Brand: Coleman

👤The video review is in action. I like to cook outside in the fall. I try to cook bacon on the back deck. I don't have to clean up the grease in the kitchen. I don't have a grill with a side burner. I've used a propane stove for 15 years. I was researching for a one that I could use at home, at the park, or while camping. I stumbled on a stove. I've seen the price vary from $16 to 35. This stove runs on butane instead of propane. The canisters are small and should last at least an hour. The stove is easy to use and hook up the fuel. I've used a lot of different stove designs over the years and most of them use a threaded design. This can be a problem for older children, older adults and people with dexterity issues who are trying to teach them how to use one. You don't have to thread or twist the canister with this stove. Drop it in the slot and push the lever that locks it into place to pressurize the system. The igniter sparks into the gas when the knob clicks past max. You're cooking and it's that easy. There are other things I like about this stove. Check out my video review to see how easy it is to operate. It's a great addition to your gear, whether you use it for camping, boating, back yard BBQ, or as an emergency cooking source when your power goes out.

👤Ignore those who say it's cheap. It's not a cast iron stove. If you beat on it or drop it, it will dent. It is supposed to be light weight. You're going to pay more if you want something heavy duty. This stove is very safe and easy to use. Unless you're out in the wind, the temperature can be controlled. This isn't rocket science when using this stove, flame on, flame off, and adjust to whatever temperature is desired based on the type of pan or food being prepared. Investing in a set of Pans made specifically for outdoor camping stoves will decrease your cooking time and use less gas. Coleman was 8.8 Butane fuel works well.

👤The water should be boiled in 5 minutes on high using only a small amount of fuel.

👤A name branded butane stove costs a good price. It works well. When you are done using the stove, you should remove the canister. It allowed a leak in mine.

👤The burner head melted just like a couple other reviewers had mentioned. It doesn't appear to have affected the flame pattern, but without Coleman or others saying "that's normal - I've used this for months and several cans afterwards without issue", I unfortunately have to return this... I like the small size and carrying case. I contacted Coleman but he didn't reply yet. It seems to work well, though it was disappointing for a first-time user to use a standard home gas stove. It took 10 minutes to boil a liter of water at the highest temperature. I think the wind caused the melting on a cool windy evening while camping.

👤I don't know what kitchen supplies will be provided with my housing. I needed a solution to bring my kitchen utensils with me without having to unpack and pack again, and I didn't want to throw a mess of my own in a plastic bag. This is the perfect solution, it provides most of the basic necessities in a small bag. I added a pizza cutter, measuring spoons, a flat strainer, a real beer opener, and a rubber spatula. I could easily add more with the elastic straps. Everything is in place. I don't know if the long termDurability is possible, but everything is made of STAINLESS STEEL and appears well made. It is easy to keep in my trunk.

👤This is an Amazon Favorite. I paid a little more for this than the one I bought last year. Someone at Amazon needs to use this one. This set is amazing. I couldn't be more enthusiastic in my endorsement. Everything you are likely to need is here. We bought it for camping and I enjoy using the cooking and dining implements so much that I often pull them out to use in cooking at home. The set is easy to transport and has a high quality case. I'm usually not as impressed with purchased items. The knives in this set are sharp. This is a very good set. Forget about what Amazon likes. This will become your favorite as it has become mine.

👤I took my first trip this past Memorial Day weekend and was very disappointed. If you are looking for just basic silverware all in one to use, this is not it. Everything was hand washed and dried for 3 days, but by the end of the weekend it was all rust. The girl pokers that we used on the grill were not heat resistant. I am not rough on anything. I was hoping this would last me more than one trip, but I am so disappointed.

👤The thing is light, compact and perfect for organizing kitchen tools for car camping. I wouldn't use this kit for every day use, but everything in it is at least quality. There are no useless gadgets that come in a lot of kits. There is a spatula, scraper, Ford, silverware, a couple sharp knives with sheathes, wine/beer opener, and poultry shears. That is a solid foundation for any camp kitchen. The case come in different colors, but it is a small issue for a great little kit.

👤I had high hopes for this, but it ended up causing damage. The handle came undone because it was sewn to the case. I was getting ready to package it back up to return it when I realized that the other side of the handle was not the same. I won't replace it with the same one because it was bad.

👤This is a good get and comes with a nice bag. One of the reasons for the two stars is that the fondu forks can go under your fingernails if you reach in the bag. I was thankful for the first aid kit. The rest of the kit was useful and will be used again.

