👤I keep my first aid kit in the house and in each vehicle. I had to replace the one in my house because I didn't have any burn cream or anything left in my First Aid Kit. Burn cream, benadryl, tylenol and any of the basic over the counter items you expect to be in a first aid kit are not included in this 300 piece First Aid Kit. Don't put this in a vehicle and expect to have everything you need when something happens. I am very disappointed. I can buy a box of bandaids, but the majority of what is in here is bandaids.
👤This product is amazing. My Dad asked me to research first aid kits for his Jeep because I am a nurse. The amount of supplies it came with was very impressive. I decided to purchase an additional kit to leave in the family vacation home should there be a need. After recirculating them, I received an email from the company with a PDF of basic first-aid instructions. After reading through and finding it to be helpful to someone without first-aid knowledge, I thought it might be a good idea to print off the PDF, laminated and attach to a keychain to have on hand for anyone in the Jeep or vacation house to use. The result and the first-aid kits made my Dad happy. Thank you for making a great product. I would have liked to have gotten a kit for myself. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
👤It's a great emergency kit. It is worth the cost to have it in your car, home, boat or whatever. It will do the trick as a first aid kit. It is not comprehensive but if you are an EMT you will be able to do this until an EMT or Paramedic can get to you.
👤Great kit! A lot of dogs are in my care. My current one had a leg amputation and developed a lot of problems, including a hematoma and excessive bleeding. This kit saved his life. I was able to apply pressure to the bleeding until I could get him to the emergency vet. I got this at the right time and will be ordering a few more for the car and house.
👤The product is under 5 stars. It is a good start for a comprehensive first aid kit. The scissors and the tweezers are made of cheap metal and that's why I took off the point. The rounded ends of the scissors make it difficult to cut heavier paper. I will replace them with better quality items. I have also added an array of bandages and seals to the kit. I would buy again and add one to my car.
👤A collection of useful first aid items is perfect for most needs. My plan is to keep it in the trunk of my car, just in case. I use the emergency supplies a lot. When you're at a state park, the only facility is an unstocked portapotty, and you have a roll of TP and bottle of hand sanitizer. This package has a great selection of basic items, as well as some "WOW, I hope I don't ever need that" stuff. The kit is at a reasonable price because the manufacturer put a lot of thought into it.
The bulbs are bright. The camping lantern has light bulbs for camping lights. When it comes to brightness, energy-saving and low energy consumption, the best light bulbs in the industry are the ones that use the LEDs. 1800 LUMENS. This lantern uses a total of 46 bulbs to deliver a high amount of light. There are 46 light emitting devices, including 4 soft white and 42 daylight bulbs. You can choose your lighting preference. The water-resistant is water. The waterproof design of the light lantern makes it easy to carry with you for camping or hiking. This makes it an ideal candidate for your survival kit. There are four modifications. The emergency light has four light modes- daylight, warm light, both and flash mode. The modes can be adjusted by pressing down on the ON/OFF switch. There is a lip-pROOF handle. The battery-powered lantern requires 3 D-batteries. It has a slip-proof handle and a hand-free light source. During the winter, this flashlight can help light up your patio or backyard. There is a lip-pROOF handle. The battery-powered lantern requires 3 D-batteries. 👤We live in the country and have power failures due to storms several times a year. I can't light candles due to cats. We don't have to wear down our flashlights for a power outage. I ordered a camping lantern because I wanted to take matters into my own hands. It's bright. It was easy to add the batteries, and I am very pleased that there will be no more times of sitting in the dark waiting for the power to come back on. I can work around the house, read, or just sit and talk to him. Hah! I'll be taught not to use my flashlight as a room light.
👤I was expecting it to be a "throw away" lantern. I am beyond impressed. I was surprised at how well built these were when I went for a camping trip. Very sturdy and well made. They worked great when we used them on the same batteries. They were thrown in a bin with our other camping gear. Our power goes out a few months later and it's not back for a while. I am looking for light sources and grabbing them. They have the same camping batteries and still have plenty of juice, so they stay bright all night, so our kids could find their way to the bathroom and not have to drink water. The ability to hang these upside down is a great benefit. I had to write a review about it. I would recommend keeping a few around your house.
