Brand: Bushcraft Survival

👤It seems that the consumer is not aware that this product is made in China until they receive it. Will purchase a Texas Bushcraft fire starter when he returns.

👤The survival fire starter exceeded my expectations. This is a great addition to my gear. This will be fun to use to teach survival skills at my summer camp. The quality is top-notch and it is the perfect size. The handle is very nice and it makes it easy to throw sparks. I've used ferro rods in the past, but this is much easier. It comes with a paracord survival bracelet. When I ordered it, I didn't know it had a mini ferro rod fire starter built into it. I think this is a great fire scorer for camping or bushcraft survival.

👤The compass and the whistle are not fun. I can't recommend this bracelet. The long Fero rod and strikers kit is not bundled with the kit as seen, it works well and the sparks that are produced are strong. I couldn't send a submission so I had to pick a 1 Star Rating.

👤The bracelet and strikers were present. I don't care about anything else but the rod and strikers. I like how the strikers have no plastic. I know it will not break from the pressure. I plan to get back into camping and hunting soon. Dad took me on scouting outings when I was a kid. I want to test myself in situations where I am not as prepared as the scouts. There were no matches or fire starting kits to start. I've never started a fire with my dad's flint, and he rarely used it. I decided to see if I needed to practice with it. The rounded and toothed tip was the main selling point of the strikers tools. I took a branch from a pile of dead branches. All I could do was scratch it. I will write this and think about it. It seems like a tool that would work on larger pieces of a tree and I will find something that will work on it. I expected a sharper edge on one side so it would work better to shear off the wood in its small diameter. I will take a filing kit to this puppy now that I think about it. Still. The kindling maker portion of the tool needs to be shaped a bit wider to improve its shearing ability. It's just a ridged grooves. It can be used as a forward. HOLY COW! I tried to figure out how much pressure was applied. The black coating makes it hard to get off as it's just a slick barrier to initially get off and take more pressure off. The sound is so satisfying when the sparks fly everywhere. I need to see how natural I am at starting a fire. We had some rain in the last 2 days but it was mostly dry. I went to the fire pit after taking dead weeds and dry leaves. I will say that it lit a fire in one try. Every few strikes, I had to fiddle with my birds nest. There were times when the thing was struck so quickly that it was hard to get a spark to catch in the nest. It would be hard to tell if the smoke was coming from the bird nest or the strikers. There is a Within a few minutes of effort, and 1 minute of gathering the kindling after giving up on the kindling tool. I had a nest on fire. There were 2 flames that came out of it. It had to be set down. I didn't want to commit to having a full fire because I didn't have everything ready. I didn't have a pile of kindling to keep the fire going. If I did. I'm pretty sure I would have had a roaring fire in less than 10 minutes. It's 54 degrees with a nice breeze. I think that's a pretty effective Firestarter attempt. I left. "Oh it's on fire!", to "I'm not as natural as I thought I would be at this." It took in a matter of seconds. I didn't blow it. No ember to light up the sky. It was on fire. No cotton or anything like that. There were mostly dry leaves and dead weed twigs in the bowl. I was caught off guard when I got 2 flames instead of an ember. The reviews said the bracelet would be cheap. I didn't care if that was the case. It had a fire rod on the clip. I was expecting a cheap toy quality compass. It is a solid compass with liquid inside. Whenever I look at it, it's easy to read and turn to North. I have large hands. I wouldn't be surprised if it was too small. It fits just right and doesn't make a difference to my skin. People complain about the whistle. It sounds like a high pitch whistle and is not a cheap one. It comes across as a piercing sound. There is a hole in the ground. I don't know why it's there. If you cover it, the whistle will still work even if you blow it. You can easily cover it with your lip. People say it's broken, but I don't think that's right. The "cutter" is not going to be able to cut a small thing. It's probably better to kindling than the strikers tool. It would break if you used it that way. The center of the clip has a strikers rod. It's small. I don't know how you could use it without breaking the clips. There was no tool to hit it. Why don't you put a grooves in the cutter to fit the rod and use it as a strikers? I'll be filing that down as well. The paracord is strong. It's heavier than I expected. The cord on the rod seems to be very strong. I expect the rod to be worn down before the cord does. If I am using that word correctly, the handle feels very comfortable. I wish the rod was a bit longer. I wouldn't be interested in this if it was more than $20. I see the bracelet as a bit of a novelty. I was surprised to find that it is sturdy and a nice bonus to make it a good value at $15.99. It's a perfect first tool for anyone. My biggest perk is the metal tool. The man that kicks up sparks is easy to spot. When the rod wears down. I'll keep the one for the replacement. I've never owned one before, so I can't comment on the life expectancy. I am surprised at how much wear and tear has already occurred. I'm starting to think that my dad didn't use that rod to start the fire, because it looks worse already. If they are all soft and easy to shave, or if I'm using too much force, to really give an experienced opinion on that. I can 3D print another handle, since I know the last one. I don't need a compass or emergency whistle, I got one on my wrist, and it doesn't hang from my neck. I'll find something to attach to it to make it more useful. I might as well include it in my survival arsenal because the thing isn't going to break anytime soon.

