👤I have been on a frustrating activity tracker and smart watch journey. I was looking for something that didn't seem right. I like to hunt, hike, bike, and occasionally run. An accurate altimeter, barometer, andGPS are things that are very important to me. The first thing I bought was the Fenix 3 HR. I thought I had found the one that was impressive in the beginning. The issue was the altimeter. It wasn't accurate. I waited for the Fenix 5. Same issue. It was worse than the 3. I was told to put the watch in warm soapy water. I continued to experience the same issue even after this seemed to reset it back to normal. I decided not to put my watch in a warm glass of soapy water every night. The 5 plus appeared to solve the issues. But then, garmin made a change to the Instinct. This watch has caught my eye so far. It is light and comfortable. The Fenix watches are large and heavy to wear. You forget you are wearing a watch. The features are great. It has everything I need. I don't care about some of the measurements the Fenix gives you. Some people have commented on the display. I don't agree. I would like it to be called E Ink. It is a pleasure to look at and readable. It is black and white. The keys are easy to use. The menus are very fast. You can use the settings to get where you want. The buttons are very good and I have not accidentally pressed one while bending my wrist. The accuracy of the ABC sensors is still being tested but so far it is looking great. I can not say enough about this watch. It seems like a great model from Garmin that will fit in with the niche hunting/outdoors market. I will give an update in a month. I have had this watch for a few weeks and have taken it on several hunting trips. I am very impressed with this watch. This watch is light and comfortable. I think I forgot how nice it is to wear a watch that you forget is attached to your wrist, because I have been wearing heavier watches over the years. I didn't like wearing my watches to bed. I would get into my wrist because it was too bulky. Tracking seems to be accurate. When you are tracking an activity, the attitude has been accurate. What I like about this watch is it is comfortable. It is lightweight and responsive. Menus and screen. The buttons arecessed to avoid Accidental Presses. I only have a few complaints and suggestions to improve the watch. When you lock the keys, you can hold any button for a short time in order tounlock the watch. The amount of time it takes to hold the button is too long. It takes about half a second for it to be unlocked currently. This is a small complaint. The screen is a proprietary material. I would like it to be a display made of sapphires. You can't tell if there is a screen protector on the face because I put one on it. The battery indicator should show a percentage as opposed to the 5 bars in a battery indicator. It would be nice if they changed that. Please ask me questions. I would be happy to answer. Over the years, I've done a lot of research on these watches and believe I have finally found the perfect watch for my needs. I've used all of the watches. This is my favorite watch. An absolutely great watch is still available. Every single day, this watch is on my wrist. It is still very comfortable. I have had a couple issues that I will address. It is a button on the watch. The watch was still under warranty. The watch was replaced quickly. They received an A+ for their customer service. I would be SOL if it had gone out after the warranty period. I think it is a one year warranty. I use this watch a lot. It is always worn. It has held up very well. I still think it is an amazing watch for the price. The lock feature on the watch is one of the issues I stated in the review. You can lock the screen. It is very easy to get it unlocked by bending your wrist and hitting a button. This could be a simple fix. The amount of time required to press a button is not a problem. It doesn't happen very often. It can be very frustrating if it does during an activity. This will be my last update. I will buy another watch whenever this one dies because it has been an amazing watch for me. I hope the watch continues to be improved. All the boxes are checked for my needs.
This tactical assault pack backpack can be used as a range bag, hunting backpack, survival backpack, army backpack, trekking backpack or day pack. The Tactical Backpack has a large sunglass pouch compartment, a hydration pocket, padded laptop compartment, and a CCW Conceal Carry Weapon compartment. The assault pack is ready for any rescue or adventure.
👤I appreciate the design, space, and function of this bag. I am confident that it will serve me for years to come because it has several compartments that can hold up to 72 liters. I was surprised to find a name tag on the bag and a patch that I had earned at work, that was a nice surprise. I store and axe and elche knife in this bag, as well as a hat, protective sleeves, a 1.5 l water bottle, sunglasses, mini first air kit, as well as snacks and other items, and the bag can accommodate plenty more. If this bag got dirty or you were cleaning it off for bugs, there are a lot of nooks and cranny's to be cleaned by hand. This bag has been used for field work around fire-break work. Thank you for reading.
