👤I used one of these on Mt. Eisenhower in New Hampshire. The wind ripped it apart. I had to chase it down. These are easy to tear. I've used tougher material before.

👤I received some shreds of Mylar. The widest piece was 34” wide.

👤Well packed and seems heavy duty. These emergency items are sold by a small group of U.S. Army veterans. I have 4 of them in one of my molle pouches, so I might buy them again.

👤I don't need 100, I don't need pretty colors, and I don't need thicker. I need some basic thermal blankets. I may need 100 of these because I am starting to think of people I should give them to and people who live near our off-grid cabin. A good deal for something that could save a life.

👤It was packed beautifully and very small. You can't be prepared enough. We love the outdoors and I am a single mother of boys. I always carry a first aid kit with me on our trips. We put together a bag for bugs. My boys have trekking packs. I'd rather be prepared as possible, so I've been increasing my game recently. My sons will wear shorts in the winter. They're fine if we get stuck or an accident. These are things I don't hope to use. I'll be happy if we have to use them. There are two in our bug out bag and two in our winter gear car supply.

👤I keep them in my Jeep, backpack, and house. I travel with them. I use these at outdoor concerts when the benches are wet. They are easy to carry and reduce the wind.

👤I stayed out for a weekend to test out some of my gear. I was able to stay warm all night and the material was really strong. I'm going to buy more for my family.

👤The blanket is a little transparent and appears to be very durable. The blanket has not been tested to see if it works in cold weather.

2. General Medi Emergency Blanket Marathons

General Medi Emergency Blanket Marathons

Brand: General Medi

👤My mother had a lot of purses. I filled them with socks, emergency blankets, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other items. The emergency blankets were perfect. My mother lived in the county where the homeless shelter is.

👤Amazon charged me for the order, so beware. I'm letting you know this way because they are impossible to contact, unless Amazon fixes the problem.

👤Work well for food delivery. I have been using the couple that I opened for a few months and they have no tears or anything. I left a couple in each of my cars in case of an apocalypse.

👤We used this to remove the heavy blankets from the hospital. The Emergency Blankets worked well, but only lasted a couple days before they were torn, and the hospital staff did their best to destroy them.

👤I use these on my windows to block the summer heat. I bought this because it was cheaper and I got what I paid for. It is very thin. I could work with that. The stripes on each blanket are so large that they are ugly and less efficient. I used 3 sheets out of desperation.

👤These are disposable emergency blankets that can be used to keep body temperature up if it gets too cold or to shelter from the rain. It worked well to keep the blankets and sleeping bags dry when I tested it out as a ground cover. If you live in an area where temperature drops can become severe or it rains heavily, you should carry one or two in an emergency bag.

👤We use it as an extra layer at night while camping in the Pacific Northwest. The material makes it very noisy.

👤A lot of blankets. I'll keep some in my home and car. It's not a bad idea to have these on hand for first aid or to supplement your sleeping gear on cold nights. Great purchase.

3. Tirrinia Outdoors Waterproof Windproof Traveling

The waterproof and windproof fleece blanket can keep you warm and dry in the winter. The Venetian Balcony is versaTILE. The outdoor waterproof blanket can be used for outdoor adventures. It can be used as a pets blanket, back protect seat, sofa or laps from getting wet by your pet's wet paws.

Brand: Tirrinia

👤The tournament was out of town and it was 42 degrees. I only brought a thin blanket with me. Lesson learned! I needed to be prepared for the next tournament. This blanket was a life saver. I felt a lot warmer at the next one, even though it was 37 degrees and windy. I wish I'd bought the largest size so I could wrap myself up like a burrito. Great blanket! I've used it at three tournaments. It is very warm and waterproof.

👤I was tired of lugging in two different blankets to cover up at my son's soccer games and I wanted to stop. I ordered this based on previous reviews. I love it! I ordered the larger size to make sure it would wrap around me. The outer shell keeps the wind out. I haven't used it yet in the rain but I'm very pleased with the blanket.

👤I was looking for a blanket that would block the wind and snow. I am very happy with this purchase. It's not a thick blanket, but it does a great job of cutting out the wind that would normally blow through another throw. It's not why I bought it, but I think it's a good idea to put on the ground as a barrier to wet grass or as a buffer between cold or wet bleachers. Rolls are tight for transport and storage. The waterproof backing is almost like a thinner denim. It stops the wind while not being very loud.

