It has a solid, durable and rugged case, diameter 50.0mm/1.96inch, durable and breathable nylon band, and is suitable for wrist from 7.08 to 9.45 inches, big watch face with large numbers. It's easy to read for time. There is a shielding cover. Arm Armour's cover protects the compass and makes it easy to read. A great addition to any gear. The tactical strap is widely used by adults and children. The black and black striped strap is 22mm wide. The hardware is made from brushed steel. The 27mm Grade A liquid-filled compass can be read in low-light conditions. The compass is inside of a rugged housing. It's necessary for activities like hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, hunting, and so many more.
👤This wrist-based compass works for me. I will only use it in the fog while swimming. I just swim east if it's foggy. I'm safe. There is a This might not work for you if you need precise directions. If you only need a general idea of the directions, you should be fine. There is a I can't attest to the glow-in-the-dark part. I'm hoping that by letting it receive sunlight between uses it will be enough to replenish it. You will be able to see the directions clearly. It works in the water. I don't recommend removing the compass from the wristband. I have not been able to slide the button back onto the wrist-mount since I did that for the first one. Unless you have it wrist-based again, don't do that. Good luck with your purchase. Will help with basic directions.
👤The cover is hard to open and you have to have the compass flat to get a right direction. It's about 20 degrees cooler.
👤To find the best products, ordered a few sun products. All good and have their place. It is recommendable.
👤It was nice to see a compass with a protective cover. It seems to be correct.
👤If you don't have a map or device to check directions, it's a good alternative.
👤The compass is easy to wear. The lume is not good for night or low light, it needs to be exposed to light often.
👤It didn't work for my father.
👤There are no negative comments for this wrist compass. It was easy to read. Would make a great gift.
👤I can't give a detailed review because it was for a gift. It arrived quickly and looked good. Have not received feedback from the recipient.
👤It was used as a quick and dirty guide when walking on the hill and made life easy when orienting the map. It's ideal for trail running new routes when on the move.
👤The recipient was delighted when he received a small and compact gift. The product was new, but the packaging looked a bit old. Maybe it had been kept there for a while. A good buy would be recommended.
👤Good functional compas are comfortable and accurate. A bigger dial would get it 5 out of 5.
👤Good compass and good delivery.
The solar charging lens uses custom power manager modes to achieve weekslong battery life. Carry out the mission, and train with a rugged yet sophisticated watch, featuring an always-on 1.4” display with black DLC-coated bezel and nylon band. There are ski maps for 2,000 ski resorts worldwide, multi-GNSS support and advanced navigation sensors. Applied Ballistics Elite software calculates aiming solutions for long-range shooting. Jumpmaster mode, waypoint projection, dual-position format, stealth mode and kill switch are some of the tactical features.
👤I think a lot of people rate products without actually using them. If you are going to spend $1200 on a watch and not give it a review until after the honeymoon, then you should. I have had this watch for a couple months now and I am completely underwhelmed by the price. I bought it because I work in blue collar crummy conditions that ruin my glass and cause me to watch with dirt, dust, high chlorine water, herbicides and insecticides all corrosive. I don't want to charge a watch with Frequency. I am outside for 5 days a week. As I type this review, I am charging my watch. The battery life is under 21 days. I have a HR monitor that is always on, without a gps or pulse ox. The watch band is terrible. It will leave a rash if you put it on too tight in the first month. If you wear it in the shower take it off. You will get a nasty soap rash if you don't. Do not buy this watch if you want accurate altitude measurement. I don't know where garmin gets its altitude measurement maps, but they are not accurate to anything I have in my area, based off our actual elevation land study. I don't trust the heart rate monitor as it is unreliable and unreliable to other methods of measuring heart rate. The app and software calculations for the calories burned is something I wanted the most with garmin. I use it to calculate against my calories for the week to see how far I've come. I believe it to be consistent. The notifications make the watch better. I can't get my phone out of my pocket fast enough. I like to see if a text will stop me from doing what I am doing. You can make your own responses. It should have the same ability as an apple watch with phone calls and voice text. I don't think the watch is very intuitive and it could use a refresh on the OS. I don't use the app as there is so much garbage. It needs to be more tailored to what I want. I think this watch is a hot blonde. She looks good and everyone is jealous, but she's mostly useless and comes with a price tag. I give it 3 stars if you have $1200 and are impulsive.