👤Exactly what I needed. It's simple, comfortable, extremely useful and practical, low-key with no loud graphics or logos, and it has a lot of space. The baseball cap for scale should give you an idea of how big it is. Tardis is bigger on the inside. Unless you put enough weight into the main back section, it tends to move forward when placed on a flat surface.
👤My go-to backpack for the last 20 years has been the North Face Router backpack, and I got this to replace it. This one has more capacity than the other one. It has all the right pockets and slots, a great place to hang a hydration pack. The best nylon construction is going to last. I love the padded waist support and chest clip. Construction shows attention to detail. I'll be using this bad boy a lot for travel, hiking, and carrying a lot of shopping, which I'll do on my bicycle. Not many products get a 5-star rating. This is in a league of its own, and is a great value.
👤You can only say "Oh, so awesome!" with certain things. When people ask you about them. That's how it is with this backpack. So awesome! The Tactical 5.11 backpack has adorned the shoulders. Tactical, molle, pockets galore, numerous strategically placed zipper pockets and smaller pockets and pen holders mega-comfortadjustable straps including a hip belt that can be folded down and used for additional padding, CCW pocket, padded laptop compartment. It is amazing. I wore it for an entire day at a community festival, packed with contents and with a flag mounted in its side pocket, and it held it the entire day, never fell out, never got weak. The backpack is noticeable when you first pick it up. I told the Tactical 5.11 company about the fact that it already has some velcro on the molle, but it would be better if they had it on all the molle straps. I use this backpack as a daily organizer because of its well-thought out design.
👤I travel for work. I own a Surface Pro 3 and an Alienware R17 laptop. I had a backpack for my laptop. The shoulder straps were digging into my shoulders. I love it. The laptop sleeve won't fit a 17" laptop. It barely fits inside. My Alienware R17 will fit in the same pocket. I carry a jacket with me to pad the bag. I have several different types of cables, power supplies, a trackball mouse, and hyperX headphones in my other pouch. All fit well. If needed, there is still room to put at least 2 days worth of clothes in the large pouch. I put my snacks and water bottle in the 2 pouches outside the airport. Otherwise they are empty. I keep my wallet and keys in the 2 small pouches. This back pack is perfect for a gaming enthusiast who has to travel a lot.
Unlike other night binoculars vision that can't give you high-quality visibility without ambient light, their goggles feature an IR illuminator for full pitch-black vision. The binoculars have a screen with a 2x digital zoom that allows you to view crystal-clear photos and videos in an instant. This night vision scope is perfect for spotting wildlife, hunting coyotes, or protecting your home. The night vision binoculars are built to last. The goggles are protected by the rugged outer shell. Their thermal goggles come with everything you need, including a protective case, a phone/ computer card reader, a neck strap, and a 32 gigabytes of storage.
👤When I removed the day lense from the Nightfox 120R, I had to apply so much force that it broke. I sent them back and they went with the GlassOwl. It felt like Christmas when I first opened it. The case was made to fit the goggles. The contents of the case were very impressive. I used the goggles right away. I could see the house next door from a hundred yards away because of the clear and crisp night vision. I played with them for 4 hours. I played with them for 2.5 hours the next night. The video was taken from the goggles. When I first brought the goggles outside, they fogged up for a few minutes as I was inside with the air conditioning. It clears up after a few minutes in the humidity. Not everyone in South Florida will have that issue. Anyone who hunts, wants to watch wildlife from long distances or just has fun with these goggles is perfect. It's probably not for you if you're playing air soft or war games. I can not say enough good things about the product. You will not find a better price or quality of goodies anywhere. I researched for a month before buying the nightfox 120R, and paid a lot for it. When the package arrived before I had a chance to open it, creative XP sent me an email to make sure everything was okay. I got another reply email that offered assistance after I responded to the email. Customer service can be a hit or a miss. The company gets 5 stars all the way around. Quality and beauty in the same package. Who does that?
