It can be used for many crafting projects. It's perfect for use with paracord. Be prepared for hiking, hunting, camping or any outdoor activity. There are multiple colors and sizes available.
👤I was expecting six of them to come in the package, but I only received a single buckle, which is a lot more expensive than I was expecting, because the picture and title clearly says multipack.
👤A pack of 5. I threw the last two in the garbage because the compasses pointed nowhere near correctly. I made sure they didn't have interfering metals. There is no quality control at Paracord Planet. I've purchased from them before.
👤I am new to paracorder. I was skeptical about the quality of the buckles. It is a practical product that does what it says it will do. Excellent. They are a little big. I'm a big guy. They are so good looking that you can wear it up like a watch or hide it. Awesome.
👤I really like the buckles. My son and I both used the ferro rod and the strikers to get decent sparks while making paracord bracelets with these buckles. The whistles work with practice. The weak point is the compass. It works, but an oil filled would have been better. They are a good deal. I will probably keep some.
👤The fire starter is great, but the buckle is even better. It's difficult to get a spark. It was difficult to catch a spark using premium baked tinder. The ferro rods came out of the buckle. The ferro rod makes it hard to hold the buckle together. The ferro rods are small and make it difficult.
👤Not a single one of the whistles worked. I ordered them for a project this weekend and they were terrible. I was born in 1972 and never thought I would live to see this. I have items from the 70s and 80s that are still working.
👤I don't like these because they aren't comfortable for a bracelet clasp. Too big and flat. Unless for a very large wristed person.
👤I tested the fire steel compass on my phone and it seems legit for para bracelets.
👤2 out of the packet have a usable compass. The dial doesn't stop spinning, and I want to contact the seller for more information. I can't find the option. If you are the seller, please contact me.
👤Compré 10 y solo. Muy mal.

This military grade 550 Paracord Bracelet for Men, Women and Kids is lightweight and stylish and makes it easy to carry and store. This military grade 550 Paracord Bracelet for Men, Women and Kids is lightweight and stylish and makes it easy to carry and store.
👤I had trouble locating the whistle. The compass, flint, and other items were all good, but I found the whistle a bit difficult to blow. This package is very good value for money and delivers what is said. The cord is strong and secure. Very pleased with this.
👤A cute gift for my grandsons. The colors are nice. The whistle is loud and they need to practice the Firestarter. Every child needs a safety bracelet.
👤I bought these for my troop. The bracelets are the same as pictured, but the compasses are a bit confused. I contacted the company but never heard back.
👤I wanted the kids to have a whistle while hiking. The whistles don't make any noise. I tried all of them.
👤The family loved hiking in the woods on Christmas. The spark will light if you scratch the black first.
👤Some reviews mentioned sharp edges. Just be aware, not for very young children. It's a great stocking stuffer.
👤I received these for a campout. The whistles didn't work well.
👤The compass is about 10 degrees off.
The minimum breaking point has been tested for excellence. If you need a strong rope or cordage, use your 12 feet of paracord. It can be used as a trap, a shelter, or a fishing line. The length of the rod is 1 inch. The rod's diameter is 5/16inch. The hole is 4mm. Fasten this fire starter to your gear. This rod produces fire whenever and wherever you need it.
👤I will give these 5 stars because they work. Most mini kit items have always been used before you think you can rely on them. It's not possible to make an item work if you look neat and tidy in an post. While trying to deal with a situation is not the time to discover failure. If you have lost your fine motor skills, you may not be able to use these. They do not shower sparks like a full size rod would. They are small and easy to integrate into gear. For an absolute last ditch item, I would rather have one or two of these on me than have to resort to fire methods only. They came with a tin that can be used again.
👤I put them on some paracord, sized for their drilled hole diameters, so they could be used on coats. Easy. The rods came in a tin with foam inserts cut to hold them exactly, looked professional and could have been handed to someone as a gift immediately upon opening the shipping box. The tin with its two parts makes for a nice mini kit box, mini char box, or any other thing that the size of an Altoids tin would work for, because the inserts can be easily removed and used for other projects. The rods were manufactured with quality and all were neatly drilled. If you don't know how to use the small rods, you can watch some videos on Youtube. I will be back for more after buying these.