👤It was over priced for what it would do.
👤Only charge this once every two weeks. It seems to track health metrics better than any Apple Watch. I use the maps and the gps while hunting. I haven't tried the app yet. I am very happy with this watch.
👤A beautiful designed watch that does a lot and lasts a long time. It is a bit pricey. It is well worth it. I'll have this watch for a long time. Thank you for that!
👤I only wore it for a few hours. I have a small wrist. About 150. I did a few tests on the watch and it was very accurate. It looked like a frisbee on my arm, as much as I wanted to keep it. It is big. I liked it more than the Apple Watch, but I looked like a fool wearing it. For those who can rock it, a great watch, but for small guys like me, it's a bit too much. It was a quick return. For a watch of this value.
A wristwatch with a whistle and a fire starter is called a survival watch. The watch has a waterproof ring in the back cover and buttons to make sure that there is a strict defense. It can prevent rain, but it is not guaranteed to prevent swimming for a long time and intense swimming, and no key operation can be performed in the water. Those are the most important parts for outdoor survival. Those are the areas they focus on. The Bracelets use cheap compass, but they used the best. The watch size may be small for some people. Please check the size before ordering. The 86 cm rope military seven-core parachute can be used as a trap rope and can bear 250 lbs. after the rope strap was disassembled. You can use Magnesium rods and Scraper to get fire, and you can use High Decibel Whistle when you need it. There is a display and a water sprinkler. It is suitable for everyday use. The hand wash is waterproof. It's not suitable for soaking in water for a long time. Pressing a button under water will make reading the time much harder. A good gift is a perfectly equipped tool. It's perfect for hiking, backpacking, camping and military. They received feedback that the watch was too big for them. You should check the watch size before buying. Please contact them if you have a question.
👤It took a while to figure it out. To adjust it, you have to untie the paracord that has the metal fire starter on it and adjust it via the velcro, and then watch a video on how to retie the paracord.
👤I'm a big guy and the thing looks a little big on me. The watch is thick. It's a cheap watch that looks likeADIDAS, but it's hit and miss with the fire-starter and compass, and it's consistent but off. The alarm, time piece and stopwatch all work. I wanted a watch that I could wear while I worked on the farm and not worry if it fell off and my goats ate it. I can't give more than 3 stars to anything made this low-grade. If you magnetize the flint, you will be able to spark a fire. The compass is next to the flint. The compass is rendered useless by the fire starter. This is a poor choice.
👤The following was my experience. The watch will look correct on a body-building competitor if it is large or huge on a wrist. It's called the display The white. After being in the light, the hands can be clear to read. There is no digital readout. The green back light is not better. The CR2025 battery is provided. * A compass is a thing. It is relative. It is not a toy unit, but it is not the description. We used the best. * Whistle is a word. It works. The description is relative. * Paracord is a word. The rope is good. The 86 cm long rope military seven-core parachute that can bear 250 pounds and can be used as a trap rope was disassembled after the rope strap was removed. The watch strap is a strip of fabric that is folded in three-sided. The screws that connect the strap to the display are not real. The pop-out pin is easy to remove in survival mode, so no screwdriver is needed. The rubber guard on the screw/pin looks metal. The fire starter is what it is. I couldn't get it to work. The guitar pick is larger than the Scraper. The Magnesium rod was between the Plastic Side Release Buckle prongs. I never got to this point before I returned the watch. The 6-in-1 was a dream, but I liked the idea. I am carrying 6 different items again.