👤I was surprised that it was small enough to sit on my palm, even though I thought it was a full size lantern. This turned out to be better than I anticipated. I use this to find things in closets, the garage and the basement. It is easy to pack. When I bought it, I wanted it to be that way. This is the type of lantern that I like. I bought another one because I loved this so much. I couldn't get it to work. I spent 45 minutes trying to get the batteries into the lantern. I didn't have that problem on lantern #1. I might have put that one together after drinking a bottle of wine. The first time, there were no problems. There are no red arrows to help you. The videos don't help. The models I bought have pegs that drop into a hole, and then you line up the notch. I suggest drinking signifcant liquor before attempting the battery installation. Do not follow instructions. Go with your gut. I still love these guys. '
👤I received my AYL lantern in the mail this morning. The lamp was neatly packed in a padded bag and put into my mail box at the curb. I like my lantern very much. I read the directions after I broke down. I put it on a table in a room with no lights and it was bright. I was almost blinded by the low setting. It made me think of what I said to my Eye Dr. after he hit me with his search light. Before your power goes out, read the instructions to find out how to change the base and how to put in the 3 D batteries. It would make sense if you were an electron or an engineer. Next, try to find the dark and almost invisible molded-in battery's position icons molded into the dark plastic case and mark them with some white out. The D batteries are put in different ways. You will realize you don't understand how the square base came off. I will cover that in more detail. You can remove a square base cover. Only with a 10 or 15 degree turn. There is a dark projecting rod molded into the dark base of the lantern that fits into a dark hole in the guts. The lantern's guts are slightly tilted inside to accommodate the slight turning of the base.
The First Aid Only 312 Piece First Aid Kit is designed to be used at home, in the office or on the go. There are 312 pieces of essential first aid supplies in this item. Clear pockets in the fabric pouch make it easy to locate the first aid supplies. The kit is the perfect size for a backpack, vehicle compartment or desk drawer. First Aid Only 312 is a First Aid Kit that will help you in the event of an emergency at home, in the office or on the go.
👤There are a lot of the same things in this. Alcohol wipes and bandaids were in mine. It's a mess. In an emergency, you should be able to find things quickly. The American Red Cross recommends that a family of four have a kit that includes: 2 absorbent compress dressings (5 x 9 inches), 25 adhesive bandages (assorted sizes), 1 adhesive cloth tape (10 yards x 1 inch), 5 antibiotic packets, and an antiseptic wipe. Add to kit my own suggestions for sterile gloves. Pre-cut strips of standard tape are used to reduce pain and swelling. If you need to use an Asthma inhaler, you can use Injectable Epistein and Antihistamine. If you're tested for drugs at work, you have medical documentation. If it's legal in your state, you can use medical marijuana. In some states, it is legal if you don't use marijuana and you don't use cannabidiol. An Indica strain with 25%Cannabidiol can help with pain without being addicted to pain killers. Joint protection tubule should not be a problem.
👤The kit is well thought out and has a lot of different items in it. The pieces are a little deceptive. 50 of the 196 Band-Aids are the tiny "Junior" Band-Aids. If you have small kids, those Junior Band-Aids can be useful. Giving them something that makes them feel better is not necessarily for using as Band-Aids. Even though it's superficial at best, a small Badge of Honor and a trophy to show that they've been wounded. Ibuprofen and Tylenol are listed at 6 each, but are actually just 3 packages of 2 each. Some of the medication can last a little more than a year. I don't think that's a big deal because Common belief is that over the counter medication doesn't get dangerous with age. I wish the kit had more items and less Band-Aids. The kit only has one trauma pad, one 4x4 sterile gauze, one burn gel, and one set of gloves. If I'm in a situation where I need a 4x4 gauze, only one will do anything for me. I could always put Band-Aids on it and hope it holds. I think I got my money's worth for the price I paid, because it was on sale. It's a good place to start building a kit. It will need to be fortified in order to be an excellent kit.