👤The description says 2X digital zoom. There is no variable optical zoom. There is only a fixed zoom. I contacted customer support on this. I can zoom in 2x on pictures, according to the 'digital zoom' I was told. That is an absurd answer. 3.5-7 suggests a range, and there is zero. There are two more My focus knob. It was leaking something. I think there is a lubricant that makes the focus knob turn smoothly. As I break it in over time, customer service will get better. Really? Customer support... I get an email every 24 hours, but the email didn't answer my questions or concerns. It takes another 24 hours for a reply after I email them again. It's just unacceptable. They may have a US address, but it doesn't feel like US customer support. It's slow, replies don't make sense, and it leaves me frustrated. It can see at night. Can you tell me anything? No. I can't really tell if there are trees or a deer in the background, but I can read license plates. Is it possible to watch? Good luck, there is nothing that could be useful here. Summary The binoculars are not good. The zoom is not present. The quality is a toy. You have to click the buttons many times. When it should be a single click, you want to digital zoom in or out. A toy from the 80's that doesn't work very well. I will return it. I wanted to like it. Their marketing is amazing, but the product is not. I will look for a better product that does what it says it does.
LIFETIME 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If you don't like the Glow Mind emergency glow sticks, they'll give you a full refund. Most customers buy more than one and give it to their friends and family. A modular design with a large main compartment and front pocket is great for daily commute, travel, and hiking. The foam back has multiple air channels and is comfortable on your shoulders. Tactical features include MOLLE webbing for attaching a variety of optional accessories. The front of the pack has a hook-and-loop for attaching a flag patch.
👤The pack has good organization and a decent size. You can strap a jacket down or compact the pack with the buckle straps. I would like it to have a hook above the h20 compartment to hang a bladder. I would love this backpack if it weren't for the stitching and design. The outer pocket has two edges that are too sharp. It puts too much stress on the zipper when opening and closing, and in just 8 months of daily use, the corner edge gave out. I can't recommend this pack to anyone because of the lack of warranty information. If you plan on relying on it for survival situations. If you need a bugout bag, spend more money on other things.
👤I bought a backpack for myself to keep in the car with the stuff I usually need, such as bug spray, sunscreen, and first aid kit. The backpack has plenty of compartments and attachments to keep all your items organized in, I quickly learned I can throw far more in the bag than I initially wanted to use. It works well with this back, I added a flashlight, a few pens, and nail clippers. Any molle attachment should do fine. The hydration bladder pocket works as advertised, though there is not a real hose hold on the shoulder straps to keep the hose in place. You can either add your own hose holder or make it work with the existing straps. I like the option to take the hose out either side. The molle and buckle straps are one of the best parts of this backpack. I put a small pack on the front, but you could strap a sleeping bag or bed roll on in several orientations. The bag has held up to being thrown around the car, in the woods, around the house, and general use. The backpack material doesn't show any tears or defects. I ordered another one for my wife to use around town this summer with the kids and on vacation.
👤I like this bag. The bag was replaced with a new one. All of my gear is rolling around together. I needed a gear bag that I could put in my purse and hang on the passenger seat. I work out of pool patrol cars. I have to move around for every shift. Taking on a passenger means moving things around. Things got lost when I put my bag between the seats. It's necessary for sufficient space for gear of various sizes, secure storage if things get slung around, and a convenient size for hanging on the passenger seat. The bag is labeled 3/3. The molle system and inner pouches can be used to organize awkwardly shaped gear. I had a molle attachment kit for my bag. This bag is 10/10 recommended. The hooks and straps are used to secure items to the outside. I was unsure of the size. The bag was the perfect size for my needs. The chest strap snapped behind the head rest keeps my big in place, secure, easily accessible, but also easily replaceable should I want to take it with me. It's nice to be able to grab my bag and go after a long day of work without having to search the car.