👤Since I became a volleyball official, I had to wear a watch. I decided to get one that I could use for a lot of things. Lifting my hand multiple times can change the direction that my front door is in. The compass told me it was S to W, but I believe it was W because it shifted from telling me it was S to W. This is not true in my opinion. I haven't tried out any of the other aspects, but it still will serve a decent amount of functions that I wanted when forced to buy a watch. If the waterproof/compass weren't an important aspect of an outdoor watch, I wouldn't have given it 5 stars, but I did give it a 3.
All TITAN survival gear comes with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. Return the product if you don't like it. No questions were asked. There is a shielding cover. The cover of the compass keeps it protected and makes it easy to read. It is a perfect wilderness accessory for hiking, camping, backpacking, or any outdoor activity you can think of. The 20mm Grade A liquid-filled compass can be read in low-light conditions. It's a great addition to any adventure. WristTurtle can be attached to homemade paracord bracelets and fits most watch bands. It is a simple addition to any watch or bracelet.
👤My first Sun Company Turtle compass was this one. I broke my first one. I wear a compass on my G-Shock. I've worked on cars, the garage, built decks, walls, and other things. My watch and compass are always with me. It is with me when I go camping. If you need an accurate general direction, you can use this little compass. The cover stays closed even if you open it hundreds of times. It is correct as my Sylva Ranger. I will have one of these as long as I can get them. The quality in my book is very good.
👤The edges of the case have sharp corners that dig in to my wrist, which seems to be spot on. I have to buy a different style band. Customer service is excellent, so I can use it. I was offered another product free of charge to make up for the issue I had. Customer service is important.
👤The protective cover closes. It was fluid filled. If exposed to a few seconds from a flashlight, it glows in dark. If we are separated, I have a full-size compass in my pack that will do the job. Compass is magnetized and any metal will alter readings, so it will not work within a few inches of metal. The tool is small and easy to carry. I thought of putting my boot lacing in the slots.
👤This is big enough to see easily but not too big that it gets in the way of my watch. I didn't even notice that I had it on. Since I practice the Tibetan 5 rites everyday and need to know where North is so I can face the proper direction during each exercise, it's nice to have a compass everywhere.
👤The internal slide lot for the compass looks like it might be loose. That can be fixed with Gorilla tape. The plastic is strong. The cover has a roll pin on it. If you keep it away from strong electrical and magnetic fields, it will work. Its always pointing north. Long sleeved shirts won't work with this bulky design. I don't think it's meant to be heavy duty. It's ideal for trail hikes.
👤This little compass is very cute. I don't know if I would wear it on a wrist strap on a regular basis. I love the protective lid on it. I put a backup compass in a pouch on my dive knife and bought it. The cap keeps it from being oil filled and it works underwater. It was taken down to 50 feet without any issues. I have two of them.
👤I would have liked the compass to be more accurate, but it is a wrist compass and not a government compass. The cap protects the face of the compass and helps cut down on light at night. I am a retired military man and have a compass as well as a critical piece of survival gear.
👤A little. I wanted to add it to my car which has no compass. Can't see it when driving, needs a light and bigger one. It might be ok if you add on a watch for hiking.
A compass points the way, a barometer tells the Trend in air pressure, and an altimeter tracks your movement. The weather trend indicator is built into the barometer. The functions are as follows: compass, temperature, steps track, alarm, and back light. The bulit has a nylon band, a case and a watch. There is a note. The watch is heavy. A built-in Swiss high precision sensor and 18 months long battery life help you do all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports. It is a great companion for many activities.
👤I never go for the high dollar ones at the gun club because they always get damaged there, and I go through tactical training there occasionally. The blow back of high caliber rifles seems to suck out the watches as well. I heard from a friend that there are tactical watches, and I found this one with really nice specifications, and it looked good as well. It looks and feels like a nice piece of hardware. The buttons are well made and not cheap, but they push cleanly and accurately, which is a big plus when wearing tactical gloves. The barometer, altimeter and temperature readings are awesome and I love them all. When I adjust my scope for the round that I am firing, I need to find a place where the elevation is needed. A good way to double check is in the field. Even with night glares, the light is bright enough to see perfectly. I love the watch band, it matches my gear perfectly. My eyes are not what they used to be, and I can make this watch without my eye glasses, which is a big perk for me. I can't see the time because most watches are packing all the features into the face. I am very happy with the purchase of this watch, I could not find any cons with it.