3. Stanley Adventure Camp Stainless Steel

Stanley Adventure Camp Stainless Steel

There areDEAL outdoor accessories. The Stanley cook kit is a great gift for anyone who likes to cook outside. TheTILE HANDLE: The locking handle folds over the lid to save space and it was designed to provide maximum comfort and stability while it's on the stove. There are two types of durable and BPA-free. The entire kit is made with no harmful materials and features two insulated portable 10oz/ 295mL cups to enjoy hot and cold beverages. The design is light. The mess kit with cups is only 7oz and it is travel and backpack friendly. The marks on the kettle went up to 20oz.

Brand: Stanley

👤The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is a staple in the camping/backpacking world and is overlooked by the ultra lighters out there. I believe that you have two safe choices of metal in camping cookware: titanium orstainless steel. There is a chance that there is a link between Alzheimer's and the use of anodized aluminum. It is inexpensive but heavy. Titanium is light and expensive. The Stanley is great for me, as I don't mind the weight. I put my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil in the plastic cups that come with it, instead of tossing them in the trash. I use a GSI cup with the Stanley. The lid for the Stanley is perfect for the GSI Cup. The attention to detail on the Stanley is amazing, considering pots that are more expensive don't usually have the perks that the Stanley does. The plastic flip-up finger handle stays up perfectly on its own. The lid has drain holes. There are not marked on the inside of the measurement. The marks are stamped so you can still see them from the inside. No big deal. When the handle is locked into its folded position, it acts as a firm/reliable closing. The Stanley is a great product at a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.

👤The little cook pot is a happy find for me. I like that it's not aluminum. The graduations stamped on the side are very useful. I don't keep the two plastic cups in the pot as they take up a lot of room that I choose to use for other things. When the handle is closed, it provides a positive holding mechanism for the lid. The pot is folded into a cup. I put the paper coffee filters between the pot and cup to cut down on rattling. The paper filters can be used as a pre-filter for a water purification kit.

👤You need a way to boil water and cook food if you like hiking and backpacking. The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is for camping. This is one of the best cook sets out there. It is made of 18/8 steel which won't rust on you and is easy to clean with a scrub pad or sand from a creek or lake shore. There are holes in the lid that allow you to easily drain water if you need to. All for about $13,000. The value is great.

👤I use a fuel canister with this for my cook system. The stove is inside the mugs. I backpack in the Midwest and the West, and haven't found anything I don't like. Stores are easy to clean. I've cooked next to people with systems that cost 10x as much and we'll eat at the same time, and will share the trail again in the morning, and this is definitely not worth 10x less than what they paid! I don't remember weight off hand, but it's an extremely good value for a recreational outdoorsman. It's a good, low-risk kit. I've used it for car camping for oatmeal and coffee. The picture is from open fire cooking. The picture is from a 5-star destination. Take care!

If you're not happy with your experience, please let them know and they'll help you.

Brand: Bulin

👤It worked well and was good quality. Light weight. The handles didn't seem to get hot on the fire. The bad ass was used often. Buy it. It is what you are looking for.

👤The reviews are good for this. I had a terrible time with this cookware set and the only good thing I can say is that it is lightweight and compact. I can see how important that would be, but everything else about this set is terrible. The breakdown is not non-stick. Everything I cooked was a mess to remove from the pans. I didn't care how much oil I used. I cooked burgers in the pan and they were ruined because they were stuck to the pan when I tried to flip them. Eggs would stick. Everything sticks to these. If you are camping out in a car, get a good teflon pan or cast iron and don't care about the heft. I regretted not bringing a normal pan or two because I spent half an hour after dinner scrubbing away at these horrible pans. The cookware does not transfer heat evenly. The paper-thin pans have horrible hot spots that will cause you to burn parts of your dish. The frying pan is too small to cook a lot of food and has steep vertical sides, making it hard to flip things over. Everything you attempt to cook will be welded to the bottom of the pan before it becomes an issue. The flip out handles are very hot in practice and can be a nightmare to use. They flopping about when trying to move the pan around because they don't latch together. It could be dangerous if the handles flop about and you spill a pot full of boiling liquid on yourself. If you need an ultra-compact cookware set, bring a few normal backpacking pots and pans. The plates and bowls are a joke. They are next to a dinner plate. They are flimsy cheap plastic and the plate holds enough food for a child, but not for an adult. The bowls are small and hold a small amount of liquid. The bowls were too small to be useful and we ended up eating out of the pots. This set was very frustrating to use due to the small size of everything and the complete failure of the non-stick surface, and I will be returning it. Unless you are extremely size/weight constrained, do not consider this. If you are camping in a car, just bring some pots and pans and plastic plates and bowls, and you will be fine.