Men and women have stockings. The shovel head is made of high-quality thick steel, surface hardened and heat-treated. It's hard enough, wear-resistant and rust-proof. The Sunkoon Camping Axe is made of 3 CR13 steel, which is ultra-strong and rust resistant, and is made by a special process. It is easy to use because of the sharp blade and reasonable angle. Sunkoon folding camping survival shovel Axe Set includes shovel, axe, cutter, saw, hoe, hook, stick, wrench, screwdriver, bottle opener, hunting spear, whistle, fire starter, ice piton, window breaker. Sunkoon folding shovel Axe Multitool gear is composed of shovel, Axe, extension handles and other accessories. The Storage Pouch can be easily stored after folding. It's easy to carry. It is easy to assemble. The shovel can be extended to 37.8 inches, which can be used for any emergency situations. 3 screw-in threaded extension handles can be assembled freely, lengthen or shorten the length of the handle according to your needs, and then screw the shovel, axe or other accessories to the handle. You can use shovel, axe, knife, hunting spear, screwdriver and other functions more easily and comfortably.
👤The quality and heft of the kit impressed me, I just received it. It's nice, I assembled all the pieces. The magnesium bar is coated with metal and the quality of the steel is not good. Yeah. The edge of the knife was sharp until savesay There are dents on the edge of the kit after someone tried to hit the magnesium bar. The magnesium bar is coated with steel so that it won't work, and after a few attempts with the knife it created dents. The shovel and axe is large enough and works well. I'll try to update the review a few months out, but how long the kit lasts will be determined by how long it lasts. I'll use the kit this weekend when I go camping.
👤The whole thing was awesome. After about 15 swings, the axe broke clean off. I was not doing anything crazy and I am very disappointed that this happened. Do not recommend.
👤The shovel and axe are very handy to use outside. It is easy to carry and apply to different situations. I used the axe to chop the camping woods. I wanted to dig a hole in an area with a lot of tree roots. It was hard for me. The shovel and axe made my job much easier. I would recommend the tools. I hope you enjoy them.
👤You can't do better if you aren't fighting Cerberus. All metal construction can be used.
👤The product is worth the money. It's amazing how versatile it is. It feels very sturdy. I like that it's not light weight, so I can still get some good swings on some logs. I think a lighter would lose that ability. The bag is small and can fit in a backpack. The compass is the only downfall I have found. It doesn't work. The location of the north keeps changing. I am in Alaska, but I am still far away from the center of the world. A well rounded product with many uses.
👤I love everything about it except for the glass breaking knapper. Will contact them to see if they will ship it out. I can break a window with a hammer on axe, but I paid for all of them.
👤I am very pleased with this awesome survival tool. It must be very high quality for any one to travel, camping, hunting, or fishing. I will not leave home without this tool, it can be used as a weapon and protection device.
👤It's cool to have, but not all that practical. It won't do any of the jobs as well as the tools would, but that is expected.

👤When it comes to multitool shovels, the twist lock is the GOAT. This one is very strong because of that. All of the attachments work well. It is a bit short. I'm getting another one so I can keep it.
👤I had a cheaper military shovel that I was happy with until I got this monster of a shovel. It is better than I expected, but the protective sleeve is the only thing that is not. You can use it to dig, slice, chop, jab or hammer. There were a couple of cons. The pieces are locked together so tightly that you need strong thumbs to open them. I went into full Rambo mode to free the compass from the hammer. It is about 6 inches shorter than my other shovel. This is a con for some people. The backpack will not be easy to carry with the shovel. with accessories. The 4x4 is the best place for this shovel to be used. The lock fit of the parts makes them heavy, durable, and has a 'wicked' appearance to it. Strong thumbs are required to change pieces because they are 6 inches shorter than expected. The clear vinyl sleeve shows the nice look of the blade, but I thought a burlap sleeve would be better.