👤I feel good! If you count a package of two pills as 2 items, and a package of two gauze pads as 2 items, then I think this First Aid Kit contains more than it was supposed to. That is ridiculous. A sealed package of two pills or a sealed, sterile package of two pads would be counted as 2 items. If only one pill is used, the other becomes useless since the package has been opened. There is no doubt that the first aid kit's description is deceptive.
👤They must be hoping nobody will check to see if everything they list will be in your case, because they didn't get everything listed. So disappointing. There are open spots in the pictures where I didn't receive some items. I didn't get enough pills. No thermometer...
The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. 👤3 AA batteries are required. Surprisingly light for the size. It's not cheap to use China plastic. It's ridiculous how bright this thing is. I hang this and put it on the table like a regular lantern. It is black and folds up compact. It looks like a tactical move. It's easy to turn on. Simply open it and it will be on. It's not necessary to misplace a small switch or button in the dark. We had a cabin fire and I threw the broken window out to break it. I am sad that my lantern is missing. If you've read my review so far, this is a test. If so, well done. I am going to give you lunch. I apologize for lying to you.
👤I bought this lantern almost a year ago, but VONT has started sending me emails that are not related to the lantern. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from this company. If they're selling your email address and other information to other people for a few pennies, you're probably right. This needs to be fixed by Amazon. There is a The lantern worked for a while, but then the lights started flickering, making it useless.
👤I dropped it and it didn't break. The plastic doesn't seem to crack or break, and they both light up very well. The batteries are included. It's a straight forward approach. These will help when the power goes out, light up a tent well, and provide a work area. The handles are strong. There is no flashlight feature. Straight forward lanterns are what these are.
👤We are camping. The lanterns are easy to use and have a good price. These put off a good amount of light. The led bulbs are used in them. The hanging feature is great. We can either hang from the interior hook built into the roof of our tent or place it on our picnic table. It gave us plenty of light to take care of things before bed. The camping bins have these additions. After my husband got our generator going, we grabbed one of these and were no longer sitting in the dark. These are better than a flashlight in those situations as they are directional light and they light up a room quite well.
👤There are many good things about these mini L.E.D. lanterns. Value For The Dollar is one of the most important criteria when I rate a product. These lanterns deliver. They are light and bright. There are others on the market that are less expensive. I decided to purchase these because they were plastic. The base and the body were not damaged. The batteries seem to last a long time. If you lock your eyes on them, they will be bright enough to make your vision blurry. At $7. I feel like I have great value for the dollar. Some of the brands with metal bases were reviewed and commented on, and they were found to be rusting up after contact with water.
Christmas Gifts for Men and Women. The lantern makes you feel safe as soon as you open it. The lantern is bright without being blinding when you look at it. The lightweight lantern is easy to carry in a backpack or emergency kit because it is collapsible into a small size. Simply expand or collapse the lantern to turn it on. Even children can use it. The lantern should be partially collapsed to adjust the brightness. The lantern is water resistant and durable. The lantern can handle bad weather. FCC is compliant. The top lid of the lantern has a compartment for storing keys, change, or spare batteries. The lantern is versatile and reliable and is perfect for emergencies such as a power outage. Up to 30 hours of bright light can be provided by the 3 x AA batteries. Up to 30 hours of bright light can be provided by the 3 x AA batteries.
👤I spent a lot of time and money buying different brands and learned that they were the worst and the best. The Vont and Etekcity lights are powered by electricity. * They have the lowest brightness. * They only turn on or off. Everyone's eye adjusts after they adjust, so most people can dim their emergency lights to help them last longer. * They use a full power Eveready & Duracell tie for the best and have a fake dimmer feature, but the LEDs are just put into the housing to dim the lights. We have both in my home. They each have weaknesses and strengths. Eve ready. The Vont and Etekcity are not as bright. The Duracell is brighter. These are more useful because they have multiple hanging points. * There is a built in flash light in these. * It has a red emergency blinker, but when are you going to use it? * The flood light is turned on or off. Everyone's eye adjusts after they adjust, so most people can dim their emergency lights to help them last longer. * They use FULL POWER Duracell and have a fake dimmer feature, but the LEDs are only used to dim the lights. These are the ones that are the brighter out of all of them. You can only put them on a flat surface. * They have a swimming feature. Most people can dim their emergency lights to help them last longer. The standard AA batteries used by all of them are much longer lasting than the ones used for the LEDs. I don't buy any light that uses a battery that has more capacity than AA batteries. I bought 2 Duracell models for my home.