👤We needed to replace our bulky camping cookware. They are wonderful! The handles work well and stay cool. It's large enough to prepare meals for a few people. They are perfect for the Coleman stove. I was skeptical about the little tea kettle, but it works well and is perfectly balanced. I like the non-stick coating, but it might be better for the long haul.

👤A great set for camping. I've used the pots on a cook stove and open fire and the handles are easy to lift. The steam hole in each lid lets you know when the water is boiling. There are 2 and 4 cup marks on the cook pots. I would like to see the measurement mark on the bowl. That is an awesome product that I am very happy to own.

5. Unigear Burning Potable Stainless Backpacking

Brand: Unigear

👤It's very heavy in comparison to what I expected. You can put any smaller cooking heat source within. Alcohol, gas, and wood. I am not sure about pellets. There is a The hinge design and loose fit in the tabs reduces the chance of warping. The size is strong for up to 10 pots and pans. It's safe for small campfires. Don't blame me if you set California on fire. Again. The pan needs to be deeper. It's not for long distance backpacking because it's heavy. The top grate needs more tines to hold steaks and sausages. The square footprint makes finding a really flat surface difficult. There is a This is about as bulletproof as one can get without breaking the bank. It's perfect for a car camp. You can fit any heat source inside. It's a small stove. They are working for you, don't mind the sloppy joints. It is kept from twisting in high heat. There is a Since I just got it, I can only give it 4 stars for now. If it's used correctly, I think it will end up 5 stars. Will update in a while. There were pine cones and oak twigs in the ten pounds of charcoal. It warped some. It was screaming red hot a lot. The job is done fine. The folds are flat enough to fit into the pouch. You can use a wire brush to remove the ashes. After building a coal bed with fuel on top, expect about 1.5 hours of run time. Can feed it sticks for hours until it becomes a big mound. You should clean up. It works well on cinder blocks.

👤The stove is strong. To assemble is simple. I wish there were more accessories on Amazon.com. I bought a griddle from the website and it fits the stove perfectly.

👤I love using this stove. I got a chance to try it out with some charcoal briquettes on the lower rack. I was able to cook corn, mushrooms, and some chicken on a grill. The pan is stable on the wall. The vegetables were initially cooked on the included top rack without any issues and then transferred to the grilling plate for the final cooking. The sharp edges were the only con. I got a few cuts handling the folding sides in the 4 rectangles. I used a small diamond file to deburr them. I'll be trying different sources of fuel in the next few months. Will be updating pictures. It's very easy to clean. The ash was ready to be stored. The ash just blows off and the stains give it character. Look forward to using this again.

👤I received a wood burning stove in two days. It went together in a few seconds. It can be used in many ways... You can use wood sticks, chips, fire started sticks, and charcoal. You can remove the ash tray and use propane under the grill. I boiled 2 cups of water. You can use a pot on top of a frying pan to make coffee or soup. When you get your Unigear wood stove, fold it all together and put it in your backpack, and then you can go! You will not regret it. Thank you Unigear!

Brand: Odoland

👤My 5 year olds toy kitchen set is a part of this horrible product. She loves them because they look like big ones but they are so small that you can't cook or serve them. The biggest waste of money I have ever spent. I already had pots and pans because they wouldn't serve my teenage sons bacon, fish fins, or even half an egg. It is not suitable for cooking. The cups and sleeves are too small and don't fit. The product should be half off at the store. Straight up.

👤Terrible quality. The cups are kid sized, the sleeves don't fit, and the handle broke on the first use. Don't ask about non-stick properties. This is useful for boiling water, but I don't think I'd trust it for that. This was a huge waste of money. It would have been better to spend more on the higher quality names. I still have to do that. I spent almost 50 bucks on a mesh back and crappy silverware. It was hard to pass on this one.

👤These are too small to cook for 2 people and even though they are Teflon, they are not! You have to soak them to get rid of them. I couldn't get them to fit back together.