👤I want to say that I love this blanket. This blanket keeps me warm and dry when I sit at the ball park. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I ripped the seam on the first one I put on. The second blanket had a rip in its Velcro seam. The quality of that part of the stitching was not great. I was able to get them back together with a quick stitch. The blankets are a little awkward to roll back up, but once you get the hang of how to do it is pretty simple. The blanket is great and I would buy another one with stronger stitching.

👤I read the reviews on several different outdoor stadium blankets and am very happy that I chose this one. The all one piece construction is very nice. I've seen some that are only sewn together around the edges. This isn't like that. The fleece side is warm and soft, and the waterproof side is not as hard as some others are. It's not hard to fold but it takes a few minutes. I bought two and we have used them a lot. They are what I wanted.

👤The product has one flaw. The black waterproof side should have been put on the Velcro when you roll it up. This is how it is on their other models. It was put on the side that you sit on. There is no reason why the Velcro couldn't be put on the other side.

👤This was bought for an emergency. It's great to have when you need a survival kit or bug out bag. Hopefully, I won't need to use it. Nice package. It looks like it's better quality than the cheap blankets. It is more expensive but peace of mind is priceless. It's better to have it and not need it.

👤Sturdy but compact. Each car should have one in it.

👤The emergency blanket is small and light. It's easy to carry and fits in my bag. The fabric is strong and durable. I am very happy.

👤I have to give it a 2 because I haven't needed them bought out of fear of a bad winter like my state had last year.

👤There is nothing I don't like about this product. It is worth every cent.

👤I had thought it was larger.

Brand: Don't Die In The Woods

👤I thought it was better. I'm the kind of person who will test items before an emergency strikes. The emergency blankets are cheap, but they are not as strong as the larger ones. I tried to open it. It was not easy to do. I was impressed. I gave the test to a 6 year old and said have at it. It had minimal damage. No more ripping or anything like that. Very impressive. It's good to have a bug out bag or car just in case.

👤I got these today. I pulled one out to see if it was tear resistance. I pulled it on and it ripped. The material used to make the grocery bag is not as strong as the Walmart bag. Don't waste your money. I'm going to return them tomorrow.

👤All four of them have their own bag for storage, and that the main holder is made of durable fabric. I wore one around the house. It got warm. The material felt strong. I had to put it back in the pack because ofadhd issues. I put it in the bag after my 3rd attempt because I didn't get all my lines right. Will purchase again from this company.

👤I don't like giving bad reviews. These are very small trash bags. I compare these to dollar tree table covers. I was not happy with the quality.

👤I like the way these are packaged. There is a bag in the zip up case. Excellent quality all around.

👤For limited use or emergency only, there is permission. I thought they were bigger. Would have been better for camping.

👤This is a great blanket. Sturdy, big. If you have to walk to town in the dessert because your car broke down and there is no phone service, you should keep at least one in your car. There are many reasons to keep these in your car or on a walk. You have a lean-to if you add a 20' piece of rope. This is a great brand.

All of their products are backed by a manufacturer's warranty.

Brand: Redcamp

👤I have purchased several of the REDCAMP outdoor blankets to be used as tent floor liners in my tents. These blankets are luxurious when used to protect the tent floor. If you enjoy camping during the cold months of the year as I do, I have always hated the feeling of sitting, kneeling, or standing on an icy tent floor. When the ground is covered with snow and ice, this is especially true. It is a pleasure to experience the warmth and comfort of the sherpa fabric of these blankets. When used as a tent floor liner, these blankets are a nice luxury in warm weather camping as well. Along with protecting your tent floor, the blankets prevent the feeling of clammy on the nylon or polyester tent floor from being caused by barefoot standing, sitting, or kneeling. This is true for those tents with floors made of polyethylene. These blankets are used to keep your tent floor cooler in the warmer months and more comfortable in the colder months. I found that the medium sized blanket fits the average two person tent. I have found that the large blanket fits the average four person tent. If your tent floor is a bit smaller than the blanket, you can fold the blanket to get a good fit. If your tent floor is larger than the blanket, the blanket will still cover all of the practical area of your tent floor, even if it is centered in the tent. I have found the REDCAMP outdoor blankets to be a great addition to my camping kit.

👤The REDCAMP Large Warm Blanket is Wind/water resistant. This is a great blanket, it keeps me warm in 50 degree weather, with a extra light weight, and I can keep warm in low 40 degree weather. It's well made. It's easy to put it back into its bag.

👤Hate heavy blankets and searched for them long and hard. This stood out and lived up to its description. The bedroom is a converted garage and does not heat as well as the rest of the house. I only needed a sleeping bag liner and a 65 degree room during the cold New Mexico desert nights. There is thermal underware as well. It came out perfect after being washed in warm water and a low hear dryer. This will last a long time with the added benefit of outdoor use.