👤I have been able to start hiking in the fall. I have been wearing a hiking watch for over a month. I like gadgets but they don't hold up during mini-expeditions in the Northern Michigan elements. I wear it whenever I do outdoor sports. This watch is used for attention at work. The cakcity watch has a great looking military style, the watch body and wrist band are black. It has a big face and big digitals that are clear to read. The design style of the watch is compatible with my clothing. It is very attractive to me. I mostly use the ABC functions when I ride mountain bikes, swim, and hike. The metal compass and garmin gps were tested against the compass. The Barometer and the Altimeter do not change much in my terrain. To measure the ambient temperature, I simply remove the watch and let it stay on. The double buckle design is easy to remove. This watch has all the functions I need. If you use a different shipping address to send this watch as a gift, you and the person receiving it will not be disappointed. The presentation of the watch when you open it gets a wow factor and raised eyebrows because of the expensive appearance of the gift box. This is a tactical watch.
👤It's a great looking watch, but it's not good because it's hard to read in any lighting.
👤Functions work well. The watch is heavy and can be abused. I replaced the NATO band with a survival bracelet because one of the watch pin springs broke. I have had no problems with the watch being in salt and fresh water.
It can be made in the USA or imported.
👤I wanted a watch that was easy to use. Look through the G-shock watches on Amazon before making a decision. The price and positive reviews made me pick this one. The face of the watch is dark, and the picture is slightly inaccurate. The light for this watch is adequate after reading the reviews. 1.5 seconds or 3 is enough to read the digital time section at the bottom. It's not a major issue, but it would be better if it was brighter. I would like to see this watch have some glowing properties on the hands. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.
👤This is a great watch that has features. It is hard to read if you have good close-up vision. There are two models, one with dark hands on a light background, and the other with light hands on a dark background. I have the latter and would describe it as shiny hands on a shiny background. I struggle to read it in good light unless I angle it just right. The hands don't glow in the dark. If you hold the light button continuously, it will illuminate the watch face for about a second, but if you hold the light button continuously, it won't illuminate either the analog or digital display. The watch face is busy, so you can see a lot of points of gold-colored light, but I can't see where the hands are. It is easier to read in the attached photo if you don't face the one second limit. I only use reading glasses for low-light reading because my vision is good. I would only recommend this watch to young eyes with perfect vision because it is the first watch I have ever struggled to read.
👤Hate this. Who put a light that looked like it was going out in this thing? Worst design ever. The light is faulty and cannot see the hands or the digital. Send it back. Without a flashlight, it's not possible to use in the dark. Sorry. I loved the look of it. Too much of the 24 hours are dark to waste my life lugging a flashlight around so I can see what time it is on my watch.
👤I found the best price when I bought it in 2015. For the past 2 years, watch has been worn every day and has been through around 5 obstacle course races. Mud, water, snow, ice, and all other types of weather have been seen by the watch. Even with all the abuse over the past 2 years, there were only minor scratches on the face and wristband. Sometimes, people compliment the watch on how nice it is. Would purchase again at a price under $90 bucks.
👤I have had this watch for two and a half years and it has held up well. It has been 80 feet down in the ocean and there have been no leaks or issues. I work and have cars and motorcycles. The band is holding up well. I like that it has a 4 alarm feature. It's both analog and digital. It's easy to use. The first one lasted over 10 years and I decided to replace it because it began to glitch and reset itself. I need something that can stand up to abuse. The G-shock is a long lasting watch.
200M/100M is water resistant. A round watch with a black digital dial has a colorful bezel and five daily alarms. A 45mm case with a mineral dial window. The band has a buckle closure.