👤This is my second purchase of this product. I like the size for a wristband or necklace. The holes are large enough to hold both cords. It'd be a perfect combination if I could find a certain forward. I've been very pleased with the Bayite ferro rods that I've purchased, as they provide a consistent shower of sparks. Remove the protective coating. It performs better when you do it. I am not rating Warmth as it is cool to the touch. It's a ferro rod. It's small size makes it a bit more aggressive when using it, but it performs well and is a very convenient size for a paracord survival bracelet or paracord necklace. It can be used in a bushcraft knife sheath or in a firemaking kit. There is no excuse not to have a couple with one's self.
👤Great idea, but a little smaller than I thought. It can be difficult for me to maintain control of the rod. It would be easier to avoid the line if it was half an inch larger. The idea is sound, but it is hard to argue with the value of forward thinking if you only have a few things. You need a soft steel bar or blade to create sparks. The rod is very smooth and hard to scratch. Buying them pre-drilled is much easier than trying to drill another rod yourself, and they are small enough to use as zip ties, even if you use one hole or both. They are a good back-up, but not what I would suggest for your primary rod.
Lifetime manufacturer's warranty. The ferro rod fire starter throws sparks to start in all weather conditions. The paracord bracelet has a built-in whistle, mini ferro rod, and compass to make sure you're always prepared. Over 15,000 strikes are composed of a high quality ferrocerium and magnesium blend. A handcrafted cherry wood handle has a comfortable grip. A lanyard with a hardened steel multi-tool flint is attached to it with a built-in wrench and toothed edge. The weight is 2.3 ounces. Carry it in your pack, or wear it around your neck, and the Paracord Bracelet will fit on your wrist. It's great for hiking, backpacking, and camping. It's a great gift for a bushcraft woodsman.
👤It seems that the consumer is not aware that this product is made in China until they receive it. Will purchase a Texas Bushcraft fire starter when he returns.
👤The survival fire starter exceeded my expectations. This is a great addition to my gear. This will be fun to use to teach survival skills at my summer camp. The quality is top-notch and it is the perfect size. The handle is very nice and it makes it easy to throw sparks. I've used ferro rods in the past, but this is much easier. It comes with a paracord survival bracelet. When I ordered it, I didn't know it had a mini ferro rod fire starter built into it. I think this is a great fire scorer for camping or bushcraft survival.
👤The compass and the whistle are not fun. I can't recommend this bracelet. The long Fero rod and strikers kit is not bundled with the kit as seen, it works well and the sparks that are produced are strong. I couldn't send a submission so I had to pick a 1 Star Rating.
👤The bracelet and strikers were present. I don't care about anything else but the rod and strikers. I like how the strikers have no plastic. I know it will not break from the pressure. I plan to get back into camping and hunting soon. Dad took me on scouting outings when I was a kid. I want to test myself in situations where I am not as prepared as the scouts. There were no matches or fire starting kits to start. I've never started a fire with my dad's flint, and he rarely used it. I decided to see if I needed to practice with it. The rounded and toothed tip was the main selling point of the strikers tools. I took a branch from a pile of dead branches. All I could do was scratch it. I will write this and think about it. It seems like a tool that would work on larger pieces of a tree and I will find something that will work on it. I expected a sharper edge on one side so it would work better to shear off the wood in its small diameter. I will take a filing kit to this puppy now that I think about it. Still. The kindling maker portion of the tool needs to be shaped a bit wider to improve its shearing ability. It's just a ridged grooves. It can be used as a forward. HOLY COW! I tried to figure out how much pressure was applied. The black coating makes it hard to get off as it's just a slick barrier to initially get off and take more pressure off. The sound is so satisfying when the sparks fly everywhere. I need to see how natural I am at starting a fire. We had some rain in the last 2 days but it was mostly dry. I went to the fire pit after taking dead weeds and dry leaves. I will say that it lit a fire in one try. Every few strikes, I had to fiddle with my birds nest. There were times when the thing was struck so quickly that it was hard to get a spark to catch in the nest. It would be hard to tell if the smoke was coming from the bird nest or the strikers. There is a Within a few minutes of effort, and 1 minute of gathering the kindling after giving up on the kindling tool. I had a nest on fire. There were 2 flames that came out of it. It had to be set down. I didn't want to commit to having a full fire because I didn't have