👤I bought it for the same reason another review bought it. It can be used as a tent floor insulation. It will fit in my tent perfectly as an insulation layer from the cold. We camped in Colorado in May last year when the temperature was in the 30s at night. We had an extra layer on top of our sleeping bags to keep us warm, but I decided to pull the plug this year on another layer below us. This won't take up a lot of space in the truck. There was no strange smell when I opened the package. It is soft, no weird sounds, and it was easy for me to carry it alone. I'm excited to see how well it works.

Brand: Bearhard

👤No one should rely on equipment until they have tested it. I took the tube tent out one night to set it up on the lawn. The air temperature was 50 degrees and there was a light rain. I was able to tie one end of the paracord rope to a tree and the other to a trekking pole in the dark, but the line was too short to stake the pole in place. The paracord was replaced with a piece that was 28 feet from the house. The plastic stakes that came with the kit were pulled out of the ground. I secured the trekking pole and the tube tent with the help of five lightweight aluminum stakes from the house. I climbed into the air mattress with my clothes on. The air mattress is part of my emergency gear. The clothing consisted of cotton socks and sneakers, cotton running pants, cotton fleece sweater, a lightweight windbreaker, and a baseball cap. The air mattress gave me some comfort, but the damp air moving through the tent made me feel vulnerable, even though I was quite comfortable. I was warm enough to sleep. I tried to make the tube tent warmer. I put one end down on the ground. The warmth in the tent was increased, but then the floor began to tear from one of the corners, where the stakes and guy lines were applied. The tent began to fall apart as it could no longer hold its shape. When the rain hit me in the face, I gave up and went back into the house. I think the Bearhard Tube Tent might be better than it is. It's not a substitute for gear that works in a real survival situation. I can't recommend it to anyone because they will rely on it in bad weather.

👤The emergency tube tent was tested. I don't think it will be good for many uses because it's made from the same material as the non-reinforced space blankets. It's good to keep me warm when I just put the tube around me. The upper 40's. The video shows how to set up a bivy shelter with only one suspension point and the other end closed off. The last scene had it rigged as a tube tent with a ridgeline. I put it up with a ridgeline to see how much space it has. It would be good for two adults in an emergency. The stuff sack has a whistle attached to it. Didn't use the cord. Not impressed with either the small plastic stakes or tiny clips, it's too easy to lose, and it's not easy to handle in gloves. There are other options for stakes and clips. Trying to repack the tube tent was the biggest fail. The paracord was secured to the tube ends with clips. It is easy to set up in an emergency with the wound up cord ends. I did what I could to match the sack size, even though I didn't have much floor space to get neat folds. The folded in half began rolling to push the air out of the open ends. It took me 3 times to get the material to fit back into the stuff sack. If the tent is used in an emergency setting, it would be put in a pack and taken home. This is not a regular tent. I hope I don't have to use it, but at least it will be there.

It is important for customers who have never purchased a Mylar Thermal Sleeping Bag or Blanket to know that the material is very thin. NASA designed it for space exploration. The sleeping bag or blanket can be folded into a very small size, even though it's big.

Brand: Leberna

👤I used this product during my stay at Joshua Tree but I'm not sure if it did what it was supposed to do. I used my sleeping bags in warm weather. I put the sleeping bag in the thermal mylar and slid into it. The warmth of the inner layer may have caused my socks to be moist, because of the slight condensation effect of the cold outside temperature of the tent. I'm not sure if I need the thermal mylar or the sleeping bag in 40 degree weather. The mylar was making noise while trying to sleep. Imagine the sound it makes when you wrap your dishes and glassware in newspaper or when you roll a large plastic bag into a ball.

👤These are great for an emergency and a decent value. I bought the heavy duty Titan to compare, but it's too thin to use a digital caliper to compare. I don't know if thicker means they are more likely to be reuse in an emergency, but they are a better bet to use in an emergency and then throw away. I don't think the extra cost of the Titan is worth it, as I believe they will all retain heat the same, and I would like to see some real world test comparisons. I don't like hiking without this and other safety items. I've been injured on the trail before. It's great for a light weight emergency blanket, but better safe than sorry.

👤I used this product for camping in the national forest. The night started out warm. I noticed it was getting cold. I bought a sleeping bag for emergencies because I noticed that the weather was going to get cold and I wanted to try it out. The bag will keep in heat but also condensation and it can easily be ripped. The wind chilled the condensation. In the bag. I woke up multiple times. This bag is not a good one to use if you want to alert enemies or freeze it. If you are still and not windy, the weight is very light.