👤I use the watch daily at my job as a law enforcement officer and for my outdoor adventures from kayaking to running. I have been wearing a Timex watch for a long time. When looking for temp and compass sensors, it was not a good idea to switch to Casio. The menu system is not the same as Timex. There is a The blue and orange color scheme is nice. The black glass is hard to see because of its reflective nature. You might not be able to see without watching awkwardly or angling your head. There is a The temperature reading is higher because of your body. It will be 8 degrees warmer. The compass was fairly accurate. There are no complaints from me. While rotating, the compass was very responsive. There is a If I knew what I knew, I would get the normal background. The twin sensor limits your options. There is a different model.
👤Extra features on this watch are useless for everyday life, but I love it! It works, but I don't know if the compass is accurate. When the thermometer is off for 30 minutes, it is accurate. I don't know how waterproof it is. The other functions work. It is a fun wrist accessory. The negative display is harder to read than the positive display, but I think it looks impressive.
👤I bought this watch because I wanted a tough, inexpensive, and not-too-bulky digital watch with a compass and world time, without features like barometer and altimeter which make many watches uncomfortably large. The first impression I had of this watch was that it was lightweight and low profile, which is not what I would have thought. I don't recall that it's on my wrist. The compass seems to be accurate when compared to a magnetic compass. If you want, there is a feature to set magnetic declination. The compass displays for a short time, which is annoying, but it is long enough to convey the necessary information, and shut off to conserve battery life. The compass was easy to use. This is not a G-Shock or a Pathfinder, so you don't get the degree of shock resistance those product lines are known for. The watch would likely hold up to some abuse, being water resistant to 20 bar, and with a scratch resistant mineral crystal. I am willing for it to be damaged, but I can already tell that it will last me a long time as a "beater" watch. The negative display is a subject of much debate, and I read a lot of reviews addressing this issue before buying this watch. I am able to read the display just fine under all conditions, and I am willing to bet that some of the complaints people have about lighting and angles of view on the negative display would also apply to the positive display. I find the negative display aesthetically pleasing. I've seen negative displays on other watches, but this one is more readable. The world time feature is useful. You can cycle through time zones with your home time zone still showing in the smaller display window at the top left. Some of the criticisms of other reviewers are shared by me. The light comes on for 2 seconds and is annoying. The stop watch only lasts up to an hour before it stops again. This seems too short. Would have liked the option to use a NATO strap. This watch is perfect for me. I wanted to spend less on a wrist watch than I would on a smart phone, and I wanted no more features than I needed. I wanted a compass and world time. I would be happy to trade the thermometer for sunrise and lunar information.
It can be an add on to your collection. Birthday, promotion, Thanksgiving, Christmas, friendship, Easter, engagement, wedding, anniversary, boy scout day, graduation, father's day, and so on can be gifted. A perfect gift for your family, friends, Son, Father, Daughter, Mother, Grandparents, partner, lover, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Husband, Wife, Fiancé, Fiancée. Magnetic North and True North are not the same. The Sun Company ProSight Map compass has a dial that makes it easy to get the most precise reading. Military survival or search and rescue situations need an essential piece of equipment. LUMINOUS ROTATING BEZEL - The compass is rotating for easy bearings. One of the premier compasses for low-light situations is the Dial. There is a protective cover for the gun. The compass is protected from damage. Open the cover to see the mirror. The dial for measuring the height of any landmark has a clinometer in it. Instructions are included for setting declination, taking bearings, and measuring target heights. A great learning tool for kids. There are more features. Other features include a jewel bearing, 3X magnifying glass, 4 map scales, inch andmm rulers, a break-away safety lanyard, and silicone anti-slip foot pads. The map compass is the perfect tool for a survivalist.
👤I was skeptical at first about buying a compass from Amazon, but my heart lead me to it and I went through with it. This is where you want to put your money. Better than any of the other compasses. It's accurate and has all the features you need to get back home. Even accommodates for declination. The instructions are difficult. Will teach you how to use a compass. It is explained in the most simple terms. You will not regret buying this compass.