👤I picked up a 4-pack because they were a great deal. The lanterns are bright, compact and have an on/off action that is cool. They come with alkaline batteries, not the zinc-carbon cells you get in this sort of thing. They seem to fall under the idea that you get what you pay for. All of my boxes worked out of the box. I was very happy with the purchase. After not having touched them, one of the lanterns wouldn't light. I tried other batteries. I decided to disassemble it for the purpose of making a video on the internet. There are 3 circuit boards that support the LEDs inside the clear section. The boards have poor quality traces. There is no continuity on the tracks and jumpers were soldered on at the factory as replacements. The soldering is poor. Dry joints, half-full pads, and awkward gaps. It was just bad. When the lantern is closed, the contact switch gets depressed, which is the reason for the failed lantern. The switch was faulty and the LEDs were not on. I'll admit that I could have received a bad copy, but I doubt it due to the quantity and quality of the problems. The top part of the lanterns slides up and down smoothly, and with a comfortable amount of friction, as they are inherent to the design. The O-rings were pinched between the rails on the bottom section and the plastic on the top section. Even though the lantern was brand new, there was already wear on the O-rings. I don't think those O-rings will last long. Rub the rubber band against the edge of the table. Same idea. The lanterns are sold as "camping" lanterns. If you're using them in Arizona or New Mexico, there is no attempt at waterproofing at all. The rain is going to cause the poor connections within to get worse. I think the one I opened may have been a bad one. The fact that these are sold as " outdoor" is worthy of a one-star review. The only factor differentiating an outdoor and indoor lantern is water resistance. The product doesn't meet the expectations of the manufacturer. If it were waterproof, I would still give it a bad review for the terrible build quality. If you want to keep these around at emergency lights, then I suppose they are fine. Out of the four of them, one will work during a power failure. I wouldn't bet on all of them in a pinch. I'm not sure why these have 900+ reviews at the time I'm writing this, other than mine. Out of 900 reviews, there are at least a few bad reviews for high-quality products. I'm not saying there's anything going on here, but that seems too good to be true from where I'm sitting. Pick any product on Amazon that you think is of good quality and have more than 900 reviews. You will find a few bad ones.
We care about you and your love ones. More than 100,000 USA civilians have been helped by Greadio emergency weather radio. They back their solar radio with a 12 months warranty. Their professional technical support and customer service are here for you 24 hours a day, so you don't have to worry about purchasing this crank flashlight radio. The drill accessory allows the snake to be driven by an electric drill which is attached to the spindle, or by hand, which can be used to clear a household drain. The drain cable has a spiral head. It is not recommended to use this drum to clear a toilet obstruction. The large diameter of the toilet drain may cause the drain cable to get twisted. The tip is 9/16 of an inch. A long and durable steel drum housing with a grip handle makes it easy to use. You can use the tool easily with the grip handle and turning knob. The drum is not in use so the thumbscrew keeps the drain cable secure. Easy Work Gloves and Drawstring Carrying Pouch are included. It's great for use in plumbing all drain pipes, including kitchen and bathroom sinks. There is an instruction manual on this page. Easy Work Gloves and Drawstring Carrying Pouch are included. 👤This just happened. The auger was not attached to it. It pulled out. First time using it. Fun times with a sink that is not working. I'm happy, me! Returning. I decided to allow Amazon to send a replacement. Maybe it was a mistake? No, no. The replacement was not attached and just pulled out. There's more. I realized that the CRANK does nothing. It doesn't shake the snake, so it's there for looks. The black piece sits in your hand while the orange one spins. The snake doesn't move. It's not attached to anything, so why would it? Even if it did, the whole thing wouldn't spin. Wind anything. If it wanted to. There is a bar. I would call it a scam because it doesn't do anything.