👤There is an issue at my mobile home park. When it rains, I get water that runs from the next set of homes, the gravel road in front of my house, and all that sand, dirt and gravel runs under my chain link fence gate, because the owners graded the land differently. I needed a small shovel that could clear the mess out quickly and allow me to open the gate easily. I needed a shovel that was small and easy to break down and store for the next time it rains.
👤This is a must have for camping. It is going into my emergency kit when I am not using it for camping. It is actually a shovel. The cheap shovels that other brands have are only good for digging up soft sand. This is a shovel. It can move dry or wet dirt with no problem. It has a sharp edge to the head of the shovel. It's easy to carry and lightweight. I need to throw my other ones away as I finally have a shovel that works. Great product!

👤I chopped some firewood on my first trip and the threads snapped in half, but I think this multitool is great quality. I thought the product was great at first, but after a few cuts it snaps in half.
👤This kit was perfect for my boyfriend's birthday. He feels like we can go to more remote areas now that we love hiking. If you get lost, it had everything you need.
👤I would like to introduce myself and my credentials so that this review is in context. I have taught wilderness survival and first aid, as well as former Navy and Sheriff department members. I haven't had the chance to use this in a real life camping or hiking situation yet, but will update the review once I have. wilderness experts wont say a multi-tool is multiple subpar tools bundled for convenience not survival. The truth of that statement is demonstrated by the Pathway North Folding Shovel & Axe Multitool set. The good first. This thing is cool. There is a It looks great and feels great in my hand. There is a The weight is not bad. There is a The stability is good. There is a I would have expected the blades on the shovel, hatchet, and knife to be dull. There is a The compass works. There is a The MOLLE pack is of good quality. There is a The ferro rod is easy to replace. The not so good is second. The plastic threaded piece that holds the knife attachment in place is good steel. I don't know why they used plastic for this piece. It should be all one steel piece. The plastic threads are thin and I can't imagine any heavy use of this knife in the wilderness will ruin them. There is a The screw driver attachment has a plastic port. I used a screw driver and a tight crank to experiment with the tool. There wouldn't be anything stopping the attachment from spinning in the port. There is a The instruction manual is not very advanced. Made in china, but what isn't these days? I like the tool. It is adequate for keeping in the car when you are stranded.
👤Absolutely useless. If you try to cut anything it will most likely break, axe is wrong shape cheaply wielded together plastic everywhere and threads are either plastic or aluminum. It was opened and sent back. I'm not sure why I'm being charged for returning an item. The seller probably set up the scam.
👤The concept of this product is awesome and I wanted to love it so much. The quality is not there. I used one of the two screws that hold the axe head to the handle after buying it. I returned it because I thought it was a mistake. The blade snapped after a single whack into a piece of firewood. The blade stuck in the wood and didn't hit me. The two that were purchased broke on the first use. This product is cool, but it isn't useful because of the quality.

Carry out the mission, and train with a rugged yet sophisticated watch, featuring an always-on 1.4” display with black DLC-coated bezel and nylon band. There are ski maps for 2,000 ski resorts worldwide, multi-GNSS support and advanced navigation sensors. Applied Ballistics Elite software calculates aiming solutions for long-range shooting. Jumpmaster mode, waypoint projection, dual-position format, stealth mode and kill switch are some of the tactical features.