2. CHPOWER Bushcraft Settlers Camping Backpack

CHPOWER Bushcraft Settlers Camping Backpack

A unique design is provided by the handmade knots and wooden bead on the handle of the strikers. The total length of the eye is 6.7inch. It fits larger sticks for easier drilling. It is very sturdy. The belt sheath is very handy. It was well packaged. The leather pouch is sturdy and durable. The tool is inspiring. It is a must for deer camp and camping. Excellent piece of kit. The cutter in the top handle hole cuts the diameter of the branches and sticks them into the holes created by the auger. The hole in the top handle is used to cut handles to fit through the top hole. It is very easy to use and high quality. If you can only carry a small survival kit with you, and if you need to drill a 1 inch hole in a small survival shelter from sticks and small branches, then this is the tool to use. It is quicker than anything else. This is an excellent addition to any bag. It is made of good steel. If you've been looking for a mallet to use with a peg, this one has the added benefit of allowing you to use it. You get a tight fit.

Brand: Chpower

👤It's sharp enough for now. It was necessary to use it to try it. It's good to have it in your back pack.

👤I tried it out on a white pine log and it was nice and sharp. If you use a long stick for leverage, it will be fine. Soft woods like pine will work well. If you are planning to use it, then I would spend a bit of time sharpening it. The quality of the welds is decent and it is similar to the design of a scotch eye. I would use the long blade for anything I could think of.

3. XtremepowerUS Industrial Electric Powerhead Include

XtremepowerUS Industrial Electric Powerhead Include

A better working experience can be created with the help of the Energizer Design and the LED Work Light. The built-in light increases visibility and control. Water can build up in the drum if the rear drain port is not used. The hole digger machine is perfect for installing fence post, deck, planting tree and many other lawn applications. Powerhead has a safety lock function that prevents accidental triggering for added security. The auger drill bit is made of high strength steel and is strong and durable. Its long-last service life-span is ensured by its sprayed black paint. The handles are comfortable. The one-man post digger has two anti-skid, vibration-proof grips that give it maximum leverage and stability. The 1500 Watts power motor will deliver 90 ft-lb Torque with 270 RPM impact rated speed.

Brand: Xtremepowerus

👤It is hard to believe that no one has commented on how dangerous it is not to have a clutch on the power head. These are standard features on most gas powered post hole diggers. I am a man who is very used to using yard equipment. I own a digger that has a 4 cycle gas two man machine. You get pushed pretty hard when it hits a rock, but it's controllable. I have used that one on my own. When I am alone, I wanted something more manageable. The unit is not safe. If you hit a large rock or tree root, the power head rotates twice and the auger stops. There is no way to stop it. The unit had a 1200 watt motor, not the 1500 advertised. It has a lot of power and Torque. I held the unit tight and it ripped out of my hands several times. If you try to hold it tighter, it hurts your wrist and back. If you are boring, it will work. I will return as my back is sore the next morning and I don't want a broken wrist.

