1. UCO Flatpack Portable Stainless Steel

UCO Flatpack Portable Stainless Steel

The kit weight is 1.7 oz. (48 g) The grill folds to 1.5 inches thick and can be used as a fire pit, and comes in regular or mini sizes. The regular size has a grilling area of 13 x 10 inches and the mini has a grilling area of 9 x 6.75 inches. The sides of the grill serve as a wind break. It's constructed from durable steel to provide high rust and resistance to fire.

Brand: Uco

👤Are you ready for this? One baked potatoe, one bulb of garlic, and two chicken thighs all at the same time, wrapped in tinfoil, with ease. My lid was made out of tinfoil. An old wok lid was used to hold a wood dowel. The lid was pushed together with three tinfoil containers. It took ten coals. The potato and garlic were on for a while. Everything was done in half an hour. I should have taken a picture of the food. I think I could have gotten away with eight coals. The probe was reading 400 degrees. This is a small thing that I love. I will be going for camping with my fire kit. I finally found a small boy that works. I have many different kinds of camping grills and stoves. I feel like a collector. I am trying to say that I have paid my dues with camping gear. I know when it fits in the cut. I am a solo truck camper. This is perfect for me. I think my lid works well. There was a hole in the side of the lid. It is difficult to keep it under 400 degrees. That is ok. The chicken was over the side that was indirect. Put a potato naked on the indirect side. A perfect baked potatoes with crinkle skin were covered with a lid. I like them the way they are. I am experimenting by closing the holes on the charcoal side to keep the heat down. I wrapped the chicken wire around the side holes of the wall with tinfoil. It was separated down the middle for indirect cooking. You can pile the coals on one side and not have to make a tinfoil V separation barrier. It is not a smoker. This grill can do it all in a mini version, but I am not that adventurous. It was fun wiring this little jewel.

👤I took it on a trip, not for camping. I tried it out to see how much heat it could produce. We lit the snow and watched the sunset until it was dark, it kept us warm. We'll have two fire pits once we finish cooking, I'll be ordering a second one, one for grilling and another for warmth. Very impressed. I've only used it as a fire pit to save wood, but I'm about to order a 3rd for my second home because it keeps me warmer than the chimenea. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, but I'm very impressed with the product.

👤It works well. There was little heat downward. Don't touch the bottom of the grill or the legs. This is an alternative to gas campfires. I use it as a firepit on camping outings because I don't want to deal with purchasing wood bundles and trying to get them going. I use starter logs. They burn in here for about an hour. I use twigs to make a wood smoke effect. The grill is small and can be carried in a backpack or purse. It comes with a carry sack that looks like canvas. It would be great for half a bag of the "light the bag and briquettes all-in-one" BBQ coals.

2. UCO 6 Piece Camping Utensil Classic

UCO 6 Piece Camping Utensil Classic

The bowl and plate connect with an airtight seal and the collapsible camp cup is included with the kit. Two-piece Switch Spork set features a dedicated fork, knife, and spoon, or connects together to form an extra long utensil, made from durable reinforced glass nylon. The bowl and plate have grips on the bottom to prevent slippage. The kit is 8 x 8 x 3 inches. 6 pounds, dishwasher and microwave-safe.

Brand: Uco

👤We just returned from a backpacking trip in the High Uinta Mountains of Utah, which did not meet our expectations. The seal between the bowls was not very tight. I would have hoped that the bowl would hold things. It was easy to spill things because there wasn't much to grab onto. The utensil combo on the outside was pretty annoying. The utensils got in the way when we tried to pack them in our backpacks or slide them in. I would rather have a small thing that fits inside than a large thing that is outside. This combo of a mess kit was not very good. I missed the return day because we got back to where we were. We want to return them.

👤My boyfriend and I got the blue and orange sets. We went to Colorado with no time to come back to our home base, so we put the money down to get some new dishes. We didn't have to go and buy paper and plastic products. They don't take up a lot of space, once you clean everything, you can collapse the mug, put it between the plates and tie the rubber band across, which has the spoon and fork attached. The only problem I had was that the instant coffee stained the inside of my mug. We didn't have to seal liquids inside because the plates were sealed well, but everything held up well. It was perfect for us and lasted us through our rough outdoorsy trip. If you don't want to waste money and space on throw-away products, this is a great recommendation.