👤It would go down the pipe easily if it was ran down the pipe. It twisted into a bowtie configuration and bent over. It was pulled back up thinking it was hung up. Cheap made bad. Went to Walmart and bought a better one. It cleared the pipe and made it to the clog. Have used these for a long time and never had one do this before. There was no response to my email.
👤If you bought this piece of garbage product, you would have the same outcome. There is a If you're considering this product because it's cheap, you should put the money you spend on it toward the plumbing company you'll have to call if it fails to perform, because you'll still have to call when it fails. Cheap plastic. Cheap wire. Cheap gloves. The bag is cheap. There isn't a deal to be found here. You are getting what you pay for.
👤Within 5 minutes, the item failed. Stay away.
👤Nothing else would clear the tub drain problem. We decided to use this as a last resort. It worked well. Before you try a drum auger, you should watch videos on the internet about how to use it. The directions on the packaging are not very clear. The whole drum has to turn to create the motion that clears the clog. It took us less than 15 minutes to clear the problem, and now we don't have to stand in a pool of water when we shower. Even with the poor directions, it's definitely worth the price.
👤The metal housing on the drain snake was bent out of shape when it was shipped. There is a I used it to remove a birds nest from my stack vent. The snake's twist is so thin that it twisted in two on the first spin. I returned it without any problems.
👤My son said mine had a small dent. Still, no big deal. I like the fact that it is made from metal, even though I hate things that come with small dents. It would be better if it was made in the USA and not China. I used it for the first time. I am able to use my hands to crank it since it was Hooked up to my drill. It has a storage bag so it doesn't leak. I know where to find it.
The berleben Tindr has an aluminum box. It's not much, but it's perfect for starting a mini fire or survival kit. Store your ferro rod. The Hand Auger might be the most important piece of survival gear you own. Their bushcraft gear is easy to use. Carry this outdoor bush craft wood auger when you're outdoors camping, hiking, backpacking, bushcrafting, or building with primitive cabin tools in the wild. The Scotch Eye Wood Auger is a hand drill. The first step is to turn the 1 inch wood drill bit where you want a hole, using a stick through the eye for leverage. The peg tool is part of the multitool. The cutting point for the peg wrench is on the scotch eyed auger. The peg is the same size as the wood bit. Throw it in your backpack as your ultimate bushcraft tool and you'll be good to go. Even comes with a leather sheath. It is recommended for soft wood and green wood projects such as fish traps, chairs, mallets, ladders, maple syrup taps and survival shelters.
👤I was very excited to try this out. I was able to drill two holes with ease and create one peg, but the auger bit broke at the weld, so I had to use a hammer to create my second peg. I would be more than happy to write a new review if I could get a replacement and finish at least one project with it. I am not impressed at the moment.
👤Settlers Wrench is a trademark that is not to be used without authorization.
👤Do not buy bonds with bad sinners.
👤I used this for 6 months but don't use the hammer feature because it cuts out holes very easy. The proof is before you, so why do the top knife manufacturers like Esee, cold steel, ka bar, tops and Ontario buy expensive long pieces of steel? It's because welds are garbage when it comes to impact work and only work for buildings, because nobody uses a building to hammer something or split something.
👤I used it on the first stick. The sharp end was damaged when it was tapped in. Which is sad. I was using a rubber mallet in a controlled environment to test it. I can't cut it out of the stick. If I decide it's worth my time, I'll use a small chisel to remove the stick. Probably not. Don't spend your money on this.
👤This is only used for two times. Purchase something else if you want to save money.
👤The sheath is cheap. The tool is of good quality. It will be great to start a fire board. You can only imagine what you can do with this tool. The survival manual was disappointing to me. It was a good read. It was hoped that it would show some tricks for using the tool. If it passes the base camp test, it will be in my pack. It will make it!
👤I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it seems very well-made and it's very sharp. I will give you my thoughts and findings on this tool after I use it this weekend, so I will check back in about a week. Here is the update for Sunday. I have to work on tools first. I expect everything to work hard when I push. The tool did not fail. I am impressed. The tool was put through the ringer. I used it to build a small lean to. I don't do videos or show my work. I can tell you that this tool is worth the money. It is easy to care for.