👤I have a fence project that is worth 450 feet. The project requires 60 holes to be dug. The property is filled with clay. I got the tool yesterday and have already dug 18 holes in 3 hours. I would stop every 6 holes for a half hour to make sure the electric motor was not too hot. The motor got a little warm after digging 3 holes. The clay was kind of wet, so it packed harder and heavier for digging, but it doesn't stop the motor from cranking out the clay. I use the optional 12 inch bit which fits the auger perfectly to cut out the tree root when digging. The link is for the full amount. Even though I could handle it. The digging job would be easier with 2 people in it. The price includes the optional 12 bit and taxes. It would work out to be $5 a hole if it lasted for all of the 60 holes that I will be digging. If I didn't use the gas engine for months, it would be hard to start it, even though I would not use a gas auger very often. It will always be ready when I need it. The unit is doing well after 60 holes have been dug. There are some holes that I wish I had a gas auger for because of the clay. I thought it would be more power with the gas auger, however, it took a little patience, the holes were dug at the depth that I needed. The bottom line is a great tool and I would use it again when I have the chance. I know the unit will be in my attic for months, but it will work once I plug it back in. I highly recommend you.

👤I am writing a review in dirt from head to toe. The machine flung me. I was laying on the ground in the middle of my exciting project when I suddenly flew into the air and landed on my back. Maybe I should have thought about this because I am only 5'3" and 120 lbs. Does the machine work? It is amazing! Does it work for me? No! I can't control it when it hits a rock. If you are too small, you could sustain injuries from operating. Not made for people who are frail or easily broken.

4. Vont Hurricane Emergency Collapsible Batteries

Vont Hurricane Emergency Collapsible Batteries

A basic first aid kit includes bandages, alcohol pads, wet wipes, and antibiotics. The lantern has 30 crazy bright LEDs and cuts through the darkness on the stormiest, dimmest nights. The entire tent or room can be lit up. The collapsible design reduces or increases the light as you collapse the lantern. It's as small as your phone when it's collapsed. It's possible to fit it in your backpack or emergency kit. Waterproof is made of aircraft grade materials and is able to survive a 10-foot drop. The original version is hand-crafting each lantern with strict quality control to give you the best gear you deserve. Don't equip yourself with inferior lanterns. You can rest assured that this camping lantern is of the highest quality. It is covered against loss, theft, and defects in workmanship for as long as you own the product. It is certified by the CE/EMC.

Brand: Vont

👤This thing is bright. Like crazy bright. It's like staring into the sun in the middle of the night when you open the sucker. They are not fooling around when they say this is a bright lantern. The only complaint I have is that when you open it, you only get one setting. As the sun or darkness. There is no in-between. It's meant to light up the world, not just your campsite, so you can close it a little to reduce the brightness. I've had mine for a year and haven't changed the batteries. I bring a lantern with me when I go camping in the summer. Everyone else's site is within 10 miles. The lantern is bright. It's great. I plan on using it again. Just as soon as my eyesight comes back from the last time I used it.

👤Double boxed for safety, arrived on time. Save a smaller box for lanterns. The light is very bright. I can't comment on battery life until I use it. It's perfect for my apartment during a power failure. I don't think the lanterns are strong enough for heavy use, such as camping, but in the safety of your home. I recommend.

👤The lights were used for the first time after the power went out. They are bright, but not as bright as they could be. They are bright and painful at the same time. The only use for them is hanging high. Placing on a coffee table or dining room table will not work. Maybe a frosted shade would help diffuse the intensity. These will not work for us so we will need to look for something else to use during rare power outages and hurricanes. I can see why they are called camping lanterns. Hanging them from trees around the camp site might work out. It's not recommended for table use where they will be in close proximity to people during hurricanes.

👤Everyone needs a reliable light in an emergency, camping, or a black out. This is a great solution. It is bright and can light up a room. It pulls open for light and pushes to turn it off. The body of it is nicely constructed and easy to use. The metal handles can be folded down to make it easy to store next to a bed. A young child wouldn't have a problem using it. The light is very bright, but it doesn't get hot to the touch. Everyone in the house can now have a reliable light when they need it.

👤The camping lanterns with batteries were delivered. The lanterns are sturdy and bright enough for what I need. I was required to let a third party update my software when I tried to get the lifetime warranty activated. I couldn't get to the next step without the update. They don't know how dangerous this can be. I don't think I'll have a warranty.

👤Don't let them fool you, it's still decent. These aren't Pelican Case material. I think the lamp would be smarter and just light up the LEDs on the exposed side as I open it. It would use a bit of energy when I opened it. All of them light up when you open it a little bit. It uses the same amount of energy no matter how much light you need. Hope these help someone.

