butane are the straight line gases. You get gasolines, mineral spirits, fuel oils, and tars after this. Natural gas and ethane are not liquids at safe pressure. At 15 atmospheres of pressure, propane is a liquid. The stuff in your bottles is liquid. Butane is liquid at the pressures you find in bottles. propane is more expensive than butane, butane is ideal for plastic lighters. Natural gas is cheap, but an actual cylinder of gas would give you less cooking time. They use gas in city vehicles, but they don't have a great range per charge. If you like to camp or live in hurricanes, this and other Coleman products are very nice. I give it five stars.

7. Coghlans 9957 Folding Stove

Coghlans 9957 Folding Stove

A design that is both rustic and innovative. A camping stove with coated steel construction is strong enough to hold a heavy pot. Any type of canned fuel or solidified alcohol can be used for heat. The front door and sides are tall. essential gear for camping, backpacking, emergency preparedness, and more

Brand: Coghlan's

👤Be careful with what you buy. As it burns hot enough to boil water, the only fuel that can be gotten from the Sterno is "Cooking Fuel". "Canned Heat" pot warmers burn at only 185 degrees and will never boil water.

👤I use this for camping in my van or tent. It was tested at home. It only took me 30 seconds to set it up. I put the pot on top of the sterno can and it was very sturdy. No worries about the pot falling off. It's perfect for when I only need one burner and don't want to break out the big Coleman propane stove. I got a heat diffuser for use on top so I can double the usage of this stove as a back up tent heater, and it worked very well for that purpose as well. I used the heating cover from AdvancedShop here on Amazon to see which one I used. It was fast shipping on it. I've provided pictures of a medium saucepan and a heat diffuser.

👤This is what you think it is. I use twigs, pinecones, and Sterno. All worked well in this stove. The little door does not always stay shut. It can affect the flame inside. You can fix it with a screwdriver or something in front of it. It was easy to clean and works well. Tin foil on the shelf is the best way to hold burning materials. To keep it clean. The stove is a little heavy. If you are car camping, it is still very portable. It might be an issue for backpacking. It does what it says it will do and for a very good price.

👤I bought this for my kit. It is sturdy and can be used many different ways. You could use things other than sterno. I used my stove as a proof of concept. If one needed sticks, they could use them in it. This is the most important part. Coffee. I can't exist without coffee. That is not true. I can exist without coffee, but anyone who has to be around me doesn't want to. I have to have coffee. This is a problem when my house is all electric. I own a Coleman propane stove, a propane single burner unit, and a propane grill. One can burn up a lot of propane in an extended outage, but those stupid little canisters are not cheap. I could use a larger propane tank, but it's inconvenient and the propane is not cheap. Since I don't have a fireplace, I decided to use an alcohol stove. I bought a stove kit after that. I like that thing. There is a problem. Yes. The coffee. I can't just throw a percolator on the kit. I have to either use a backpacking stove, make French Press coffee by boiling water in my JetBoil, or I need something that will support my percolator. This is the kind of thing that engineers think about when the power is out for a long time. The Coghlan's Folding Stove can be entered. I can put my percolator on top of my alcohol burner. It's dah! Coffee. I can use sticks if the mountain blows up or we have the Big One, but only if the mineral spirits, Heet, and any other burnable fuels are gone. During Armageddon, I can have coffee. If I had to, I could cook food with this. It is a fun little stove, so it is great for camping, road trips, and emergency kit. I think I will buy a second one so that I can leave it in my car. Have you ever watched Survivorman? The quality of this stove sold me on it after I read reviews and looked at it in stores. I'm very happy with it. It's a great addition to my kit and is very useful. I am glad I bought it.

8. CANWAY Backpacking Portable Stainless Traveling

CANWAY Backpacking Portable Stainless Traveling

A tube cooking chamber, 2 foldable parabolic reflectors, a cooking tray, a scrubby cleaning tool, and an instruction manual are included. GoSun is a low-maintenance, fuel-free cooking device. The collapsible size of the outdoor stove makes it easy to pack in a small bag. The camping stove is made of high-quality steel. They will be leaving no chemical emissions behind with no fuel canisters or alcohol needed. The camp stove uses leaves, branches and woods as fuel. The secondary combustion keeps the camping wood stove burning for 20 minutes. Protection for free from the date of its original purchase is what you get.