everything ready. I didn't have a pile of kindling to keep the fire going. If I did. I'm pretty sure I would have had a roaring fire in less than 10 minutes. It's 54 degrees with a nice breeze. I think that's a pretty effective Firestarter attempt. I left. "Oh it's on fire!", to "I'm not as natural as I thought I would be at this." It took in a matter of seconds. I didn't blow it. No ember to light up the sky. It was on fire. No cotton or anything like that. There were mostly dry leaves and dead weed twigs in the bowl. I was caught off guard when I got 2 flames instead of an ember. The reviews said the bracelet would be cheap. I didn't care if that was the case. It had a fire rod on the clip. I was expecting a cheap toy quality compass. It is a solid compass with liquid inside. Whenever I look at it, it's easy to read and turn to North. I have large hands. I wouldn't be surprised if it was too small. It fits just right and doesn't make a difference to my skin. People complain about the whistle. It sounds like a high pitch whistle and is not a cheap one. It comes across as a piercing sound. There is a hole in the ground. I don't know why it's there. If you cover it, the whistle will still work even if you blow it. You can easily cover it with your lip. People say it's broken, but I don't think that's right. The "cutter" is not going to be able to cut a small thing. It's probably better to kindling than the strikers tool. It would break if you used it that way. The center of the clip has a strikers rod. It's small. I don't know how you could use it without breaking the clips. There was no tool to hit it. Why don't you put a grooves in the cutter to fit the rod and use it as a strikers? I'll be filing that down as well. The paracord is strong. It's heavier than I expected. The cord on the rod seems to be very strong. I expect the rod to be worn down before the cord does. If I am using that word correctly, the handle feels very comfortable. I wish the rod was a bit longer. I wouldn't be interested in this if it was more than $20. I see the bracelet as a bit of a novelty. I was surprised to find that it is sturdy and a nice bonus to make it a good value at $15.99. It's a perfect first tool for anyone. My biggest perk is the metal tool. The man that kicks up sparks is easy to spot. When the rod wears down. I'll keep the one for the replacement. I've never owned one before, so I can't comment on the life expectancy. I am surprised at how much wear and tear has already occurred. I'm starting to think that my dad didn't use that rod to start the fire, because it looks worse already. If they are all soft and easy to shave, or if I'm using too much force, to really give an experienced opinion on that. I can 3D print another handle, since I know the last one. I don't need a compass or emergency whistle, I got one on my wrist, and it doesn't hang from my neck. I'll find something to attach to it to make it more useful. I might as well include it in my survival arsenal because the thing isn't going to break anytime soon.

When you own survival gear and men's and women's outdoor hunting gear, this is a stylish accessory to own. It works well with hiking and camping backpacks. Why some of the compass direction is not right? The metal flint Scraper and Flintstones Stick has an effect on the compass that leads to the wrong direction. If you are not completely satisfied with the product, please contact them.
👤Fire starter would work in a pinch, but it seemed good. The compasses would point in different directions. Messed with them for a while and they would not work, verified with other compasses in the same location. Returned without a fight.
👤The items were delivered on time. A decent concept. I ordered 5 packages. Every feature is present but not useful. 1. It's not reasonable to think a small button compass would have the same accuracy as a full sized lensatic compass. One of the compasses was malfunctioning. The price is not a big deal for personal projects. 2. I tried to throw a spark with the ferrous rod, but it fell out of my hand. 3. The whistle works but not well. It would be better than nothing.
👤I'm being a little tough on the stars, but the buckles feel flimsy, you try to buckled them on your wrist, they feel very sturdy. The ferro rods fell out easily when you tried to hit them. If you strike it with the sharp side and remove the interferences like a car, watch, TV, speaker, it will spark. This could keep you warm, and get you home, with a paracord, some cotton balls, and a knife. It was worth the investment.
👤The dial on the compass didn't spin correctly, and 2 of the compasses had air bubbles. I got what I needed, but I was annoyed that I had to pay for two units that were not good.
👤I didn't like it at first because it interfered with the compass. It's been perfect since I figured out that the strikers are not permanent. I will wake my kids with the fire starter, even though they love the whistle.
👤The quality of the built-in compasses was a pleasant surprise, even though the whistles seem to need a little sanding. The fire-starters seem to work well. This product is something I recommend.