5. WEYLAND Settlers Bushcraft Survival Wrench

WEYLAND Settlers Bushcraft Survival Wrench

The berleben Tindr has an aluminum box. It's not much, but it's perfect for starting a mini fire or survival kit. Store your ferro rod. The Hand Auger might be the most important piece of survival gear you own. Their bushcraft gear is easy to use. Carry this outdoor bush craft wood auger when you're outdoors camping, hiking, backpacking, bushcrafting, or building with primitive cabin tools in the wild. The Scotch Eye Wood Auger is a hand drill. The first step is to turn the 1 inch wood drill bit where you want a hole, using a stick through the eye for leverage. The peg tool is part of the multitool. The cutting point for the peg wrench is on the scotch eyed auger. The peg is the same size as the wood bit. Throw it in your backpack as your ultimate bushcraft tool and you'll be good to go. Even comes with a leather sheath. It is recommended for soft wood and green wood projects such as fish traps, chairs, mallets, ladders, maple syrup taps and survival shelters.

Brand: Weyland

👤I was very excited to try this out. I was able to drill two holes with ease and create one peg, but the auger bit broke at the weld, so I had to use a hammer to create my second peg. I would be more than happy to write a new review if I could get a replacement and finish at least one project with it. I am not impressed at the moment.

👤Settlers Wrench is a trademark that is not to be used without authorization.

👤Do not buy bonds with bad sinners.

👤I used this for 6 months but don't use the hammer feature because it cuts out holes very easy. The proof is before you, so why do the top knife manufacturers like Esee, cold steel, ka bar, tops and Ontario buy expensive long pieces of steel? It's because welds are garbage when it comes to impact work and only work for buildings, because nobody uses a building to hammer something or split something.

👤I used it on the first stick. The sharp end was damaged when it was tapped in. Which is sad. I was using a rubber mallet in a controlled environment to test it. I can't cut it out of the stick. If I decide it's worth my time, I'll use a small chisel to remove the stick. Probably not. Don't spend your money on this.

👤This is only used for two times. Purchase something else if you want to save money.

👤The sheath is cheap. The tool is of good quality. It will be great to start a fire board. You can only imagine what you can do with this tool. The survival manual was disappointing to me. It was a good read. It was hoped that it would show some tricks for using the tool. If it passes the base camp test, it will be in my pack. It will make it!

👤I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it seems very well-made and it's very sharp. I will give you my thoughts and findings on this tool after I use it this weekend, so I will check back in about a week. Here is the update for Sunday. I have to work on tools first. I expect everything to work hard when I push. The tool did not fail. I am impressed. The tool was put through the ringer. I used it to build a small lean to. I don't do videos or show my work. I can tell you that this tool is worth the money. It is easy to care for.

Ihren Bohrer ist immer, weil me belasten. In der Hand halten man den Bohrer, um den Nagel. The Lcher ist ziemlich stressig. Ich lieber schnell. Ich hatte, da I Lust ist. So ist das eher, das Vergngen. Besser ist die Bohrer holen. Im Gnstiger ist die Kommt.

Brand: Honeyera

👤It's nice to have everything you need to start a fire. The tin will keep your material dry and the rod will spark under any conditions. If going into the woods, a back up should be part of the pack.

👤Sturdy and lights on the first strike. My 7yr old was able to create her own campfire as I taught her outdoor skills. I ordered another.

👤I will use this for camping. It's a great thing to have in a survival kit. The quality is excellent. You can't let go of this price.

👤Good value for money. A quality product that is easy to use and durable.

👤I am very pleased with this product. It worked well and exceeded my expectations. All that is needed is one strike.

Every auger has a lifetime warranty. Black Raven Co. has your back, so head into the field with peace of mind. They'll replace or give you a full refund.

Brand: Black Raven Bushcraft

👤I like this little bit. It needed a little finishing out of the box. If you can make it work, it comes with a tube that can be used as a storage container. I had a few things that I wanted to put together. I probably won't be using my tinder stick to start fires as much as I do because it makes a nearly perfect handle. The rubber end cap was easy to find and I wrapped it in paracord to make it look nicer. I used an old belt attachment strip from a wallet chain as a latch to hold the bit in place. It allows me to hang the bit from a tree branch.