👤I think a lot of people rate products without actually using them. If you are going to spend $1200 on a watch and not give it a review until after the honeymoon, then you should. I have had this watch for a couple months now and I am completely underwhelmed by the price. I bought it because I work in blue collar crummy conditions that ruin my glass and cause me to watch with dirt, dust, high chlorine water, herbicides and insecticides all corrosive. I don't want to charge a watch with Frequency. I am outside for 5 days a week. As I type this review, I am charging my watch. The battery life is under 21 days. I have a HR monitor that is always on, without a gps or pulse ox. The watch band is terrible. It will leave a rash if you put it on too tight in the first month. If you wear it in the shower take it off. You will get a nasty soap rash if you don't. Do not buy this watch if you want accurate altitude measurement. I don't know where garmin gets its altitude measurement maps, but they are not accurate to anything I have in my area, based off our actual elevation land study. I don't trust the heart rate monitor as it is unreliable and unreliable to other methods of measuring heart rate. The app and software calculations for the calories burned is something I wanted the most with garmin. I use it to calculate against my calories for the week to see how far I've come. I believe it to be consistent. The notifications make the watch better. I can't get my phone out of my pocket fast enough. I like to see if a text will stop me from doing what I am doing. You can make your own responses. It should have the same ability as an apple watch with phone calls and voice text. I don't think the watch is very intuitive and it could use a refresh on the OS. I don't use the app as there is so much garbage. It needs to be more tailored to what I want. I think this watch is a hot blonde. She looks good and everyone is jealous, but she's mostly useless and comes with a price tag. I give it 3 stars if you have $1200 and are impulsive.
👤It was over priced for what it would do.
👤Only charge this once every two weeks. It seems to track health metrics better than any Apple Watch. I use the maps and the gps while hunting. I haven't tried the app yet. I am very happy with this watch.
👤A beautiful designed watch that does a lot and lasts a long time. It is a bit pricey. It is well worth it. I'll have this watch for a long time. Thank you for that!
👤I only wore it for a few hours. I have a small wrist. About 150. I did a few tests on the watch and it was very accurate. It looked like a frisbee on my arm, as much as I wanted to keep it. It is big. I liked it more than the Apple Watch, but I looked like a fool wearing it. For those who can rock it, a great watch, but for small guys like me, it's a bit too much. It was a quick return. For a watch of this value.

👤I got this without everything in the description.

👤This is a very cool shovel. I wanted to put this to the test, but it didn't work out. The bolt fell apart when I flipped up the shovel. I think it's due to the poor quality of the metal. If I had to use this on the trail, what would happen if the bolt broke out of the box? It was an epic failure. The features and accessories are built to be thought out. The sleek aluminum handle feels great in your hands. The shovel's blade is well designed and sharp. I don't understand why a company would use a poor quality bolt to hold a fine unit together. The vendor should replace the unit. If they do, I will update my review. If the bolt held up, I could see this as a 5 star unit. I tried to get in touch with the seller to get a new bolt. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service.
👤I drive a small, off-road capable vehicle and I wanted a multi-functional shovel for camping and general use. The shovel is light and fits in the back of my car. Every component is sturdy and looks great.
👤After using it for the first time. The quality is terrible, but I like the overall package.
👤There were a few different folding showels. The one that proved to be the best was this one. The style of locking mechanism is stronger and more secure than the screw type locking mechanism.
👤I almost didn't order this shovel because of a couple of negative reviews. The company responded to the reviews and stated that they stand behind their products. I decided to give it a try because I noticed that most of the reviews were positive. Best decision. I am very pleased with the tool. It is a high quality product. I put it to the test after taking it out. I started cutting and digging with it. It was perfect. I can't find anything I don't like on it. It is very easy to use and feels very solid in my hands. I was impressed. The case that comes with it is made from thick cordura with wide, strong zippers. Wasn't expecting that...Bonus! Just order it if you are on the fence like me. The survival shovel is amazing.
👤This is very sturdy to begin with. It's very easy to carry once broken down. The features are a little ridiculous for camping. It was too much effort to use the saw for something larger than an inch. The hatchet blade was the same. Only once, but could not get a spark from the magnesium wand. I hope I never have the reason to use whistle. I haven't tried the ice pick yet, but I don't want to camp in the snow. I keep this in my jeep at all times, so who knows. If you plan to buy a saw, hatchet, knife, or other item for regular use, you are buying the wrong product.

👤I was expecting them to last a long time after the rave reviews, but they will fall apart in 3 months. There are holes on the pads of the fingers. I'm starting to believe that it's safer to buy name brand products directly from the company site than it is to buy them through Amazon. It's easy for counterfeit products to find their way into shopping carts since there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to make sure the products are genuine. I've been buying stuff from Amazon for decades and will continue to do so. I think I'll stick to generic non-name brand items.