Brand: Canway

👤I can't say anything else. I was skeptical about the quality of the stove and how well it would work. I had seen several similar stoves that worked well, but I didn't find much information about this brand. The silverfire scout is a much more expensive stove than the one I realized is made in China and rebranded to many different companies. I was expecting something cheap and flimsy, but the product is very good. The single walled base of the stove's body is made of thick double walled STAINLESS and it has zero flex. The basket that drops in to the stove body is made of high quality material. One part days 5.11 inches and another part days 5.5 inches were the dimensions I was concerned about. I can confirm that the stove has a diameter of 5.25 inches at its widest point and fit perfectly in my ozark trail 10 piece cookset after removing some bowls. The gsi dualist is a direct copy of the ozark trail kit so it should fit in that kit as well. The center of the stove has a place for small items. I was able to fit my firesteel, a mini Bic, water proof matches, cotton balls, and a folding fork and spoon in a plastic case. I'll be updating my review with some examples of how it works and what it can do. The performance of the stove. I loaded up the stove with 2 cups of wood pellets, threw a cotton ball over it and lit it with a single strike of my firesteel. The flame was perfect and almost flowered around the top of the stove wall when the stove started its gasification process within 3 minutes. My first order of business was to make popcorn and it was perfect. I had a full pot of popcorn in less than 2 minutes. After I ate all of the popcorn, I decided to do a boil test and put on 8oz of water. The water was brought to a boil in 59 seconds. I was completely shocked. The water was taken off and let to cool down. The flame was still generating a flame above a hot bed of coal around the 1 hour mark. I put the water back on and it went to a rolling boil in about 5 minutes since the flame wasn't as intense. I had to put the coals out because it was getting late. You can see that it burned from daylight to darkness. I would use this under a tarp without fear of being smoked out, the stove put out very little smoke once the gasification process took place. I'm not concerned about how pretty my pot looks, even though it did put some soot on it. Buy it, use it and love it!

👤I was surprised to see the flames coming out of the Canway stove. It was really good. I used pellet from my local store to fuel my car. It burn for 40-50 minutes. It is a must have product for emergencies and outdoor activities. You can see attached video and pictures for burning detail. Do you think my comments/ video/ pictures make your decisions easier?

Brand: Gold Armour

👤We had a chance to use it, so I wanted to write a review. I bought this for my son to use. Every single month, they backpack, hike, and camp. I have bought name brand mess kits before. I wanted to see if it was cheaper to compare. I was very pleased with my purchase. All of the items it came with were of the highest quality. We had a small stain on one of the spoons. I contacted the company. They offered to replace us for free. The replacement spoon and spark were sent with it. Excellent company to purchase from. I will recommend this set to all of the new scouts. The stove was the only thing we didn't use yet. When we have a chance to use that, I will update the review.

👤I've been running white gas stoves for 30 years. It's dependable, fit in the pot, and it's sooty. They are a good choice. The stove and pot combination are very different. I'm not a big fan of plastic handle covers, but the pots do the job. The cups and utensils are in good working order. The old cook pot weighed half the weight. The stove is amazing. Amazingly small. The igniter works well. It barely supports the pot. It pours on the heat when you ask for it. My old white gas stove was a bit much. It's also quicker to use the boiler water than my old stove was. I don't think this stove will be abused. You pay for that light weight in a more delicate way. I think this is a good purchase. It's a complete meal kit for a new backpacker at a price that won't break the bank. It is recommended.