👤I will finish with the great news if I start with the bad news. I bought it for what it was, and it is not great. I wanted to make holes for log cabin joints. The cabin is being tried in older techniques. The son of a bitch is very high quality and razor sharp. Made the holes very easy. This thing is still super sharp after 8 smaller log joints. The build quality is exceptional, but I wish it was about 4 inches longer. 5 star rating because it is worth it. Shipping time is great and it feels good.

👤It was well made. The protective coating is thick. Made many chairs and tables quickly.

👤I haven't used it much yet but it's a very well made tool and the welding job for the eye is pretty much top notch. I made a mallet for my froe. It eats through the wood. If you made dowels, it would work out just fine. Purchasing a few more for gifts is something I'm thinking about. I wish it came with a storage tube or something like that. There is nothing a quick trip to the hardware store can do.

👤If you are serious about bushcraft, you want to take it to the next level. It is a great way to do it. It opens up a lot of possibilities for camping and survival situations. This can be used for many things. The sky is the limit if you use your imagination. There are a lot of sub par shirps out there. It was too small and made from inferior materials. It is made to last forever. It was worth every penny. It requires very little effort to bore a clean hole in green or dry wood. Buy this thing! It is definitely worth it.

👤The auger was received. Is a solid product, but not perfect in finish, with some rough spots on eye and drill point. If you're looking to go through some stout logs, it's a little short. They have the option to buy a longer bit. The stool worked well through the dry ash. Also did not have a problem with the dry maple. I had to push hard to get the auger to bite in the holes that had some dry rot and soft spots. I will get more of these.

8. Bushcraft Survival Equipment Settlers Emergency

Bushcraft Survival Equipment Settlers Emergency

The auger bit is made to last and be sharp to bore the perfect hole. A perfect tool for any outdoorsman or handyman. Good for camping, survival shelter building, home projects and creating cabin dowel holes. Perfect Size: Eye Diameter is one-fifth of a millimeter, Total Length is one-fifth of a millimeter, and Cutting Diameter is one-fifth of a millimeter. It fits larger sticks for more drilling power. You can use a stick through the eye to make the drill simple. The peg is the same size as the wood bit. You can use a stick through the eye to make the drill simple. The peg is the same size as the wood bit.

Brand: Toyswill

👤This is made and tough. I tried it on seasoned oak and it took a lot of time, but it is not intended for hardwoods. I had to resharpen the blade. It works on softer woods.

👤It looks like it will work, but I can't do a functional review. That will have to be addressed because it did not come sharpened. The weld doesn't look like it will take a long time to break. I'll drill through the body and reweld it when it does. The welds are prone to break. Would like to do a follow up. You only get one chance to review.

The emergency first aid kit was designed to be used on your next adventure. The FDA has a registered medical device. The product is eligible for both the FSA and the HSA.

Brand: Surviveware

👤This is one of the best small first aid kits I have ever purchased. It is easy to find what you need. The included "tourniquet" would be a major shortcoming. The elastic band is worse than not including a tourniquet, as someone with less first aid training and experience might believe they have a tool to cover major arterial bleeding. They will not. The center pocket where this elastic tool is located is a perfect place for a tourniquet, such as a SOF-T, a CAT or even a TK4. I don't know if a SOF-T would fit in the current pocket, but I was able to tuck a TK4 into it with no problem. It would make the kit more expensive to include a tourniquet, but it wouldn't have to be included. Customers can design the pocket and label their own, if they so choose. I found the case too large and unnecessary. I put the contents of the case in their own compartment. The kit is missing antiseptics and antibiotic ointments, either the items themselves or a clear place to store them, and I ended up adding them to the pouch for lack of a better place. I replaced the flimsy triangular bandage with a heavier one that could double as a pressure or tourniquet bandage. I added a squeeze bulb for wound cleaning. The back of the kit has attachment straps that can be used in many different ways. The only complaint I have with them is that the snaps were put into the nylon strap and the body of the bag, preventing me from removing them as I could easily do with the rest of the strap assembly. I wanted to lighten the bag for backpacking and didn't need the straps. This is a good kit with the exceptions of the above listed items, but it sounds like I'm being ultra critical. It is lightweight, but not flimsy. The 600 denier nylon construction is a perfect compromise between weight and strength. The organized pockets allow you to open the bag without spilling anything and still be able to get the item you need without delay. You can add some of your own materials, but not overstuff the kit. If the tourniquet issue was addressed, I would rate it 5 stars.