👤A lot of reviews complain about the container not being sealed. You just need to press the container together using the "lids" as an example. This will cause a vacuum and pull the seal shut. The company states on their website that the seal can come loose if the container is moved around during hiking or other strenuous activities. I believe it's meant to be a mess kit first. If you are looking for a mess kit, get a tupperware or a ziploc and use it as a mess kit. I'm going on a tour with a musical. We are going to be living in hotels and packing light is important. The mess kit is lightweight, compact, and can double as storage for small items when we move from city to city. I bought it because I like the features and am excited to see how it holds up. Thanks!

👤I received this item today. I opened the package expecting to find the spork/elastic band inside the container, but only the cup was there. It includes rubber band and eating utensils. I'm trying to contact the seller but have no luck. This time, Amazon sent a replacement and it was complete. They sent one before I shipped it. I have purchased the Uco mess kit before. This item is very good. It's perfect for BBQ, camping, picnics, and everyday use.

👤This is a great kit. The utensils are easy to clean and the cup is collapsible. The cup works for both hot and cold. The bowl has a top that you can use as an extra plate or as a top for the bowl to keep your food hot, and it creates a good seal. Highly recommended.

3. UCO 2 Piece Integrated Camping Utensil

UCO 2 Piece Integrated Camping Utensil

The kit is 8 x 8 x 3 inches. 6 pounds, dishwasher and microwave-safe. The camping spork utensil set includes a full-size fork, full-size knife/spoon combo, and reuse tether. Utensils can be used separately to enjoy a meal or connected end-to-end for use as a prep and serving piece. The spoon/knife can be attached to a backpack or mess kit with the included bungee tether. Utensils are made from high strength glass nylon for resistance to temperature and weathering.

Brand: Uco

👤I've been using this "spork" for a while and like it because it's made of nylon, so it doesn't scratch, and allows me to use it almost like regular utensils. The spoon is not all that comfortable and I would give it 5 stars. This knife will cut most things. The edge of the knife ends up in your hand when you use the spoon. The spoon and fork are held uncomfortable because of the knife's pointed blade. The nylon is easily stained by food, which is not much of a concern for me. I would recommend getting a dark color if this bothered you. I like this item because it is compact and nylon can be extended and tough. I would suggest that you get rid of the steak knife. I carry a folder and a Swiss Army knife for the tools if I need a knife. Most people don't need a knife built into the "spork". It would be nicer to handle the fork / spoon with this method. If you think it's necessary to include a knife, I would suggest you use a butter style knife that has a rounded end, which would make the fork and spoon nicer to handle. I would suggest that the knife has less aggressive serrations so it's more a knife to help push food onto the fork and spread butter. I tried filing off most of the knives serrations but it didn't help the shape. If the knife end was more rounded, the spork would be more comfortable to use.

👤I keep it in my lunch bag because a knife and fork can cause a hole in the bag. I like this design because you can use it as a fork or a spork. You have a knife as well. The only downside is that it feels weird, but what can you do? I thought the knife was going to be dull. A five star rating for a great product, a great price and a clever design. It was only around $5.00 when I bought it a few months ago and now it's over $7.00 which is kind of a bummer.

👤It's more useful in food preparation when it's longer than the competition. Don't cut the cord that is holding the product to the backing. This stretch material can be used to attach the tool to your bag or pack.

👤I was tired of throwing away utensils. I have them in my kit for meals and they don't break when cutting into tough food. If you want to save some trash and have a better set of eating tools, this is the place to go.

👤Nige cuts meats well, they nest securely, when fitted end t ok end they reach the bottoms of bags of meals, spoon shape holds food well without being uncomfortable in the mouth, comes with its own elastic strap for easy attaching to mess kits and fits easily inside the uco plate If the spoon had a spatula tip, this would be better. You will not regret buying this.

4. UCO Original Candle Lantern Powder

UCO Original Candle Lantern Powder

You can use the lantern when the power goes out. It's not necessary to wait for a few hours to charge. There are 2 - 9 hour candles in the kit. The aluminum has a powder-coated finish. The construction is lightweight yet durable. The hanging hook and heat shield are spring loaded. The chimney is easy to slide. The sport type is camping and hiking.