👤I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the reviews, but decided to take the leap. The last time I went camping, I brought cookware that wasn't made for such an activity and lost some beloved pots and pans. I am glad we got these. They were supposed to be used over a Coleman cooking stove, but were prepared poorly. We threw these over the fire and they exceeded our expectations. We were able to make our dinner quickly, and the handles didn't melt over the flames. They cleaned up after cooking. It is perfect for a couple on a camping trip. We can't wait to use them again.

👤I realized that pieces were smaller than I thought because I have been learning about how much we eat. It should have included the coffee pot. Recommendations for cooking on a propane grill are needed. Or on the fire? Preparing for a year without food stores. I have my mylar bags that I use to heat food up in the pots.

👤I ran my fingers on the pan after the first wash and it left a chemical smell. The one star reviews should not be ignored. I don't recommend this product and you will regret it.

👤The plates, cups, and compact size of the mess kit are what I like the most. The pan that I tried to make pancakes in was not non-stick. The pancakes were completely stuck to the pan.

👤A couple is just beginning to hike. It is easy to clean. It was perfect with my stove. Light weight.

7. Coghlans Camp Heat 2 Pack

Coghlans Camp Heat 2 Pack

essential gear for camping, backpacking, and more The world's largest brand of camping accessories. Everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. Practical, durable, afforadable. For heating or cooking in emergencies. Non-toxic fumes. The burn timer can be used for 4 hours per can. There are two canned cans of diethylene glycol.

Brand: Coghlan's

👤We have had bad windstorms and were looking for something that could be used indoors. Convenience for cooking or heating in camp, home, or in emergencies are safe and harmless for cooking or heating with canned heat. I received the canned heat and it has a warning on it. Skin irritation is caused by Vapor harmful to skin. Flammable. Vapors will ignite. Don't use this product if you can't breathe as much as possible. There is a Which is it? "Odorless and non-toxic fumes are safe and harmless", or "The vapors are harmful and you shouldn't breath them, or" I don't think I'll be comfortable using this in a confined space, so I'll most likely return it and get a propane stove instead.

👤Coffee, tea and soup were not heat during the Texas freeze. Adding a can of hot beans would have been great. These were bought with a camp stove. These were given a low rating. They leaked in transit, although they haven't used. I didn't open the box immediately since we were 800-273-3217 It was definitely not wrapped in plastic, but not sure if caps were sealed properly. What a mess.

👤The cans arrived on time, but the carboard/paper container they were in was damp. I thought it was because of the water in the air, but it wasn't until I had it in a heated house for a week that it dried out. There was a small piece of material coming out of the sealed portion of the can and over the top of the lid which the cap screwed on to, and I noticed that at least one can was wicking fluid out of the cap and onto the tip of the can. This allowed the fluid to move through the top of the can and down the treaded can to the paper container. A bit dangerous if the fluid caught fire. If Camp Heat paper container looks wet, this could be the problem.

👤All they have to do is give them a small amount of money. This doesn't affect everything in the box. Half of it has now been done. The product is wasted. Don't care? You should.

👤I used twice. The water is boiled in about 5 minutes. I have burned for an hour so far. I don't know how long they will last. It works perfectly in my stove.

👤I bought two of these 2-packs and a small Coghlan's folding camp stove for my Hurricane Preparedness Kit. I've not used either of them yet, but I'm sure I'll be happy to get it once I finish eating my tenth package of cheese-and-peanut-butter crackers. There's nothing like a hot meal to distract you from the ongoing disaster. It is worth the money.

8. Coghlans 9560 Emergency Camp Stove

Coghlans 9560 Emergency Camp Stove

The camping soap sheets work with hot or cold water. The emergency camping stove requires no liquids, dressings or anything else. Fuel tablets are used with any solid fuel such as Hexamine, Trioxane, or Sterno. essential gear for camping, backpacking, and more

Brand: Coghlan's

👤I used this for the first time and it took 5 minutes to cook a can of raviol and it was so hot it burned my mouth.

👤We lost our power for a few days this winter, and I wasn't prepared for the power going out in our new home. I used this to heat soup and hot water in our emergency backpack, so I am happy. This was a blessing after a few days without food or heat. It does not heat up as quickly as a stove top or a propane cooking stove, but it did heat my soup and water to boiling, so it did a good job. It's a great stove for survival. It's a must-have for everyone's survival kit. I don't know what we would have done without it.