👤I don't think there's a bag full of $2.00 worth of supplies. Supplies are cheap in China. There are cheap scissors and toy whistle. I can't believe I fell for it. Ordinary people cannot write positive reviews. Buying your own high-quality bandaids would make a kit infinitely superior.

👤There are a lot of first kits on Amazon. I wanted to find one that suited me. I like to have my own first aid kit in case the yacht's one is not up to par. I ski through the winter and hike and run in the summer. I like to keep my weight down. If I am ready for anything, I feel more comfortable in the outdoors. I ordered the kit after contacting the seller to inquire about it, and I was reassured that it was thoughtfully packed with all the necessities while not being bloated or overweight. When it arrived, I was excited to unpack it. A lot of thought has gone into the kit to make sure that you have what you need but don't end up carrying around unnecessary items. It's easy to find items because everything has its place. This is important because of the likely stress involved with a first aid situation. It's easy to put items back in the right place and it's also easy to see what needs to be replaced after a trip away. The bag that houses the kit is of the highest quality. The zips work well, it has a handy carry handle and a couple of loops on the back to strap it to a bag. I put it in my camera bag. It's a good size. I feel confident heading off for a few days of camping but small enough to fit into backpack pockets. I will be buying a second one so that I have one at home and one to travel with.

👤A very well-made tool; sharp cutting edges. The welds are clean and smooth. A cutting from a tree that didn't survive the big freeze last year was grabbed by a self-tapping tip, and it jumped through the bark and into the trunk in about a half-dozen turns. I slid a screwdriver through as a cheat bar because resistance was there when the planes started to bite. In the field, the tool will allow one to make a replacement, but in prep, why not take one with? A great tool, good value, and a courteous vendor. There were top marks all around.

👤It was tested out around the house and made some things. No issues! Great purchase!

👤5 months later... There are pictures added. They pulled out with a mild wind. The side of my new truck was scratched all the way down. $40,000 damaged. They were pulled out of the ground. On the other side. They were buried to the eyes. My canopy was up after the original review. I wanted this sucker to be strong. I ate my wheaties and drank some protien drinks. I spun. I got sick. I fell down a few times. The top surface of the auger would disappear. crunch! I dig. A small rock. Let's give the old college try. I told myself, "You've got this!" I turn and spin. I have to dig this sucker right to China because another pebble stands in my way. I dug, spun, and twisted these things into the earth, and finally made it 6 inches. Just over 38,300 feet to go, then 6 more inches. The Pros were built strong and long. The auger is too flat. You will want to grab a shovel if you have very soft dirt.

👤These are a great value. It takes some time to screw in. I couldn't pull them out of the Florida sand when I screwed them in. They are not sure how well they will do in rocky soil. New England soil makes these useless. Will not get into rocky soil. Just digs a hole, and then hits in 18 stakes.

👤I wanted to use the anchors to hold the canopy in place. The winds at the beach are usually 20 mph. Correct preparation was the key to the success of the anchors. Get an auburn bit! This is explained. Excellent construction. The welds are very well done and the steel is thick. They run all around. It was amazing to find 8 anchors of this quality for this price. The bag and extra rod will help the anchors get into the ground. The paint job is not the best. The tips were already damaged when they were shipped, but a coat of Rustoleum will cure them. Although. It was obvious that it would be insane to use a rod to twist them. The anchor is only 14 inches long, and even though I pushed down and twisted it, it wouldn't fall even in sand. I would have killed myself if I had done it. We used my drill and used an auger bit. The one we used was about 24 inches. Make a hole and place the anchor all the way down to the eyelet. You're good to go if you remove the sand or dirt. The bag is a good touch, but it isn't the best. The anchor ends pierce through it, so care must be taken when they are stored in it. Fantastic product and would purchase again. Make your experience easier by using an auger bit.

👤I was looking for something to hold my tent down. Campers know that tent stakes won't work in the sand. I gave these a run on the island and they were great. They didn't budge when we faced some heavy winds. They held their ground after tripping in the middle of the night. I will be buying 2 more bags to hold down my canopies and have some spare parts.