Brand: Uco

👤Many of the reviews of this item were written by me. The container suggested that the reflector was junk and didn't fit in. I have followed good suggestions from others. I used needle nose pliers to bend the tab at the top. After lighting hook it to the glass. Getting the light out of your eyes is helped by the reflector. The container doesn't fit the reflectors well. I was told to bend the reflector around the unit until it fit. It worked as well. The disconfiguration at the top of the reflector was not enough to affect the operation. Good calls. I'm happy with the results. I need to use a car headlight lens cleaner to polish the reflector. Simple steps will improve your experience with the unit. Thank you guys!

👤I've used a brass candle lantern for a long time. It's great for camping when you don't want the noise of a Coleman lantern, but just need a little light to light a small area. I have never had a problem with the wax dripping into the candle holder, but I don't move it much after it's lit, so maybe that helps. citronella, bees wax, and UCO candles all work well for their intended purpose. I haven't noticed a difference between the UCO brand candles and other brands. They all work well for me. I was happy that the kit had a reflector. I have several mini and micro lanterns, and I use a reflector with them. Sometimes I use the reflector with the original lantern to block the light from shining towards me. I made a small bag out of T-shirt material to carry it in, while protecting it, after polishing the reflector. I put the candle lantern in when I tuck the drawstring in the cocoon, and it protects the lantern and the reflector. I have a couple of top hat reflectors that work well at directing the light down, for example when the lantern is hanging over a table or in a tent. I have made protective bags for these reflectors as well. I use the original sizes of mini lanterns in my emergency kits, and also put a mini lantern in each of my emergency kits. I'm very happy with my candles, and will buy more if I need them. If you need a soft light for camping, emergency kits, or a small heat source in a tent, I would recommend them. These lights are easy to use.

👤The idea is novel, but the design is poor. The pictures speak for themselves, so I tested it out in our home to see if it would be worth it. I lit the candle and set it on the fireplace for three hours. The lantern became dangerously hot, the glass turned black, and the wax became a mess. I think this could work, but I think you should go back to the drawing board.

👤The glass chimney is cracked after I received the original UCO lantern. The lid is very cheap. The glass was cracked. The build quality is not worth the price. I bought a new chimney to replace the broken one, and it was delivered two days ago. I burned the candle to the end after installing it in the holder. I decided to replace the candle because of the amount of wax that dripped between the glass and candle housing. What a mess! I will have to heat the wax to release the chimney. Hopefully the glass won't be broken. The product is flawed. I would give it a -10 for a rating. I'm tired of buying broken products. Don't buy this product.

5. UCO Stormproof Waterproof Matches Strikers

UCO Stormproof Waterproof Matches Strikers

Light color: Warm White, the package is 6 x solar candle. If you have a problem, please contact them. They will try their best to serve you. The match case can hold up to 40 matches. After being submerged in water, the matches will relight, burning up to 15 seconds each. The case is waterproof and keeps contents dry and protected. The extended length of match allows for added safety. The kit weight is 1.7 oz. (48 g)

Brand: Uco

👤I used these in a bug out bag. I was reviewing the contents of my bag when I decided to test a match. I lit a match while sitting on my bed and tried to shake it off before it burned my fingers. When the red part was burned through the flame, the panic was not necessary. Even though I am concerned, I am impressed that even a small flame in the sink wasn't enough to stop the fire before it got to the red part. After it was held in the water, it sparked back up again as soon as it was removed. It is inconvenient for lighting in a bedroom to be in a damp camping or emergency setting. Thanks for the great matches. I need to air out my studio because it smells like smoke and flame.

👤I wouldn't count on the matches in an emergency. I might use them as a last resort. The wooden stick is weak and skinny. When you strike it, it will break. On the first try. I know that these are flimsy because I'm the guy who never breaks the wooden stick on traditional wooden matches. They only burn for about 7 to 9 seconds. There is no near 15 seconds. If you don't have a stick to hold, it will burn your fingers if you try to get the match where you want it. It should be removed and stored inside the container. You can strike these on any of the material. The cotton tinder is used to keep the matches from rattling around. The container is cheap Chinese plastic, and you can either get a good one or a bad one. I have two bad ones. Garbage is what the o-rings are. I had to replace the o-rings on the two I ordered because they weren't waterproof. I would have just bought the refill and used my own container. You can buy these at wallymart for 5 bucks. A box of kitchen matches is cheaper than foreign made matches, and would probably save your life. So if these aren't great, what is that? The Zippo Typhoon are better than the others.