👤The best option is the one that has everything you need. It is easy to set dispersion.
👤I'm very happy with the compass. The baseplate and compass allow you to place it on a map and adjust for magnetic declaration.
👤It's what I needed. Use it all the time when hunting. A compass like this one will always take me back to my vehicle when I take Sightings before I leave the vehicle. It's easy to use.
👤It arrived quickly. It arrived undamaged. The compass seems to be accurate. It is easy to set declination. Useful when used with military maps. It's important to have confidence in your compass and this one fits the bill.
👤Use it for search and rescue.
👤I don't have any complaints. After purchasing a different brand, and returning the one that was faulty, I ordered this one instead. Very pleased to be where I am.
👤It is very similar to other brands.
This clip-on quartz watch can be attached to a belt loop, uniform or backpack, so you can get it anywhere and anytime, and you can also add some small pendants on it to decorate the watch. The backpack belt watch is made of zinc alloy and glass and can serve for a long time when you are outside. The dial and hands of the pocket watch glow in the dark, it's easy to carry, and the watch is lightweight. You can send a gift to your family members, friends, colleagues, some nurse or doctor friends, someone who likes outdoor activities as a pretty gift, the watch can help you read the time easily and share with them together. The size of the watch is 7.8 x 3.8 cm/ 3.1 x 1.5 inch, portable size can bring you convenience, the package include 2 piece clip-on quartz watches, enough for your daily use and replacement or as a backup, the size is 7.8 x 3.8 cm/ 3.1 x 1.5 inch
👤I use this watch for backpacking. I did not want a regular wristwatch, so I wanted a watch that I could attach to a pack strap and look at. The watch looked great when I received it. I liked the metal case and clip. It rained when I was backpacking. The watch was hanging on a pack shoulder strap, and it got moist. They only advertised it as splash proof, but I would have expected better. I couldn't get the watch crystal to dry out even when the outside dried off. I noticed a rust spot. I noticed it was losing time. I wouldn't recommend this watch.
👤Both have defects. The clip needs to be pulled over to close because it doesn't align correctly. The second does not have a problem with the clip. It was almost 30 minutes slow after two hours. There were no instructions in the packages. The time adjustment button needs to be removed in order to engage the battery. It was difficult to remove and I had to use small pliers. I wouldn't recommend this product. I wondered why two were offered. I think I know...
👤The watch works well in the cold. It is on my vest. I can keep track of time and vitals. I'm amazed at how long it will last for a low price. It is not very impact resistant but the 4 watches on 4 different patrollers have only had one watch fail in 4 months of skiing. They are on our vest, which is just like a coat, when it comes to putting it in the car.
👤During the covid epidemic, I wanted to have nothing on my hands or wrist to make hand washings easier. The carabiner watch seemed to be the answer. I had owned a brand that was much heavier and more expensive than the one that failed in a few months. I miss the color, but this one is lighter and keeps time very well. This has been a great solution.
👤I really like these. They are great watches. I like the way they look, and they are accurate, so I have one on my belt loop. They glow in the dark for those who need it. I think they're a good choice.
👤The hands fell off when it fell onto the carpet.
👤I gave these to my students because they are moving up after 3-4 years in my classes. The carabiner is solid and heavy enough to suggest that it won't break anytime soon. The boxes were thrown into plastic bags with no padding. Two of my students left my room empty-handed, one had a crushed face, and the other had internal damage. When the replacements arrive, I will have to mail theirs to them. The broken watches will be returned more securely packed than I got them, and the replacements will be padded prior to being sent to my students. On quality and shipping, 5 and 0, respectively.
👤I've used belt clip watches for 20 years. They are better than wrist watches. I use one for everyday wear and another for yard or mechanical work. Tjes seem to have a thick glass. I set the time and checked it every few days.
The solar-powered sport watch has a digital dial with a day/date display and backlight. Features triple sensor, atomic timekeeping, low-temperature resistance, digital compass with bearing memory, and four daily alarms with snooze. The band has a fold-over-push-button-clasp. The water is resistant to 200 m. The measuring range is 700 to 10,000 m.