👤Two of the five have a compass that isn't pointing north. There is a If one uses in an emergency, they will be following in the wrong direction. I was going to return, but it wasn't worth the effort. I'll use the two that don't show north.
👤I really like the idea of buckets, but the campuses are not all accurate. Two out of five are correct. There is a few degrees off. You can see that the other one is way off. It's disappointing that these are not as good as the ones that have been reviewed. I don't usually do reviews, but I felt that someone with campus experience needed a review. I'm an Eagle Scout and I was in the army. Maybe some people were luckier than I was. I've used campuses most of my life. You will get more lost if you use these buckles.
👤The metal scraper probably causes the compass to need time and wiggle to point to the north. It works well.
👤La pierre pour allumé un feu. Livraison rapide.
👤It doesn't work. Fun for kids but not reliable for survival. Found it cheaper on eBay.
The set of 2 Sephardic paracord boots. The bracelets in this pack are made of high-quality Paracord. There are two things: sylish and function. If you need to use the paracord in an emergency, wear your new bracelet and put it in your everyday life. It is easy to open a clam. There are 2 different sizes for the wrist. The plastic Buckle is much easier to open and close than other clasps. The POLYESTER PARACORD is made of POLYESTER. Their paracord is made of polyester, which is preferred for its better performance when wet.
👤Staff Sgt, Joseph Lupoli: Yep! The Friendly Swede hits a ball in the park. I've worn a lot of survival bracelets as an ex-Army Airborne SpecOps operator. I can tell you that this Friendly Swede model is the most well designed and comfortable model you can buy. The clasps of the Friendly Swede model para-chord survival bracelet are heavy and reliable, making it nearly bombproof. Unless you really need it, the clasp will not break. The para-chord is thick and tightly wound, with melted spots on the underside of the bracelets. I ordered the large because I wanted the size that wouldn't fit on my wrist to be smaller. The size small fit my wrist perfectly. The large is too large, but at these prices, who cares? I've bought a number of tactical items from The Friendly Swede in the past, and they make and sell really solid products that are reasonably priced. I kept both sets of bracelets. I wanted to reward a good small company by giving them more business. I'll give the larger bracelet to the Army buddy who has larger wrists. I hope that the Friendly Swede will soon offer the same survival bracelet model in woodland camo. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.
👤I thought they came with a metal clasp, as shown in the picture, but I was wrong. I was happy with the construction when they arrived, but I was disappointed when I saw the plastic clasps. I've had bad experiences with these after serving in the US Army. I have always preferred a metal type of closure and thought that was what I was getting. The way it is made has no issues for me. Everything seems to be well made and the packing it arrives in is some of the best I've ever received from an online seller. I can't complain about the quality of the bracelets, I was really impressed with the packaging. It wasn't what I had ordered.
👤These are great bracelets and a great deal, when you consider all the over priced paracord bracelets on the market now a days, these are a great deal. I was hoping the extra size would fit my fiancée, but it didn't. I ordered the smaller one because I was expecting it to be snug. It stops it from sliding during activities. The bracelet fits my fiancée, so that's a win for us. We got 2 bracelets for a great price. If you don't know about the rough paracord concerns, then you should do some research and find out if it is soft to start with. It only takes one shower to get the bracelet softened a bit and in my case it helped form it to my wrist. I've been wearing this bracelet for a long time. I don't plan on taking it off anytime soon. I would recommend these to my friends and family if I ordered more.
👤This set of bracelets is very strong. They have a good amount of cord and are well made. They didn't fit my 10" wrists. I was surprised that they didn't fit, but I think they make some of the larger bracelets. This is a common issue for me in a lot of things. Unless you have never found a large watch that the band never fails to be too short or has a head the size of mars, I will not rate this set at full 5 stars. I can't fault the quality of the set.
You won't find a better mylar tent anywhere. It is guaranteed. They donate a percentage of profits to help protect the wild places they love. There are top gadgets gifts for men. They know these cool stuff are unique for Christmas gifts for men, dad Christmas gifts, and gifts for teenage boys, so no matter what problems you have, they'll try their best to solve them. There are stockings for men and women.