👤I ground the handle down so I could hammer it into wood. 1 in handle and 1 in auger. There is an instant settlers wrench.
👤It seems ok. If you are looking to acquire something like this, I would recommend giving it a try. I was slightly concerned about how it would hold up, as the end of the one I received was severely chipping. It doesn't seem to affect its function so I'm sticking with it. Minor chipping was also found elsewhere. Poor quality material is a possibility. It might be a good idea to smooth it out a bit to prevent more chipping. A star is removed for defects. If I feel it has stood the test of time, I will update the review.
👤Wow...this thing is really bad. The design of this type auger says to heat me up and bind me in a hole. The first try out of the box went well. It is much quicker and stronger to drill through the log rings. The problem is that thetwist reduces the tools chip clearing capabilities while increasing its heat producing surface. I thought the design had been thoroughly researched before I bought it.
👤I was expecting one side of the eye to be changed. I guess that's my fault because I can't say I confirmed it. It feels sturdy and well constructed.
👤It's not magic, it's a tool that requires physical work to deploy, so be sure to know what you're buying. It does what it was made to do, but you're going to have to crank it through wood to make it work. If you understand what you're getting, you will be very pleased with this tool, as long as you want a tool and not a toy.
👤I like the thickness of the wood. I don't think it will break as I use it. The screw side is perfectly matched to the hole side. You can use this one simple tool to make a lot of things. You would need an axe to use this. This requires no electricity to use your own strength. I will be using this many more times.
👤I am an iron worker and so the first thing I inspected was the welds. I was not impressed, it has a hole where the weld did not finish wrapping around the pipe, and when it arrived there was already rust coming from the hole, and we are not cleaned off of it before painting.
👤It's not too expensive. I was able to drill through the white pine's 40 cm trunk in about an hour and a half by drilling a pilot hole with a masonry drill. The effort to turn that durn thing was tremendous, but that was okay as the auger needed to be cleared fairly often. I used a Dremel and grinder tool to smooth out the inside of the tube. I didn't spend a ton of dough, so I shouldn't have to do this with an auger out of the box. There were tradeoffs.

👤The emergency radio is good for what it costs, but it could be better. I like the big screen. It's much easier to read. There is a The charging cable uses a microusb cable. Most of the phones in the world use theusb-c cables. There are no cables for Apple products. We had to order the cables in case we had to charge our phones in an emergency. The 2000mAh Power Bank is next. It's okay. The newer emergency radios use a power bank. The 2000mAh will only charge one phone. The radio has a solar charging station on top of it. The flip up solar panel on the emergency radios gives them more direct sunlight for charging.
👤I've been testing this against my other gear for a couple weeks now. It's going well. I have a few of the Eton Microlink FR160, so you can see how it compares to my video review. There are pros and cons for people who don't want to watch the video. It's not as compact as an analog or battery only device, but it's not hard to focus. It could be easier to replace the built-in battery.
👤I wanted to keep something in my vehicle for emergencies. The sound quality of the emergency radio I have is so bad that it becomes an irritation after a minute or two. The sound quality is good, but the radio matches the er210 in every respect. It was the same size as the er210. The solar panel will produce power. The crank can be turned easily. The reading light is more of a spot light. When the radios are plugged in, reception on the er210 does not change but on the Aiworth reception is severely affected and one has to move the antenna to an upright position to get it away from the body of the radio. Both radios have excellent reception.
👤We are trying to build a family emergency box. My husband suggested that we get an emergency radio to use when we are backpacking, since we will be off the grid for a week next spring. I found this one on Amazon and it has all of the bells and whistles. Exactly what we were looking for! Oh my gosh! There is a hand crank that you can use to crank battery power, and the radio is charged by solar energy. The radio can be charged using a cable or batteries. There are lots of different options. This emergency radio has a flashlight, a reading lamp, and a compass, and it's also an emergency radio. This is a power bank, so I can charge my phone with it in the event of an emergency. That is better than that. This will be great for us to take with us. It's essential for emergencies and backpacking. It's definitely recommended for every household.