👤I've never camped before, and I'm waiting to go when it gets warmer. The bonus stovetop was so small that I did not expect it to be so light. It folds into the picture. The firestarter comes with a striking stick and I had no problems getting it to start. I'm most likely going to use this at home. I did a scratch test on the pot with one of the utensils. I don't like the finish on the pot and pan, and the plastic handles seem to melt if I put it on a campfire. The bowls are small and the bamboo spoon is stumpy. If you don't want to scratch the surface with metal utensils, go for it.

👤This kit was great for me. It worked great for food prep when I camped on the Delaware river. The burner is very nice. It was easy to start compact and work perfectly. Great buy for camping. We used the burner because it was easy to pull out the fire and cook it to gather wood, which is not allowed in some areas.

👤I only gave this 4 stars because I only had it for a short time. The spatula looks almost used because it has something on it that is either food or bamboo curing. The pot had the same substance in a few places. None of those could be cleaned up. They just came that way. I'm not a big hiker. I just wanted a backpack to carry a little kit in case. The kit fit the bill.

👤The camp mess set is great for my purpose, which is to use it in my urban go bag in case of emergencies. It is small and lightweight, and that is the point. If you want a camp mess set that will fit for your luxury excursions, this one is not for you. This is a good choice if you want a set for backpacking or a go bag for 2 people. The quality is good for my purpose, and nothing is wrong with it. Here are three tips that may help you solve common problems. It's easy to put it back together in the correct order. If you forget, I added my pictures of the process. It's 2 The cups were stuck together because of the plastic liner. If you know anything about how metal behaves in hot and cold, this is an easy fix. Remove as much plastic as you can. The inside should be filled with ice water. Pull the cup after pouring hot or boiling water over it. Cold will contract the inside cup and hot will expand the outside cup. There are 3 more If you set it up correctly, it will not collapse when you use it. Make sure the pins at the joint click into place. You should unclick the pins to fold them. The metal bar on each piece should be slid all the way toward the joint. The mechanism of the bar is to help support the pins from unclicking. The pressure on the pins can be alleviated by folding the handle back.

👤I don't like this thing. It is difficult to get back the way it was packed and it is also difficult to fit cups back together. These plates are very bad. The thought of having to fight with it to get it back together was more agony than it was worth, so I didn't use it to cook at camp the other night. I am very disappointed with this purchase, it is lack of function. Does it really make sense for me to try to get it to fit and then pack it back? We don't like trying to figure it out every time. I bought a different set for car tent camping and will look for another better one. It is a no for me. It was waste of my money.

👤This set was okay for the price. It's small and compact makes it a plus. We only cared about the pot, pan, and kettle. The plates are small. The utensils are not worth it. We didn't bother with the cups. Take a different set to eat with you. We used the grill at the campsite to cook. We will use the stove piece.

👤I only used it once. It was a good experience so far. It is small and compact and saves a lot of space. I like pots and cups, they are easy to clean. The stove is flimsy, my pot cannot sit on all four legs, and I need a bigger stove to fit the pot. I will not use the stove. When eating, forks and spoons get folded, which is annoying.

👤I blasted a big fire and the stove held up. The water is boiled and does what it is supposed to do. I wish it came with a nicer bag for storage because it is a little bigger than I thought. Will get a lot of use this fall.

👤It was a gift for my mom. She loves watching bushcrafting on the internet. We made plans to go camping in the woods behind her house so she could try out her survival skills as soon as the weather warms up. I think that's correct.

👤It works amazingly. It was difficult to set up due to no directions. I suggest learning how to set it up indoors before hiking. I took about 10 minutes to get it set up. It seems very durable and you can make fire with it. Be careful with its edges.

👤I use this product for my bug out bag. I gave one to one of my followers as a prize because I was so pleased with it.

👤It's easy to set up and perfect for a backpack or seat pouch.

👤It is easy to assemble. It was quick to light a fire. The carry bag is very small. The edges are a bit sharp.

👤Great design for its purpose. Well thought out. Gave it 5 stars.

👤The stove is not usable because they sent cross pieces that did not connect correctly. One crosspiece needs to be cut in different directions. They don't sit on the stove because they are the same. I chose this item because they don't accept returns. Very disappointed.