👤The manufacturer of this product has information about the Hazard Statements and the Precautionary Statements. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. There was no smoking. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. P26: Dust, fumes, mist, andvapours can be avoided. P272: Work clothing that is contaminated should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear gloves, clothing, and face protection. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes. P333+P313: Get medical advice if you have skin irritation. P321: Section 4 of this SDS describes specific treatment. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it. In case of fire, use water spray, alcohol resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Store away from incompatibles. Keep away from water.

👤This is light and fits in your hand. I will boil at least 2 gallons of water with the fuel tablets included, I am happy with my purchase. I added this to my bag so that I can make a quick meal without smoke while I'm out of town, and it's cheap, just buy it, you're not killing it.

👤It's what it is. The little stove is great. The stove folds down to fit in a small space and can be used with smokeless fuel or wood. The stove should be put on a brick or cement surface. The smokeless fuel falls through the stove. The top of the stove folds open to fit small pots and pans but isn't super sturdy, so it's a good idea to use brick or cement under the stove. I bought a grate that would stand on its own over the stove.

👤I brought this out to try it out since I usually use propane camp stove but they take up too much room in my emergency kit. This little device can boil water and comes with fuel tablets. You can use more than one tablet at a time to create more heat in the kitchen. It's small and portable. A metal cup is better with a lid. The tablets light up. The tablets are useless if you don't have a way to ignite them. I am not giving it a higher rating because of this. It's a good device for hiking, camping and emergency.

9. Augason Farms 72 Hour 1 Person Emergency

Augason Farms 72 Hour 1 Person Emergency

A 20 year shelf life is possible. 2, 667 calories per day. It is easy to prepare. Just add some water. The shelf life is up to 25 years. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms. The net weight was 4 lbs 0. 97 Z is 84 kilograms.

Brand: Augason Farms

👤Oh my gosh, so much complaining and whining. 1. If preparing for one person, divide the pouch into portions and only prepare 1 portion at a time. 2. Seal in a baggie or jar by rolling the opened top over. Unreconstituted leftovers are not bad in 3 days. 3. The dishes should be beefed up. Add canned chicken, dried vegetables, noodles, instant rice, lentils, or something similar. 4. Why am I looking at this product? Is it for survival or preparation? Is it for disasters? Thousands of books tell you how to get water, store water, and filter water. Food storage is discussed in the same books. The Forstchen book is a good starting point. 5. If you want to survive bad situations, you need to depend on yourself. Reality doesn't care about who you are. You will probably need to save yourself. Ask people who survived Sandy. 6. Today is a great day to start preparing for an uncertain future. Go to the grocery store and buy a box of rice, a jar of chicken bullion cubes, 3 cans of beans, and 2 cans of meat that you will eat. You can eat soup or casseroles for several days for under $10 now. The rest is on you, so remember. Prepare for the future.

👤The money has an outstanding value. The shelf life is 25 years. If you're in the market for long term food, you found the brand. Remember that in a "hunker down" situation, you're not likely to be in a hurry, so just take your time cooking it. My wife was pleasantly surprised by how decent these were. It would be enjoyable to eat this stuff and not die of starvation. Result, compared to normal food, was not bad at all. Result, considering that this stuff has been completely freeze dried and will last into my retirement.

👤Each entree or product is worth 72 hours for one individual but in a single package, so there are no complaints about this. If you want to use this for 9 meals, you need to open each entree and repackage it into three portions or cook it once and save the leftovers. I was hoping it would be packaged in a way that was convenient.

👤A pack of bananas. One pack of oatmeal says brown sugar, but it doesn't taste like it. The other three packs are just soup. The potato soup tastes good, but you want to add vegetables and meat. White soup is what it is. You have to make a huge pot of soup and store it. The humidity can get to open packs. The other packs were not the same as the banana chips. I will not buy it again. I tried to portion out the chicken and rice for a bowl. I got violently ill after eating it.

👤It was deceptive labeling. It's four big packages. If you're by yourself, you'll need a working refrigerator to keep the leftovers in. If you're buying this for a one person scenario, it's not realistic. I have been through an earthquake and I can tell you that grocery stores and electricity won't be there.

10. Odoland Camping Cookware Lightweight Backpacking

👤One of the best products I have ever purchased. It is easy to pack and use. I got it for a low price too. I don't think I would need to come for years for its excellent quality.

👤I was a bit worried about the quality of my Camping Cookware before I received my order. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the individual pieces. Even the utensils are sturdy and durable, from the pan size to the pot and kettles capacity. The set of cookware comes in a nice mesh bag with a drawstring and it's compact. I will be buying more sets for my family and friends in the future.