👤This is a good kit for me because I am not an avid adventurer. I keep it in my car for emergencies or when I go camping. Overall, I'm happy. It's not heavy to carry with my camping gear. It has a whistle, a small emergency blanket, a flashlight, a knife, and a tool that can be used as a spoon/fork/knife. I don't know how effective the blanket is or how well the knife cuts because I didn't test the items. It's not possible to put the items back in in a way that you can close the box. I didn't have a problem with this kit. The instruction manual explains what each item is. The material is good enough for emergencies. If you're a person who likes to go on a lot of adventures in the middle of nowhere, you may want to invest in something more sturdy. I shook the survival bracelet and noticed the compass would sometimes show a different direction. It seems that when it is shaken, it will indicate a different direction when it stops. Before you store the kit in your car or bag, be aware that the flashlight does not have a battery in it, so make sure you get one and insert it. The mention of 24 pieces is misleading. There are definitely not 24 items. The carrying case is listed in the instruction manual, but it isn't a survival tool. The little fishing gear kit with 2 fishing hooks, 2 fishing baits and a baggy with 4 little pieces of hemp is counted as 5 items because it has 2 fishing hooks, 2 fishing baits and a baggy.
👤A complete scam. There are missing items. The whole thing was 8 inches. There was no fire starter or flint. One of the most expensive emergencies in the hat class. It's not worth $32, certainly not $10. I know these are hard times, but how can you live with yourself when you rip off hundreds of people? For shame! Don't buy from this seller and be careful. I was hoping the kit was well stocked. Can't rely on this one helping at all.
👤If you're looking for an inexpensive gift to give to a prepper in your life, this tough little survival kit is what you need. Each item is the perfect tool for a job that needs to be done quickly and effectively. This works well for hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boy scout adventures. The kit includes a survival knife, paracord bracelets, wire saw, water bottle clip, emergency blanket, flint stone, scraper, blow fire tube, 4pcs fire tinder, flashlight, whistle, saber card, and multi-use spoon. This kit is very small and portable, and can be put into your car, backpack, bug out bag, or camping gear, and get a lot of use out of it. The only thing I wish the flashlight was more powerful is that it was rechargeable. It's useful for so many activities. Highly recommended.
👤All of these products are very well made. Everything is sturdy and nice. Nothing has broken. I bought this for my husband. We can be prepared as much as possible for the truck. He was very excited. He told me to put the bracelet on him after he saw it. He has not taken it off. The kit is amazing. There are a lot of safety products. We live in a rural area. The power goes out a lot. You are stuck when trees fall over the road. It's nice to know we can cut limbs. Make a fire. The tactical pen can break glass if you are trapped in a car. If you forget silverware, the fork, knife, spoon is really cool. There is a protective fire blanket because we have a lot of forest fires. There are many things that can help you. I feel better knowing we have it. I might get a kit for my uncle and cousin. Our guy friends love it. I do too.
It can be started quickly, lasts for a long time, and has no strange smell. It's a great weapon for camping, emergency rescue signals, family barbecues, and bonfire parties. If you have it, you will have a pleasant outdoor experience. The set includes a premium Wood Handle ferro Rod 5/16” thick with strikers, 10 Quick Ignition Cotton Tabs and a storage pouch. Their commitment is to every customer. They will make sure to fix the issue if you are not 100% satisfied.
👤It's nice to have everything you need to start a fire. The tin will keep your material dry and the rod will spark under any conditions. If going into the woods, a back up should be part of the pack.
👤Sturdy and lights on the first strike. My 7yr old was able to create her own campfire as I taught her outdoor skills. I ordered another.
👤I will use this for camping. It's a great thing to have in a survival kit. The quality is excellent. You can't let go of this price.
👤Good value for money. A quality product that is easy to use and durable.
👤I am very pleased with this product. It worked well and exceeded my expectations. All that is needed is one strike.
👤It's easy to use and fits nicely.
5ft Paracord gives you a good grip and never comes off. Always be prepared to start a fire with the bayite Striker-Pro strikers attached to the paracord. The bayite 6 Striking Edges Striker-Pro is made from tool grade steel and has a distinct hardness, which makes it great for both left and right hands. Don't use a bad quality knife. It won't produce enough sparks if it has insufficient hard blade. The ferrocerium rod is 4 cm in length. The diameter is 10mm. Large enough for a shower of sparks and small enough to carry. The ferrocerium rod is very effective. It works in any weather condition. At any altitude, sparks shower to ignite a fire in any weather. Emergency fire starter for Bushcraft, Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, EDC, Emergency, BBQ, Gas Camp Stoves, etc.