👤3 of the 5 day trip were in the pouring rain. It was difficult to light a fire due to the soaked matchea. They're great, but they won't save wet tinder. I had to get a good flame by soaking a cotton ball in Vaseline and using a feather stick. The striking surface wears out very quickly, though matches didn't let me down. I wonder if the wet contributed to its quick wear, as I had to replace it after 10 lights. I recommend them. Without them, my fire wouldn't have started.

👤This is a good product. The container is very visible. Extra strips for striking your matches and cotton to help keep the humidity in check are included. The wax seal was ruined by the match stick's protective coating sticking to the cotton. In my case, it's not a big deal. I worry that some containers may have more matches that have not been opened. If you are planning on keeping these for emergency purposes, I would recommend inspecting them closely. This is an excellent product and I will be purchasing more in the future. I have included an image of the two damaged matches with a good match for reference. You could use candle wax to waterproof the top.

6. UCO Original Collapsible Lantern Brass

UCO Original Collapsible Lantern Brass

Their award winning performance and design got them named as the top selling magazine's 2021 Fall Find. The rubber handle has weather and drop proof construction. When choosing an emergency lighting source, you should look for things such as: The collapsible candle lantern has provided warm natural light to thousands of outdoor enthusiasts for decades. The construction is lightweight yet durable. The easy-slide glass chimney creates a windproof environment for the candle. The lock base has a carrying handle and hanging hook. The candle's weight is 8.8 ounces.

Brand: Uco

👤I wish I knew these are made in China. The fit and finish are not up to par for the price. I compared my older candle lantern to my newer one. The price should be half what is being charged if you consider the fit and finish.

👤The candle lantern is a great idea. It's fairly good looking and solidly built. I like the look of brass and though I'm not sure if it's brass or brass colored aluminum, it feels heavier and more solid. It works very well when it is overhead because it casts more light directly below it. I have not had any problems with wax build up, but I take care to not push it when it's lit, so it doesn't run down the inside, and I wait for the wax to solidify before I collapse it. The candle is advanced smoothly and without build up. I could read the light in the room after my eye adjusted, when I was in a small bedroom with white walls. A candle is a bit brighter.

👤The brass version of the candle lantern is more aesthetically pleasing. It is a simple design. Provides a bit of light and warmth. It can be improved with a bit of time and some sanding paper. This makes for a more pleasant experience when handling the lantern. I docked it a star because it should be done by UCO with a media tumbler or something and it would be nice if the candle was a standard size. The candles are the most profitable side of this so I can't really blame them. Buy the lantern and candles at the same time.

👤One of my favorites. A warm glow lasts all night with the UCO lantern. It was comforting to see it glowing. If you have to take a few steps away during the night, it's a good idea to find your way back to your tent. I think it might deter unwanted animals. I have used it as a lighthouse while paddling. Just put it on a branch. It took a few trips to get the small nuances down. I like to clean it by my fire. I would not go on an overnight trip without it.

👤I would have rated this as no stars. The base was made cheaply and it was not secure.

👤The candle lamp is heavier than the candle lamp. After the first light, the bottom plate let wax drip down and foul the spring and housing making it impossible to close. Returning.

👤The brass one I used as a kid did not have plastic parts. This one has a screw at its base. I don't think it will be a problem. I was not happy to see plastic. If the lantern was made of brass, I would give it 5 stars. I think it's still made of aluminum. It's better to use aluminum or low iron steel for a handle.

👤I sucked up the broken glass chimney and ordered a new one from Ebay, after first use, it was total POS china junk! When the thing burnt for a couple hours and went out, you were going to relight it, but the candle was sunk in the lantern and you couldn't get at it to light it. After getting back home, the thing was filled with wax and had to be opened with a knife and screw driver, because it was coming apart.

7. UCO Unisexs Candle Lantern Powder

UCO Unisexs Candle Lantern Powder

The mini lantern and x3 original tea lights are included in the kit. A candle lantern with a powder-coated finish. Can be used with citronella candles. A glass heat shield and hanging hook are included. The chimney is easy to slide. The sport type is camping and hiking.

Brand: Uco

👤There are a few small flaws, like where the handle holes are drilled. It's a decent light and should last a long time. A bottle koozie is a good way to store it. There is a room for four tea candles inside the glass, and a film canister of waterproof matches and a strikers strip in the koozie neck. Forget about the low-quality, $15 neoprene sleeve from uco.

👤I like this lantern. I made a heat shield out of disposable grills. It gives a nice light and keeps the condensation away when hanging from the ridgeline. The bottom candle holder is the only issue. It is very loose. It was unsafe and unstable. I had to make a gasket out of a rubber band. There is a The candle and base could be knocked free from the upper part of the lantern.