👤The radio has a battery inside. The solar panel will charge when it's under the sun. You can put batteries in it. You can charge with the cranks at back. The radio can be used to search channels. It has a flashlight. It's a good companion when you are in the forest.

The fire starter is by Bushcraft Surge. The ferro rod fire starter throws sparks to start the fire. The extra large fire starter bristle is a waterproof fire starter. It is easy to use, it ignites from the sparks of the ferro rod. Over 15,000 strikes are composed of a high quality ferrocerium and magnesium blend. A handcrafted cherry wood handle has a comfortable grip. A lanyard with a hardened steel multi-tool flint is attached to it with a built-in wrench and toothed edge. The weight is 2.3 ounces. You can either carry it in your pack or wear it around your neck. Great for backpacking, hiking, and camping. It's a great gift for a bushcraft woodsman.
👤It seems that the consumer is not aware that this product is made in China until they receive it. Will purchase a Texas Bushcraft fire starter when he returns.
👤The survival fire starter exceeded my expectations. This is a great addition to my gear. This will be fun to use to teach survival skills at my summer camp. The quality is top-notch and it is the perfect size. The handle is very nice and it makes it easy to throw sparks. I've used ferro rods in the past, but this is much easier. It comes with a paracord survival bracelet. When I ordered it, I didn't know it had a mini ferro rod fire starter built into it. I think this is a great fire scorer for camping or bushcraft survival.
👤The compass and the whistle are not fun. I can't recommend this bracelet. The long Fero rod and strikers kit is not bundled with the kit as seen, it works well and the sparks that are produced are strong. I couldn't send a submission so I had to pick a 1 Star Rating.
👤The bracelet and strikers were present. I don't care about anything else but the rod and strikers. I like how the strikers have no plastic. I know it will not break from the pressure. I plan to get back into camping and hunting soon. Dad took me on scouting outings when I was a kid. I want to test myself in situations where I am not as prepared as the scouts. There were no matches or fire starting kits to start. I've never started a fire with my dad's flint, and he rarely used it. I decided to see if I needed to practice with it. The rounded and toothed tip was the main selling point of the strikers tools. I took a branch from a pile of dead branches. All I could do was scratch it. I will write this and think about it. It seems like a tool that would work on larger pieces of a tree and I will find something that will work on it. I expected a sharper edge on one side so it would work better to shear off the wood in its small diameter. I will take a filing kit to this puppy now that I think about it. Still. The kindling maker portion of the tool needs to be shaped a bit wider to improve its shearing ability. It's just a ridged grooves. It can be used as a forward. HOLY COW! I tried to figure out how much pressure was applied. The black coating makes it hard to get off as it's just a slick barrier to initially get off and take more pressure off. The sound is so satisfying when the sparks fly everywhere. I need to see how natural I am at starting a fire. We had some rain in the last 2 days but it was mostly dry. I went to the fire pit after taking dead weeds and dry leaves. I will say that it lit a fire in one try. Every few strikes, I had to fiddle with my birds nest. There were times when the thing was struck so quickly that it was hard to get a spark to catch in the nest. It would be hard to tell if the smoke was coming from the bird nest or the strikers. There is a Within a few minutes of effort, and 1 minute of gathering the kindling after giving up on the kindling tool. I had a nest on fire. There were 2 flames that came out of it. It had to be set down. I didn't want to commit to having a full fire because I didn't have everything ready. I didn't have a pile of kindling to keep the fire going. If I did. I'm pretty sure I would have had a roaring fire in less than 10 minutes. It's 54 degrees with a nice breeze. I think that's a pretty effective Firestarter attempt. I left. "Oh it's on fire!", to "I'm not as natural as I thought I would be at this." It took in a matter of seconds. I didn't blow it. No ember to light up the sky. It was on fire. No cotton or anything like that. There were mostly dry leaves and dead weed twigs in the bowl. I was caught off guard when I got 2 flames instead of an ember. The reviews said the bracelet would be cheap. I didn't care if that was the case. It had a fire rod on the clip. I was expecting a cheap toy quality compass. It is a solid compass with liquid inside. Whenever I look at it, it's easy to read and turn