👤I went into the BWCA for a week and it was amazing. They held up well after being cooked over a fire. Can not complain! The big pot has extra room because it will cook enough food for 2 people. The tea kettle is great for quickly warming up water. The spoon knife and fork were not worth the price.

👤Not impressed with the quality. It works. I have some issues with it. First, why include two cups for two people, but only one set of utensils, and second, both cups stacked are much taller than the teapot and don't fit in the kit so you can't nest all the pieces inside each other like it implies in the pictures. The kit only has one cup. The handles on the pan and pot can swing open on their own while on the fire. They should be in the open or closed position. We are going on a camping trip in two weeks and will see how the non-stick surface handles eggs.

👤I haven't used them yet but they seem sturdy and came just as described despite being in a box with a different set on the front. The teapot was larger than I expected. The mesh bag holds it all together. They worked perfectly on a Coghlans stove. It doesn't stick like my last set did. The pan had to be moved a lot because the flame was small. The water was boiled for coffee. Great product!

👤I haven't tried it out in the outdoors but it works well on the stove. I was able to cook spaghetti in the pot, a chicken breast, bacon, and eggs in the pan, and boil water for ramen in a cup, as well as for coffee using a kettle. The silverware work well. I haven't used the cups yet but I can tell they will be good.

👤The cookware set is really cool. I don't use it for backpacking so I'm not concerned about its weight. When I looked at the box it was not what I had ordered, it was in it's own box with other items. I saw that it was the correct item when I removed it from the box.

👤I was initially skeptical about this set but was pleasantly surprised. Ignore the reviews that say you can't fit everything together. It fits perfectly if you arrange it correctly. I would recommend getting better silverware. The pot and pan are great for cooking. The handles can swing back in and become hot to handle. The teapot is small for two people, but the cups are large. A full kettle is enough to fill two mugs or cups. The weight is the biggest benefit. It takes very little space and weighs next to nothing. I recommend this set if you don't cook for more than two people.

👤I have used this set on many trips and it works well. The tank gets very tipsy and I would suggest getting some kind of support. Pick up the correct size gas tank. The first tank I picked up was a normal green Coleman tank. I had to get another tank that was the right size. There is a tank that fits the burner: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Butane-Propane-Fuel-7-75/dp/B000PY9T0S

👤I had this thing for roughly 6 hours, and I crashed it through the brush and woods, because I slipped and fell off the trail. All I wanted was a cup of tea to calm me down after I came to a stop. After opening my pack, I pulled it out and voila! Not a single scratch. It was fired right up. My cup was not as good as this set. The set up is very easy. Unless you cook for 2, the extra fork and spoon are pointless. My family will get to have a little guy of their own when they go camping on the 4th of July. The handles on the fry pan are only a minor annoyance. One was loose, so a small push from a ball peen hammer with a piece of wood in between, and it was back up. If you are looking for a first time stove, this is it. It is my kind of accident approved and it was here in 2 days. As all get out, that's quick.

👤The set is intended to be used in the wilderness. I put a test meal in the dishwasher after doing it at home. There is no warning on the packaging. I have a brand new set that is ruined. So disappointed. I love the set. The stove works well, the canister stand fits perfectly, and the spork seems stable. Plastic accessories are useless. It doesn't matter that there are so many other great accessories in this kit. Most of the accessories I kept fit inside the fuel canister. The company gave me a refund and sent me a new set. The description has been updated to say that it is not dish washer safe. The review has been updated to 5 stars because of my problems. I would buy this set again. As our camping crew grows, we will probably purchase more of these sets. camping with kids

👤I've used this kit on two extended snowshoe trips and one long day hike, and absolutely love it. After using a sterno stove for a year. I don't play well with other's. It's perfect for one person. The "Piezo" starter wouldn't start initially. I worked with it for a while after I got home, and it worked perfectly since. That was on me. I should have made sure the stove worked before I left. I would bet there was some form of factory residual that had to be worn off. The stove is made to last, and the fuel control works well. I compared the stove to a more expensive one my daughter use's, and the difference was too small to mention. The tripod is orange. If not supported, the small fuel container's can be unstable under the weight of a full pot or pan. The pot is large enough to hold Ramen. The handle's make it easy to clean and safe to handle them. I was warned not to clean the pan's in the dishwasher. I will take their advice, but I can't speak to that one way or the other. It arrived a day earlier than expected. Happy camping!