👤This is a smaller version of the UCO candle lantern, and it's pretty darn good. If you don't know how much light a candle puts out, look into that first. This model works off of smaller candles. Look into that first if you don't know how much light those put out. Even though a good lantern is built, candle is still candle. The construction is solid. The lantern has extra candles. It's easy to use. It's small. The point of the lantern is useless if the glass slides out accidentally and breaks. If you store the extra candles inside the lantern when not in use, you will end up with wax streaks on the glass. I would suggest getting the top and side reflectors from UCO, as well as the original candle lantern cover, and some round screw top tins for the candles. You don't have to worry about melted wax getting inside the lantern if you leave it in the car, truck, boat, or tank because the tealights fit perfectly in that size tin.

👤It's a bit flimsy. If you're not tossing it around, the lantern will still light up. The UCO candle lanterns have weak support prongs, but this one has a unscrewable base. It's easy to clean, and it's also easy to replace a candle, so you have to hope candle wax doesn't end up coating the flimsy spring they include. There are no cheap moving parts to worry about with this one. It holds up to four tea lights, but you can use other candles if you prefer. It is in a pouch to carry it. If you plan to hike with this lantern, you will want to add padding to the inside. The lantern is small and light enough to be added to any kit.

👤Tea lights burn for a long time. The candle lantern has three small vertical supports to hold the globe in place so the light isn't blocked. It's very light and good for camping. You could store candles in the unit. I don't have any complaints.

👤I've used an original for many years. They are almost the same size as the original when they are stowed. They're well made but don't save much space. Get the original.

8. UCO Beeswax Candle Pack Brown

UCO Beeswax Candle Pack Brown

Even with the Survival Stand attached, you can change candles. The UCO Candle Lanterns are ideal for camping, hiking, outdoor adventures, survival kits, and emergency preparedness. The 100 percent natural beeswax formula is clean burning and has a high melting temperature. The 3.5-inch candle burns for 12 hours with little smoke and a pleasant smell. The cotton is large enough to maintain ideal flame height and burn time. 10 x 3.5-inch natural beeswax candles can be used with UCO Candle Lanterns to create an economical source of outdoor warmth and light.

Brand: Uco

👤I need to add these to my emergency kits. These candles are great alone, but even better with custom-matched UCO candle lanterns. Their low smoke burn lasts many hours and has a pleasant odor that cleans the air without masking undesirable odors. These are my preferred option for 72 hours Get to Safety bags because of their higher melting point than soy-based candles. I don't have to think about which kits to provision because of the multi-unit case size. The candle is roughly 2.1 ounces in weight. Your personal vote of helpful was confirmed on my photo and comments. It is important and appreciated that you affirm the benefit of my efforts.

👤I don't own that lantern, so I'm using these candles for it. I was looking for good candles to use for emergency light and heat. I think that UCO uses the most pleasant and healthiest candles you can get, because of the use of beeswax. Although I plan to save most of the candles, I did test one to see how long it burns. I burned a candle for almost 5 hours next to a brand new candle in the attached picture. 5 hours took away less than half of the candle's lifespan. I believe it's at least that much, based on what I saw. The candle does burn very cleanly and there was no dripped wax on the sides. There was a very subtle scent of beeswax. I wish the candles were taller or fatter so a single candle could be used for longer. I'm very pleased with this set. It's at least 120 hours of clean burning light and heat, which should pack away nicely for whenever it's needed.

👤These are expensive. I think they are a solid purchase. Sometimes you can tell if a candle is cheap by its light weight, burn fast, etc. You can sense that these are higher quality because of the heft of the box and the great scent of natural beeswax. 2. If you pair them with the UCO candle lantern, they are a good size andburn length, which makes them useful. They could be a lifesaver if you put them in your camping supply box, emergency kit, or car trunk. You get 10 in the box, and the packaging is very minimal. I appreciate that. If you're looking for candles for your UCO lantern, these are the ones to look for. These are nice for good quality candles. Recommended!