👤Amazon is allowing the sale of counterfeit products. The product did not match the item picture and when compared to the pair of mechanic gloves I own, they are of lesser quality and have glaring deficiencies. It appeared that the price was good to be true.
👤I've bought these gloves before for work. I like to carry a pair of gloves for the occasional work that isn't appropriate for thin latex gloves. I've gone through too many for it to be worth buying more. The first pair wore through the fingertips on a couple fingers of each glove for a year. My last pair was less than a year old. I was fighting with someone while wearing gloves. They grabbed my hand. The glove ripped in half when I pulled it back. I lost the glove in the fight. I needed the gloves for protection from my hands. If the glove was still on my hand, I would not have sustained a small injury to my hand. I don't use unreliable equipment at work and these are both. It's the same thing. I've lost my faith in these gloves to hold up to abuse. They are comfortable and easy to wear, but I think you are paying for the "cool factor" rather than quality. I can't justify buying another pair that won't last.
👤These are the most basic gloves that Mechanix makes. This one didn't do it for me, I really like a lot of the Mechanix designs. You can get a pair of similar designed Hardy's that are better stitched inside for less than six dollars. I don't think I'll buy another pair of these. I want to try the high dexterity version of the same design to see if it can be used to justify the cost. I think I know, but I like Mechanix Wear so much that I'm willing to give them a try. Some of their line has been more admirable than others. The first pair of these I ordered was from a third party vendor. The name probably discouraged me, like a Chinese company would come up with. They had a slightly better price than Amazon at the time, but they didn't state there was anything different about their gloves or what was advertised in the listing. Since the order was still being fulfilled, I was confident that I would be protected. I had no reason to doubt the authenticity of the gloves because I hadn't seen many reports of them being sold as fakes. I heard an alarm when I tried them on. I had tried on other gloves in stores and they were more comfortable. The cheapness of the Velcro made it feel like it wouldn't last long. A small amount of research. The gloves didn't seem to have the TrekDry material or the hook and loop. There were several seams that were single stitched and shown to be double stitched in the picture. The thermal plastic rubber clasp was different. I didn't want to accuse the vendor of selling fakes. This was the first pair of gloves I'd ever purchased. The customer support I contacted was very accommodating. I sent their support email pictures of what I received and they said that the gloves looked like an old version of the glove that they hadn't produced in a long time. They offered to exchange them for another pair, with a pre-paid return label, I received from Greatest Buys. The offer was generous. I took a picture of the glove that I received side-by-side with their updated version, which looks similar to the one pictured on Amazon. The upgraded version of the glove was much more comfortable than the older version, which I was worried would cause some soreness after a few hours of moderate activity. Less prominent seams meant more dexterity. The gloves are less warm thanks to the TrekDry. The older model didn't have a prominent hook and loop feature as advertised. The older version of the rubber closure had the cheap plasticy Velcro that others had complained about losing its stickiness quickly. I am pretty sure these would have failed in the same way after opening and closing them a few times. I don't think the older version would have been more durable, but I did see something about it that made me think it might last longer. The newer model is more comfortable than the older one. I'll probably stick with Hardy next time, unless they make me convert. I don't have to worry about changing gloves every time I switch to an activity that might be too hard because I can get a more comfortable glove for only four to six bucks. When it blows out, I can toss it and use the Mechanix Mpact line for activities that merit that type of protection. I'm starting to like Ironclad for impact gloves. I'm finding differences between some models. Their gloves are usually good enough. Some of their work isn't cutting it. The 4x material doesn't feel like it's any thicker than the standard ones. They need a lot of breakin before they stop cutting into your palm and fingers. I think they're loosened up, not that they were tight. I tried a size too large for me and it hurt the same, despite being baggy. Ironclad's Impact line is always as comfortable as they get, even though I think Mechanix is slightly tougher on the outside than Ironclad. The newest version is on the right side. The palm and glove are pictured.