👤I have had this watch for 2.5 years and it has held up well. It is a dumpster fire. The main housing of the watch is plastic. The back cover is not the body. I have a cheap plastic body because the paint has worn off. The titanium band scratches easily. There are better options for a watch that costs more than $300. If you leave the watch on a tree stump for 15 minutes, the temperature will only be read if you take the watch off. I am looking for a simple solar field watch.
👤I have been a fan of the G-Shocks for a long time. I have never tried out their line. The first thing that blew me away with this magnificent time piece was how light it is, especially when most of the watch is made out of metal. This watch feels lighter than my G-Shock watches which are made of mostly plastic and this watch is made of metal. The watch is casual and rugged at the same time. The watch has a lot of sensors and the light on it is better than any light on a G-Shock. This watch is technologically advanced. I am a die hard G-Shock fan and this watch is twice the watch any G-Shock can ever be. I am now a fan of the Pro Trek line. The watch is worth the price. I recommend getting it.
👤I returned the PRW 2500T that I bought and bought this one. I bought this after seeing a review that said the screen made the secondary features look blue. I found the display hard to read, against the dull grey background, so I had to turn on the light to see it. The small size of time digits made them seem smaller than the large year digits which took up a lot of space. The night light is not very bright. I like the moon phase indicator on the PRW 2500T, but I no longer fish the ocean and tide display is no longer needed. The PRW3500T-7CR's barametric display and acute pressure change warning is useful to alert for sudden thunder storms while on the lake. I swapped the PRW 2500T for the PRW 3500T-7CR which has a much brighter, clear display and large time digits. It is much easier to read at night. The PRW 2500T display isuddy and dull, but the display on line is bright and crisp. The difference between the two is striking.
👤The case for this watch, as it was shipped in the first quarter of the year, is hard-COATED. The material is recycled. The case is made of STAINLESS STEEL, not titanium. The band is called TITANIUM. The emergency replacement for PathFinder PAG70-T is my ProTrek PRW-3500T-7CR. The PAG70-T has no Atomic Clock sync capabilities, but it has a very sharp looking, "dressy" appearance, as great looking with any suit as with any wilderness survival loadout. The PAG70-T's case is titanium-clad over-resin, with a STAINLESS steel back and titanium wristband, and no rotating outer bezel, at the time of loss, my PAG70-T was still going as strong as possible. The built-in calendar was due to expire in 2039, but I was only going to cross that bridge in 2040. The timer would repeat the original count if left uncancelled. That was an unbelievably useful feature. All PAG70-T alarms are audible in a room or under a jacket sleeve. I missed that PAG70-T for all the work I did. The PRW-3500T-7CR outclasses the PAG70-T. Every day, I use an atomic clock sync from Fort Collins, with a "L1" signal strength, which is reported by the watch. A calendar through 2099. The water resistance is 200M. "V3" is a triple sensor. Also. I'm not quite as impressed with the PRW-3500T-7CR as I hoped to be. The alarms on the PRW-3500T-7CR are disappointing. A thick jacket is enough to smother the weak alarms. The timer cannot be set to auto-lap when left uncancelled. The alarm duration is 10 seconds and not configurable for longer notifications. One of the five daily alarms is a "snooze" alarm that repeats at intervals for 30 minutes. If you can't hear it, what is a snooze alarm good for? I have to wear my PRW-3500T-7CR on my right wrist for a while. After several reference temperature calibrations, the V3 thermometer gives closer to actual room temperature readings than the PAG70-T; typically less than 5 degrees Farenheit warmer than ambient air temp. The sleeve cover will skew wrist worn temperatures higher than ambient room due to confined body heat. The V3 barometer is reasonably accurate after a series of daily checks. The V3 altimeter is not as accurate as the older PAG70-T, but I am still optimistic that I will be able to achieve more accurate readings with the daily checks. Sunrise and sunset times are accurate if latitude and longitude are entered into the settings. Unless you are located in one of the preset Time Zone cities, this is not the same as setting the Time Zone. If your watch doesn't illuminate evenly across the entire watch face, then