👤The UCO Beeswax candles are a great option for many uses, including in the UCO Lanterns and Candleliers. They are intended to fit them. I have a Candlelier that fits perfectly. These are about an inch shorter than their candles. The beeswax ones look like someone lopped the tops off of them. I'm pretty sure that missing wax is only about 5 minutes of burn time. They burn longer than the candles. I got to use my ECO candlelier to try out these. They seem to be a little brighter than the paraffin. It produces a lot of light. I think they would work out of one, but I don't intend to use them outside of it. I used the candlelier as a stove to see if they burned hotter than the paraffin. They don't come in a box of 18 or 21. There are boxes of 3, 5, 9, 10, and 20. If you go with the 5, 10 or 20 pack, you will only have two candles in your candlelier at some point in the future. Call me weird. You should sell the needed supplies in a quantity that works for your business. They should sell them in multiples of three. The lower candle count options are more expensive than the 10 and 20 count. The prices per candle range from $4.31 per candle in the three pack to $2.58 per candle in the 20 pack. It is frustrating that it is one candle short and that the 20 count as the best option value.

9. UCO Utility Spoon Fork Knife Utensil Classic

UCO Utility Spoon Fork Knife Utensil Classic

Extra strikers were included. A spoon on one end and a fork with a knife edge on the other are part of a 4-pack of 3-in-1 spork utensils. It's a whole utensil set in a small spork. The nylon material makes it easy to eat so you can focus on the adventures of the day. UCO Utility spons are an Eco friendly way to cut down on the use of single use utensils. Keep disposable plastic sporks out of the environment. The design includes an elastic tether for securing and hanging to dry and is made from high strength glass nylon.

Brand: Uco

👤I love the spoon, but when I started to use it for soup, I found that it required more attention to use than it should, and that dims my enthusiasm. One shouldn't have to think about how you use a spoon. There is a hole in the "stem" or "shaft" section that connects the spoon and fork. There are two holes in the product picture, but I think the hole on the spoon end is a weakness in the design. I have to be aware of how I hold the spoon and not fill the spoon bowl completely. If you fill the bowl of the spoon with liquid and it gets tilted even slightly down toward the fork end, you're at risk of it going back towards the hole. It doesn't take much to overwhelm that, because there is a slight rim around the hole, which the manufacturer seems to have recognized. I own a humangear spork, and it doesn't have this issue, since there's no hole. Do you want the holes in the shaft/stem to tie several of them together or do you want a spork that doesn't have a hole? I wanted to point out my experiences so that others could think about it and make their own decisions. Hope this helps. I purchased these at full price and am giving honest input.

👤I don't like camping utensils that are weird, but they are completely offensive. They are light, wash well, pack well, and have a nice smooth texture. They have a nice balance to them. Breakfast sausage and kielbasa worked well with the knife edge. I wouldn't try to cut a steak with it. Overall very nice. The little elastic used for holding these together is not what I see. Over time, it will either get lost or lose elasticity. That isn't a deal breaker. I used these for car camping with another adult and two children and nobody complained about the silverware. The children liked the colors.

👤When I needed something for a camping trip, I got hooked on these. I liked them so much that I bought a multi pack. I use them in my lunch box as they are convenient and dishwasher save. It makes me feel like I am saving the environment and everything is okay. I wish they had better colors.

👤This is the most used utensil. I use it at home, at work, and on the road. I keep one in the glovebox of my truck as I work outside. This item means that I don't have to throw away plastic utensils, which I really appreciate, as it is so much better for the environment. I don't have to use multiple pieces of flatwear, which is a pain. I usually don't need to use a separate knife because the one edge of the fork is serrated. Excellent spork!

👤I am amazed that these were so cheap. The person who invented these are a genius. I decided to buy the utensils my husband found on Amazon because we didn't have any camping utensils. These smart instruments would be recommended by 10/10. They are dishwasher safe.

10. UCO Original Candle Lantern Repair

UCO Original Candle Lantern Repair

The candle's weight is 8.8 ounces. Works on all UCO candles. The cleaning kit has a spring, base, piston, heat shield, chain, hook, and sticker.

Brand: Uco

👤My only animal is beef. I would be happy to pay more for this package, but UCO has decided to charge us more. You can buy a complete UCO lantern for about 20 bucks, but they will charge you 17 bucks for the replacements parts. My wife threw away the candle plate. To get the small plate, I had to buy all the eternals. If you are smart, you can buy thin washers at your local hardware store for less than a dollar. I contacted UCO and was told that the part was only for a complete kit. If you have a UCO candle. It's nice to have a rebuild kit in case you need to service your UCO. UCO wont sell individual parts, but it is an original equipment kit from the company.