to North. I have large hands. I wouldn't be surprised if it was too small. It fits just right and doesn't make a difference to my skin. People complain about the whistle. It sounds like a high pitch whistle and is not a cheap one. It comes across as a piercing sound. There is a hole in the ground. I don't know why it's there. If you cover it, the whistle will still work even if you blow it. You can easily cover it with your lip. People say it's broken, but I don't think that's right. The "cutter" is not going to be able to cut a small thing. It's probably better to kindling than the strikers tool. It would break if you used it that way. The center of the clip has a strikers rod. It's small. I don't know how you could use it without breaking the clips. There was no tool to hit it. Why don't you put a grooves in the cutter to fit the rod and use it as a strikers? I'll be filing that down as well. The paracord is strong. It's heavier than I expected. The cord on the rod seems to be very strong. I expect the rod to be worn down before the cord does. If I am using that word correctly, the handle feels very comfortable. I wish the rod was a bit longer. I wouldn't be interested in this if it was more than $20. I see the bracelet as a bit of a novelty. I was surprised to find that it is sturdy and a nice bonus to make it a good value at $15.99. It's a perfect first tool for anyone. My biggest perk is the metal tool. The man that kicks up sparks is easy to spot. When the rod wears down. I'll keep the one for the replacement. I've never owned one before, so I can't comment on the life expectancy. I am surprised at how much wear and tear has already occurred. I'm starting to think that my dad didn't use that rod to start the fire, because it looks worse already. If they are all soft and easy to shave, or if I'm using too much force, to really give an experienced opinion on that. I can 3D print another handle, since I know the last one. I don't need a compass or emergency whistle, I got one on my wrist, and it doesn't hang from my neck. I'll find something to attach to it to make it more useful. I might as well include it in my survival arsenal because the thing isn't going to break anytime soon.

👤I like it. The use of 3 TripleAAA batteries is nice. The NiCad battery is charged with theusb. There is also Solar and Crank. Better made and larger than some of the other models on Amazon. This will be useful the next time there is a power outage. The Weather Band is useful when you need it. The reading light is nice. Hurricane Matthew is an update! There was no power for 5 days. The radio was a lifesaver.
👤This little guy is the best weather radio I have ever owned. It can power with solar, batteries or crank. It picks up the radio signals. The weather channel is clear. It has a loud panic alarm, and it has a flashlight. There is a reader behind the solar panel. You can use it to charge your phone. It is a good looking radio. The feel is very soft. The item is very well made. I really do. Love. This is the radio! I would recommend it to anyone who wants an inexpensive emergency radio that does that job, because I am so pleased with it. There are a lot of good things about this.
👤There is a big drive in movie addiction here. We hit it once a week from opening weekend until last weekend. In the last eight years, I have been very harsh on my car batteries and alternators. The voice of reason whispered in my ear and said "hey maybe you should get a radio instead of using the car". Excellent! I searched for one, months and months. I'm not dealing with that because boom boxes and portable music players all need "D" batteries. I looked at other types from related searches. The sports radios had the right battery size, but it seemed too small for movie sound. I knew the sound would be right, I have one of those in my garage, they had the right size battery, so what is stopping me? I don't want to deal with another device that needs batteries, probably weekly or bi weekly, with my usage, so I don't want to. I look in every month to see if anything catches my attention. There are solar powered speakers, right batteries, and a manual hand crank. At drive in, had been solar charging all week. It's perfect sound can be heard in 2 movies without an issue. It doesn't turn on after the second week. I know it was already in the position. My youngest said that he wanted to see how it worked. It's okay. I forgot to put some extra batteries in the car, so we're going to have to crank it. We are cranking and passing for 30 minutes. It almost got through the first movie before it died. The sound gets softer. I was able to crank it after we watched it.
👤One trip to the outdoors and a piece of plastic was warped and came away from the product because it was in the sun. This is not acceptable because it's solar powered. Everything else worked.