👤This is a back-up fire starter for our camping trip to Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I am impressed with the amount of spark this thing throws. It is my primary fire starter now. If I could only take two items in a survival scenario, this would be #2. It's quality and ability to start a fire make it an insane value. I have gotten less in other products. * Even when your gear gets wet, this works. Keep some magnesium powder with you. * It is simple and predictable. My kids can use it. There is a * The thing is small and light so it won't bother you. * Excellent product/customer support was provided by the package. My own fault was the only flaw I had with it. The ferro rod has a protective coating that has to be removed before it will spark. It took me 4 seconds to realize that it was not a factor. I hope this helps you make an informed decision. There is a I lost my ferro rod. I was going to shoot a video of this thing in action, but I lost it on my last camping trip. I will order this one again, I love it so much. Other rods don't interest me after using this one. There are a lot of reviews against the strikers. The strikers may not be the most comfortable, but they are an intentionally engineered product. The steel in the strikers is a specific steel with a specific composition and hardness. A different strike may not produce the same sparks.
👤I like the paracord lanyard and the fero rod is a good size. I've read that the strikers are so-so. I only paid $9 for this thing and I can get past a mediocre strikers. If you're going to be in the woods, you should have a knife. I have some smaller fero rods that can be a bit awkward to use. The rod is easy to hold. I bought 2 of these for camping and a BOB so I can put them in my day pack and get home bag. It was worth every bit of $9.
👤I played around with it to get a feel for it. Some rods are better than others. I tried a dry cotton ball that I had pulled apart and made into a fluffy "nest" of sorts. The second was a piece of paper. I tried it against a pile of wood. They lit up pretty easily. If you know how to make a fire, it's not a big deal. If you're a learner, you can get yourself some book learnin' on the subject by sitting down with some good old fashioned youtube. Everyone should know how to make fires. A ferro rod is just one of many tools. I found the strikers to be sufficient but not perfect. If you are looking at these, you should have a sturdy knife with you. The strikers is less important if you have a good knife. I will keep them together because they are a decent little kit. It only took me a few flicks with the strikers to light the fires I had been trying to set. This rod is easy to use and durable. I know what to expect from this rod in the event that I ever need to use it. It's all you can ask of a ferro rod.

👤It is a 4 in one not a 5 in one. Not bad. They need to change their descriptions. No bottle opener if that is what it is. It is described as a multi tool. Everything is functioning and nice addition to any pack or wrist.
👤It's pretty good, the Firestarter is a bit hard to use and it's not that good at starting things, so it's basically useless, but overall it works pretty good.

👤I love the outdoors with friends, it really started a fire, after I scratched some of coating away from the flint and scratched some magnesium on combustible, I will tell a secret, if you scratched more magnesium on combustible, it will be easier to get fire. There is a The small flashlight at night is useful, but don't use it for corridor light and toilet light. The tools need to be removed because it is a problem, but I think it is worth it. You get what you pay for.
👤The daarcin version seemed inferior even though they looked the same. I don't know if it's the flint or the scraper, but you have to push so hard it's useless and the whistle doesn't work
👤I try to be as fair and understanding as possible, but I hate leaving reviews that are not the most positive. I love it and it fits perfect after a few modifications, but I was disappointed after I only showered twice and the compass got water in it. I would give it a 5 star rating and recommend it if it was just mine that was faulty. I used a lighter to burn the tips, then needle nose pliers to bond them together, and acetone to remove the lettering from the light. A tip.
👤My husband and grandson love the bracelet. They wear it all the time because you never know when you need to go into survival mode. It encourages exploration for surviving in the outdoors even if the situation is dire. I highly recommend it.
👤7 year old was obsessed with his wrist, but he didn't mind. It can start fires.
👤The gift was well-received. Thank you so much!
👤My nephew gets lost a lot. We told him not to wear it to school because there is a knife in it, so keep that in mind, he was so happy to receive this as a present. He can start fires at his will so take that into account. It's a fun gift that gets the kids excited, but not great for devious and impulsive children.
👤It was a great idea, the cord is thick, and the compass is nice, but the only reason I gave it a 3 star is because it broke, I have to keep figuring out how to fix it.