👤The parts are original. All fit in the same way. The springs tension under compression was the same as the one I purchased with the kit, and it appeared to be of the same quality. If the need arises, it should work.

👤Everyone knows that everything breaks. Murphy's law says anything that can go wrong will eventually go wrong. It will go wrong at the most inopportune time. Why don't you have a spare parts kit? The kit has everything you need to keep your candle lantern running. Only 4 stars are given because where is the globe? You have to purchase it separately.

👤I bought several of these kits to rebuild my large collection of candle lanterns. Yes... These are the tools of my craft, I am a candle lantern dork.

👤I love the citronella candles and use them a lot. Sometimes your stuff breaks and you need parts.

👤The rebuild kit or the lantern is the one that matters. It's all worth it for its purpose. Can keep a small tent warm. Enough light to get by. It was quite happy with it.

👤Fast delivery, wrapped nicely. I love the different candles and the UCO lights. I have several originals that I can use to make repairs. I wish they would include a chimney glass in the kit.

👤I bought a candle lantern many years ago. It was made in the USA. The second model. It sat in the camping box without a spring for a long time. It is good now with the kit and some cleaning. UCO, thanks!

👤I only wanted a single disk, I now have spare disks that I will probably never need, but they come from the USA, so there is no difference in cost.

👤Everything you need for repairs to a lantern. It takes a while in the Uk for shipping to come from the States.

👤I bought the repair kit to make sure I have spare parts for any repairs I might have to make. I have not had to use any of the kit pieces yet, but they appear to be the same components used in the assembled lanterns. It would have been nice if these were an improvement from the original components, like being titanium, but that is more of a suggestion for a different product for UCO - the titanium UCO candle lantern! It doesn't include a replacement glass cover, so someone doesn't purchase it thinking it covers all the bases. It is what it is and will do what it is intended to do. If you need to replace the UCO candle lantern, it is recommended that you do so.

11. UCO Cocoon Neoprene Original Lanterns

UCO Cocoon Neoprene Original Lanterns

UCO Candle Lanterns have a wrap on them. It is made from 1/2-inch neoprene. It helps prevent glass and lantern damage.

Brand: Uco

👤Don't buy this, I don't know if I got a bad sleeve. I can't get it in unless I put a lot of stress on the glass and aluminum pieces. It might fit if the material is half as thick as it is. If you feel like you're about to break your glass and carry handle, avoid this garbage. I don't know if I should return or throw it in the trash. The biggest waste of money.

👤The old style micro lantern is what the micro cocoon is for. It won't fit the newer style. If you have a mini, get the original cocoon.

👤Over the past 5 years, I have bought a number of these. They are the perfect match for the candliers. I buy one for every candlier that I buy. I keep one in each of our cars and two in our vans. I have given these sets away as house warming gifts to people who are new to our harsh cold winters. I would not part with one of the cocoons.

👤I love it! The UCO lantern is my favorite to take camping, but I was always a little worried that it would break. I don't have to worry anymore. It is adequately protected in a way that doesn't take a lot of space. I wanted to try one first before buying more. The sale was made by my tryout. I recommend these to everyone who has a UCO lantern. I take care of my gear and this is a way to keep my lantern for a long time.

👤I had to remove the bail from the lantern because it was tight. The fit was affected by it. There is a It might be a bit pricey. It's the right size for the Candelier so you don't have to buy a generic case. I rated Durability at 4 stars because you can tear it if you aren't careful. It should last a few decades.

👤The big one was addressed. It doesn't say "Slides on easily" in the description. It is difficult to slide it over the Candlelier with pull tabs, but it can be done in a hurry. I have both micro and original cocoons and have not experienced this problem. If you have been doing this since 1971 then you should have gotten it right. Hopefully it will last a while. I need the protection and there is no other way to get it.

👤I thought I'd get a cover to protect my lanterns. This doesn't look like the picture. It doesn't go completely over the lantern, but there is a small gap between the top and bottom of the cover. I don't know if I should return or throw it away.

👤It works perfectly with the UCO original. The carry handle is snug, but it will go. I don't know how well it protects the lantern as I haven't dropped it or hit it yet, and I hope I never do. I can tell you that it makes it easier to pack as the handle is secure. The noise factor is also cut down. It's a fair trade off to add an ounce or so to my pack. I was able to squeeze a small Bic in there, so now the lighting needs are met in one convenient package.