👤I like that it is double-sided mylar, so it reflects heat both inward and away. Southern California is a major fire country. If I ever need to break these out, they could be used to keep us cooler in the daytime and offer less protection from intense heat to car passengers while escaping fire. The reflective surface is better for signaling help. I put one in each bag.

👤It was very useful when I went to Mt. Everest Base Camp. They are extremely noisy. I used mine to fortify the blankets at the guest house I was staying at so the rustling kept waking me up, not something you'd worry about in an emergency survival situation.

👤I'm thinking about getting more of these for the homeless people I see. It's a great product to add to my grab and go bag.

👤This didn't keep me warm. It's better to carry a portable blanket than a real sleeping bag.

10. Emergency Blanket Survival Thermal Protection

Emergency Blanket Survival Thermal Protection

Wrap in it for extra warmth, insultation layer in sleeping bag, improvised rain poncho, effective cooling sunshade, rain shelter, catching rain and storing for emergency water supply, fishing lure, sling, tourniquet, waterproof cover for gear. They offer a risk-free LIFETIME & SATISFACTION WARRANTY. A survival kit, thermal blanket, and free membership to The Atomic Bear Academy are included.

Brand: The Atomic Bear

👤I was surprised how warm these blankets were. I start my vegetable seeds in the house in the late winter and use the blankets and grow lights to get good growth on plants. I created a tent around plants and lights. I can't close the tents completely because they create too much heat for the plants, but I can leave openings on the ends to let the plants grow. I'm going to add a tent over my baby chick box to keep them warm. I wish these blankets came in a 6 pack because I can't think of many ways to use them.

👤I took them out of the bag to look at them. The two that have a tear are the same ones that have a knife cut through them. Hopefully they won't affect me. It should have been seen by the person who packaged it.

👤These are legit. The packaging is very high quality from this brand. The included survival checklist was very good. I have almost all of the stuff, but there are a few good ideas from that list. The "18 different uses" list was great. It's great to use a heat source as a signal for help. An extra layer for keeping warm. This is a great value. I'm happy I ordered them. They go into the bag.

👤I bought these for a grow tent. I didn't know what to expect when I bought space blankets. They reflect light and warmth back into my growing rack to keep my plants happy and healthy.

👤The product finish was poor.

👤When we hike and bike, I keep these in my vehicle. We do it year round. Excellent price and good to have in case of emergencies. I recommend them for all of them. Always be prepared.

👤These emergency blankets are cheap and have the same quality as the EMT's and the Red Cross use. Everyone should keep their gloves in the glove box because they don't take up much space and you never need them. Atomic Bear gave a value for the money on a timely basis.

👤This is a great item to have in your emergency kit. There are 4 blankets in this package, so plenty to go around if needed. This item was recommended to me by this company.

11. EVERLIT Emergency Reusable Thermal Survival

Brand: Everlit

👤I wanted to give these to the homeless community. I am sure they can use this kind of raincoat, because it has been raining and cold. Thank you.

👤These ponchos don't feel like ponchos. I ripped 2. They are cheap space blankets. The product is an ok price for what you get but should not be advertised as reuse. You get what you pay for.

👤We lost power for 4 days after a huge snow storm. I have 800-273-3217 This is the first time anything this long. It was traumatic. When you 800-273-3217 It was very painful. It doesn't go away because you hurt so much. The cold makes Piling on blankets useless. The cold is looking for you. You don't think it will ever end. I don't think I'll ever take the feeling of warmth for granted again after the power was restored. I bought some Mylar blankets the first time I was cold. There are more choices now that things have come a long way. I was immediately drawn to this poncho, I thought! There are generous arm holes on the poncho that should fit everyone. It's a large size. I have two to keep at home and one in the car. It's bright orange, so I'm thankful for that, in case I have to get out and walk somewhere. There will be power failures in the future. I know I'll be miserable but maybe I'll be able to stay a little warmer with this Mylar poncho. And that is important for a lot.

👤It's too short and thin, and it wouldn't hold up in heavy rain or winds, I'm only 4 feet 10 inches tall. A large garbage bag with a hole in it would work better. It would suffice if you get caught in the rain, but never in a disaster.

👤I was looking for space blankets to keep in my emergency supplies but the idea of my family members having to wrap up and hold blankets around themselves in a genuine emergency seemed a little unrealistic. I was excited to see these ponchos. The material is great, they are nicely sized, have a hood, and you don't have to constantly clutch it around yourself!

👤There is value for the price paid. Veterans love taking care of veterans. The product was good and arrived as promised. It is definitely recommended to everyone.