you may have missed something. The PAG70-T is larger than the PRW-3500T-7CR, which may cause problems for smaller wrist sizes. I had to remove four wristband links to get a functionally comfortable fit. Each link pin of the titanium wrist band is retained in place by a single 1mm diameter split "clinch barrel ring" that can easily slip in and out of the one "receiver" side of the short prong of each link. The link pin can't be moved out of the wristband by sheer force of the link pin, so it passes through the tight barrel ring and the clinch barrel ring. The link pin holds the barrel ring in its proper place, but it is not immediately apparent to an inattentive observer. The clang barREL RING will fall out of place if a wristband link pin is removed. I don't know of a source for replacement barrel rings for this wristband. I disassembled my wrist band over a large tray with a raised lip edge and a white tray liner. I could see the TINY barrel ring fall onto the tray liner as each link pin was carefully removed, using only the force absolutely necessary and a proper pin removal tool. I had to use a needle tip to place the ring back into the RECEIVER side of the link, so that it wouldn't fall off. I used a vice grip to hold the two links together, and then I put the link pin through the links and the barrel ring. The vice grip held the links together in-place, so that I could rotation the band with the ring now facing downward. This was the easiest way to adjust the wrist band. Should you decide to change your wrist band, don't lose the barrel rings. The link pins will fall out if you don't have them. The only reasonable and durable way to fix a lost barrel ring is with a red-grade kludge. There is a fully inserted link pin. The customer service from Casio is terrible. If you get a lemon, replace it with a lemon that works as advertised. When a Casio watch works AOK from the first day, it will continue to do so until you lose it or destroy it. I have learned that Casio Customer Service has never been there for me.
It can be made in the USA or imported.
👤I needed a watch that could keep going and take a beating. I realized I didn't have a watch that was comfortable exposing to that kind of abuse when I got a job where I am constantly getting dirty, sweating and crawling around in the dirt. What did I do? I spent a lot of time researching G shock and similar watches. I read many reviews on Amazon and watched a lot of videos. I was in deep. This is what I came up with in the end. It was like love at first sight when I opened the box, I only had it for a week. I have no worries about it being6753167531675316753167531675316753167531 Once I have broken this bad boy in, I would like to do an update review. Stay informed. I still wear this watch seven months after I got it. I work 5 out of 7 days a week. This watch has seen some things that are quite literally, as well as metaphorically. I have never once been concerned about getting this watch dirty or wet, because it is built like a tank and I have never been concerned about getting it too wet. This watch is large. There is no arguing about it. Only you can decide if that is something that will bother you. It is a fair trade off to me. Unless I have a lot of layers on, I don't care about the size. If you have a lot of layers on, most watches might feel uncomfortable and bunched up on your wrist. It's not really a big deal. I thought it was worth mentioning. I find it to be quite comfortable, even though it is larger. I have a wrist that is less than 7 inches. This watch does not affect my wrist. It is extremely accurate in its ability to keep time, and that is my favorite thing about it. I don't have to worry about changing the time or date. It is easy to read in all light and conditions. The feature where you raise and turn your wrist to turn on the backlight is particularly useful. I almost never have to use that feature. Press any of the buttons. There are a lot of features on this watch. I don't use a compass or a thermometer. I don't use them. The moon phase icon is the same. It is cool to have it there, but I don't use it very often. It is tucked away to the side and out of the way. The second hand icon is pretty cool, but I think it is just that. Adding a little wonder to the face of the watch is what it does. I find myself staring at it sometimes. This watch is powered by the sun. The battery has mostly stayed on High since I had it, with only dropping down to Medium over the past month or so. I've never set it out in the sun to replenish it. I might do that some time. I am happy with my purchase, and I plan on updating my review later on. Cheers!
